~~On the Day of the Prosecution~~
"You should not have done that! That was a fool's decision! Repent your crimes and tell us where they have went! You will then be spared!"
Fluttershy was the first to speak."Never! I may be afraid of everything. I may be a coward in your eyes but I DO NOT betray my friends!"
"You are the fool here, Ace!" Pinkie scowled.
"And besides, we do not even know so you can just kill us. We will have no regrets following the ,ahem, 'corrupt one'" Rarity smirked.
The others nodded.
Ace shrugged."Suit yourselves."
The sun had finally risen and they were dragged to the torture room. As thy lay their heads there, the took one finally look of the sun. To the others, it was a new day. To them, it was the last sunrise they will ever see alive. They heard the sound of falling metal. Finally, the metal saw landed on their necks and blood was splattered. It was the end of three heroes' lives. The victory of a villain and the heartache and torture of four innocent ponies.
~~In a jungle outside of Equestria~~
Twilight woke up, expecting to be on the comfort of her bed. Instead, she was greeted by greenery.
"Ah!"Twilight shouted.
"Shhh. Don't you remember yesterday? We can not get caught!"Spike hissed.
"Sorry."Twilight replied. She then sighed sadly. Spike's face softened and told her that as long as nopony saw them, they would be safe.
"But they will never know the truth!"Twilight said in the loudest quiet.
"One day, they will but not now! Come on, let us wake the rest up."
Twilight nudged Rainbow and Applejack. They yawned. Their eyes widened for a while but soon realised what happened.
"Anyway, anyone hungry?" Twilight asked. Their attentions turned to a bull that was near them.
Twilight tried to electrocute it but failed. Applejack tried fighting it but instead, ended up with a black eye rather than a victory. Rainbow Dash tried circling it but got dizzy. Spike fought it too and failed. They were desperate. They do not know how to kill animals and the only pony that could gain its trust was dead.
"Argh! We will starve to death!"Rainbow Dash complained.
"Complainin' ain't gonna help Rainbow,"Applejack groaned.
Twilight's attention was brought to a long stick and a sharp of stone. She picked it up with magic and connected it with a vine that was not too far away. She lifted it up and killed the bull. The others were excited but Twilight shook her head.
We will get food poisoning so we might as well just run into Equestria shouting in front of Princess Luna's castle,'We are the corrupt ones! Arrest us! We will not escape!'"
Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Spike groaned, knowing that she was right.
"But we can not just light a fire, too!"Rainbow Dash pointed out.
They decided to look for some kind of shelter, artificial or natural. As long as it was safe. Also, there were dark clouds in the sky, signalling that it was going to rain. They looked around and saw a cave. They got some firewood and Spike lighted it up. As they ate their breakfast, which was also going to be their lunch and dinner, the saw the silhouette of some ponies. They hid in some covered areas of the cave. Ace and the me entered and luckily, did not spot them. Ace swore and Twilight smirked. They had won for the day. When they were gone. She sighed.
"This will be tough but I bet I will get used to it,"Twilight said. They decided that they will do their best, not just for themselves, but for the sacrifice of their friends to not be in vain.
~~4 years before~~
Twilight stared at the dead body of her master that lay in front of her.
"Princess.... Princess Celestia!!"Twilight exclaimed with tears dwelling up in her eyes. She heard the faint sound of the police wailing. The men arrived and were about to ask for her statement when a stallion, Ace, shouted that she killed Princess Celestia with her magic, resulting in a bloodless death. The young unicorn pleaded innocent yet the police ignored her, believing in the liar. They arrested her and brought her to Princess Luna for trial. Princess Luna was shocked yet angry.
"For your crimes, you shall be put to death!"Princess Luna exclaimed. Twilight was shocked, disbelieving in what had just happened. Anger boiled in her, overshadowing her logic that was telling her that the princess was desperate.
"You believe these liars!? I thought you knew better! I would never! You are a fool to believe these corrupt ponies!" Twilight retorted indignantly. The crowd whispered among each other. Twilight looked around the crowd in hopes of finding a supporter. She saw none. Suddenly, the lights was blown out. She felt six hooves pull her. When her eyes adjusted, she saw the three ponies, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Spike.
"Wait, where are the rest?" Twilight asked softly.
"They will be joining us soon. For now, hurry!"Rainbow Dash whispered. They were out of the castle when Ace lighted a torch. Ace noticed the other three and shouted,"Catch them!"
The crowd turned to the rest and caught them. Princess Luna ordered Ace to bring the torch near their faces. Princess Luna was shocked.
" Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy! What are doing? Are you letting the corrupt one escape!?"Princess Luna cried.
All three of them turned their heads to the princess and nodded.
"You will never catch them now! They have escaped!"Rarity declared.
"Yeah!"Pinkie and Fluttershy shouted in response.
Princess Luna's face turned to a disgusted one. "You will be severely punished for your crimes! As a matter of fact, I shall be put to death at the crack of dawn!"Princess Luna declared."And to every other pony, any other pony that helps her shall suffer the same fate!"
"What about Twilight and her friends?" Ace asked.
Princess Luna nodded,"Her accomplices shall not be punished for now for they have escaped. They shall be punished along with Twilight. They are banished from this land. Then, we shall play Hide and Seek! But in a more harsh way. For as long as those 'hiders' are out of our sights, they are safe. However, if we find them, Twilight shall die! Her accomplices will be my new servants"
Ace smirked and bowed."This will be fun!" He thought to himself.
"Wherever you are, we will find you! You shall be banished"
From far away, Twilight and her friends heard what Princess Luna shouted. With heavy hearts and tears in their eyes, they ran away from Equestria and to the unknown, playing this twisted game of Hide and Seek.
