A group of 3 masked ponies where hot on the trail of there next target. They finally cornered a female unicorn by the name of Money Banks. "P-please let me g-go," she said with terror filling her eyes, "I-I can give you m-money if y-you want". She tried to plead with them but there intentions where clear. One of the ponies stepped forwards and pulled a small device from its saddle bag. Money Banks tried to see what it was but it sent off a bright flash and she fell to the ground feeling weakened. "Do it," said a very large pony in a hood shielding his face. A smaller built pony stepped forwards and walked behind the frightened mare. She put one of her hooves on Money Bank's neck and the other positioned above her head. "W-what are you....." she was cut off as her horn fell off and she felt all magical abilities leave her body. She fell back to the ground on the verge of consciousness. The stallion stepped down on the horn crushing it underfoot and then the three set off leaving the traumatized pony in the alley way. Another success. *One week later* "Spike are you up yet?" yelled Twilight as she came upstairs. "Umm I'm right here," said Spike with an annoyed expression on his face as he walked out of the main part of the library. Twilight rushed over to him, today was to day, book dusting day! She had been looking forward to this ever since the last one a month ago. She began taking books off the shelf when she heard a load bang against the side of her tree. She rolled her eyes mouthing 'not today Rainbow Dash'. Rainbow Dash burst through the window sending shards of glass all over the place. "Rainbow Dash!" Twilight Sparkle yelled with anger booming in her voice. "Oh my god please Twilight you gotta help!" yelled Dash as she collapsed on the floor before Twilight. Twilights anger quickly faded as she saw general concern in her friends eyes. "What's wrong?" she asked helping the sobbing mare from the ground. "Fluttershy isn't home!" she yelled. Twilight promptly dropped Rainbow Dash back on the floor. "Well she has stuff to do," she said looking even more annoyed than before. "No her entire house is destroyed! There are holes on the wall, broken glass, and the door was off the hinges I think something really bad happened." Twilight turned back to her, 'is it...' she thought in her head thinking of only one possibility if it was an abduction. "Well come on lets go investigate, Spike clean up." she shouted as she grabbed a coat and sped out the door with Rainbow Dash trailing close behind. They ran down the street until they where stopped by a large gathering of ponies flooding the street, "not now," Rainbow Dash whined. "Good evening everypony." said a hooded pony wearing a white mask with slight yellowish white trimming and a red dot on the forehead. "From day one us earth ponies have been subjected to the unfair and unjust rule of unicorns and pegasi. When I was young me and my family lived in Canterlot. All of us where earth ponies, making us easy targets for the elitist unicorns and pegasi. They posed protection payments on earth ponies, one day my father confronted these ponies.... When I was still just a foal my mother and father were taken from me. It was soon after when I discovered a power that I was blessed with, me and two others. The ability to take away unicorn magic and pegasus flying." He paused looking at the crowed. "Me along with my brother and sister have been chosen to make all ponies equal, to bring about a new age of equality. For too long have the pegasi and unicorns oppressed the earth ponies. We plow their fields, we build their castles, we are nothing but slaves to them! Work or die? How is that fair? It's not, we are nothing to them! Anyone who speaks out is silenced. This has gone on for far too long! If we cannot work we die! Does this happen to unicorns? No. Does this happen to pegasi? No. How does this only happen to earth ponies? It is simple, for far too long we have had no way at all to defend ourselves, to stay safe and alive we have had to abide by their rule!" "What is this guy talking about?" Rainbow Dash asked to Twilight. "I thinks that's the Equalist guy," whispered Twilight. Rainbow Dash gave her a puzzled look before turning back to the man on stage. "We see what they cannot see, we feel what they cannot feel, and we know what they do not know. We are not the problem, we are the solution." He said as he pulled the mic from the stand. Three ponies where walked out on stage. Lyra Heartstrings, Cloud Chaser, and Fluttershy. Rainbow Dashes jaw dropped as she saw her up on stage shackled. "Today I shall enlighten the blinded!" he walked behind Lyra and placed a hoof on her neck and another above her head, he brought his other hoof down on to the crown of her head. Her horn fell off and her eyes went blank. The crowed went silent. Lyra stared at her horn in horror. He moved to Cloud Chaser who was thrashing about "let me go please!" she pleaded. He placed his hoof on her neck and brought his hoof down on her head, her wings fell off and skin formed quickly giving the appearance she never had wings. He walked over to Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash tried flying but her wings where cut up from flying threw Twilight window, and Twilight was in to much shock to realize what was really going on. He placed his hoof on her neck and looked down on her. "This is one of the mane six, a group of ponies that have saved us several times yet, she holds her supremacy of pegasi to heart". He brought his hoof down and did the same thing he had done to the last two. Rainbow Dash just fell to the ground sobbing. Twilight was still too shocked to move. "Why would anyone give up liberty in a free society? Us earth ponies have had to give up our liberties in a free society, but in reality it is free only for those who can fly or those who possess magical abilities. Our time is now. We don't simply want equality, we demand it." The crowed roared in support, the earth ponies at least. "This is a new dawn for ponyville, but this is just the start. One day we will all be equal. No longer are we to be sheep's but we will be the wolves." He put the pic back in the stand and left the stage. Twilight regained her composer and looked on stage. Bonbon was rushing to Lyra's side and Rainbow Dash was pushing through the crowed. "It just can be real, a pony who can take the abilities from other ponies without any kind of magic." Twilight stood their puzzling over the matter. "All the stories, the where just myths from Canterlot." Twilight tried to convince herself that it was all just fake. But she still had one question, who is that pony? How can he take away abilities like that? *Later that night* "This doesn't make sense!" Twilight threw a book across the room in frustration. Rainbow Dash had taken Fluttershy to Zecora to see if she may be able to help, no one in ponyville knew how to help. She let out a sigh and went to write a letter to the princess. "Dear Princess Celestia, I am sure you already heard by now but Fluttershy has had her ability to fly taken away, this guy can take away magic and flying without magic! I am so confused and I can't help I just don't know how. Please tell me you know a cure, maybe Discord could even help out. Yours truly Twilight Sparkle"
