I want to tell you all that this story is not a "Hello I am Marry Sue" Story. All I will bring into this story is my knowledge of the first 4 seasons and The Equestria Girls movie. As well as bring a few story elements from a few fanfics I read here. I guarantee this is pure me. Please critisize me but don't slam my work. This is my first story . So I ask of the brony Community LOVE AND TOLERANCE. please enjoy

Chapter 1: What the he-hey
I went to bed tonight exhausted after packing up and watching some My Little Pony Fan Fiction and fell asleep watching it. I then started to dream about MLPFIM which I do every now and then. But when I woke up the next morning from my dream. To a nightmare. I found myself waking up on the outskirts of the Everfree Forest. I told myself I was still dreaming. So I walked around the forest when I came upon a grey wolf. Not sure why but I asked it "Excuse me miss wolf. Can you help me find Zecora's Hut. I think I need some help." The wolf tilted her head as if she understood and lead me to Zecora's Hut. Still believing I was dreaming I walked up to the door of the hut. Quietly my heart I began to believe that I was truly awake but my mind would not accept that. I knocked on Zecora's door. Once again my heart assterted that this was a little too real to be a dream. But my mind stubbornly refused to believe it to be so and argued "All this is, is a relly,really, REALLY vivd dream.
This world doesn't exist. It CANNOT exist." After I knocked a second time I heard a rustling from inside. My mind determined to prove my heart wrong said "I'll prove it to you when Zecora answers I will greet her like I always do in my dreams when they invovle her. She knows my name." Then Zecora answered the door and I said plesantly " Good moring Zecora." She looked at me and replied "I see you know me. But I can't say I know you too!" My heart sank and gloated "Told you this was real!" My stomach knotted with fear. This world IS real. I really am in Equestria. I panicked and promptly fainted much to the Zebra's surprise at her front door. I awoke in Zecora's hut it felt like I was out for at least 2 hours. My fears returned full force. I am still in this world and it was most certainly not a dream. Before I could scream in terror.
Zecora spoke "I see you are awake and it looks like you might see me as a fake." I silently nodded not trusting myself to even open my mouth for fear a shriek of terror might escape. I started to believe I was going mad.
I finally spoke after a few moment so quietly I could have given Fluttershy a run for her bits "M-my n-name is M-Mitchell. I am not entirely sure how I got here. One minute I am asleep in my bed next minute I awake in the Everfree Forest and honestly I don't want to know how. All I really want rightnow is to go home and pretend that this is all a very very vivid dream."
Zecora smiled consolingly "I see you feel like a lost soul. Far from the world you know." I looked at her confused I never really understood the Zebra's rhyming talk. "How do I get home." I asked plantively my voice still trembling.
My mind was still trying to process the fact that I was really in a world ruled by and run by ponies. Zecora nodded solemnly and spoke "I see you are scared now you know you are not in the world you cared."
I nodded I then asked shakily "Is there anypony I can talk to about my situation?"
Zecora nodded "Yes you seek Twilight Sparkle the meek Alicorn that has connections you seek." I nodded and was about to leave when Zecora called "Take my cloak you silly colt. this is not the weather for what your attire is." I nodded and took the black cloak she gave me. I put it on and immediately felt warm and for some reason safe in its velvety embrace. Zecora smiled and I left.
I was once again greeted by the grey shewolf. I shrugged and asked again "Miss wolf can you help me out of the Everfree Forest to a road I can take to Ponyville?" Once again the wolf cocked her head at me and started to guide me out of the Everfree Forest. The only thing I could think was "Well what the hel..er..hey."

Chapter 2: I need your Help
I left the Everfree Forest and thanks to my wolf guide I was on the dirt road that lead to Ponyville. I turned and looked back at the wolf and said truly grateful for her help "Thank you miss wolf. You have been a big help. Maybe we can meet again under better circumstances." The she wolf barked and wagged her tail and re-entered the Everfree Forest again. I followed the dirt road to I came upon the entrance of Ponyville. I took a deep breath and entered the slightly busy town. I walked through the streets of Ponyville and walked towards the big Oak tree I recognized from the tv show. It was Golden Oaks Library and home to the Alicorn Princess Twilight Sparkle. I knocked on the door te tell Twilight had a visitor. To my surprise although I shouldn't have been the pony that opened the door was not Twilight nor was it a pony per ce was a little purple and green dragon. "Spike I presume. Can you please tell Twilight that a lost and scared soul wishes for her help."
Spike was shocked that another human knew his name in Ponyville. "Sure." he replied "Come in ....er...."
