Chapters The Pack II: Worlds Apart
“By the way you described her, it sounds like my old pupil Sunset Shimmer.” Celestia said, tapping her chin as she seemed lost in thought.
“What happened to her?” Dash questioned.
“She was angry at me because I refused to teach her certain things that she should not have been able to learn. It was in her anger that she found the mirror…” Celestia said with a small sigh.
“What mirror?” Dash asked.
“Follow me.” Celestia said. She lead us into a part of the castle none of them had been to before. The first thing they noticed was a large mirror against the wall.
“What’s it do besides reflect? Because If it was just a mirror you wouldn’t be showing us.” Star asked.
“It’s a portal.” Celestia said bluntly.
“To where exactly?” AJ asked.
“I’m sure whoever is willing to step through it will know better than I.” Celestia said.
Everyone looked right at Star.
Star looked at everyone before slowly raising his hand.
“I’m so glad we have an eager volunteer.” Luna laughed.
“So… Star do you have a plan for getting the crown back?” Dash asked.
“Well I was planning on just taking it.” Star said.
“That sounds… Foolproof.” Dash said.
“Well I could ask nicely first.” Star suggested.
“I doubt she’d give it up that easily.” AJ said.
“Well I’m sure I’ll find a way.” Star said.
“Alright. Just please come back.” Dash said.
“I’ll be fine. There’s nothing I can’t handle. Can you at least promise me this isn’t going to lead me into Cthulhu’s mouth?” Star asked.
“I’m sure it won’t.” Celestia said.
“Good luck Star.” Rarity said.
“If you don’t come back within a month I’m coming in there after you.” Twilight said.
“We love you.” Fluttershy said, kissing Star before being shoved away by Pinkie.
“I will kill you if you don’t come back.” Pinkie said, hugging Star tightly.
Luna was about to speak before just shaking her head.
“We’ll miss you.” AJ said.
Star walked over to Luna and poked her in the side of the head. “Speak up.” He said.
“Be careful. I don’t think any of us could handle losing you too.” Luna said as she hugged him tightly.
Star wrapped his arms around her. “I know. I’d hate to leave you in the capable hands of my children.” He joked.
“Good luck.” Luna smiled.
Star turned and faced the mirror. He took a deep breath in and was about to step forward. “Hey you sure this is sa-” He tried to say.
“Bye!” Pinkie said, pushing him through.
“DICK!” Star shouted as he was pulled through violently.
Star’s eyes opened slowly. He looked around and saw he was on the side of the road somewhere unfamiliar. He stood up and looked around, the first thing he noticed was his hands. “Why am… I don’t…” He mumbled as he saw the smooth, hairless skin that seemed to be covering his entire body. “Oh my god…” He started as he pulled his hair. “I’M BLONDE!”
Star pulled his lengthy hair forward, seeing it was long enough to run to the center of his back. “I need a mirr- mm… never mind.” He said to himself. His hand ran through his hair and stopped when he felt something was wrong. He didn’t have a horn. “WHAT?!” He shouted loudly. His entire body froze and he took a deep breath in. “I’m okay… just remember your goal Star.”
All of a sudden the previous quiet was broken by the sound of a loud motor moving quickly towards Star. He turned to see a single headlight beaming towards him. Star dove out of the way in shock as the motorcycle swerved to a stop.
“HOLY SHIT WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!” The rider said, his voice muffled by the helmet.
“Not dying, you bastard what the hell?!” Star shouted back.
“You were the one who DOVE onto the road!” The rider said back. “God I could have killed you!”
“Well I’m sorry. I’m a little disorganized at the moment.” Star stated as he stood up. “And I was diving out of the way of your 500 MPH world record breaking performance.”
“Well I’m sorry for going 50 which IS the damn speed limit through here!” The rider said. “Wait. Don’t tell me I’m about to get hit in the back of the head with a tire iron…”
“Probably. Do you have one I could borrow?” Star asked.
“No.” The rider said, “If you aren’t out here trying to rob someone then why are you out here?”
“You know I’d love to answer all your questions but I have place to be.” Star said, turning and walking down the road for a few moments before stopping and looking around.
“And where might that be?” The rider questioned.
“I… I don’t…” Star started, sighing in defeat. “I don’t know…”
“Well here. Promise not to kill me and I’ll take you back to my house and you can eat dinner and figure out where you were heading to.” The rider said.
“I don’t want to bother you… I think I caused enough trouble as it is just being here.” Star said.
“Ah. My parents love it when I have company over.” The rider said, waving his hand dismissively. “And besides… we have plenty of space at the house.”
“Alright.” Star shrugged, climbing onto the back of the motorcycle.
“You might want to wear this.” The rider said as he removed his helmet revealing his long black hair. “Here you go.” He said, handing Star the helmet.
Star took the helmet and paused at the sound of the man’s unmuffled voice. He looked up wide eyed at the now unmasked person.
“What?” J asked. “Do I have something on my face?”
Star just stared at J, his mouth slowly falling open.
“Get the helmet on. I’m not going to wait here forever.” J said.
Star immediately dropped the helmet and hugged J.
“What the hell are you doing?” J asked, pushing Star back and looking around almost worriedly.
“Why are… how?” Star stammered.
“Listen man are you going to put the helmet on or do you want me to just go?” J asked.
“You don’t… remember me?” Star asked slowly.
“I’ve never met you until just now… Wait… No… Do I go to school with you?” J asked, scratching his stubble covered chin.
“High sch- Oh my god you have a beard.” Star stated. “Well… half… semi… peach fuzz.”
“Yeah… So my girlfriend loves it. So I’m growing it.” J shrugged.
“Girlfriend?” Star questioned.
“Yeah…” J nodded.
“What’s her name?” Star asked.
“Fluttershy.” J said. “And we’ve been going strong for a good year now.”
“You’re screwing my wife?” Star asked.
“Um… What?” J questioned. “I’ve heard of young marriages but… dude you can’t be older then eighteen…”
Star paused for a moment. “Why yes… yes I am.” He nodded.
“Prove it pull out your license.” J said.
Star reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet. He reached in and reluctantly showed J his license.
“Oh you are right!” J said, covering his mouth in feign surprise, “You're eighteen and two months!”
Star paused for a moment. He turned the ID around and looked at the picture of himself. “Wow even my license changed… neat.”
“Um… I may need to place a quick call to… a few friends of mine now…” J said a little uncertainly. “Don’t worry though… They’re really nice…”
“So who’s your family?” Star asked.
“Um…” J mumbled.
“Oh right sorry.” Star said, putting the helmet on. “Is that better?”
“Let’s go have a little visit to Shady Oaks now…” J said.
“I thought you were going to show me where you live? And your girlfriend?” Star asked.
“Yeah… Nooo…” J said. “One of my mom’s doctor friends might be able to help with whatever you have going on…”
Star’s face blanked as the realization hit him. He immediately smirked and took off the helmet. “You know Joel...” He said.
J kicked off the ground and jetted his motorcycle forward.
Star was forced back and slammed into the ground, J’s weight instantly pinning him down.
“You try ANYTHING and I’ll show you exactly what my dad’s been teaching me for the past few years.” J said as he glared down at Star.
“You mean Silver?” Star asked.
“Yeah. I’d say a military veteran in this town is pretty well known.” J said.
