Chapters Doctor Derpy; an Odd Love
One day, after months of traveling abroad, Doctor Whooves and Derpy Hooves returned to present day Ponyville. Derpy was happy to be able to see her friends while The Doctor was just happy to see her in a nice mood. Derpy had been depressed the last few days, much to The Doctor's disappointment. He didn't know why which made him feel even worse.
"Come on Doctor! I want you to meet Carrot Top!" Derpy said excitedly. Maybe she was just homesick, since she hasn't been here in 6 months The Doctor thought. He followed the grey walled eye mare out of the TARDIS and out into the market.
"Carrot Top! Carrot Top! I'm back!" Derpy called to her yellow and orange friend, The Doctor not far behind. Carrot Top, standing behind her carrot stand, looked to see her former roommate flying towards her, stallion in tow.
"Hey Ditzy Doo, long time no see, how has traveling been? And who is that behind you?"
"I like being called Derpy Hooves, Carrot. Traveling has been good and that's who I travel with. His name is The Doctor."
"Doctor Who?"
"Just The Doctor" Doctor Whooves interjected. Carrot Top flagged a white pegasus with a blue and purple mane over to her and her group.
"Shimmer Rose, do you know him? I mean, you are Derpy's cousin after all" Carrot Top told her friend. Oh dear! I don't want The Doctor to meet my cousin...crap! Derpy thought with concern. Shimmer Rose looked at the brown stallion and shook her head.
"No sorry. I don't. She SHOULD tell me when she gets a stallionfriend next time though." When she said that, Derpy and Doctor Whooves blushed at the ridiculous statement.
"W-we a-arnt a c-couple!" they stammered in unison.
"Cute" Carrot Top teased. That made them blush even more than before. "Well, it was nice to see you Ditz-Derpy and certainly nice to meet you, Doctor. Come on, Shimmer Rose, my shift's over. Bye" Carrot Top left with Shimmer Rose, leaving the two blushing ponies alone.
"Sorry about my cousin, Doctor. She can get the wrong impression. She wants me to get a stallionfriend so we can go on a double date."
The Doctor looked confused. "Who's your cousin's ssp?"
"Some foreign prince named Autumn Leaf. He's from a kingdom where the pegasi have metal in their wings since birth. Boy, would that hurt." Derpy rubbed her feathery wings.
"It's ok. Now, which way to your house? I have a sudden craving for a muffin."
5 minutes later, they end up at Derpy's house, fairly hungry. "What type doctor? Blueberry? Bran? Blueberry bran?" He looked down for a second, thinking.
"How 'bout blueberry bran. That sounds good."
Derpy got all giddy with excitment. "It is! OMG I havent made those in FOREVER! Come on, have a seat." The doctor sat down on the cushy pillow and watched her work. Derpy got all the mane stuff and started. The Doctor loved when she baked. It was fun to watch in his opinion. Half an hour later, the muffins were done and she served one to Doctor Whooves.
"*munches* this is an amazing! The best yet, in fact. Can I have another?"
"Of course Doctor! Here" Suddenly, Carrot Top walks through the door, instantly seeing the duo.
"Oh! Your here too, doctor, what a nice suprise" she said flirtatiosly.
"Eww" said Derpy.
"Oh Ditzy Doo, come now. Cant you let me have some fun!"
"NO! Get you hooves off the Doctor!" She pushed Carrot Top away from him and onto the floor. The Doctor looked suprised.
"Derpy! Why did you do that!" He yelled at her.
Derpy blushed "I...I...I got to go!" She flew off, the Doctor galloping close behind, trying to catch up.
"Derpy! Wait!!!"
She flew deep into the everfree forest and hid away in the castle of the two sisters. She sat in Princess Celestia's old room and cried. "I don't want him to be mad at me. I really don't" she said to herself. "And Carrot Top," she continued, "she,,,she took it too far. I cant imagine what she would do to him. I just want him to myself. I...I...love the Doctor." The Doctor walked in at that point and was shocked to hear her.
"Derpy, you love me?!" Derpy blushed and shyly nodded her head. "I...I...cant believe it! I didn't know that you had similar feelin-oh dear." She looked back up.
"What! You like me doctor!"
"No Derpy, I I I love you" The Doctor blushed as he said his reveling statement. Derpy's face cleared up instantly. She tackled him in a happy hug and then kissed him. He kissed back, knowing it was the right thing to do. After a while, the kiss broke and to their disappointment, they snapped back into reality. "Lets get back to the TARDIS" said the doctor happily. She nodded as they walked "home".

