"OMG girls! We totally overslept!" Shrieked Lyra as she checked her alarm clock "My alarm clock wasn't plugged in!" Yelled Lyra.

"Its 7:45 now and school starts at 8:10! We have some time to comb our hair, brush our teeth and change into school clothes!" Said Octavia. As she put her sleeping bag inside her luggage bag and took out her toothpaste, toothbrush, hair comb and a School outfitt. All the other girls did the same.

Vinyl had on her purple leggings and blue T-shirt that she had worn as a pajama top last night with some dirty white hightops. Bon Bon hadn't been able to stay over for the night yesterday because she had a dentist appointment. Derpy and Octavia went with their other friends and to class that morning.

Vinyl and Lyra stopped by their lockers.

Vinyl took out her math books and so did Lyra. Miraculously they had both gotten the same class schedule.

The two of them ran go room 123 silently. They weren't late this time thank goodness!

Vinyl opened the door for Lyra and herself. They both walked in.

"Boys and girls! New seating today! This time you guys do not get to pick seats!" Announced Mrs. Fritters.

Lyra and Vinyl exchanged worried glances.

Lyra had ended up next to Applejack, infront of Bon Bon and behind Fluttershy in the second row.

Vinyl had an empty desk at her left,  to her right was Fast Flash, infront of her was Soarin and behind her was Caramel.

"Ladies and Gentlemen I would like you to meet our new student! He has just transferred from Manhattan! I expect you all to be kind to Neon Lights! Neon, you can go sit at the empty desk next to Vinyl and infront of Camel." Said Mrs.Fritter.

It wasn't hard for Neon to find an empty desk. He slung his backpack on his chair.

All the girls stared over at him and smiled flirtaciously.

"Hey. Im Neon Lights" whispered Neon to Vinyl as he stuck out his hand.

Vinyl set her sunglasses on her desk and shook his hand "I'm Vinyl Scratch" She said kindly.

He smiled over at her. "Nice shirt" he added.

Vinyl blushed "Thanks" was all she could manage to say.

"Allright you two! You can chat during recess!" Said Mrs.Fritter as she smiled over at Neon and Vinyl.

Lyra shot Vinyl a disapproved look.

Vinyl shot her one right back.

"Can someone tell me what 5×1,935?" Asked Mrs .Fritter. She scanned the room. No one raised their hands.

"Okay then. How about we watch a video about multiplication?" Asked Mrs.Fritter.

Everyone cheered. During those long videos no one paid attention exept the teacher. All the lights were off so the teacher couldn't catch them talking.

"Allrighty then" said Mrs.Fritter as she turned off the lights and put on a multiplication video on.

"So..Vinyl. Wanna hang out this lunch period? Asked Neon Lights slightly blushing.

"Sure! I'll just pass a note to my friend telling her to hang out with Derpy and Bon Bon" said Vinyl as she scribbled something on a peice of paper. She turned to Fast Flash who was playing a game on his phone. She tapped on his shoulder.

He turned to her and smiled "Yeah?" He ask whispered.

"Can you pass this to Big Mancitosh the Applejack then tell her to pass it to Lyra?" She asked sweetly.

"Sure,dude" he said as he got the note and gave it to Big Mac.

"Big Mac, pass this to Applejack and tell her to give it to Lyra" he whispered

"Eeyup" said Big Mac who was chatting with Fluttershy. He passed the note to Applejack "To Lyra" whispered to her.

"Okay then" whispered Applejack as she handed it to Lyra.

"From who?" Asked Lyra who was too busy chatting with Bon Bon.

Applejack shrugged, As she resumed chatting with her brother and Fluttershy.

Lyra opened the note and read it. She crumpled it up and shoved it in her desk. She was mad! It was bad enough that Vinyl was talking to Neon Lights during class but it was even worse that she was gonna be hanging out with him now!

Meanwhile, back to Neon and Vinyl..

"Do you have a texting number?" Asked Vinyl hopefully.

"Yeah. Add me on 'Hangouts' just add my Gmail: Neon.Lights.Ca@gmail.com He whispered to her.

"Ok cool..whats your profile picture?" She asked

"Just a picture of me and some of my music instruments" He said casually.

"Mine is just a shot of me and my brother playing wubs." She said.

Suddenly the Lunch bell rang.

"Allright everybody off to lunch!" Said Mrs.Fritter as everyone was up and out of their seats.

"So uh..do you wanna go to Starbucks and just um..hang out with me?" Asked Neon Lights slowly.

"On a date then?" Asked Vinyl knowingly.

"Um..yeah a date I mean.. if your fine with that" said Neon Lights blushing.

Instantly a crowd of girls formed around him.

"Hello. Im Rainbow Dash wanna go out sometime? "

"Hey. I'm Cherrie Jubilee and I'm single!"

"Hi I'm Rarity, Darling!"

"Ladies! I'm sorry. I already have a girlfriend!" Said Neon.

All of the girls murmured clearly upset and walked away.

"Im guessing that 'girlfriend' is me" said Vinyl.

"Yeah" said Neon.

"Lets go now! I'll take you in my car" said Neon as he held Vinyl's hand.

Suddenly Lyra bumped into them. She stared in disbelief. "VINYL!!!" She yelled.

"Woah! Im right here not way over at the other side of the World!" Said vinyl.

"Your stupid!" Said Lyra.

"Back at ya'"said Vinyl as she cracked her knuckles.

"I'm never gonna be your friend!!" Said Lyra loudly.

"Lyra? What happened to her?" Asked Vinyl.

"Bye" she Said as she walked away quickly.

"Were you friends with her?" Asked Neon as they both went into the parking lot.

"Yeah we used to but now she's all worked up about nothing" said Vinyl as she got in the passenger seat.

Neon got in the drivers side. "Lets roll" he said as they zoomed of to Starbucks.