I took his meaning I supplied "My name is Mitchell."
He nodded "...er...right come in." I entered the library and was nearly given a heart attack because right after Spike closed the door behind me he shouted up the staircase "Twilight you have another human here to see you. He says his name is Mitchell."
I never knew that such a little dragon had such a loud voice. Then from the darkness of the second floor of the library a young but not so young mare voice I knew all to well from the show answer in surprise "Another human!!" Twilight shouted down in shock. As I saw the purple Alicorn with the star Cutie Mark on her flank came rushing down the stairs. After a second I was face to face with Twilight Sparkle. I then remembered she was indeed a princess I bowed deeply to her. Twilight took notice of my show of respect. She was surprised that this human knew that she was Royalty. She also knew that this human wasn't the one that was Rainbow Dash's human father. No this human was younger and even though he bowed she saw from my demeanor that I was terrified that I was here and in effect lost. Twilight smiled politely and in a voice full of concern "How can I help you ...er...Mitchell was it."
I nodded. I looked up tears in my eyes. I then spoke shakily "Excuse me your highness Twilight. I woke up here this moring and Zecora said you could help me get home, To Earth."
Twilight gave me a questioningly look then asked "How did you get here in the first place?"
I answered honestly "I don't know I just woke up in the Everfree Forest this morning. I have no idea how I got here. Please can you help me? I begged openly crying now.
Twilight's heart broke at my problem and said comfortingly "I don't think I can help you. But I can ask Princess Celestia maybe she can help you." She turned to Spike and spoke "Spike take a letter for Princess Celestia."
Spike nodded and produced a quill, ink, and a piece of parchment then said "Ready when you are Twi." Twilight spoke and Spike began to write:

Dear Princess Celestia,
Your faithful student,
When Spike finished the letter. He rolled it up and sent it off in a blast of green flames. A few moments later Spike belched out another parchment and gave it to Twilight. She took it in her purple magic and unfurled it and read aloud its contents:
Dear Twilight Sparkle,
Your Mentor,
After Twilight finished reading the letter I dissovled into tears again and began to cry broken heartedly as the realization hit me. I was now forever trapped in Equestria with no hope of returning home ever again. Twilight looked at me tears in her eyes now she walked up to me and placed her wing around me in a comforting way. She then spoke her voice heavy with regret "I am so sorry Mitchell. I really thought she could help. But welcome to Equestria. We need to go see The Princess she can help you settle in.

Chapter 3: Welcome To Equestria
I was on the verge of panic. For two reasons, first I was about to meet Princess Celestia one of the Princesses who ruled here. Second I now know I wasn't ever going home. Oh I hope my pets are okay. I had 2 cats on earth and I loved them dearly.
Later that day I was in Canterlot with Twilight. We had teleported and it was a stomach turning experience. When we arrived there I ran to the nearest garbage can and I retched into it. All the while Twilight watched me in mild amusement. Oh how I loathed her right at that moment. Then Twilight spoke apologetically "Sorry about that Mitchell. I forgot you have never teleported before. I should have told you that it is a nausiating experience for first timers."
I glowered at her and spoke shakily but from nausia not fear "Why didn't we just take the train. I am sure Princess Celestia could have waited for 2 hours for us as we took the train here instead of teleporting."
Twilight nodded then spoke "Your the second Human in Equestria and I thought that it was required we got here A.S.A.P. I know Princess Celestia wants to speak with you immediately." With that we continued on towards Canterlot castle. Twenty minutes later we were shown to the throne room to be presented to Princess Celestia. My first impression I got from Princess Celestia was she seemed happy that yet another human was in Equestria.
She smiled at me in a welcoming way. But then she then noticed I was scared. Her smile then turned to a concerned frown. She suddenly realized I didn't want to be here because I was looking everywhere but at her. Princess Celestia then spoke in a soft and loving voice that I have no choice but to look upon the regal beauty "Welcome to Canterlot castle Mitchell and more importantly, welcome to Equestria. I am sorry you are here with us. Sadly I can't send you home."
I said sadly "So I am trapped here." Then as an afterthought "Your Majesty." She WAS a Princess, I DO have manners.
Celestia smiled at me benignly. After what felt an eternity, she spoke softly to me "Though it grieves me to say this but yes. You are now and forever a denizen of Equestria with all the rights and privledges as any of my subjects. I am truly sorry that you can never go home. Prey,tell me you won't be leaving anything or anypony special behind would you?"