“Okay well what about your mother, Willow?” Star said.
“Wh-” J was cut off.
“Or your favorite teddy bear Tibbers that your mother gave you when you were a kid, that got torn up and thrown all over the school by the bully that picked on you, Timmy was his name?” Star asked.
“H… How do yo-” J was cut off again.
“Or maybe the fact that when you were younger you had an unpleasant experience with a group of kids that involved less than consensual sex.” Star said.
J remained absolutely silent, shock clear on his face.
“You wanna get off me now?” Star asked.
“Wh… Who are you?” J questioned.
“A man who really, really cares about you.” Star said.
“J… Just shut up…” J mumbled as he shakily stood up and grabbed the seat on the motorcycle for support. “Just… s… stop…”
“How could I know that Joel? How could I know something that happened when you were around five. I don’t think I was stalking you as a toddler.” Star stated as he stood up.
“Just stop!” J shouted.
Star closed his mouth and stared at J.
“Get… the damn helmet on… and just… stop talking… I need to think…” J said as he slowly climbed onto the motorcycle.
Star took the helmet and put it back on, sitting back on the motorcycle behind J.
“Hold on this time.” J said as he started the bike back up.
They pulled into the driveway of a larger house and J shut down the motorcycle and got off.
“Oh I see you don’t live in a motel.” Star joked.
J looked back at Star before walking to the front door. He was about to throw it open when some else opened it for him.
“Great you’re home.” Silver said staring down at J.
Star stared at Silver silently, staring at him almost in awe.
“Who’s that?” Silver asked as he looked at Star.
“That is a GREAT question.” J said as he turned to look at Star.
“I’m Stardust… hi d- Silver.” Star said.
“Hello Stardust. Come inside. Oh and J, Fluttershy’s been waiting for you. She arrived just a few minutes ago.” Silver said as he stepped aside and admitted access into his home.
J let out a sighe before smiling, “Thanks for telling me that. I’ll go say hi then.” He said as he walked into the house.
Star quickly followed behind J and looked around the house.
“This way. I’m sure you’d rather wait in the living room.” J said, motioning Star to follow him a little more.
Star nodded, nearly clinging to J as he followed.
J lead him into another room, a large entertainment stand with various consoles hooked up to it stood with a massive TV in the center. “And here we are.” J said. “I have something I need to do then we can… talk.”
Star jumped back as Fluttershy burst into the room and nearly tackled J into a hug. “You mean some ‘one’?” Star corrected.
“Hey there Flutters.” J smiled as he squeezed her. “I missed you a lot.”
“Me too.” Fluttershy said, burying her face into J’s neck.
“Now kiss.” Star said.
J stared unimpressed at Star. He continued to stare at Star as he sat down on the couch and pulled Fluttershy up onto his lap.
Star took a seat next to J and stared at him.
“Oh yes… Fluttershy I would like you to meet Stardust.” J said, motioning towards Star.
“Hi.” Star waved.
“Oh hello.” Fluttershy smiled, holding her hand out.
Star stared at her hand for a moment before slowly shaking it. “You’re rather… straight forward.” He said.
“We do bring out the best in each other.” J smiled as he snuggled against her. “Oh, I’ve been meaning to ask… Usually you spend a lot of time with Dash… why’d you stop?”
“Oh… I um… don’t really want to talk about it.” Fluttershy said, looking away.
J looked at her, the concern clear on his face. “Did… something bad happen between you two… Did she hurt you?” He asked worriedly.
“J please it’s nothing like that, just drop it okay?” Fluttershy said.
“Alright… I just know spending time with her made you really happy and that’s all that I really want to see. You being happy.” J said quietly.
“Then stop talking about it okay?!” Fluttershy snapped. Star leaned back in surprise.
J stared at her before closing his eyes, “Okay.” He said quietly.
“Umm…” Star mumbled.
Fluttershy stood up. “I should probably go.” She said.
“No! Please… don’t…” J said quickly, shooting up and wrapping his arms around her. “Please don’t go…”
Fluttershy stood there silently and unmoving.
“A… Alright then… S… See you later…” J said, letting go of her and slipping back down onto the couch.
“See you. You too Star.” Fluttershy said, rushing out of the house.
“And no ass tonight.” Star said.
J silently stared at Star before looking at the wall.
“I’m joking, lighten up man I’m sure she just wants to be alone.” Star said, putting a hand on J’s shoulder.
J remained silent for a few moments, before pushing Star’s hand off. “Yeah I hope that’s the case.” He said.
Star scooted even closer to J. “I’m sure.” He smiled, never taking his eyes off J’s.
J moved to the other side of the couch.
Star’s smile grew as he scooted back against J and followed him across the couch. “What’s wrong?” He asked.
“What do you think you’re doing?” J questioned.
“Nothing.” Star said, climbing into J’s lap. “Why don’t you tell me what I’m getting for Christmas?”
J shoved Star off of his lap and onto the floor. Star grunted as he hit the floor and started laughing.
“What’s so funny?” J snapped.
“You.” Star smiled. “It’s just so good to see you.”
J rolled his eyes and stood up and walked to the stairs.
Star jumped up and immediately followed him. “Where ya going?” He asked.
“To my room.” J said as he walked up the stairs and into the first door on the left. Star attempted to follow J in only to have the door slam in his face.
Star knocked on the door.
“Go away.” J said.
“No.” Star said, knocking again.
“Go fuck yourself.” J said.
Star turned the handle and opened the door a little. A baseball narrowly missed hitting him.
“Okay. Maybe I’ll go tell everyone what you write in your diary that you keep stashed at the bottom of your chest that you think stays locked when you’re out.” Star said.
J remained silent.
“HEY SILVER!” Star shouted. “YOU KNOW A KID NAMED FUNNY?”
“Dad probably took Fluttershy home.” J said.
“That’s fine I can wait.” Star said, starting to walk back to the living room.
Another door opened, “Oh you mean that really nice boy that my little baby is friends with?” Willow said as she stepped out of another bedroom.
Star’s smile widened to goofy proportions. “Actually, I have something I need to tell you.” He started.
Star felt his shoulder get grabbed painfully tight as he was torn back into J’s room. J shut the door and locked it. “What do you think you’re playing at?” He questioned.
Star looked over to the laptop on the desk. “Well I’d say I should have let you finish with your porn but it’s not like I haven’t seen you masterbate before.” He said.
“Wh… That’s fucking creepy…” J mumbled.
Star glanced around J’s room. “It’s nice.” He said, jumping on J’s bed and spreading out with a relaxed sigh. “So much better than concrete roads.”
“That’s MY bed.” J said as he sat down at his desk and opened up the laptop.
Star smiled as he leaned back against the pillows. “Oh Joel.” He said soothingly.
J pulled a headset out of the desk and plugged it into the laptop before putting it on.
Star’s smile faded slowly. He reached back and grabbed one of the pillows, chucking it at J’s head.
J continued to ignore Star as he started up a game. After a few minutes J glanced back at Star and his eyes widened as he saw Star was naked laying on his side just staring back at him. “Hello handsome.” Star said.
“What the actual fuck?” J questioned.
Star started to slowly stroke his growing shaft. “Something you like stranger?” He teased.
J slowly looked back at his computer screen, slightly shaken by what he just saw.
