A Whole New World

"Oh no! What happened?!"

Twilight rushed over to Scootaroll, who was gaping in shock.

"You....ah-you look like Dusk Shine." gasped Scootaroll.

"Du-Dusk Shine?" Twilight blushed at the name, "Why do you look like Scootaloo?" she asked.

"Don't know. We were kinda hoping you would tell us, though." Silver Bell rubbed his hoof on his leg.

"Of course! Follow me." Twilight went inside the wide open door, and all eight foals followed in after her. Inside the place was a mess, books were stacked everywhere or they were scattered on the floor.

"Forgive the mess." Twilight chuckled nervously, "I-I hadn't had a time to clean up yet."

"Oh, it's alright Twi." Apple Bloom nodded.

"Now, you four colts go over there-" Twilight pointed her hoof towards possibly the only clear space in the library, "-while I observe you."

"Ow! Watch my tail!" whined Silver Bell as Twilight looked over him.

"Oops. Sorry." apologized Twilight. The purple alicorn cleared her throat, "Now, due to my research I can conclude that some powerful magic beam was set off that caused you four to teleport to our universe, where everypony in your universe is the opposite gender."

"So...where basically them?" Apple Buck pointed a hoof at the four fillies across the room.

"Well, not exactly. It's complicated to explain, though." Twilight replied.

"How do we get back?" asked Brad Seed.

"I don't know. Depends on how powerful Silver Bell's magic was."

"It must've been quite powerful to teleport us here." Scootaroll said.

"But why were we teleported here and not them to our universe?" Apple Buck asked, pointing at the fillies once again.

"I don't know. There are some things that are different here and different thing in your world." Twilight shrugged, "I'll try and find a counter spell, I promise. In the meantime, you four and show them around Ponyville."

"Oh! Yes! It'll be so much fun!" squealed Sweetie Belle.

"Yeah...fun." grumbled Scootaloo.

"Um...I'm not so sure." Babs Seed rubbed the back of her head, "I mean, what about everypony else? We were already bothered by Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon."

Twilight thought for a moment, "How about we switch up your colors?" She suggested.

"Worth a shot." mumbled Scootaroll.

Twilight's horn glowed, "You four-" she beckoned the colts, "-stand over there." She pointed to a stack of books.

The four followed, and Twilight shot a beam from her horn, hitting the colts and lifting them up in the air.

A light followed and then Twilight's horn stopped glowing, dropping the four, all colts were different colors.

Applebuck, blue and black mane, black skin, and gray eyes.

Scootaroll, cherry-red mane, dark blue skin, and black eyes.

Silver Bell, brown mane with darkened tips, ivory skin, and purple eyes.

And finally, Brad Seed, white and light green mane, jade-green skin, yellow eyes.

Twilight looked up, her horn slightly burnt, and sighed in relief, "Thank Celestia it worked."

Brad Seed raised his eyebrow, "Who's Celestia?" he asked.

Apple Buck looked at his skin, "Oooh! Cool! Ah've always wondered what it would be like to be a different color!"

Scootaroll winced, "But I'm not my handsome colors anymore!"

Scootaloo rolled her eyes, "Because you were so handsome to begin with!" she sarcastically sighed.

Brad Seed narrowed his eyes, "Who's Celestia?" he asked again.

"Celestia is like the Solaris in your universe." Twilight explained.

"Thank you Miss-" Apple Buck began, but stopped, cocking his head, "What is ya name?"

"Twilight. Twilight Sparkle." the lavender unicorn answered.

"Twilight? You're that unicorn Dusk always talks about!" Silver Belle said.

"Wha-" Twilight's face was all red.

"You're even prettier than he said you were!" Silver continued.

"He-he said what?" Twilight blushed harder.

"Is Dusk the stallion you said was-" Sweetie Belle began, but Twilight put a hoof on her mouth.

"Bye! Thank you all for coming, I'll find a counter spell, I promise!" Twilight rambled, shoving all the foals out the door, then slamming it.

"That was...weird." Apple Bloom said, shrugging.

"Okay, so were do we go now?" Silver Belle asked.

"Sugar Cube Corner!"
