Trixie's Blog
1: Discovery
Load Full StoryTrixie's hat fluttered in the cold, dusty air of Manehatten, the filthy city streets were not worthy of her grandios presence but today she made an exception. She had work to do. Her cape swooped behind her as she stopped outside the... cleanest apartment. 'The cleaner the dwelling the cleaner the cart' she thought. Once she was certain nopony was around she paced the street of carts and considered each one. Finally she favored one and lit her horn with a luminous spell to take a good look at it. It was midnight blue with gold stars at the edges. 'Perfect!' she thought and took out a bobby pin and a straightened out paperclip. It took about 30 mins to unlock the cart but it was worth it. It's yolk was made of the softest leather and the poles of the glossiest wood. It was obviously built to carry heavy gear because the cart itself was made of lightweight wood. The blue unicorn broke into a trot, she heard a noise, she went into a gallop, she heard hoof-steps and a shout so she went into a full blown canter. She raced away straining at her hips as she felt the weight of the cart. But she had to keep running, all she did in her life was run away in guilt...
Trixie came to a halt just on the outskirts of ponyville. It was quiet and the only ponies who MIGHT see her would be the apple family if they trekked all the way to the edge of their orchard, which they were unlikely to do at 4 o'clock in the morning. She slumped her flank down on the dew dappled grass and wiped her forehead of sweat. She had been running for about an hour and was exhausted. she opened the latch of her new cart (stolen cart) and hoped for the best. Food or bedding even a tent would be nice. Inside was something she couldn't of even imagined. A rectangle of steel, entangled in wires of all colors. There was an engraved picture on the front, it sort of looked like an apple with a bite taken out of it. She cautiously took out this ... thing and she discovered it opened up. There was a black screen on one part and the other part was covered in small buttons with letters and other symbols. Trixie was not only disappointed but also intrigued. this must be some sort of machine, but what did it do? she was about to find out.
After digging deeper into the depths of this cart she found several papers showing the studies of something called the internet. It was a human invention but this forensic scientist had somehow found a way to access it AND make the first ever laptop in equestria (that was what the metallic machine was called.) Along with some instructions on how to use it. She had nothing else to do, she'd never get another show again without being dosed in tomatoes and it was all because of....HER! She gritted her teeth and took a deep breath. So she decided she might as well see what this internet was all about... boy was she surprised!
This Internet was amazing! There were videos, pictures, stories and animation all for her! She couldn't believe that in the real world ponies despised her but on the internet they adored her! (oh and all the other ponies including the purple one but she ignored this) She had never been one for being... nice to ponies but she had to thank them somehow.