“Oh J J bear…” Star cooed.
J continued to ignore Star before he froze up and grabbed his head. He immediately felt Star’s presence next to him and turned to see his naked body directly to his side. “What’s wrong?!” Star asked quickly.
J shoved Star away, “God damn it. I’m not interested.” He said, his tone slightly pained.
“Please I don’t want to see you hurting… tell me what’s wrong. Is it a headache? I think I can help with that.” Star said, moving behind J and massaging his neck.
J shot up and quickly scrambled away from Star.
“Joel please just let me help!” Star said quickly, walking towards J again.
“N… No… Just…” J mumbled.
Star walked over to the bed and sat down, patting the area next to him. “Sit down please…” He pleaded.
“No… I don’t even KNOW you and you’re naked in my room!” J said, “I am NOT sitting down for you…”
Star sat there silently for a few moments. “Do you want me to leave?” He asked.
“Yeah… Yeah I do.” J said.
Star nodded slowly and stood up, turning around and about to leave.
There was a moment of pure silence before Star felt J tackle him from the side and right onto the bed. Star stared wide eyed up at J. “Um.” Star said aloud.
J remained silent as he hugged Star tightly.
“Does this mean we’re together?” Star said uncertainly.
“What? Did we stop being best friends all of a sudden?” J questioned.
Star’s face blanked as he stared at J. “Come again?” He said.
“Stop messing ar-” J froze as he suddenly remembered Star was naked. He quickly let go of Star and backed away, “Um I’ll let you get dressed…”
“No no no. No you don’t.” Star said, tackling J to the floor.
J stared up at Star. “Um… Star… what are you… Um… doing?” He asked.
“I dunno. what do you want me to do?” Star asked, bringing his lips closer to J’s.
J remained motionless for a second before pushing his lips against Star’s.
Star bit down gently on J’s lip as he brought J’s hand down to his shaft.
J gulped a little as he slowly grasped Star’s shaft. His eyes closed as he felt its’ heat.
“I’ve missed you Joel.” Star whispered into J’s ear and nipped it lightly.
J pushed Star away as he shook his head, “Th… this is wrong…” He mumbled.
Star sat up and stared at J. “It’s not like we haven’t done it before, what’s the big deal?” He asked.
“We haven’t done it before… and… and I still love Fluttershy… I… I can’t cheat on her…” J said.
“J I don’t know if you’ve… wait you don’t remember everything do you.” Star said.
“What am I supposed to be remembering?” J asked.
“You don’t remember Chrysalis? Or your daughters, your sons?” Star asked.
“I… I don’t have any children… and… Who’s Chrysalis?” J asked curiously.
“J would I lie to you, when I say that you’ve lost your memories?” Star asked.
“No… You wouldn’t lie to me.” J said.
“Then believe me when I tell you that this… all of this.” Star said, motioning to his room and the house. “It’s all fake.”
“No… It can’t be fake… Why… why would I have so many vivid memories of what happened then? And…” J mumbled.
“J you… disappeared. Me and all our friends found a suicide note in your room.” Star said.
“But… I’m… I don’t understand…” J said.
“We couldn’t find a body… I… I helped bury your… coffin…” Star said shakily as tears started to slide down his face. “And… when I saw you were alive… I…”
J quickly wrapped his arms around Star. “Don’t… Don’t go on…” He said quietly. “Let’s just… sit down and… I don’t know… just be together…”
“For the past week… that’s all I’ve ever wanted…” Star said quietly, clinging tightly to J.

“Oh my god.” Star said aloud from the bathroom.
“What’s wrong?” J asked.
“My face is so smooth! And I have blue eyes.” Star said in amazement.
J chuckled. “Come on you’ll have plenty of time to check out your body when we get back from school.” He said.
Star walked out and smiled. “Oh come on it’s only fair, you’ve been doing it all night.” He said.
J mumbled something as he walked down the stairs and into the dining room. Star followed shortly after.
“It’s so great to know that you’re still making new friends.” WIllow smiled as she saw the two enter.
“Mmhm.” Silver said as he sipped his coffee.
Star smiled and walked over to Silver, hugging him tightly.
Silver glanced up at Star, “What are you doing?” He asked.
Willow glared at Star, almost daring him to go on.
Star turned to Willow and opened his arms. “Oh you want a hug too!” He said happily.
“No. I’m fine.” Willow said, “And get dressed. I want to see you both at school early.”
Star’s smile faded rapidly. “Oh… okay.” He said.
“And I want you both to eat before school.” Willow said.
Star turned to J and smiled again. “That sounds fun.” He said.
J was already scoffing down his food.
Star took a seat next to J and ate a plate that was passed to him. “Smells good.” He said.
“Tastes even better.” J said.
“I bet it does.” Star said, staring at J’s crotch as he ate.
J sighed and went back to eating.
“So m- Willow. What do you do for a living?” Star asked.
“I work as a science teacher at the high school.” Willow said.
“Twilight would love you.” Star said.
“Oh?” Willow asked with a smile.
J’s phone vibrated in his pocket. “Star go get dressed right now!” He said as he quickly jumped up from his seat.
Star stood up immediately and ran to J’s room, putting his clothes on as quick as possible.
“COME ON WE HAVE TO LEAVE NOW!” J called up the stairs.
Star hopped down the stairs on one foot, his other in the air as he put his last sock on. “Go go!” He said quickly as he stepped into his shoes.
J bolted out the door and picked up a helmet before throwing another one to Star. J was instantly on the front of his motorcycle, leaving Star just seconds to get on and hold J before it sped off.
J stopped in a parking spot in the school parking lot and shut it down. “Okay… We made it on time.” He said.
“Did you have… to hit… every speed bump?” Star asked shakily.
“You’ll get used to it.” J chuckled.
“So um… what’s first?” Star asked.
“Well first we’ll need to visit the main office to get you a locker…” J said.
“That sounds about right.” Star nodded.
“Well come on. Oh and I guess you should meet some of my friends…” J trailed off slightly and a slightly saddened look crossed his face.
“What’s wrong?” Star asked.
“Just…” J sighed quietly. “Let’s go…”
Star straightened his white shirt and black slacks. “Wait, how do I look?” He asked.
“Good.” J shrugged.
“Great.” Star said, kissing J’s cheek and started walking towards the school.
J froze up and just stared ahead.
“Something wrong?” Star asked, turning back to J.
“I don’t… Kiss… Wh… What…?” J mumbled uncertainly.
“And I ask again, something wrong?” Star asked with a grin.
“I just…” J mumbled.
Star turned to the school and started laughing.
J walked forward slowly. “What’s so funny?” He asked.
Star ran up the steps and turned around, holding his arms out. “I’m a sexy blonde 18 years old, and in high school again. I’m going to do all the things I never had the chance to do. And you know what that means?” He asked.
“What?” J asked.
“Screwing the brains out of every male and female student and teacher.” Star laughed, turning and sprinting into the school.
J started laughing as he walked into the school.
At Lunch:
Star took a seat next to J, who was sitting alone. “Why you alone?” Star asked bluntly.
“The rest of my friends are fighting and none of them will tell me why… you saw what happened when I tried to ask Fluttershy… and… well… That was a huge mistake…” J said as he poked at his food.
“Well are they all mad at you?” Star asked.
