"Forever, dude. Forever" said Vinyl Scratch as she put their friendship bracelet around each other's wrists.

"Yeah! Forever" said Lyra Heartstrings as she put the Friendship bracelet around Vinyl's wrist.

Vynil looked at her "Awesome! Lets go to class now" she said as the two friends ran over to their Social Studies class in room 121, three thick books in their hands.

"I think Mrs.Cadence will probably be upset about my second tardy" said Lyra worriedly as she opened the door to claas.

Vinyl swaggered in like there was absolutely nothing wrong with being late to her high school social studies class.

"Your late" said Mrs.Cadence in an annoyed tone as she stared at the two friends sit down in desks next to each other.

"Yeah sorry Mrs.Cadence me and Lyra were going over last night's homework" said Vinyl as she took off her violet sun glasses.

This was not entirely true. The girls had stopped by each others lockers(wich just so happened to be right next to each other) and had reveiwed each others homework quickly and then put on the new friendship bracelets that Lyra had gotten them.

"Very well but next time try not to take so much time" said Mrs.Cadence. She was going easy on them this time.

"Allright" said Lyra as she carefully slid her yellow backpack across the chair.

Vinyl passed a note to Lyra quickly while Mrs.Cadence had her back turned to the blackboard explaining something boring about the roman empires and stuff.

Lyra grinned at the note. It was a drawing of Rainbow Dash falling into a deep pit full of tarantula spiders. Rainbow Dash was mean to Lyra and Vinyl. She was a real show off too. She turned over the note and wrote something saying: 'I have a mega crush on Soarin' she wrote as she took out her red smelly marker and drew a heart around it. She was about to tap on Vinyl's dask to give it to her when she heard her name beinh called.

"Lyra? What are you doing young lady?"  said Mrs.Cadence as she snatched the note out of her hand.

Lyra flinched and stared up at her teacher.

"I have a mega crush on Soarin" she read aloud.

The whole class giggled and as for Soarin, his cheeks turned bright read as he looked over at Spitfire to make sure she wasn't laughing. Sure enough she was laughing her head off.

Lyra felt her face get hot. She knew Soarin  had a major crush on Spitfire,but she just couldn't help it. He was very handsome to her.

Mrs.Cadence turned the paper over, and examined the drawing. "Detention young lady" she said sternly.

"I MADE THE DRAWING OF RAINBOW DASH FALLING INTO A PIT OF SPIDERS" Vinyl blurted out.

The whole class erupted into loud laughter..Every one except Rainbow Dash who was fuming mad.

"Detention after school for you too Vinyl Scratch" said Mrs.Cadence as she shot them both annoyed glances. "You can also go explain this to Principal Celestia" she said as she wrote them both office passes and the note.

The two friends got their backpacks and slowly walked out of the room. As soon as they were far from the classroom they started laughing like there was no tomorrow.

"The drawing was like SO funny!" Said Lyra as she stopped by her locker to get all her books. Social Studies was their last class of the day and P.E was excused because of the extremely hot weather. So, they might as well get their books.

"I know right?! But we saved ourselves from massive loads of Geography homework" said vinyl still laughing,  as she put her glasses in her blue backpack.

"Principal Celestia will probably go easy on us if you do those puppy eyes that get us out of trouble all the time!" Exlaimed Lyra as she walked down the hall way.

"Wait up!" Said Vinyl as she ran to catch up to her friend.

"Now,girls. Your telling me that Vinyl drew a picture about a mean girl: Rainbow Dash and that Lyra passed a note saying who she had a crush on?" Asked Princess Celestia awkwardly.

Lyra nodded her head in agreement.

"Well. Yes you do deserve that detention" said Principal Celestia as she looked up and sighed.

Vinyl looked up there too but she didn't see anything. Teachers these days. So weird. She tought

"How many detentions have you girls had?" Asked Principal Celestia as she returned her gaze back to the two girls.

"One" Said Vinyl slowly.

"Zero" said Lyra resentfuly.

"I see..well you girls do desrve that detention" repeated the principal.

Vinyl took advantage and made some cute,puppy eyes.

"That isin't going to work today Vinyl" said Principal Celestia as she wrote them their detention slips.

Lyra and Vinyl looked at each other worriedly.

"Coach Armor is doing detention today" said Celestia as she handed them the slips.

Lyra sighed. "Okay" she said as she took the pass from Principal's Celestia's hand and started down to the detention room. Vinyl did the same as she walked alongside her friend.

They passed the ninth grade classrooms until they finally got to the detention room. School was over already and the place was buzzing with kids getting their bikes, or a few going to the parking lot to get their cars.

Vinyl opened the door for Lyra and herself as they walked in.

The room was empty with only a few dusty, old desks and Coach Armor sitting in a big desk looking at a computer.

Coach Armor turned his heads torwads the two friends. "What are you two here for?" He asked them.

"Passing notes" said Vinyl glumly as she plopped down on a desk.

"Coach Armor, you should know that I get us in trouble...but Vinyl gets us out of it"  said Lyra  slyly as a devilish smile spread across her face.

Vinyl smiled mischievously too as she dropped the bad girl act and switched from bad girl to innocent, sweet girl. She looked at coach with sad puppy eyes. "Coach,  may we please be exused this one detention?  It won't happen again!" Said Vinyl sweetly.

Coach Armor glanced over at her and sighed. "Just this once" he said sternly as he watched the two friends grab their backpacks and run off.

As soon as they were outside they high-fived each other.

"You can come over to my house and swim in my pool! Bring your bathing suit too!" Said Lyra enthusiastically.

"Awesome!"