At this I cried and replied between my tears and sobs "As a matter of fact, yes, Your Majesty, I HAVE left something behind. I left my 2 pet cats on Earth. Their names are Oliver and Mixie and I do so love them dearly. In fact, Oliver was with me for 5 years and Mixie for 2 years. I worry about them because now that I am trapped here and can't take be with them."
Celestia listened to me in earnest then she called the purple Alicorn to her side and spoke to her in a hushed whisper and I saw Twilight's eyes widen. Of course I didn't care what they were talking about. I slipped back into my meloncholy silence. My mind looking back on my memories I had with my cats. I continued to cry silently.
After a 5 minute conversation with her prized student they both looked at me their minds set upon the task in front before Celestia spoke up and snapped me back to the here and now and out of my memories of my cats. "Mitchell I see you grieve for your loss and my pupil." She pointed her horn at Twilight "And I want to ask if your stay here will be comfortable here if we brought your cats here with you in Equestria?" She questioned.
My heart raced "Can she really be that powerful to bring me my cats." I thought hopeful. But then I got suspisous. I then spoke darkly "Wait! are you telling me you cats here but you can't send me home. How is that logical?"
Celestia sighed and spoke "The reason for that is simple. We Alicorns can only bring things INTO Equestria but we can't rutrn those who show up back because the rules of our world is that once you are now a denizen or 'trapped' as you say here because our world has already adopted you as a resident. Even if you don't want to be here. Furthermore if we tried to send you back you would most likely die. Also..." She said that 'also' gave me a shiver because it was full of remorse and guilt "...Also as soon you entered our realm your life on Earth, your world has already deleted you from its existance and all you past, family, present, friends, or your possible future there has been deleted. Simply put now you are here and belong now to our world. Also your memories will disappear. Any memory you have or had on your world will disappear. I can see the effects already taking ahold of you. So I ask you again before you lose your memories about your cats. Would your life here be more plesant if we gave you back your pets.
I was shocked at her explaination that all I could do was nod. Then a glow of purple and gold and out of nowhere my 2 cats appeared before me they looked terrified at suddenly being here. Mixie bolted the first hiding spot in the throne room. It was under Celestia's throne. Although Oliver terrified as he was he just laid there. What else could he do he is an old cat. I smiled with gratitude towards the now two tired Alicorns. "Thank you both Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia. You have no idea how happy I am now that I have my pets back."
Celestia smiled and was about to speak when I heard the throne room door opened then closed. I looked back to the door to see who had just entered. It was yet another Alicorn except she was the color of the deepest black with a dark blue mane waving in a nonexistant wind like Celestia's. I gulped and and bowed I knew who this pony was. She was the Princess of the Night, Princess Luna and sister to Princess Celestia.
Luna looked at me with a mix of a shock and amusement. I blushed, I felt weird feeling just looking upon her. Much like a feeling I had so long ago with an ex-girlfriend whose name I can't remember "What the hell!" I thought "Why can't I remember her name." Then Celestia's voice floated over in my memory. Was this what she meant about me losing my memories. I guess she wasn't kidding. But this weird feeling was very familiar. Then it hit me I was crushing on Princess Luna. This feeling shocked me. These feelings are wrong for 2 reasons. First and most obvious She was an Alicorn and I am a human. Secondly Luna was royality and for all intents of purpose I am a commoner. So it wouldn't work out between us. "But still......."
I was brought back when Luna spoke "Sister I felt a great surge of power a moment ago are you okay."
Celestia sighed " I am fine, sister. I cast a spell with Twilight to give this poor human, Mitchell is it? I nodded. Celestia continued "To bring back him, his most prized possessions his pets." Celestia nodded to Oliver and pointed her horn to throne where Mixie still hid. Then she looked back at me then to Luna with a sly smile and spoke again "And it appears that he is impressed with you Lulu if you know what I mean."
I gasped hiding my now seriously blushing face in my hands. How did she know what I was thinking about. I whispered " This is soooo embarrassing."
Then Celestia spoke again still smiling "But it appears he doesn't know if he should give in to his feelings or try to hide behind a spieces stereotype that would prevent him from confessing to thee.?"
I cursed myself silently for telling her and Luna my thoughts through my actions. What am I going to do.
It finally dawned on Luna what her sister just said and then Luna blushed. She knew Celestia knew about her taste in mates. She once tried to court the other human Bryan, I think his name was. Rainbow Dash's human father. She was rejected by him. he told her that he wasn't interested in having a marefriend but if he did he would consider her. Now there was another human has appeared in Equestria this was too good to be true.