“No. It’s just they know I won’t take any sides… I just want them to get back to being friends…” J sighed.
“Well there’s one thing they don’t have in common.” Star said, leaning back and nearly falling back as he realized there was no back rest to the lunch table, quickly stabilizing himself.
“Oh what’s that?” J asked.
Star held out his hands and pointed both his thumbs towards himself. “Me.” He stated.
“If I couldn’t patch it up what makes you think you can?” J asked curiously.
Star stared at J blankly for a moment before turning to the many people in the crowd of teenagers eating lunch. “Hey!” He shouted. A bunch of kids turned to him. “You, you, you, and you. Sit.” He said, motioning them over. About four kids rushed over and sat down next to Star. “What are your na- ames…”
“Beck.” The girl said shyly.
“Kit.” One of the men said.
“Fez.” Another said, wrapping his arm around Kit.
“M… mouse sir…” The smallest one said.
Star stared at all of them for a few moments before smiling widely. “How would you like to join a group.” He asked.
“What kind of gro-” Kit tried to say before being smacked upside the head by Star.
“The kind of group where you don’t ask questions.” Star stated.
Beck raised her hand. “I’ll join…” She said.
“Good we have one non-bitch.” Star said, glancing at the other three.
“Fuck if she’s joining, I’m joining.” Fez stated.
“I’ll do it!” Mouse spoke up with a smile.
“Me too.” Kit said, rubbing his head.
Star turned to J and stared at him silently.
J chuckled as he flipped up his phone and texted someone. “Time for some fireworks then eh?” He asked with a smirk.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Star asked.
“Can’t spoil the show for you.” J said.
“Suit yourself.” Star shrugged. He turned to Beck. “Hey, you’re my new girlfriend.” He said, yanking her into his lap.
Beck blushed brightly. “Okay.” She said quietly.
Everyone heard the lunch room doors fly open and a single teenager wearing a hoodie walked in towards the table J and Star were sitting at. When he arrived he pulled out a chair and sat down on it before putting his feet up on the table and managing to lean comfortably back in the chair. J and him bumped fists before J went back to eating.
“Who’s he?” Star asked.
“Danny.” The kid said.
“Nice to meet you Danny.” Star said, extending a hand.
“Oh you want a smoke?” Danny asked in a serious tone.
J seemed to choke a little.
“You got a lighter?” Star asked.
“Course I do.” Danny said.
“Can I show you a magic trick? I promise you’ll love it.” Star said, motioning for him to give the lighter.
“Nope.” Danny said.
“Afraid I’ll break it?” Star asked.
“Nope.” Danny said again.
Star glanced over to the others. Fez, Kit, and Beck stood up and looked at Danny.
“Mmm. I’d love to see you try.” Danny said calmly.
“Oh you don’t have a lighter.” Star said.
“I’d love my credit card back.” Danny said bluntly.
Star tossed him the credit card.
“And my keys. Both sets.” Danny said.
Star slid both sets of keys across the table.
“What the hell?” J questioned as he stared at Star in disbelief.
“You don’t carry a wallet I see.” Star said.
“Nice licence photo.” Danny commented.
Star’s hands immediately shot down to his own pockets, looking down at them before turning back to Danny.
Danny threw Star the wallet, “I didn’t take anything don’t worry. I don’t do that shit anymore.” He said.
“How the hell did you steal all that from him?” J questioned.
“Misdirection. You thought they were going to attack Danny, when really it was just a distraction. Mouse was under the table the entire time, siphoning his pockets to me.” Star said.

There was a violent pounding on the bedroom door, “I heard screaming is everything alright in there?” Silver questioned.
Beck looked like she was about to charge at J before Star grabbed her shoulder. She turned to him and stared into his eyes.
“I’m coming in!” Silver said as the door swung open violently. Everyone instantly saw the shotgun in his hand.
J looked back at Silver before looking to Beck.
Silver saw the knife Beck was holding and slowly raised the shotgun, “Put the knife on the ground.” He ordered.
Beck stared at Silver, only clenching the knife tighter.
Silver aimed right at Beck, “Go ahead. I won’t miss.” He said in a calm and calculated tone.
“No one is shooting anyone.” Star stated.

“I can’t wait to start!” J said.

“A… What?” J asked.
“You are a tall, solid black colored man that can change into other people at will.” Star said.
J stared at Star. “Okay… Now I’m curious. Who’s my ‘Queen’?” He asked.
“Her name is Queen Chrysalis. She’s similar with long light blue hair and previous evil tendencies.” Star said.
“So… I’m married to Chrysalis?” J asked.
“Well technically we’re in a polyamorous relationship between a lot of different people so there is no ‘marriage” Star said.
J closed his eyes for a moment. “And… Why or… What happened that I left?” He asked, looking back at Star.
“I have no idea.” Star shrugged. “We all thought you were dead…”
“I… I want to see this world.” J said. “No… I have to.”
“Well your kids miss you a lot. And so do mine… mine more than others as the last thing I remember was Sarah and Serena tying you down in the basement. At least that’s what they said happened before you disappeared.” Star shrugged.
“So… I just vanished? That doesn’t make any sense…” J mumbled, “It’s just too… Random…”
“Nothing in our world is random unless you’re talking about Pinkie. Something or someone took you.” Star started, scratching his head. “Banishing… that’s Celestia’s thing. But she wouldn’t…”
“So I was banished?” J asked, “For… what?”
“I don’t know. The only two people capable of doing that with an AGENDA would be either Sombra, or Discord.” Star said.
“And then fake my death so no one would try looking for me…” J mumbled.
“Well there’s nothing we can do about it here. Although I have no idea how to get back.” Star sighed.
“You know that crown you were talking about?” J asked, quickly turning to Star. “I saw that they got a new one for the prom this year. I think I might know where it is…”
“That could be it.” Star nodded. “You should definitely check it out but…”
“So you don’t want it that badly?” J asked.
“I do, it’s just… nice to have you back and I guess I got distracted.” Star laughed.
J smiled, “Well… Put some clothes on I can get us into the school easily.” He said.
“One: I just took them off. And two: You’re suggesting breaking into the school?” Star asked.
“No. My mom’s keys can get us into every door in the school.” J said. “Buut… I guess going into the dark school is a lot scarier then doing it in the bathroom.”
“Are you suggesting I’m afraid?” Star questioned.
“No.” J said as he walked to the bathroom door and grabbed the handle. “You know if you don’t want to I can go do it myself.”
“You’re an ass.” Star stated.
J looked at Star before slowly walking up to him. Star stood still and stared at him.
J slapped Star on the ass, “No I have the best one right here.” He smirked before turning back around and walking out of the bathroom.
“Well now I’m definitely not putting my clothes back on.” Star said to himself.
The Pack II: Worlds Apart
Later on:
“Okay… No maintenance workers tonight. That makes this even easier.” J said, looking back at Star. “You really sure you’re up for brea-” He stopped as he saw Star was already inside.
“You talk too much.” Star said, motioning J inside.
Just as J stepped into the school they both heard someone grunt from near the statue.
“What the hell was that?” J asked, looking to Star.
Star and J turned around and saw Twilight sitting in front of the statue, looking dazed as she glanced around the area.
J mumbled something to himself before looking at Star, “Do you know her?” He asked.
