RD’s POV (unfortunately)

It was my turn to watch him and I really didn’t have much a choice. It’s boring keeping an eye on a sleeping pony. Luckily I had a book about Daring Do to read. Then I heard some sort of noise from what's his face who’s never gone to a party. I looked over at him and his eyes opened and I raced to the doctor, eager to finely leave.

Fire Heart’s POV

“So let me get this straight, if I am here then I am part of some pony who is angry and wants to make you, Celestia, and Luna pay for taking over Equestria even though he caused things for him to rule?” I asked trying to make sense of it.

“Yes, yes, and yes. You are able to call him Nightmare Heart but his real name is dangerous to use,” said Discord.

“Why?”

“Because if it is said the spell we placed on him will be broken, even if you say it telepathically.”

“Wow. Wait what if he says it?”

“That’s the beuty of our spell, he can’t.”

And right at that moment Nightmare and I kinda swapped.

I slowly tried to open my eyes and I saw Dash fly out to the doctors as quickly as possible (still not as quick as Pinkie). After a few moments I saw a doctor come in and explain to me just what happened. Apparently, my alter ego was acting as if he was in a coma. The doctors then said that seeing as I’m now awake, I can be taken out of the bandages in a few hours. I could still walk, but I wasn’t sure I wanted to take the bandages off myself.

After a few hours I snuck onto a train (my wings disappeared plus I had no money) and waited for the calling of Canterlot. I didn’t know if he had a plan but even if he does, Discord and I agreed on one as well, and it was only a matter of time before Discord was released and Tia and Luna agree on the plan. The only thing that worried me was, will I survive if he’s killed?

When I heard them say we were arriving in Canterlot  I grabbed what few possessions I had and raced to the garden, where Discord told me his statue was. When I first found it my instincts told me it was a bad idea. I mean really, releasing the spirit of chaos to defeat a single pony? Overkill. Course, then again he was part of the group that overthrew Nightmare Heart. I concentrated on freeing him and noticed a light blood red glow around my horn and him. And then the royal guards noticed me. 'Damn it go tell the princess' I thought, and strangely enough he did. By the time they arrived Discord was having cracks formed in his statue.

“What have you done?!” Tia yelled.

“Perhaps… I saved lives,” I replied, fatigued at the amount of magic i had just used. Discord’s statue then broke completely.

“Free! Hahahaaaa!” he kept laughing for a few moments and when he was done he was serious… well as serious as you can be when you’re Discord. “Now, down to why he did this. Celestia, Luna, he’s returned.”

Apparently, that was enough to explain to them ‘hey Nightmare Heart’s back’ because they started to go insane. Then that brought a question to my mind, just how dangerous is this guy?

“Cool it! Now, I have a question I would like to ask. Just how dangerous is he?”

“Imagine turning ponies to stone whenever you want. Now imagine ten times worse.”

“Course.”

Suddenly, a guard came by. “My lady, is this enemy by any chance Twisted Heart?”

At hearing the name, I felt terror overtake me. I felt a burning ache in my mind. And I felt myself transform into Twisted Heart…

Twisted Heart’s POV

“FREE AT LAST!” I laughed at the guard’s forgetful mind, and I laughed at my victims. “Hello Tia, Discord, and most of all, Luna.”

“NO!” Tia yelledattempting to help her sister, as I levitated Luna. Luna was being suffocated as easily as plucking a flower, only this one, I savored the feel of its coming death. I used my magic, freed by the newly broken spell. Now, I will be known, as well as feared.

“Make your choice Tia!” I said as I levitated Discord, “You need them both to defeat me. So which is it… Sister… or the one who causes chaos but helped you to defeat me?” I couldn’t help it, I had them paralyzed and now, they were so far apart it was impossible for her to save them both. Then the terribly foolish Rainbow Dash flew into me, unthinking. It… was… MY kingdom once again!

Wow, I am loving the ideas that come to my head. Well now you know his true name. No worries, we will have a flash back very soon. Anyway this villain, mind you has very good reason to be, as Pinkie would call, a ‘Meanie McMean Pants’.