Luna remembered when she first saw him. When he first arrived in Canterlot with Twilight Sparkle. Luna saw that this human was scared about being here but nevertheless she giggled as a school filly. From where she was watching them. It was from her balcony. After they teleported here he ran for the nearest garbage can he could find and got sick in it before they entered the palace most likely to see her sister. She then thought "I might get lucky with this human." But just as the thought passed through her mind. She felt a massive surge of power that shook her out of her fantasy and came to see why. Now she knew apparently Twilight and Celestia cast a spell to bring back Mitchell's cats.
Luna snapped out of her reviere as Celestia spoke to Mitchell again and asked "Mitchell where would you want to live here in Equestria?" Celestia smiled deviously "In the castle with us. I'm sure Luna wouldn't mind." She smiled at Luna. Luna blushed but secretly she hoped he would say yes. Celestia spoke again "Or in the city of Canterlot or in Ponyville with my student Twilight and her friends the other Elements of Harmony. Luna looked at the human expectantly.
After Celestia returned my pets and had fun at Luna's and my expense. She asked me where I wanted to live. At the mention of me living in the Castle I noticed that Luna was excited that I might live in the castle. But why would she be I don't have a royal background and in effect a stranger to this realm. Plus there was the obvious fact that I am a human in a world run, ruled, and consisted of nothing but Equines. The second option was to live in the city of Canterlot. At this I noticed that Luna was crestfallen but still hopeful. Again I asked myself "why?" The third option was Ponyville with Twilight and her friends the 'other Elements of Harmony'. I knew what Celestia meant by that sentence. Because of the show I watched in my world. Weird I managed to remember everything pony related. But I was slowly forgetting everthing else about my world. I think that was Celestia's doing. I think she wanted me to feel as if I belong here in Equestria. I felt grateful. I asked Princess Celestia "Where do You think I should go Princess Celestia? Where do you think I will be safe and fit in?"
Celestia smiled this human had no idea what he just did by asking her where he should go. He just gave himself over to her rule and her decision. As of that moment she saw him as one of her loyal subjects not just as a human lost in her realm but another pony in her kingdom loyal to her. Another pony for her to love and care for. Now she saw why her sister was so interested in him and who was she to disagree with the rules of the heart. I spoke "ARISE MITCHELL, IS IT TRUE YOU ASK ME OF MY OPINION OF WHERE YOU SHOULD LIVE IN MY KINGDOM!!" She knew Mitchell's answer but she wanted him to swear himself to her. All her subjects swore an oath of loyalty to her.
I was awestruck when Princess Celestia asked me that question I knew enough about royalty that she was asking me to swear an oath of loyalty to her. So I arouse just like Celestia commanded me I looked into her eyes and said "I, Mitchell swear my undying loyalty to the Princesses of the Sun & Moon that I will be a loyal citizen of Equestria and surrender Myself to the rule of the diarchy. I am here to serve."
Celestia looked at me proudly as I swore my life and loyalty to Luna and Celestia as if I were to become a knight. She smiled and said "MITCHELL I WHOLLY ACCEPT THINE INTO MY AND MY SISTER'S SERVICE AS OF THIS POINT YOU ARE NO MORE THE HUMAN, MITCHELL BUT ONE OF MY LITTLE PONIES AS A DIFFERENT RACE OF PONY. MITCHELL YOU ARE ONE OF MY LOYAL SERVENTS. SHOULD YOU NEED ANYTHING, ANYTHING AT ALL DON'T HESISATE TO ASK MY HELP. I ALWAYS EXTEND A HOOF OF FRIENDSHIP TO ONE OF MY SUBJECTS IN THEIR TIME OF NEED." She finished in her royal regal Canterlot Voice. She then said normally "I think you should live in Ponyville with Twilight and her friends. I will set you up with a cottage, bits, and food for you. I will give you a job of becoming my most prized pupil's guardian and protector of all the Elements of Harmony in other words you are going to help me watch over Twilight and her friends. I will pay you myself for doing that job personally do you accept my judgements."
I nodded after Princess Celestia told me what she was going to do for me. "Although my ears will be ringing for at least a week after I heard Celestia's Royal Canterlot Voice." I thought dazed. Nevertheless I nodded and said "As my Princess commands."

Luna smiled at this and felt upset to know he was going to go live in Ponyville with Twilight and her friends as their sword and shield and getting paid directly from Princess Celestia. She admitted she was jealous. she then chuckled slyly. "I know what I can do. I will forge a sword and some armor very ornate but functional. After all I am the best forgemistress in all of Equestria. This will show my interest in him as a possible marefriend." she thought. she know Celestia took notice of her intentions because when she looked back at her sister and she was smiling approvingly. She always had my best interests in mind. She was also gave her an encouraging smile as if to say "You have my blessing to pursue your crush and maybe he will finally love you the way you want him to." Luna smiled there is one special way she could see if he would grow to care for her and she doubted he knows that she can enter the dreams of everypony and observe what their subconscious wants and desires. Guess what she look forward to seeing and observing and if needed interfere with his dreams. She look forward to tonight Luna smiled.

