Time Twist

3rd POV

It has been a long time indeed with Twilight Sparkle ruling alongside the princesses. It has been a daily routine of facing numerous problems, each tougher than the last. The forces of evil that attempt to feed their lust of power have failed countless of time. Miserable failures to the point where they finally gave up and actually used their time for something more worthwhile.

It was on that fateful day, a certain nemesis makes his final move. On his last leg, he decides to act more carefully. Over the many years from his last attempt to take over Equestria, he plans everything, calculating every measurement of what will and what won't happen. With the necessary equipment gathered to increase the power of his magic, he is now ready to use a spell that will change everything.

A spell he made just for this moment. A spell that will change time altogether.

"Everything will be different." He muttered as he readied his horn towards the sky. "Soon, even the smallest challenges you've faced before will be even more hectic!"

Before he used the spell, the princess, Twilight Sparkle comes in. He comes to a halt as he encounters the alicorn before him.

"I see you haven't given up on all of this." Twilight pointed out as she looked around the room. "You've been busy."

"Ah, a princess! Such an honor having you here to witness my greatest hour."

"What are you planning this time?"

"I'm going to take over Equestria, and there's nothing you can do to stop it!"

"You wanna bet?" Twilight said as she shot a spark at her foe, pushing him to the floor. He rose quite shaken from the power Twilight had gained in her life. Less than a drop of energy was used in the attack too.

The villain coughed and groaned. "Y-You certainly have changed Twilight… But even so, that won't stop me!"

"So nothing will change your mind?"

"Nothing… Especially now that the world will reset."

Twilight gave a glare as she looked at the walls full of equations and theories. "What's your aim here?"

"Take a good look princess. Ever since you've defeated me, I decided to do things a bit differently. You see, I've spent a long time calculating and creating this one spell that will allow me to change the time line."

Twilight was shocked. "What!? You can't do that! Who knows what will happen if you do something as disastrous as this!"

"Which is why I did my math fool!" He yelled. "Years… Years of planning, researching, and even some experimenting will now come down to this. I will reset time to even the point of Celestia's birth! It will all be the same… Except in the end, I will take over Equestria!"

The villain quickly conjured the spell, and the world began to crumble to the abyss of time. Twilight watched as everything fell apart. The villain laughed as he said, "YES! Even if I won't be there to see it, the new world will have ME as it's ruler!"

"You won't get away with this!"

"Who's gonna stop me? After all, you know as well as I. Science doesn't lie."

Twilight gritted her teeth until she took a second look at the walls of his equations. Slowly reading, she smiled. "Science doesn't lie huh?"

"What's with that look?"

"Oh nothing. I just think you need to take a second look at your work." Twilight a stated as she flew beside the wall and pointed at a minor mistake. The villain was a bit disturbed and quickly looked at the problem. After solving the equation, he was very frightened.

"N-No…"

"That's right!" Twilight spoke. "Thanks to your spell, you've just added a seventh element! There's now seven bearers of the element!"

"H-Hold on! Even if there is one more element, that won't be enough to stop me!"

"Really? Are you sure?"

The villain started to sweat, realizing his mistake. Even so, the chances of that one element stopping him was slim, it was still a possibility. Standing still, Twilight loomed over him as the world began to reset.

"Even if you restarted this world, it will end the same. You will be defeated like before."

"W-What makes you so sure?"

"Science doesn't lie."

Blacking out, the world is now going back. Back to when Celestia was born. Everything will soon change.
