Frontline

The tension in the room rose highly in the few seconds those words were spoken.

"Ah mercenary what the hay is one of 'em doin' here?" asked Applejack annoyed and worried.

"Yeah, what's that meanie doing here," agreed Pinkie Pie happily, *gasp*" is he here to party?!" Everyone rolled their eyes at the energetic party pony and her remark.

"I'm afraid not Pinkie," Twilight said shaking her," but what ever he is here for we keep an eye on him." When Twilight finished her glowed and levitated a traveling cloak from the corner of the room on to the table. It seemed familiar for some reason.

"This had fallen off of him when I found him," she continued," I believe it might give us clues to who he is. Other than this cloak he is also an Earth Pony with a yellow coat and shaggy brown mane with a pink strand through ...Fluttershy ,are you okay?"

As I listened to Twilight describe the pony my face paled. And tears seeped through my eyes.

'could it be true, could he still be alive.' I thought. Instead of answering Twilight I picked up the cloak. I could feel everyone eyes on me as I slowly turn the cloak over and looked at the clasps. What I saw made me freeze, tears started flow freely down my face. I looked up at Rainbow Dash, who had come around the table to make sure I was ok. I showed her the clasps because I knew this involved her too. When she saw the clasp I saw tears form in her eyes, I drop the cloak as we embraced each other in a hug. The hug broke when a certain white unicorn oblivious to why they were crying for open her mouth and said the worse thing she could at that time.

"My, I know the cloak is ugly, but not that ugly," Rarity said," and should we be trying to find a way to find away to stop this ruffian before it hurt some?"

I felt the anger in me boil over and before anyone said anything else I was on my hoofs and out the door with the cloak and Rainbow behind me. I hear the others try to call us back but I ignore them and kept walking. When me and Rainbow were far enough away I turned to my friend and said with determination in y eyes and voice.

"We'll find him Rainbow, we won't lose him again." and with that turned and flew home hug the cloak as I went.
