I'm sitting at my computer, trying to think of something, ANYTHING to write. "Hmm maybe if I take Luna and... No, thatd never work. Maybe something with twilight? No...' I slam my hands on the keyboard in frustration. "What the hell is wrong with me?! I know the series like the back of my hand, yet I can't think of even one feasible idea?! Come on Shawn, get your head in the freaking game!"

I had always wanted to try wrting MlLP fanfiction, ut I could never think of anything worth writing. This was just the most recent in a long string of failed attempts. After another hour of fruitless thinking, I shut down my computer and head off to bed.

As I'm lying there, drifting off to sleep, I couldn't help but think to myself. "If only I can just visit Equestria, actually see it with my own eyes. See the characters and get to know them first hand.' I scoff at the very idea of it. "Yeah right, like it was even possible. Even if it was, why would anyone send a nobody like me there?' These are my last thoughts before I drift off to sleep.

In my dreams, I'm surrouded by dark emptiness. I look around, trying to get my bearings. "What is this place?' I aks aloud, but to no one in particualr.

'The nexus between worlds.' and all to familiar voice answers.

I turn towards the voice to see Princess luna approaching. "P-princess Luna? What are you doing here? Wait, this has to be a dream.' I say.

"that it is, but that doesnt make me any less real than you.' she says.

"But h-how can this be? Your a cartoon character.' I tell her.

"Yes, in your world I am. But there are an infinite number of universes. Who's to say that equestria isnt real in one of them?' she asks.

"Uh, well... I guess that makes sense. But why have you graced me with your presence? Thats not to say I'm not glad to see you. It's quite the contrary, really.' I say, chuckling nervously.

"you can relax, Shawn. I won't bite. I've come to make you an offer.'

"What kind of offer?"

"Well, I picked up on your wish before you went to sleep. How badly do you want it to happen?' she asks.

My eyes widen to the size of dinnerplates. "Wait a second. You mean...?'

"Yes, I'm offering you a chance to see equestria firsthand. To get the inspiration you want. And apparently so desperately need. What say you?" she asks.

I didn't even have to think about it. "Yes, please! Take me there!" I begged.

She raises a hoof up to silence me. "Hold on, there are a few rules we need to go over first."

I calm down a bit."I'm all ears. Whatever it takes."

"rule number 1: each nightafter you fall asleep, you will be brought here before me. You will then tell me who you want me to send you to. after which you can do what you want with them.'

"anything at all?"

"within reason of course. However, if you force them to do anything they're not willing to, you will NEVER be allowed to return. Do I make myself clear?' she asks.

"Clear as crystal.'

"Good. Now, rule number 2: when you are sent there, you will get 24 hours to do as you please. at which time, you will be sent back.' she says.

"i guess that makes sense. I cant be there 24/7.' I say, chuckling.

"And finally, each time you are sent back, you must write down everything you see and do, not leaving out any details.' she says.

"I guess that is fair."

"Ok, now that we have an understanding, who would you like me to send you to?' she asks.

"So, it can really be anyone at all?" I ask, blushing a bit.

"Yes, anyone youve seen in the series."

"What if I said the one I wanted first, was you?' I ask.

"What, me?" she asks, looking rather stunned.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought it up.' I quickly retract, thinking I've offended her somehow.

"Well now, hold on. I didn't flat out say no, did I?' she asks, trying to calm me. "After all, I did say anyone. I'm just curious as to why.'

"well, to be honest, I always thought you were kinda cute." I say, shuffling nervously.

She smiles, moving closer. "Well, its nice of you to say so." she says, nuzzling up against me. "Exactly what did you have in mind?' she asks.

'Well first, maybe we should go to your room, where we can get more comfortable.' I tell her.

"Sounds good to me.' she says, smirking as everything around us starts warping and twisting. Once it stops, we soon appear in her room, sitting on her bed. "Now, what would you like to do?' she asks.

"Well, I was kinda thinking we could uh, fool around? Unless you dnt want to I mean.' I say, blushing heavily.

"Hey hey, no need to be embarassed. I'll let you in on a little secret. I haven't gotten any action in at least 1000 years. I'd welcome it, honestly.' she says, blushing.

"Now look whos embarassed.' I say, teasing her a bit.

"Hey!' she says, giving me a playful punch in the arm.

"Ah, I'm just messing with you.' I say, running a hand gently along her back.

"Ooh, that feels nice. she says, shivering slightly. "But enough of the teasing. Take me already.' she orders.

This is my first ever fanfic, and I couldnt be more nervous.I'm sorry for cutting this one short before the good part, but I at least need to see if its a worthwhile story before continuing. Otherwise, til all have been for naught. If any of you have any advice on how to improve, please tell me, it'll be a great help.'
