Flash-Bang is your usual new Lieutenant in the Grand Pegasus Enclave - quirky, harboring her own personal doubts about what she's been taught, and otherwise just wanting to get through the battle so she can get back underneath the covers with her marefriend. But when her then-commanding officer turns her rogue, she'll find that perhaps those doubts weren't as unfounded as she was led to believe.