Celestia noticed what Luna had planned she smiled and thought "I see nopony else deserves the happiness and love than my sister and from what I witnessed from Mitchell's reaction when Luna entered the throne room. I see nopony else that deserves the love I know Luna can give him." Celestia turned and spoke to Twilight and Mitchell. "Would you like to stay overnight until tomorrow that way Twilight can set up your home."
Of course Celestia knew what Twilight would say. Twilight shook her head and answered "No thank you. I need to go back to Ponyville and prepare it for his arrival. Plus I need to find Mitchell a suitable home to live in. I'll send you a letter when I find him a home." Celestia nodded. Then Twilight bowed and took her leave.
Celestia turned to Mitchell "Well how about you Guardian."
As soon as I heard that title I nodded and replied "I will stay Your Majesty. Thank you for your hospitality and for what you gave me. This human is humbled." I lowered my eyes only to have my head brought up to look Princess Celestia in the eyes because of her magic.
Princess Celestia smiled and spoke "As of now you are not a human. You are one of my little ponies who I love and protect. Though you may look different and here is your proof. Look on the back of your hands. I think this will prove you belong here."
I looked curiously at my backs of my hands. I gasped in shock and awe. On the backs of my hands I saw a picture on them. It was a Cutie Mark. I was surprised "I guess in Equestria even humans can get Cutie Marks. That's a new one on me. In all the fan fiction I read that invovled humans in Equestria. They never got Cutie Marks." I smiled "Wow I guess even I had a destiny here. But for the life of me I had no idea what it is." I looked closely at the new marks on my skin. It was a shield with crossed swords. Etched on the shield's surface were 5 of the six Elements of Harmony. I looked above the shield and saw a the crown hovering between the hilts was the sixth Element of Harmony, Magic. I looked back at Celestia and asked "I didn't know you are able to bestow a Cutie Mark on anyone."
Celestia smiled and shook her head and replied "I didn't I saw a flash of light the moment you swore your loyalty to me and my sister. Hoestly you are very unobservant. You need to start to pay attention to your surroundings more not just what is in front of you." I nodded feeling that I just got slapped on the face for being oblivious.
I mumbled "Sorry Princess I'll try to be more observant and actually pay attention to my surrounding better." Celestia smiled
Celestia then spoke "Now go with Luna she will give you a tour of our Castle." I blushed but Celestia spoke again "Don't worry you are in safe hooves." I nodded still blushing I went to Luna's side. Before we left Celestia spoke again " Oh and Mitchell I request that you learn to talk Equestrian. Luna will teach you how." I nodded and left with Luna.

After Mitchell and Luna left Celestia said to herself "I see big things in your future, for Equestria, and for....." Celestia allowed herself to smile and continued "....and my sister. I hope your are prepared." Celestia smile broadened and thought "He is. Everything is going according to plan. I know Luna will prepare him. But for now let him remain oblivous to the fact that it was I who brought him here. He needs to get used to being in our world. In time I will reveal his destiny to him." Celestia left the throne room.

Chapter 4: Learning with Luna
As I left the throne room with Luna. I was blushing but I didn't want to miss this chance to talk to Luna and maybe learn a bit about her or why she has the hots for me but I didn't want to be brash or offensive. I had to play this one by ear. I need to be tactful so I started with my Cutie Mark on the back of my hands "Princess?" I asked she looked over at me. Believe it or not I could stand eye to eye with her.
"Yes" Luna replied "How can I help you Mitchell" she asked.
I continued "What is the purpose of my Cutie Mark. I really didn't earn it. It just appeared after I was just accepting her offer and was thankful. How can I help protect the Elements of Harmony I am not an Alicorn. I am not powerful at all? So how could my destiny be to protect the Elements of Harmony?" I was surprised with all the questions I bombarded Luna with. I also felt quite at ease talking with Luna it was like I was talking with an old friend I haven't seen in a long time. I certainly wasn't this at ease when I was talking to Princess Celestia.

Luna found Mitchell's questions strained at first but as they walked she felt more at ease with him. Luna found the first question about his Cutie Mark very foalish however she answered anyway "The purpose of your Cutie Mark is to tell everypony what your special talent is. It only appears when you learn what your good at. Or in your situation it shows you what you will be destined for. So don't worry the Elements will help you to fulfill your destiny."
