The Truth

          "Weeeee!!!" Scootaloo screamed as her dad pushed her higher and higher on the swing. "Higher daddy higher!" "Ok Scoots,you got it!" her dad chuckled as he pushed the swing higher. After it was dark,they went home.

"Ok Scootaloo its time for bed." Said her father as they went upstairs. He tucked her in her bed and said "Good Night Scootaloo!" as he left the room. Scootloo tried to fall asleep but she just couldn't. She had this feeling she was alone.

Where's mommy and daddy? I'll go see were they are. So she went up out of her bed to her parents room. She opened the door to find her parents gone. She noticed shimmering paper taped to the bathroom door. By the look of the paper design, it was obviously written by her mother.

Scootaloo walked over to the door and read the paper aloud  "Dear Scootaloo, me and your father have gone out to buy you a surprise. We will be back by sunrise. With lots of love, Mommy. After see finished reading, she heard a knock over the sound of raindrops pounding aginst the pavement.

Then she heard a voice through the door. "Scootaloo? It's me, Twilight, can you please let me in?" Twilight said in a uneasy tone.  "Sure!" Scootaloo said as she opend the door. Outside the door she saw a hurt look on Twilight face. "Look, Scootaloo.... y-your mom and dad are d-d-dead."

  Scootaloo stood there staring at Twilight. Then Scootaloo laughed "Hahaha you got me there Twilight! Nice prank!" Then Scootaloo realized Twilights dead serious expression. Then she started to stare again. She stared and stared for which seemed like forever. Then the first tear fell.

Scotaloo hugged Twilight tightly and burst out crying. Then she said "H-how." "Well um outside of the store.............they were killed by a mysterious pony." Twilight sniffeld.

"Twi, I wanna be left alone." scootaloo said as she ran upstairs. "Ok! Ill be here to watch you until they sell this house."