“That would be Twilight Sparkle…” Star said with a little confusion obvious in his voice.
“You said that they sent you through alone…” J said, looking over at Twilight. “And… You ended up on a roadside… Not in front of the school…” He looked back to Star, “Well… Best option would be to finish what we started but… That wouldn’t be the right one…”
“What do you mean?” Star asked.
“Well she obviously came for it too… And the more help we have the better.” J said
J and Star both heard another grunt. They turned back to Twilight and saw a small dog sitting next to Twilight, looking almost as dazed as her.
“Oh great a dog…” J sighed.
Star’s lip quivered for a moment before he started to laugh.
“What’s so funny?” J questioned.
“That would be Spike.” Star said, noticing the color patterns on the dog’s fur.
J glanced at Star before he started walking towards Twilight and Spike. Twilight had already stood up and had a hand behind her back and a hand on her forehead, seeming distressed.
“You alright?” J asked as he approached her.
“No!” Twilight snapped, turning to J for a moment before looking down at Spike.
“Yeaah… Just trying to be friendly.” J said, “Not for everyone I guess.”
“I’m sure they’re not permanently gone.” Spike said reassuringly.
“Holy shit a talking dog.” J said, his mouth falling open.
“Holy shit a talking whatever you are.” Spike said, looking up at J.
“Too bad I don’t hurt animals. I’d love to see how far I could send your mutt ass.” J said, staring down at Spike.
Spike just stared up at J unimpressed for a few moments. His face slowly fading to an emotionless one.
“God. I’m just going to go back to taking the damn crown.” J said, waving his hand as he turned around and started to walk back to Star.
“J?” Spike asked quietly.
“Mmm. Talking dog knows my name. Not surprising anymore.” J said.
Twilight was staring wide eyed at J. “J… Is that yo… you?” She mumbled.
J stopped and turned to Twilight, “Yeah.” He said.
Twilight stood there silently as tears ran down her face.
J bit his lip for a moment before walking up to Twilight and opening his arms.
Twilight wrapped her arms around J and pressed her face into his chest. J heard a whimpering as Spike clung to his leg.
J wrapped his arms around Twilight. He closed his eyes for a few moments.
“Can you see how loved you are?” Star asked as he approached.
“Yeah… Yeah I can…” J said quietly. “And… Now… More than ever… I want to go th- Back…”
“We…” Twilight mumbled.
“I know this is very surprising but he’s back and was never dead. I don’t know why he’s here.” Star said.
“Come on… The school’s empty you can… Explain what happened on the way to the main office.” J said quietly, slowly removing his arms from Twilight.
“So Discord went on a rampage after I left?” Star questioned.
“Yeah. I guess he thinks without the elements he’s not threatened.” Twilight said.
“Even more reason to get back as soon as possible.” Star said.
J suddenly leaned against the wall and grabbed his head again.
Twilight, Star, and Spike turned to J. “What’s wrong?!” They all said.
“Fu… P… Pounding… Headache…” J grunted as he braced himself further against the wall.
“What do we do?” Spike asked quickly.
“I don’t know!” Twilight said.
“Nnn…” J mumbled. After another minute he started breathing heavily but had let go of his head. “It’s… it’s gone…”
“J are you alright?” Twilight asked worriedly.
“I’m fine… It’s just. I don’t know what…” J mumbled.
“What?” Spike asked.
“N… Nothing.” J said quietly.
“Hey… where’s Star?” Twilight asked. Everyone looked around to see that he had disappeared.
“I don’t know…” J said, “We need to find him. Spike you’re a dog why don’t you track his scent?”
Spike started sniffing, slowly making his way down the halls. He lead them to the doors to the currently darkened lunch room.
J pulled on the door and it opened up. The three of them entered and they found Star passed out on the floor, lying face down on his stomach.
“We found him.” Spike said.
“Yeah but this isn’t good…” J said as he kneeled down beside Star.
“Is he okay?” Twilight asked.
J’s eyes widened, “His nose is bleeding…” He said.
Twilight stared silently at Star.
“What’s going on with him?” J asked, looking back at Twilight.
“We… need to get him back…” Twilight said shakily.
“Make sure nothing else happens to him.” J said as he stood up.
“Where are you going?” Spike questioned.
“We need the crown to get back. And I know where it is.” J said as he ran out of the lunch room and down into the main office. J got into the office he searched around until he found the safe the crown was being stored in.
“Can’t ever be easy to get something can it?” J asked himself as he got down on his knees in front of the safe. J looked over the safe before he started to go through old combinations for it.
After a few tries the safe opened.
“Finally… Now we can get the hell out of here…” J said to himself.
J felt an immediate pain as something smashed into his foot.
J yelped in surprise and pain and jumped back, holding his foot tightly.
“I’m glad to see you made it easy for us.” A familiar female voice said, giving a small laugh as she took the crown out of the safe.
“Goddamn it… You’re fucking stupid… I’m trying to help Star…” J said.
“Why would I care about that loser?” The voice said.
“Wha…” J mumbled.
The lights flickered on and a woman with red and orange colored hair was standing there with the crown.
“Fucking hell…” J said.
“Oh that was easy.” Diamond Tiara’s voice chimed in.
“Mmhm.” Silver Spoon chuckled.
“Rule one of robbing something. Nothing’s ever ‘That easy’.” J said. “You know I didn’t come in here alone right?”
“Yeah we saw Twilight and her mut.” The unnamed woman said.
“Wait, just Twilight an-” J stopped and smiled.
“What’s with you?” Diamond asked.
“Nothing. It’s just you have no idea what’s coming.” J said.
“I’m pretty sure I do. Oh boys!” The woman shouted. Three men walked into the room, one short one at around 4 ft, and two others about 6’2.
“Why don’t you introduce yourselves.” The woman said.
“Rover.” One of the tall ones said, wielding a baseball bat.
“Fido.” The second tall one said, holding a sledge hammer.
“Spot.” The smaller one said, playing with a butterfly knife.
“And we’re the Diamond Dogs.” All three of them said.
“Muscle eh?” J asked.
“Yeah we’re the muscle.” Spot said.
“Uh huh!” Rover nodded.
“Muscle!” Fido shouted, smashing the sledgehammer through Celestia’s desk. Everyone looked at Fido and stared at him. “Sorry…”
“Mmm. This doesn’t look to good for me…” J said as he closed his eyes. “Sure I’d probably be able to take out one…” He mumbled to himself. “God if only I’d thought ahead this would have been so much easier…”
“Yeah you’re such an idiot.” Rover laughed.
“So you’re just going to leave me here with the goons so they can take me out?” J asked.
“Not if you don’t be stupid.” The woman said.
“Well I’m still a threat to you.” J said.
“Mm… no not really.” The woman said.
“Oh? What’s to say I don’t have my crew at the ready if they don’t get a message from me with in the hour?” J asked.
“Well then we’d better leave now shouldn’t we?” The woman said, walking towards the exit of the office.
J reached into his pocket and fiddled around with something.
“What are you doing!” Diamond said, taking a step back.
“Pig!” Silver Spoon groaned.
“I guess it’s time for the second rule, ‘Check the exits first’.” J said.
The woman was pushed out of the way by Rover as a small man, around the size of Spot clung to his face. “MMMPH!” Rover’s shout was muffled as he clawed at the man with his nails.