Mitchell's second question Luna found amusing. She found it amusing and she replied "No you are not an Alicorn but that doesn't mean you can't fulfill your destiny it just means you have to learn a different way to fulfill your destiny. Celestia has faith in you and so do I." Mitchell looked at Luna with a mixture of shock and awe. Luna couldn't help it she laughed at his expression. "Oh I am going to enjoy trying to win your heart." Luna thought amused.

After Luna answered my Cutie Mark questions. I returned my eyes to my backs of my hands with a mixture of pride and amazement where my Cutie Mark was. I saw Luna blush but she was trying to hide it so I let her believe that I didn't see her blush even though I did. When she looked at me she had her blush under control then Luna spoke " Any other questions?"
I nodded and then I asked "How do I learn to speak Equish Princess Celestia requested it and I don't want to disappoint her or you for that matter." I said seriously.
Luna was taken aback by this question not because it was a difficult question. In fact it was quite simple to answer what surprised her was that he asked in that moment he sounded like Twilight Sparkle. "Great" she thought another pony concerned about passing and failing and disappointing others. " This is going to be harder then I thought" She thought to herself. Thankfully that was not the case.
Luna recovered from her shock and proceeded to say "I will gladly teach thee how ho speak Equish it is quite easy to learn once you get the hang of it. On one condition you have to promise me that you won't obsess about it if you don't get the language right away. Deal?" She held out her left forehoof to him and he took my hoof and shook it.
He then said "Deal, Princess Luna" and continued to shake her hoof.
As we shook hands and hooves I got a warm sensation run up my flank and down my spine which ended in my hoof he was shaking with his hand. His hand felt like it was perfectly shaped to hold her hoof. He was so gentle her heart skipped a beat. Luna looked at Mitchell and noticed that he was blushing. Luna knew Mitchell felt the same warm sensation run down his hand and through his body and was probably thinking the same thing she was thinking.
After we stopped shaking hands and hooves Luna regretted having to let go of his hand. She smiled and spoke all buisiness on him and laughed at Mitchell's surprise "Our language is not so different from yours but we do say certain words different and we swear different. First lesson what do you say to a group of ponies when you greet them?"
Mitchell responded quickly " I would say Hello everyone pleased to meet you"
Luna then stopped Mitchell "No Mitchell you say 'Hello everypony' now repeat it and memorize it"
Mitchell nodded and responded "Oh, Ok, Hello Everypony"
Luna smiled and said "Okay let's move on...." After four hours of teaching Mitchell the Equish lexicon. He learned enough of our language that he can pass off as an equestrian citizen. Mitchell learned from Luna how to swear in Equish. Mitchell thought that this will com it handy later on in his new life here. He learned some other words in Equish best left in the bedroom or used only when talking to very close friends and family
Such as the word for "sexual intercourse" is "Rut". Luna and Mitchell both felt dirty just thinking of the word. It was very uncomfortable for all considered. Although Luna felt uncomfortable about teaching him that word she was dropping hints that she was interested in him as a potential mate. Mitchell picked up on it but pretended to ignore her advances. Luna pouted. Mitchell was still uncomfortable to even think about "rutting" the Princess of the night Luna. But for some reason he didn't couldn't fully remember why. He still held reservations about pursuing a relationship with an Alicorn Princess who was clearly telling him she was totally into dating him and clearly wanting to "rut" him. Mitchell thought "I am way over my head here." But for some reason he wanted to try to date her. Just not right now he was not ready to pursue a relationship with the black maned blue Alicorn. But he senses that he will in the future if his feelings are indication of that.

Luna saw that it was time to raise the moon. But she didn't want to leave Mitchell's side to do her duty. They were having a wonderful time together just talking and Luna learned that Mitchell was no Twilight Sparkle. The only thing he shared with her was his lust for learning. Luna saw that her earlier assumption of him having a personality about being obsessive was wrong if anything he was very versatile in personality it was as if he was the embodiment of all of the elements of Harmony all except magic. Just in the past 4 hours. She learned that he loved to laugh. He was always honest. When Luna "tripped" he kindly helped her up. When he fed his pets he gave them a generous amount of food from his own plate at dinner in the great hall with her sister and herself. while they ate dinner Mitchell was showing and telling Celestia all that he learned from Luna. Even the stuff Luna didn't want him to share with her sister. All Celestia did was smile in Luna's direction. Luna laughed sheepishly. Plus he already showed loyalty when he swore himself to their service when he could have told them to "buck off" and run away. Luna was proud of him and realizing that this pride sparked more of her crush feelings for him. After dinner Celestia asked Luna to go and raise the moon for the night to come. Luna found out she didn't want to leave Mitchell here on the ground while she went and did her royal duty. Celestia sensed Luna's demeanor and nodded approvingly. Luna nearly jumped for joy but managed to contain herself. She turned to Mitchell and asked him "Mitchell would you like to fly with me to raise the moon. It'd be nice to have a guest to show how I control the moon and stars."
