Winona and Opal have been hanging out with each other since Rarity and Applejack have seen each other often now. Since the two pets have been hangng out with each other, they're starting to like each other.
The two pets soon find each other attractive. Having a relationship is already hard enough, but also the fact that the two are trying to hide it, is even harder.

Rarity arrived at Sweet Apple Acres to see Applejack like they always do. Opal walked beside her on her jewl-encrusted leash. "Purr." Opal said. Rarity felt Opal nuzzle her leg. She smiled, but smiled even more when Applejack came out of the barn. "Hello, A.J!" Rarity greeted. "I brought Opal.." Applejack smiled. "That's great! Winona's been waitin' to see Opal." She moved aside and showed Winona. Winona ran over to Opal, Opal nudged Winona's cheek.

Rarity and Applejack walked over to a nearby tree to talk. Winona looked to see if they were a safe distance away. "Yup, now we can talk." Winona said. "Oh, good. I wonder what they would do if they found out we could speak.."

Winona walked over to Opal, and put her tail around Opal's. "So, how was your day? Did Rarity have you 'asist' her with her dresses today?" Winona sat closer to the cat. "No. She was too excited to do any of that, which I am greatful for." Opal replied before licking her paws. "And how was your day on the farm?" Opal nudged Winona's muzzle. "Excersising.. everything I usually do, I guess.." Opal whispered into Winona's ear- " Did you dress nice for me?" Opal started giving Winona little kisses on Winona's cheek.

Winona blushed. "Yes.." Opal nudged her. "It's weird. You know we're both... girls.." Winona added. Opal just looked deep into Winona's eyes. "I don't CARE if we're both girls, I still LOVE YOU!" Opal assured her giving Winona tiny kisses on her forhead. Winona blushed. "I LOVE YOU TOO.." Winona grabbed a cat toy beside her and presented it to Opal. "For me?!" Opal looked at Winona, Winona nodded and blushed.

Opal began to play with the cat toy. It was a mouse. "Don't go thinking I didn't get you something!" Opal stopped playing with the mouse, and pawed Winona a bone. Winona licked her lips and took it out of Opal's paws. "Opal, you're awesome! You gave me 2 gifts!" Opal looked confused. "2?" "Yeah, the bone, and... Winona stopped and moved closer to Opal and whspered into her ear- "And the kisses.." Opal blushed. "Hey, I love you, so there!" Opal giggled.

Winona looked at Opal and kissed her on the cheek. "Opal?" Winona asked after finishing her kiss. "Yes?" Opal replied. Winona blushed. "I was just wondering... if you'd... like to go out on a date?" Opal's eyes widened. "I'd..I'd.." Winona got ready for the laughing to start, but Opal didn't laugh. She blushed and answered Winona's question- "I'd LOVE TO!!" Opal hugged Winona tight. "Easy, girl?" Rarity replied. Opal knew it was time to go. Opal whispered, "Is sven alright, tomorow?" Her owner answered the question on her own. "See you tomorow, at seven, Applejack!" Winona nodded. It was settled.

The time was bold in Opal's mind.

It was Winona's first date, so she was a nervous wreck. She had some dresses that Opal made her, since Rarity wasn't the only one in the family who could make dresses. Winona looked amoung the three. "Ohh.. Which would she like best?.." Winona walked circles around the pile of dresses. Winona finally decided on a fine yellow gown.

She felt awkward in a dress, but she wore it for Opal. Winona climbed on top of Applejack's bed to check the time. 6:45. Winona rushed out of the room, and out the farm door, to get flowers for her loving date. "She'll love these!" Winona said picking some roses and tossing them in her basket. "Oh, I also need shoes!" Winona ran inside the barn once more.

Opal was just getting her newly designed dress on. It was white, a very bright white, so it could glow in the dark. It's laces sparkled. She lifted herself off the ground to see how she looked in the mirror.

"Oh, my! She'll LOVE it!" Opal cried out cheerfully. Opal saw what she needed. "Shoes! Shoes! Can't forget about the shoes!" Opal ran over to the side of the room where her closet was. She picked a glimering pair of high heels. "Will she like these?" Opal asked herself. Opal looked at the time. 6:51. Next Opal quickly put on a sparkly pair of glooves, then grabbed some flowers from her vaces. "She'll like.. both!" Opal grabed the flower in the vase and then Rarity came downstairs.

Winona expected Applejack to come downstairs by now. "Where is she?.." As if on command Applejack rushed downstairs. She got an eyeful of Winona. But Applejack didn't have time to question. She rushed out the front door of the barn and plopped herself down under their tree.

Rarity ran across the feilds. "APPLEJACK!! I'M... HERE!!" Opal nearly fainted when she saw Winona. They walked over to a quiet spot. 7:00. "You look, GOREGOUS!!" Opal complemented. "Hey, you look prettier. Opal looked her in the eyes and said- "Nope! you are!" Winona stopped the conversation for a second, and picked up a baunquet of roses. "For me?!" Opal cuddled her roses. "I got YOU something too!" Opal assured Winona.

Opal picked up the flower in a vase, and pawed it over to Winona. "WOW! It's... awesome!" Both pets blushed. Opal took a sip nervously. Then went over to Winona, and kissed her on the cheek. Winona blushed then kissed Opal back.

Winona and Opal looked each other in the eyes. They went close to each other. Once they were face to face, Winona dove in and kissed Opal on the lips. Opal kissed Winona back. This was their first real kiss. It was only a ten second kiss, but the two pets flet like it was ten minutes. They both blushed once they let go.

Rarity giggled as she gave Applejack back her hat. "See you tomorow, A.J!" Rarity called out walking towards Opal. "See you then.." Opal said romanticly before getting scooped up by Rarity. Winona didn't have to go inside, and all she could think of was..

When I'll see her again...

Winona imagined Opal's lips on hers, couldn't that kiss have gone on a little longer?

I'm Going to Miss you..

Winona stood around walking in circles, thinking. "Where are they?!" Winona was worried, they'd usually be here by now. "NO! If Rarity doesn't come then... No Opal.." Winona shed a single tear until Rarity came into veiw. Her ears perked up as she saw Opal. "OPAL!!" Winona cried, but to Rarity, it was just a bark. "WINONA!!" The pets ran over to each other. "I'm so happy I made it!" Opal said nuzzling Winona's nose.

Winona kissed Opal on her cheek. "Why were you late?" Opal looked down sad. Winona cuddled up to her. "We got a new pet.." Winona looked up. "What kind?!" "Dog.." Winona stopped. Opal looked up. "I won't be able to see you.. for a week." Opal started to cry softly. Winona was sad too. "But.." Winona howled loudly. Opal nuzzled Winona.

"I'll miss you.." Opal cried out as she twisted her tail around Winona's. "I'll miss you too.." Winona said as she kissed Opal on her forhead. The two pets sat speachless for a minute. Then Rarity was heard. "See you, next week, Applejack!" Rarity walked over to Opal and picked her up. "Say goodbye to your friend!" Rarity said and walked away. "Bye.." Opal replied as tears flowed out of Opal's eyes.

Once her and Rarity were away from the farm, Opal cried softly.

I'll miss you..

Once Opal and Rarity were off farm property, Winona howled out, hoping Opal would hear her message

"Couldn't we have kissed one last time?.."

Opal heard Winona's howling and cried harder.

"I miss you.."

Winona looked around feeling empty inside.
