The sun was bright today, it started to shine really harshly over my mane. I was a grey mare alicorn with a dark gray mane and tail, my tail had a grey stripe over it and it represented that I was a powerful alicorn. I was wanted by Celestia and Luna, they wanted me because they said that I was a "Alicorn." And that I needed to be withe the princesses. I lived in the Everfree forest with my adopted filly, called Pepper. She was a sweet tempered filly with no vice in her, I never stepped a hoof in that Ponyville, ever. Pepper did so though I told her never to speak of me unless she wants me gone for a very long time, or even... Forever! She never did speak of me. But, I had to walk into Ponyville...  "PEPPER!? Where are YOU!?" I shout worried as ever I could be, I thought she was swooped up by a creep of a pony and taken away from my hooves of reach. I gulp touching the dusty rocky path, knowing that it was the Ponyville path.. I walk, crushing the weak rocks under my hooves. The pony's stared at me, they knew me... One of the pony's started to walk past me, "SIT." I say flattening my ears at the stallion, I knew he was going to go get the guards. He did so, he went past me in fear,  fillies hid behind trees and bushes in terror knowing my so called "Legend."I saw pepper sitting alone. Looking at the fillies that ran away and hid into the bushes and behind the trees. "Mom, but I wa-." She says pointing at the fillies, But before she could speak I interrupted her sentence "Come now pepper, we must be going..." I say looking at the other pony's making sure they did not get up nor do something stupid. "Okay mom." She says as she standed up and trotted up towards me catching up with me. "shes the legend!" Some of the pony's say, I teleport me and pepper to the everfree forest, not leaving a hooveprint nor a word... We were teleported into the safety of my cottage, "Pepper, I must tell you something that you have never heard and you may not share with other fillies or pony's.." I say sitting down on a wooden Chair. I sigh, And I tell her the story of how the guards want me and how Celestia and Luna won't give up hunting me down. She looks up at me and gives me a hug, knowing how much pain is inside my heart. All of a sudden we both hear a knock at the door "Hide." I whisper not knowing who it may be. I open the door with my magic, turning the wooden brown knob slowly... I saw about 15 guards and I knew what they wanted, they wanted me. "Are you miss Brokenheart?" The front guard said, he was a grey colored stallion. "Yes, I am." I say opening the door completely standing tall for what or may not happen. "Luna and ce-" He could not complete his sentence because I interrupted him by saying "Luna and celestia need me, Don't they?" I say flattening my ears letting go of the door with my magic. "Ye-Yes ma'am." He says somewhat backing off, What a coward of a guard. He seemed scared and cowardly, most of celestias guards just come for the bits. //-------------------------------------------------------// Can't you see!? //-------------------------------------------------------// Can't you see!? The guards was still there, I sighed.. "Cant you see, I don't want to come." I say closing my Deep red eyes and opening them back out with anger of such. "Yes, Brokenheart I know you don't want to come.. But its celestias orders." One of the guards say "Who will take care of my little filly who is only 5!? Who? There is nopony I know. My parents are dead from the past guards." I say ready to kill all of them loosing my temper, my empty.. Dark heart could not take it much longer. "Please, Brokenheart come with us, We promise we will let you go." The front guard soon speaks again. "Fine, Unless I bring my filly." I say stomping my hoof "Yes you may do so." He speaks again. I close the door, Ha! Did they really think that I was going to go with them? Nope! I called pepper and put her on my back and trotted over towards the back door, Opening my grey wings and took flight into the dark midnight sky. I could hear my filly yawn on my back and soon fell asleep, I flapped my wings quietly not wanting to wake her. I know they will hunt me down until their hooves come off. I know that celestia might come her self and look for me, I tried to shake all of this stuff out of my dark mind. I found a spot far away from my cottage it was old abandoned Ursula Major cave. I flapped quietly into the cave onto a ledge inside the cave, And gently slid pepper off my back with my wing. I yawned and slept wrapping my wings around her, making sure she will be warm through out the night. I had horrid dreams, from all of this. I knew I had to do something. The dream awoke me, but luckily it was the morning. I unwrap my filly and stood, stretching and yawning. She also awoke. "Good morning my sweet filly." I say looking down at her rubbing my hoof on her blue mane. "Good morning mom." she says in reply. "Are you hungry?" I say knowing she might say yes. Every morning she eats all her breakfast. "Yes mother, I am hungry for some berry's." she says, I was sad because I knew there was no wild berry's around this part the only berry's that we can find are at ponyville. I did not want to take the risk I did last time, but my filly was hungry and a Mother cannot let her child starve to death... //-------------------------------------------------------// The risk. //-------------------------------------------------------// The risk. I knew I could not let my young filly die of hunger, it was risky. But I made the decision that I should go and buy some berry's, better yet... Steal them. "Come." I say picking her up with my gray wings and setting her on my back. I go into a flight position and take off. It does not take that long to get towards Ponyville from the Everfree forest. Most pony's don't come here because of my Legend and of Sombra's banishment here in the Everfree. We land by the shops. Once again, pony's are scared out of their wits. I go over where they sell their berry's, freshly picked. The salestallion gallops off, Ha!. What a chicken of a pony he is! I pick up the berry's with my magic and levitate them in front of me, I looked at the price for them. Meh, I was not going to pay for them so why even bother looking towards the price board? Even so, the prince was extremely high. I gave them to pepper and she grabbed them with her front hooves and we took off. "Mother." She asks while we are high into the sky."Yes pepper?" I start to answer her question "Why did you say that you were going to go with the guards but, you never did." She adds on to her unfinished question. I sigh. "That was a lie, pepper. I said a lie to those guards." I say flapping my wings against the cold wind, knowing that there will be a slight storm soon. "But why?" She asks once more. "Pepper, there are things in life that you must lie about, not always, but sometimes.." I say turning my head a little. We both soon get quiet, and before we even know we are both at the old Ursula Major cave we had stayed in for a while. And we both sit on the ledge. I know those pathetic guards are going to come find us, both here starving and cold. Celestia might even bring her beloved "Princess Twilight sparkle." And her friends... I keep running this thought in my head and I quickly swoop it away. Not wanting my curious yet smart filly to know, she already has enough stress on her now. I don't want to add more stress to her. She eats her berry's that I quickly stole from the market at Ponyville. No longer will I be a legend, But I will be a thief also... I think. How did I become a legend? I'm just a regular alicorn....