It took Mitchell a second for what Luna said to sink in. He spit out his fruit juice that he was drinking from supper. Mitchell chokingly spoke "You want me to fly with you so you can show me how you raise the moon? The last time I checked I CAN'T FLY" Mitchell said then he spoke again calmer this time but still frightened by the prospect of flying "I am afraid of heights" Luna looked at him then to her sister then Mitchell again. Luna spoke pleadingly "Please I promise I won't drop you and I really think you will love flying. I am very careful. Please!" She said again.
Mitchell sighed in defeat " Fiiiiine if it means so much to you i'll go flying with you" he climbed on Luna's back and gasped.

I climbed on Luna's back and gasped. Once I climbed on Luna's back I felt like I belonged on her back I felt safe and secure tucked in just under her wing joint. It was as if I knew how to position myself on her back so I wouldn't hinder her flying. Hurray for Equestrian Magic I think my prolonged stay here was starting to affect my perception and how my thoughts were being manipulated. At least that is what I thought. I also noticed that I seemed to fit perfectly on her back as if her body was designed for me to be able to ride her (not like that). Again I simply believed it was just that this universe helping me to adapt to it. Before I could think more on how this universe would help me adapt Celestia spoke to me and snapped me out of my thoughts "Mitchell, why are you afraid of heights?"
The question caught me by surprise I was about to answer when I stopped and started to think. "Why was I afraid of heights" I kept thinking. But the more I tried to remember why the more my head began to hurt. I knew at one time. Why can't I recall why I fear heights. After about 10 minutes and a splitting headache I slowly answered "I don't remember Princess Celestia. I truly don't I feel I knew at one time but for the life of me I cannot recall. The more I try to remember my head starts to hurt. Almost like my own mind was drawing blanks about my past and why I fear heights. I'm sorry Princess."
Princess Celestia regarded me for a few minutes then she smiled and said "Never mind that I asked you. But you can trust Luna she won't drop you. Now go on you two go have fun. But before you do...." Celestia approached Luna and whispered something in her ear. I didn't care but Luna seemed to. Because after Celestia had finished whispering in Luna's ear I saw Luna blink for a second then nodded as if she was agreeing to something. I didn't pry if I was meant to hear it Celestia would have spoke aloud and not whispered in her sister's ear. With that Luna took off into the air. I was a little started at first but only at first after the initial takeoff. In that moment of shock I grabbed Luna's neck careful not to choke her but firmly enough so I wouldn't fall. I swear I heard Luna nicker not out of surprise rather out of contentment.
Amazing I never felt so free and light as a feather. All my cares and worries seemed to melt away. It was then that I envied Pegasi and Alicorns alike and wished I could fly like them. I sighed in blissful peace.

It was amazing that despite Mitchell's weight and size he was relatively light for a human with his appetite. He must have the motabolism relatively the same as Pinkie Pie. Man that girl can eat. Anyway the feeling I got with him on my back it felt like he was always meant to always be on my back. He was surprisingly gentle with me. As if he knew how to position himself on my back without blocking my wings and when he grabbed my neck upon takeoff he knew how to grab my neck and not choke me. I admit I nickered but out of contentment not fear or shock or surprise. This further stoked the flames of my passion for this human, neigh, Mitchell. I now know without a doubt I want Mitchell to become my coltfriend and eventual mate. I know i said "coltfriend" that is because I understand why after he swore loyalty to us that Celestia thought of him as just another species of pony like the rest of our subjects. I saw him as a different form of coltfriend. I wanted him soooo badly but he is still unsure about what he feels about me. I am going to have to wait or try to. I smile mysteriously. After we took-off and flew around. I was right he enjoyed flying. At that moment I knew right then at every free opportunity that I had I wanted to take him flying on my back and my back alone. I was surprised by my own thoughts there. I have already made it clear that he was mine and mine alone. I want him and nopony else can have him unless we came to a compromise that is. But then something occurred to me just as I was raising the moon and placing the stars in their places and then just flew around a bit with him. Something Celestia whispered in my ear before we took off.
