The Bone Diaries(New)
Applejack states that she has been hearing strange noises in the Everfree Forest, noises she's never heard before, so Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash gather to investigate to make sure it is nothing that's a danger to Ponyville.
As Twilight is beginning to pack to go to the Crystal Empire to visit her brother, her friend, Applejack, comes rushing into the library and tells Twilight about strange sounds she's been hearing in the Everfree Forest. They meet up to go into the forest, with Rainbow Dash tagging along, and begin their investigation. Not even Celestia could tell them about what they''ll encounter in the dark forest, and how the encounter could change Equestria forever.

Just a heads up, given that Asteroth is an apex predator with sharp claws and teeth, I may change the rating in the future and add the gore tag as well.
