Canterlot 1:30 P.M. 3 hours before eartquake/event

-Princess Castle

Princess Celestia was going towards her own room when a guard came running up to her and telling her that there were reports of the ground rumbling and how some soldiers found a nearby stream moving in the opposite direction.

"It's all going according to plan." Celestia whispered. The princess went towards the elements of harmony room to tell them they are needed now. She debated on waking Luna up but decided against it considering she's been awake all night and just went to sleep. She opened the door and the only one's awake were Twilight and Applejack. The rest were sleeping soundly on the floor or the bed.

"Wake up your friends and meet me in the throne room in five minutes." Celestia said.

"Ok" AJ and Twilight said in unison.

Celestia went to her throne room and in minutes entered when she spotted Discord sitting in her chair. She would usually be irritated by this sort of action but just seemed happy to see him for once.

"Hello Celestia" Discord said.

"Hello there Discord" She said returning his greeting.

Discord snapped his fingers and teleported next to Celestia and put one of his arms around her.

"So what do you plan on doing now?" he told her. She thought a bout it for a while before coming up with an answer.

"Going to Manehatten in a bit and address the evacuees." She said

"Your too easy." Discord mumbled under his breath.

"What did you say?" She said in a very agitated voice.

"Nothing" And with that, he disappeared not wanting to face her wrath once again.

Celestia went up to her throne and sat there and waited for the elements to arrive. Celestia started thinking about her and Luna's argument. Celestia started thinking more and more about what could happen. Celestia looked up to the door to see the six mares have arrived. They walked up to Celestia and bowed.

"Wheres Luna princess?" Twilight asked

"She had a long day so she is asleep until the time comes." Celestia said simply.

"In little more than two hours we will go to Manehatten and reassure the ponies that they are now safe from the earthquake. We must show that we care and will aid them in the time of need." Celestia said.

"Dismissed" Twilight just looked at her in disbelief. She was, once again worried for nothing. Rainbow Dash started grumbling about how they woke her up from her nap for just a second long meeting and how Luna was able to sleep in. Discord on the other hand, ot hoof, was disguised as a window painting and saw the whole thing. 'They dont call her Trollestia for nothing." he said amused by the fact that she may be a princess, but knew how to have fun sometimes. Sometimes.

Celestia waited until the elements left.

"What do you want now Discord" She said out loud. Discord was caught off guard and wondered how she saw him when he was disguised.

"Nothing" he said quickly before vanishing. She sometimes loved messing with him. Sometimes.

Celestia decided to go and get a slice of cake while waiting. She chuckled at the idea.

1:40 P.M.

-Manehatten-

The guards seperated into three teams. The first team was to keep panic from happening among the many citizens being evacuated. The second team was going door to door and trying to spread the word to evacuate their house or whatever they were in. The final team was just there to observe signs of the 'earthquake'. A stallion named Red Tail was one of the unlucky one's to be put in the third team. Their job was very boring since hardly anything happened. And the things that did happen or is happening have already been reported. So the ponies were mostly standing around half the time talking or just feeling the constant vibrations of the ground.

Red Tail was scratching at the ground with his hoof. Or would it be called hooving? anyway's he was clawing or whatever you want to call it at the ground while looking at the evacuees getting directed to someplace or another unlucky pony stuck in third team doing whatever to entertain themselve. Red saw a pony come up to him. He knew who it was. His friend.

"Aw cheer up Red. Look on the bright side, you are getting paid for just standing around and doing nothing." His friend, Sloth Hoof said. The jobs they got were ironic in a way ( I dont think it's the right word but I hope you know what i mean). Sloth was always lazy and Red was always hard working.

"Yea that did'nt really help." Red said. He'd kill to switch teams with his friend. He wanted to do something.

"Listen up everypony. The Princess is coming in less than three hours. So double time." The team leader yelled.

"Why not now?" Red asked a nearby mare.

"Maybe she's busy" She said.

He was about to say something when the ground started shaking stronger than before.

2:00 P.M 2 hours before earthquake/event

-Guest room-

Twilight wanted to ask her teacher more questions but decided to wait for the time being. 'Maybe Discord knows' she thought. She changed her mind since she really wasnt in the mood to talk to the god of chaos. Twilight's just decided to go talk to the princess after all. She told her friends she is going to talk to the princess then she went to the throne room to see if she was there. Twilight went into the throne room and opened the door only to find it empty.

"She's stuffing cake in her face for your information." She heard from an all too familar voice. 'Great, now I have to deal with him' she thought.

"Thanks and bye Discord" Twilight said trying to leave quickly before being stopped by him.

"Why so soon Twilight? I thought we were friends." He said in a very sad voice.

"Discord, I know your always being ignored and must be really bored but I really need to talk to the princess." She said.

"Your such a party pooper Twilight" He said. Discord was bored to death and wanted someone to talk to or have some form of action going on. The only pony he talked to the most nowadays was Luna. But then at times she would ignore Discord. Which was most of the time.

Twilight left Discord to himself and went into the royal dining room to talk to the princess. In minutes Twilight saw Celestia there and sure enough, she was stuffing her whole face into a huge cake. Twilight thought it was un-princess like of her but looked on in amusement. Celestia heard a hoofstep and looked up to see her protege. She blushed right away knowing Twilight saw her stuff a gigantic cake in her face.

"Princess may we talk for a little bit" Twilight said.

"Why certaintly Twilight." She said.

"When the earthquake arrives, will we just go and help anypony who are injured or are we going to speak there?" Twilight said.

Celestia wondered for a bit thinking while liking frosting off her muzzle. She knew how smart Twilight was so she ended up telling her fast.

"Yes we will help the injured and speak there." Celestia said.

"If you knew there is going to be an earthquake then that must mean you know when right?" Twilight said with hope.

"Sadly we dont my faithful student." Celestia told her.

"Anymore questions Twilight?" She said.

"Yes. When I read about earthquakes, there's always tsunami right after words. Do you think we should wait until that passes?" This question stumped Celestia. She was stuck for a good twenty seconds before answering.

"The other reason were evacuating is cause of that Twilight." She said. Twilight couldnt shake a feeling something was off but she did not know what though. Feeling a little bit satisfied, Twilight said goodbye and went to see her friends while still trying to find out what this 'feeling was'. Celestia on the other hoof, was still eating away.

2:10 P.M.

-Manehatten-

Many ponies stopped talking or walking all together as they felt the vibration under the ground. After a few seconds it stopped.

"That was it? That was the earthquake?" A pony said not believing that could be the earthquake. Many other ponies started thinking and saying the same thing too. Red Mane and Sloth Hoof ( Terrible name) were both wondering if that was or some type of warning before it happend. Sloth was dissapointed and thought it was going to shake a whole lot. Not a little. Red Mane felt worried and knew something was off.

Many of the citizens decided to try and go home. Some did. Some didnt.

All we know is that the ponies are in for a hell of a shaking.