Celestia said to me "Once you're done with your duties and subsequent date I want you to come to my private chamber we need to have a serious talk about your 'coltfriend'. No need to worry. I think you will like what we will talk about involving him. But come alone after he has fallen asleep. I know you will want to stay by his side until he has drifted into sleep. Before you ask yes he can share your bed with you if you so choose" I started but nodded and we took off. I was jarred back to my senses when I heard him sigh forlornly. I think he envies that I can fly but he can't. But as much as he envied me he was also quite content to just ride on my back. My heart skipped a beat.
Then he spoke "This is awesome. I always wanted to fly but was afraid to. Now thanks to you Luna I can enjoy flying. Sadly I am getting quite tired. Can you show me where I will be sleeping. Princess Celestia said I had a bed ready for me for when I got tired." At that 2 thoughts jumped into my head at once. First and most exciting was he didn't call me "Princess Luna" just "Luna". My heart skipped another beat. Secondly what her sister had told her about him sharing her bed with him if she so choose to. Well I smiled I DO so choose to have him sleep with me.

As I watched Luna and Mitchell fly off to do Luna's royal duties and have a flying date I smiled. I have not seen Luna so happy since she was saved from being Nightmare Moon. I called one of my servants to my side. A male servant came running in and bowed to me and asked "You wish to see me your majesty."
I spoke to him "Ah, Busybody thank you for coming so quickly. Is Mitchell's bedroom ready?" Busybody nodded. Smiling Celestia continued "I think you can close it down. I don't think Mitchell will be using the bedroom after all"
Busybody shook his head in disbelief and spoke "Is the young master not staying in the castle with us anymore?"
I laughed "Yes he will be staying with us in the castle. I believe Luna has other plans for where he will be sleeping tonight."
Busybody shook his head not understanding. But then it hit him "Ooooh, I see well I will make sure he will get his wake-up call there instead." Busybody just realized that Mitchell was going to sleep with Luna in her bed and he chuckled.
Then he saw that I was smiling and I spoke again "I don't think the wake-up call will be necessary either. I am sure my sister is going to have all of that taken care of. Just be ready to bring them breakfast when they wake up Okay Busybody.'
Busybody bowed and replied "Yes, Princess." With that he left my study chamber.
I looked up to see Luna and Mitchell start to descend towards Luna's tower bedroom. I sighed "Good night Prince Mitchell of the Night. You don't know how happy you are making my sister feel. Keep it up. I know you two will make a great royal couple someday. I look forward to the day you propose marriage to my sister." With that I re-entered my private chamber from my balcony. I look into my reflection in my vanity mirror and spoke to my reflection "The first part of the prophesy has been fulfilled. The Prince of the night from the alternate world has arrived. He met his bride to be. He has no memory of his past life. His vessel has been opened even though he doesn't know it yet. He has began to fill with magical energy. He is ready to learn. Did I do good, Faust?"
A disembodied female voice spoke from Celestia's mirror answered "You did well my child in time I will be able to inhabit his body in time then his real destiny will begin to be fulfilled. Right now let him adapt to his new life and his eventual release of his untapped magical power. Remember my child he is not only the princess of the nights mate but the bearers of the elements of harmony's mates too. If we wish everlasting peace we need him ready. Also tell nopony else this my child he is also the bearer of the seventh Element "Sacrifice" it has yet to awaken in him. Be warned when he does awaken I already need to possess him or he will die regardless of what you have to do when his magical power awakens."
With that Celestia whispers to her reflection "Yes my goddess. I hope he will fulfill his destiny. Unlike the one that came before him. HE was seduced into working with Nightmare Moon with an empty promise to be returned to Earth. I pray Mitchell doesn't turn into HIM."
The disembodied voice assured me "Mitchell is not like HIM. Mitchell is of a pure heart and mind. Mitchell will not become like HIM. I have foreseen it. Now I must go. Watch Mitchell closely my child. Also be sure your sister is made aware of his destiny. His true destiny." with that the voice was gone.
I smiled reassured I made the right choice. With that I sat down on my favorite chair and waited for Luna's arrival. I return to smiling and thought to myself "I promise you sister. What I have to say is both amazing and life changing." The spell was complete Mitchell is now ready to take the first steps towards his greatest destiny. Not only will he become the Prince of the Night, Guardian of the Elements, and eventual vessel for our goddess Faust. But that is only the first steps. He will become our greatest ally and our Hero. Sadly he doesn't know. But for now he needn't worry about the future he needs to focus on the here and now. Let's take this one day at a time. I smile at that last thought and continue to wait for my sister to show up.
