-Survivor #53
The world has changed.
Equestria used to be a beautiful country, one full of life, full of love. But now, none of that remains.
The change came just a year ago. One year was all it took for our world to come crashing down. The infection took hold in Manehattan first, then spread beyond the government’s ability to control it. Soon, Trottingham was a raging sea of panic, and then Idahoof. Even Cloudsdale, with its fortified defenses and floating terraces, wasn’t immune to the virus.
Of course, the virus is gone now. Ponies eventually banded together as they always did and overcame it. But the post-Resistance Equestria is not the same. The government has taken back control, and many ponies are resentful of that; after all, where was the government when they needed help?
Of course, there are the official stories of what happened out there, stories the government released to make them look like they handled the situation well. Others, however, were silenced to keep from mass panic from arising.
This act is an act of injustice. These ponies deserve to be heard. If their leaders will not listen to them, then I will.
My name is Quillin Words. These are the words of the survivors.