Enter Derpy's Lovely Little Muffin
"Well, Doc, where should we go next?" said Derpy as the newly lovestruck couple went into the TARDIS.
"Well, I thought we'd go to Canterlot. I feel like there is something or someone is drawing me there" He shocked Derpy and she gave him a uh huh look. "What!" Derpy chuckled and nudged her ssp. He nudged back. Derpy fell over and laughed, her eyes going in all directions. "Haha! Allons-y to Canterlot!" The TARDIS engine wooshed and soon later, they were in Canterlot.
"Well, here we are!" said Derpy, stepping out into the cool Canterlot air. The Doctor followed her. Then, they heard a faint crying in the distance. "What is that Doctor?"
"It sounds like a baby foal crying, my dear" The Doctor Replied to his yellow eyed marefriend. Derpy blushed at the "my dear" part. As the duo drew closer to the sound, it tended to get softer, like it was waiting for them. They finally came upon the crying foal to find it abandoned.
"Oh dear, Doctor! This filly is all alone, no parents or anything to take care of her. What do we do?" Her face shown with concern.
"Well, uh...Derpy, if, you know, you want to keep her..." Derpy's face lit up!
"I can keep her Doctor!? Thank you! She'll be my little muffin. I-'
"OUR little muffin, you meen?" Derpy nodded her head excitedly.
"Of course! She's our little muffin now. What should we call her?"
"hmmm...how about Georgia?" Derpy gave him a are you serious? look than said
"How about Dinky Doo?" The Doctor's expression lightened a bit.
"Yes, what a perfect name! Well Derpy, our little muffin, Dinky Doo the unicorn. I have a feeling that she will do great things!" Derpy looked at her new daughter and laughed a bit."Welcome to our endless world, Dinky." Dinky giggled.
Filly on back, Derpy was flying a bit above the Doctor, exploring more of Canterlot than any of them had ever seen. "Dinky seems to be having a fun time...I wonder who her real parents are?" Dinky's face dimmed. So did Derpy's.
"Oh Doc, please dont talk about that in front of her, she is gonna be happy with us and there is no reason that we need to inform her about this." She did an in-air summersalt, making Dinky giggle again. The Doctor had a small smile come across his face, seeing his marefriend and their newly found daughter happy and playing. Oh good times! He thought happily to himself. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a yell of terror came from north of them.
"Allons-y Derpy and Dinky!" The three of them rushed off to help.
When they arrived at the scene, The Doctor jumped right in. He shot the monster with his sonic screwdriver, making it fall and disappear. Then 10 replaced the one. "Uh oh!" said the doctor. The pony who screamed was cornered against a wall. At that same moment, Derpy and Dinky were cornered against a different wall.
"Doctor!' Derpy yelled and Derpy started crying.
"Help me!" yelled the other mare. Derpy screamed once more, making him turn towards them. What do I do?! Oh dear! The Doctor thought as he looked between the three mares.
"Hold on!" he said to Derpy and Dinky as he ran to the other mare and wiped out all the villains. "Im coming my muffins!" He than said to the two purple mares who were still cornered. One of the monsters hit the two making them fly far off. "GET AWAY FROM MY FAMILY!!!" The Doctor yelled and fought off them. As the last ran off, Doctor Whooves galloped over to his damaged family. "Derpy, Dinky, are you alright!?" he cried.
Derpy nodded and looked at her daughter. "Yes," she said weakly, "we are alright." The three hugged but they heard another distant cry. It seemed familiar to the group and the Doctor turned to see the same mare as before being attacked once more. Dont these guys ever give up!? he thought, a bored expression on his face. "Come on! Help her, Doctor!!!" Derpy pleaded.
"Fine!" He responded. Then the Doctor galloped off but by then, it was too late. The mare was knocked out and the monsters went away.
"Oh dear!" Derpy said with tears in her eyes.
"I was too late. I shouldn't have hesitated. This is all my fault." Other ponies showed up and took her to the Canterlot Hospital. At that moment, Derpy put a hoof on her crying stallionfriend's shoulder to comfort him. "Thank you Derpy. Now, should we get back to Ponyville? It's getting rather late." The Doctor stated looking at Celestia starting to lower the sun. "Lets go.
Arriving back in Ponyville, Derpy flew out of the TARDIS and into the sky, showing baby Dinky her town.
"Ditzy Doo!" someone called from the ground. She looked down to see Applejack waving up to her.
"Oh hello, Applejack. How are things?" Applejack was about to ask when she saw the purple unicorn filly laughing and having a good time on Derpy's back.
"Who in the whole wide world of Equestria is that?!" She pointed at Dinky with a orange hoof.
"Oh...uh..."

I don't know why I made Dinky adopted...maybe 'cause Doctor Whooves and Derpy were only a couple. But I still like the idea of them being a family. Plus it will fit it with the sequel...oops! Crap! I just gave a spoiler. Have fun looking forwards to that.

