The last City is running on fumes. Fallen and Hive throw themselves against their walls relentlessly. Resources are few and far between. In the midst of this, a Titan and Hunter, both distrusting of Warlocks, (And Unicorns in general) are part of a two-pony Fireteam, and try to make do with their own lives, trying to preserve what's left of their own personalities. Another Fallen assault on the Last City nearly pushes them past their limit. Suddenly, their world is turned upside-down. Not only is a Warlock added to their Fireteam, but now the three of them are tasked with new orders. No longer are they to merely guard the wall, they are to be the spearhead that takes the fight to their foes. Now, having to learn to trust one another, as well as fight for their own survival, the three Guardians are forced to give the City something that they don't have much of themselves: Hope.