“Keep up the good work Mouse!” Kit said as he ran in just in time to duck under a swing of Fido’s sledgehammer, punching him dead center in the crotch. Fido dropped the hammer and fell to the floor.
“Ohhh… That’s got to hurt…” J commented.
“Idiots!” The woman groaned.
“What do I do Sunset??” Diamond asked uncertainly as she backed against the wall with Silver Spoon.
“Take the crown!” Sunset shouted, tossing it to Diamond who caught it and immediately bolted for the exit.
Fez jumped in front of Diamond. “Mine!” Fez said as he was about to grab it.
Diamond screamed as she pulled out a bottle of pepper spray and shot him in the eyes. Fez shouted in pain and collapsed to the floor.
J quickly tore his phone out of his pocket and started putting something into it.
Rover continued to yell, swinging the bat around randomly.
“MOUSE LET GO NOW!” J shouted.
Mouse immediately let go and went sailing into Spot, sending the two of them to the floor.
A fist collided with Rover’s face sending him sprawling to the floor.
“Mmhm. That’s what I thought.” A tall man with a thick afro, barely contained by the hood he had on, said.
“The fuck.” Rover growled, holding his nose as he looked up at the man.
“Oh you’re still conscious?” The man questioned as he raised his foot and slammed it down on Rover’s crotch.
“Always dick…” Rover gasped, falling to the side in a fetal position.
The man pulled a few tubes out of his hoodie.
“Do something!” Sunset shouted. Fido had just gotten to his feet, recovered from the last crotch shot and charged at the man with his hammer.
The man lit a little fuse on one of the tubes and after a second a ball of blue fire shot out and hit Fido in the chest.
“AH!” Fido shouted, dropping the hammer and covering his face with his arms.
“Roman candles?” Silver Spoon questioned, glancing over to Diamond.
“Heh. Better than my gun amiright?” The man laughed.
“AH YOU DICK!” Fido grunted with each shot that hit him.
The man dropped the roman candles and pulled out a what looked like a hand grenade, his thumb already shoved in the pin.
Everyone in the room froze and stared at the man.
“We’ll ALL make it out of here alive if you drop eveBZZZZZMMMNNPHHHT” The man started shaking violently and the grenade dropped, it’s pin removed. Everyone turned to Silver Spoon and saw she was holding a taser.
“I was scared…” Silver mumbled.
J covered his eyes. Kit and Mouse covered their eyes too.
There was a loud ringing bang and a bright, blinding flash.
J uncovered his eyes and quickly scrambled up and charged Diamond.
Diamond was rubbing her eyes and blinked several times, looking at J just in time to let out a shriek and throw the crown in the air. “TAKE IT!” She said, covering her face immediately.
J still collided with her and sent her to the floor.
Diamond grunted as she hit the floor, a clinking sound was heard shortly after.
J grabbed the tiara and jumped to his feet.
“J wait!” Kit shouted.
“Nnn… bbnnn Fu…” The man stammered as the tasing finally died down and he fell to his knees. “Why you have to always tase the mexican?”
“WRONG CROWN DUMBASS!” Kit shouted loudly.
Diamond jumped up and jumped on J’s back, clinging tightly and hitting him repeatedly. “GIVE ME MY TIARA!” She screamed.
J chucked the tiara at Sunset.
Sunset caught the tiara and stared at it confused. She looked up just in time for Diamond to tackle her.
J stifled a laugh as he picked up the crown.
Everyone heard a whimpering. They all turned to the corner of the room to see Spot, holding his butterfly knife against Mouse’s throat. “Drop the crown.” He said.
J dropped the crown to the floor.
“Good, now back against the wall, ALL OF YOU.” Spot snarled, drawing blood as he pressed the knife a little harder against Mouse’s skin.
J stepped back away from the crown. “If you kill him you know you’ll be in deeper shit then just stealing something…” He said.
“She said that crown’ll make me taller and strong. I don’t give a fuck about this kid.” Spot chuckled. Mouse started to sob lightly.
“How will you use it if you’re strapped to a chair and about to be electrocuted for murder?” J questioned, still backing away.
Spot just stared at J and laughed.
Sunset pushed Diamond off her and stood up, walking towards the crown. She reached down to take it, only for Spike to burst in, grab it and run out. “The fucking hell?!” Sunset shouted.
J remained silent, looking just as stunned as she was.
“Dog took our shit!” Rover said as he and Fido bolted out of the room after Spike.
Sunset, Silver, and Diamond were about to follow when they both heard the two large men that had just run out scream.
“Oh god… We aren’t alone anymore.” J said.
A moment later Spike ran into the room again with the crown, looking extremely distressed. Fido and Rover followed shortly after, slamming the door shut and locking it.
“This can’t possibly be good…” J said.
“The hell are you so scared?” Sunset asked.
Rover and Fido pointed to the door, clenching their weapons tightly. “There’s someone out there.” They both said.
“It’s probably Twilight, she’s the only one not h-” Sunset was interrupted by a knocking on the door. Rover and Fido jumped back and leaned back against the wall next to J.
J stepped in front of the door.
“J?” Twilight’s voice called.
“Yes?” J said, a slight hesitation in his voice.
“Are you okay? You went in here awhile ago and… I sent Spike to see if you were okay. He came out and looked at me like he saw a ghost. It’s… really dark.” Twilight said, sounding slightly nervous.
“E… Everything’s fine.” J said.
“I still… I’m. I don’t know where Star is. Is he with you?” Twilight asked.
“No.” J said fearfully.
“Well I’ll j-” Twilight cut herself off immediately.
“Twilight?” J asked.
“Oh hey… Star…” Twilight said quietly. Everyone stood silently as they heard footsteps walking towards the door from the outside.
J started shaking and his eyes widened. His heart started to pound in his chest.
“Star where… did you get that?” Twilight asked, a little more fear in her voice.
J grabbed the door handle, his body attempting to force him not to.
“What are you doing?!” Fido said quietly.
“Saving… My friend…” J said shakily.
Fido and Rover grabbed J and held him against the wall.
“Let go of me!” J shouted.
Sunset snatched the taser from Silver and aimed it and J. “No one is going anywhere.” She said, sounding a little uncertain of the situation herself.
“If she dies then I swear to God I will KILL every one of you personally…” J growled.
Everyone’s attention shot to the door as they heard an almost ear piercing scream from Twilight.
J struggled against Fido and Rover’s grip. “LET ME GO!” He screamed.
The room grew deathly silent as Twilight’s scream was cut off abruptly.
J stopped struggling and his eye started to twitch.
Spike started to whimper lightly.
J remained silent as tears started to slide down his face.
Everyone was startled as the silence was broken by a slow knocking on the door.
J shook a little more and he closed his eyes tightly.
“J.” Star’s voice called through the door.
J started to cry a little more.
“I just want my friend. Can I have my friend?” Star asked, knocking on the door again.
J started to shake his head.
“What the hell is wrong with him?” Diamond asked shakily.
“I don’t know…” J mumbled.
“Don’t worry, Twilight’s just fine. But I want my friend back please.” Star said. Everyone in the room looked at J. Rover and Fido pushed him towards the door.
“You’re… all… Weak… Spineless cowards…” J said shakily.