Epiloge: Dinky's Terrifing Question
Years later, Dinky had grown up to be a nice and very smart filly, much to her absent father's prediction. Out of all the unicorns in her class, she was the most powerful, yet she still didn't have her cutie mark. As she grew, however, she became more and more suspicious. She wanted to know who her father was, and she wanted to know now. As Derpy was watering the flowers, Dinky and her friend Pipsqueak walked into her garden.
"Oh! Hello kids, want a muffin?" Derpy said as they entered the dining room.
"Sure! Id love a muffin, Ms. Hooves! Thanks!"
"Sure mom" Dinky said slately.
"Oh? Is something wrong, Dinky?"
"Yeah, is something wrong Dink?" Dinky looked away from her concerned mom and friend. She whipped around so fast that her horn hit the muffins her mother was holding and flung them across the room.
"YES THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG! I WANT TO KNOW NOW!!!!!!" she yelled at the top of her lungs. Her mother and best friend looked super shocked at that.
"Now come down my muffin, please dont be like this."
"I'LL ACT HOWEVER I WANT MOM! I WANT ANSWERS ABOUT MY FATHER! WHO WAS HE! STOP KEEPING IT FROM ME!" At this point, she had started crying while saying this.
Derpy gasped. "Honey, your father is a brilliant stallion who travels the stars. You knew him once. But that's all I can say." Dinky inhaled a very sad breath.
"ALL YOU CAN SAY? ALL YOU CAN SAY!? MOM! I KNOW YOU KNOW MORE, I KNOW THAT!!!"
"I promised." Dinky looked confused.
"You...what!?" Derpy looked at her daughter, her eyes falling normal.
"I promised your father to keep him a secret from you. I'm sorry, but I can't tell you. It's for your own good." Dinky started to cry again, this time not of sadness, but of sorrow. The other two embraced her as hardly as they could.
"I'm sorry, I've got to go!"
Dinky galloped out of her house and out to the White Tail woods next door. She sat on a bench crying and planning. "What are you planning?" Pipsqueak asked, as if he knew what she was thinking.
"Oh...hi Pip. Just doing some thinking."
" About what?" Dinky hopped off the bench, Pip not far behind.
"Im gonna find out who my father is, if it's the last thing I do!"

Explanations and Goodbye Promises
Derpy landed in front of Applejack with splats of red on her face. "Well, this is my daughter, Dinky Doo. I adopted her cause she was stranded and all alone in a Canterlot alleyway. Time Turner and I couldn't just leave her."
"Wait a sec, does that mean that she is not only your daughter, but she's Time Turner's as well?! I thought you two were just friends!?" The Doctor/Time Turner walked up behind her and told AJ
"We are together, ok? That's final. You got that?" Derpy blushed.
"Golly, uh, I dinn't know that. Uh...sorry to ask. See ya." Applejack left.
"Thank you Doctor. How did you know I was here?"
The Doctor replied "Oh, I just followed the sound of Dinky giggling." As if on que, Dinky giggled happily.
"Well, I think that we should give her her first muffin? What about you?" said Derpy.
They walked slowly through the packed streets, careful not to bump into other ponies. It seemed rather busy, at least more than it was earlier that day. Finally, they came to Derpy's house. Derpy sat Dinky in a home made baby chair from when she was a filly and got the muffins from earlier. "Here you go my muffin!" She handed err... hoofed a muffin to the table in front of Dinky. The light purple unicorn took a small bite and then her face lit up. She smashed her muzzle into the muffin and ate it.
"I guess she does like muffins" said Time Turner. Derpy looked happy when she said
"Yes, she does. Now, I think after that big muffin, she needs to sleep." The twosome looked at their now tired and full daughter. He nodded. Derpy picked up Dinky and carried her off to her room. Derpy placed her down onto the bed and sung her a lullaby. Then she tucked her in and kissed her goodnight. Then the Doctor silently asked her to come outside.
"What do you want to talk about?" Derpy asked.
Doctor Whooves looked down sadly. "I...I didn't want to tell you but, I...I am leaving. I'm sorry, I. I just can't stay in one place for so long. I love being with you and our daughter but..."
"But you don't want us hurt, do you?"
"Exactly, Im so sorry it has to be this way but with me, I will only cause you two pain. Have Princess Twilight erase any memory of today from Dinky. I have to go." Doctor Whooves galloped off, leaving Derpy in the dark and starlit sky. Before he was too far away, he turned and said, "I'll come back, someday." Than he left. Derpy then galloped off to Twilight.

Sorry for the very short chapter but I am really looking forward to the spoiler from the last note. I stuck to the headcannons of Dinky not knowing who her father is and i like that. So if you dont like the headcannon, stop reading! See ya!