Everyone besides J backed up against the wall and stared at him.
J turned slowly to the door and despite the resistance his body was giving him, he grabbed the handle and slowly turned it. Just as the door cracked in J’s direction it flew open, sending him backwards as Star tumbled into the room the Beck on his back. “YOU'RE NOT STAR!” She shrieked.
“What the fuck?!” Sunset sputtered.
J pushed himself up and silently stared at Beck and Star.
“Scatter!” Spot shouted. He, Rover, and Fido bolted out the door past Beck and Star and disappeared out the front door.
“Get back here!” Sunset shouted.
J attempted to get out the door to locate Twilight.
Star tossed Beck off and jumped to his feet, immediately turning to J.
J stopped dead in his tracks and faced Star.
“What the fuck did you do.” Star said, glaring at J.
“What are you talking about?” J questioned.
“You disappeared and now I’m stuck in this dying meatbag.” Star stated, walking up and hitting J in the face.
J reeled back, “What the fuck are you talking about? You’re not making the SLIGHTEST bit of sense!” He said. “I understand I disappeared but I don’t know how or why!”
“You know, if I had known where Star was going or any of this shit would have happened I woulda stayed in Clara.” Star trailed off, sighing as he scratching his head.
“Who’s Clara?” J asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Ou- You and Star’s daughter.” Star said.
“Um… I’m no doctor… But isn’t that a physical impossibility?” J questioned.
“Not when you can change genders at will.” Star said.
J just stared blankly at Star.
“The fuck is up with you? Why can’t you remember this shit, you hit your head or something?” Star asked, smacking J in the side of the head a few times.
“Knock it off. I don’t know what the fuck is going on.” J said, batting Star’s hand away. “And why the hell are you referring to yourself in third person?”
“I’m not himself, he’s himself. I’m me.” Star said bluntly. “Idiot…”
“You’re making absolutely NO sense.” J said. “I don’t… God damn it.”
“I’m not Star, he’s asleep.” Star whispered.
“Yeaaah… And I’m not J.” J said.
“If the hardest thing to believe that something could be living inside your best friend, you need to check yourself.” Star said.
“No. It’s just I don’t believe he’s dying.” J said. “A parasite is nothing new. I did own a dog that loved to eat shit.”
“You used to be a dog that ate shit.” Star corrected.
“Yeah. Yo- Star told me about being a werewolf.” J said.
Beck screamed as she dove at Star, only for him to catch her and toss her out of the room. He closed the door and locked it immediately. “Fuck off.” Star shouted as she started banging on the door.
“Fucking hell… If you aren’t Star then just go away and send him back.” J said.
Star turned to Sunset, who was standing in the corner alongside Diamond and Silver. “The fuck you want?” He growled, making them back against the wall. His eyes shot down to the crown Sunset was holding. “That thing is my ticket home, hand it the fuck over.”
“Come and take it from me.” Sunset said, aiming the taser at Star.
Star walked up to the man and stared down at him. “The hell’s your name?” He asked.
“It’s Funny.” The man said.
Star noticed the roman candles he had and snatched one.
“You’re gonna need something to light it.” Funny said.
Star held out his other hand and stared at Funny.
Funny flipped up a lighter, “I want it back.” He said as he handed it to Star.
“What’s he doing?” Silver whispered.
Star lit the candle and pointed it towards the ceiling. The first shot the the sprinkler and immediately started showering the room in water.
“Heh. Water destroys the charge. Nice idea.” J commented.
Sunset glanced between Star and J silently.
“You done yet?” J asked as he stared at Sunset. “Because I really don’t think you’re winning this.”
Sunset smirked. “Okay, take it.” She said, tossing Star the crown. Star caught it and smiled.
“Thank you.” Star said, turning around and unlocking the door.
“Star wait!” J said quickly.
The door burst open and Beck dove at Star, sending him to the floor and the crown in the air. Sunset snatched it and ran out of the room.
J charged out after her. His attention instantly being torn to Twilight who was on the floor injured. He turned and quickly got down beside Twilight.
“I’m… okay…” Twilight mumbled, clenching her head tightly. “He just hit me with something…”
“I’m still getting you out of here and to the hospital.” J said, beginning to pick her up.
“No n… no… just get the crown and… we can go home…” Twilight said.
“What’s the point of going home if we all can’t make it there?” J asked quietly as he lifted her up and started to carry her towards the exit.
“You’re… just as stupid as… back home.” Twilight mumbled, going limp as she passed out.
J kicked open the door and was quickly intercepted by another man.
“Get your car started now! We have to get her to the hospital!” J ordered.
The man saluted and charged off towards the parking lot. J turned just in time to see Kit, Fez, and Mouse dash past him in a hurry. He glanced back and saw Star in a full sprint towards J with Beck clinging to his back.
J just stared at Star.
Star bolted past J and after Sunset. As he hit the exit, Beck smashed her face at the top of the door and fell off, clutching her nose on the floor as Star disappeared.
Just as Star passed a car swerved up to the curb and one of the back doors was thrown open.
“Beck you alright?” J asked as he set Twilight down in the back of the car.
Beck stood up with a blank expression on her face, ignoring the blood running down her body.
“We’re heading to the hospital already so just get in the car.” J said.
Beck walked up to the car and sat down inside.
J slipped inside and slammed the door shut, the car shooting off shortly after.
Beck scooted closer to J and stared at him.
“What?” J questioned.
Beck put a hand on J’s shoulder, never taking her eyes off his.
“What?” J questioned again.
Both of Beck’s hands shot to J’s neck and started choking him.
J forced her off, “What the hell are you doing!?!?” He growled.
J held her away from him with his foot as she clawed at the air to get to him. “WHAT DID YOU DO TO STAR!” She screamed in a fit of rage.
“I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING! WE FOUND HIM PASSED OUT IN THE LUNCHROOM AND HE STARTED ACTING LIKE THIS!” J shouted back.
“I DON’T BELIEVE YOU!” Beck said, digging her fingernails into his leg and repeatedly clawing at it.
“WHY THE FUCK WOULD I DO ANYTHING TO STAR!?!?” J questioned as he kicked her roughly in the chest.
Beck’s eye twitched as she glared at J. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a switchblade.
“H… How’d you get that back…” J asked, now a bit of fear entering his tone.
“I was just wrestling with ‘Star’ for ten minutes. It wasn’t hard.” She said, gripping J’s leg as she raised the blade up. “Now start fucking talking.”
“I don’t fucking KNOW what happened to Star! I wish I fucking did so I could get him back to normal!” J said.
“Hey bitch.” The driver said.
“What?” Beck snapped.
“Stab him and I’ll see what color your brains are.” The driver said bluntly.
Beck responded by stabbing the blade into J’s leg.
J screamed and thrashed around.
The car came to a violent stop and Beck heard a click before something cold and metallic was pressed against her back.
Beck didn’t even turn back to look at who it was, staring at J as she held the knife in him.
“S… So you want to… Risk… Star when he comes back… Finding out you stabbed me? How do you think he’ll take that?” J questioned.
“You’re such a baby.” Beck stated, tearing the knife out.
“Nn… Yeah because I want to save my friend.” J grunted as he stared at Beck. “Jeffery, hospital now.”
“Fine.” Jeffery said as he swung back around and slammed on the gas.
Beck looked down at the wound in J’s leg. “Let me help with that.” She said, spitting in the cut.
J used his other foot to kick her head back against the window. “Fuck off.” He said.
Beck glared at him, clenching the switchblade tightly.
“Fucking stab me again and I’ll slit your damn throat.” J growled.
“I’m the one with the knife. But if you kick me again I’ll cut off all your toes.” Beck said, cutting a slit down J’s shoe and making it come undone. “And now you need new shoes.”

“Why?” Xana asked.

J sighed, “Things well beyond you.” He said.
Xana wrapped her arms around J. “Mind if I come in? I’ve missed you sweetie…” She cooed.
“Fine.” J said. “But I doubt you’ll recognize me anymore.”

A few moments later she came out and handed a glass to Star. She took the glass and poured the water onto her body, closing her eyes tightly shortly after.
“Are you feeling alright?” Willow asked.
Star’s eyes shot open as he took a sharp breath in. “NNNNHHHH WOOO!” She shouted, jumping up and bursting into a sprint. She slammed into the wall and fell back to the floor.

J sighed quietly as he slid down into the chair in his basement hideout. He stared silently up at the blank TV that hung on the wall across from his chair. He grabbed the remote and turned it on, turning the volume down to a level where he wouldn’t wake anyone up.
“If you call within the next fifteen minutes we’ll even throw in a free apple corer!” A man’s voice said.
“Damn it… Too late for anything good.” J sighed, throwing the remote down in defeat. As the remote hit the ground a random station came on.
“And next up is, Stargate SG-1. Sci-Fi Imagine Greater.”
“Oh never mind then.” J smiled as he leaned back in the chair and stared up at the screen. He slowly relaxed back and a small ease came over him. The door upstairs opened but J didn’t notice it. Footsteps were heard as Star walked down, her female form as naked as always.
“Oh you love your man caves don’t you.” Star hummed, looking slowly around the basement.
“Huh? Oh you’re awake. Sorry if I caused it.” J said as he looked back at Star. “And yes, I do. Sort of my little escape from the world.” As his eyes met Star’s she noticed the dark bags under his eyes that hadn’t been there when they both went to sleep.
“Joel? Are you alright?” Star asked curiously, taking a seat beside him.
“Can’t sleep. Had a nightmare.” J said as he looked back up at the TV. Star took the remote and clicked the TV off. J was unphased for a few moments before he realized the TV was off, “Why’d you do that?” He asked.
“You are tired. Sleep.” Star ordered.
“No. I don’t need to sleep.” J stated.
“Are you going to argue with me?” Star questioned, standing up and crossing her arms.
“I don’t want to sleep.” J said.
“Because of a dream?” Star raised an eyebrow.
“It’s… complicated.” J sighed quietly. She took a seat again, this time much closer.
“Talk to me about it.” Star said.
“The thing is… I don’t know. I just… feel scared to go back to sleep.” J said quietly. “Like something bad’s going to happen if I do go out again.”
“Nothing is going to happen. Want to know why?” Star asked.
J sighed, “Why.” He said. Star pulled J against her softly, guiding his head to her soft chest pillows.

“Oh so you want to drive?” J asked as he approached the car. Star simply nodded and held out his hand from the window. J dropped the keys into his hand and walked over to the passenger side and climbed in. “Let’s go!”
Star started up the car and stared down at the wheel.
“Star?” J asked.
“Never driven a car before.” Star started, shifting the gear into drive slowly.
“Well… It’s a good thing I have.” J chuckled. Star nodded, stepping on the gas and smacking J’s head back into the seat. “Lighter on the gas!” J grunted.
At school:

“Okay.” J shrugged. “What about him?”
“Ethan!” Star called.
The boy perked up and looked at Star before tilting his head slightly. “You still don’t have your memories ALL back yet do you Joel?” Star asked.
“Kinda hard to tell but I’m going to say not yet.” J said.
“Well that’s one of your sons.” Star chuckled, pointing to Ethan.
“Okay.” J nodded slowly. Star walked up to Ethan and smiled.
“Just couldn’t stay away could you?” Star joked, putting an arm around Ethan.
“Um… who… a… are you?” Ethan asked in a quiet voice, almost seeming utterly embarrassed. Star’s face slowly twisted to confusion.
“You don’t remember me? Or him?” Star continued, motioning to J.
Ethan looked at J and shook his head. Star stared at Ethan for a few more moments. “Alright this makes things complicated.” Star said.
“So… going for the kids was the plan then?” J asked.
“No but… Why is he he...er...e…” Star trailed off into a mumble as another familiar face walked by.
“Oh hi.” Clara waved, poking J’s nose before bolting away.
“What was that?” J questioned, seeming absolutely startled.
“Clara.” Star said slowly. “Our daughter, as in your and mine.”
“I… d... “ Ethan mumbled quietly.
“Well… if two of them are here… I can only assume that it means...” J started.
“Oh good.” Star sighed, hugging Ethan a little tighter. “Scavenger hunt.” Ethan remained absolutely stiff and silent as his face reddened.
“Yay. I love scavenger hunts.” J sighed. Star looked down at Ethan.
“So hows about you help us find our friends, I can already tell you have a crush on me, so let’s skip the formalities.” Star whispered before kissing Ethan’s cheek. Ethan blinked before he went limp. Star just laughed. “I’ll stay here with him, you go after Clara.”
“Sure.” J shrugged as he ran towards the general direction Clara went off in.
“Hey, what the heck are you doing!” A deep groan echoed off from ahead of J.
“Hugs.” Clara’s voice stated.
J slowly walked up and saw Clara with a tall and muscular boy. “I loooove you.” Clara said aloud, licking his ear roughly.

“Yes it is.” Clara repeated, ignoring her brother.
“My name is not stupid.” J said a little more loudly.

“Richard get him a blanket!” Clara shouted, shaking her brother violently.

J looked around before his eyes fell on someone standing in a doorway. “Okay… she wasn’t there a minute ago… But…” He started slowly.
“Hi you!” Clara waved to the mystery girl.
The girl stared momentarily at Clara before waving back. Clara smiled and bolted towards the girl. The girl stepped out of sight just moments before Clara reached her. “Wait!” Clara shouted, stopping dead in her tracks. Clara felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw the girl right behind her.
“Did… you see that?” Richard asked.
“Yes… Yes I did.” J nodded. Clara smiled widely and hugged the girl.
“Hi!” Clara giggled. The girl silently looked down at Clara with a small smile. “I think she likes me!” Clara called, hugging her tighter.
“Yeah, it looks like it.” Richard laughed a little.
The girl tapped Clara’s head once before pointing back at the other two. “He’s Silly.” Clara said, pointing to J. “And he’s my Big Brother Richy.” She continued, pointing to Richard. The girl stared silently at the two before slipping right out of Clara’s grasp and approaching them. She poked the both of them on the nose before giggling.
“I think she likes all of us.” J laughed. The girl looked at J and smiled widely before poking him again. She turned back to Clara and waved at her. Clara practically tackled the girl before running her tongue up her face, the tongue in Clara’s mouth seeming much longer than it should be. The girl simply stared at Clara for a moment before licking her back. Clara squealed with joy and returned to hugging her.
