Doctor Whooves: Past Adventuresby JohnSmith1963ChaptersPrologue: An unexpected visitChapter 1: Running AwayChapter 2: Doctor... Who?Chapter 3: Commander HurricaneDoctor-lite 1: Saving a friendPrologue: An unexpected visitFriendship Rainbow Kingdom, 9:00 PM Princess Twilight Sparkle is having a peaceful night on her new Friendship Rainbow Kingdom, having defeated Tirek just hours ago. "It's been a day Spike..." Twilight yawned as she lay her body to rest on her soft new bed. "It sure was, Twilight. I'm gonna miss the old library..." Spike said as he gets ready for bed. He slowly crawl up to his little basket. "I'm sure you'll get used to it." Twilight turned off the lights as she cuddles up on the bed, hovering her blanket over her body using her magic. Everything is peaceful. The peaceful whistle of the gentle breeze of air, the ticking of an alarm clock. Twilight is happy that everything is doing fine after what happened during Lord Tirek's destruction. Twilight slowly closes her eyes as she feels the comfort of her new bed, slowly drifting her off to sleep. "Twilight...?" Twilight opens her eyes again as Spike broke the peaceful silence. "Yes, Spike?" "Do you remember him?" Spike asked as he stares at the clock. The clock reminding him of a time travelling friend. "Remember who?" Twilight changes her position on the bed to look at Spike. Cuddling her pillow. "You know! The stallion with the necktie, brown mane, hourglass cutie mark?" Spike said, looking back at Twilight. "The blue box that is bigger on the... inside...?" "Oh! You mean Time Turner?" Twilight remembers her old raggedy friend that she used to travel with. "I never saw him again after he left... I hope he's doing okay." "I like calling him "The Doctor" more than Time Turner." "Alright, Spike. Time for bed. Tomorrow's gonna be a very busy day." Twilight hovers her blanket over head. Spike shrugs. The baby dragon finally closes his eyes as well, letting the peaceful atmosphere bring him to sleep... It was a peaceful night besides Spike's snoring. Sounds of crickets, the alarm clock, the gentle whistle of air. Who wouldn't fall asleep with that? Friendship Rainbow Kingdom, 2:50 AM Princess Twilight and Spike are comfortably sleeping. Everything was still very peaceful after a few hours later... Until... Spike twitches as strange noise is heard. He tried ignoring it by putting his pillow over his head, but the sound keeps getting louder and louder. "Vwoorp... Vwoorp... Vwoorp..." Spike, having been woken up by the noise, slowly opens his eyes. He gets up from his bed and walked towards the window to take a look. "What's with all that noise?" He whispered to himself while rubbing both his eyes. His eyes widened as soon as he opened them, a familiar blue box is seen just in front of the entrance of Twilight's Kingdom. Spike was astonished, he was almost speechless. Spike ran to Twilight's bed and tried shaking his best friend to wake her up. "Twilight! Twilight!" Spike repeatedly said as he tries to wake Twilight up. "He's here!" Twilight simply turned her back from Spike, continuing to sleep. "Just... go to bed... Spike..." Spike ran to the other side of the bed where Twilight is facing, he tried to wake her up again. "But you need to take a look. Somepony came to visit." "Who?" "The Doctor..." Spike said in a dramatic manner. "You're just imagining things, Spike. I don't think he'll come back." Twilight said, annoyed. "Twilight, just please take a look outside the window." Spike sighed. "Ugh, Fine..." Twilight stood up from her bed, slowly heading towards the window. "I'm telling you Spike, there's nothing out here! See? You're just-" Twilight froze as soon as she sees the blue box. "Well? Am I still using my imagination?" Spike sarcastically asked. "Stay here!" Twilight trotted out of the bedroom, down to the stairs and went outside. She never saw this blue box for around 4 years now. She slowly walks towards it, feeling both fear and excitment. She slowly raises her hoof and knocked four times on the blue box's door. "D...Doctor...?" Twilight nervously said. The door started opening by itself very slowly with slow creaking sounds. Twilight slowly stepped back a few inches, gulping. The alicorn slowly went inside the blue box, the inside was bigger than the outside and it was dark. Most of the lights were off and it was very eeriely silent than how she remembered it. All she could hear was the strange familiar humming noise. The familiar crystal-like component on the center that goes up and down when the blue box is flying across the time vortex is the only source of light. However, it was kinda dim... Twilight walked around the control console, she looks at all the complicated buttons and levers on it. As she continued to look around, she stepped on something... Some sort of recording device. It began playing a recording of the Doctor's voice. "Twilight Sparkle? Twilight? Can you hear me? This is the Doctor speaking. If you can hear this, then that means the autopiloted TARDIS has successfully landed onto your location. Derpy and I are in big trouble, as in BIG! We are stuck in the -static noise- planet known as... -static noise- ... And then... -long static noise- ...It is written on my diary... -long static noise- ... You got that? Molto Bene! Good luck!" The recording ends. "What planet!? Got what!? Diary?! Oh no..." Twilight started to get worried. "He said something about his diary! I need to know where it is... I hope I don't have to get lost inside those corridors again." Twilight suddenly stopped walking as she stepped on something hard and thick... She looked down on what it was. It was a book. Out of curiousity, Twilight picked it up. It was the Doctor's diary. She remembered him having a "Five Hundred Year Diary", now he has a "Nine Hundred Year Diary" Twilight always wanted to read the Doctor's diary but she never got the chance. "His diary! Well, that was kinda easy... The name of that planet should be written in here somewhere..." Twilight said as she flicked through the pages of the diary. There were so many planets listed on it. Skaro Midnight Earth Gallifrey And the lists goes on and on... Which planet is the Doctor trapped in? Twilight tried checking the very last page of the book, she instead found the diary also contained events that didn't even happen yet and that there were more pages than it looked like when the book is closed. The only way to know which planet the Doctor is trapped in is to read through all things written on the diary. This may take awhile but hey, wibbly wobbly timey wimey. She got a time machine with her, she can take as long as she needs and still be in time. "Okay, Doctor... I'll come save you... I hope..." Chapter 1: Running AwayFriendship Rainbow Kingdom, 3:20 AM Princess Twilight went back to her bedroom, putting the diary on her desk. Spike looked over Twilight's shoulders, trying to see what Twilight is messing with. "What's wrong, Twilight? Where's the Doctor? You look kinda... worried..." Spike asked. "The Doctor is in danger, Spike! He needs us!" Twilight said as she opens the book and began reading. "This diary also contains future events that hasn't even occured yet. We can't just browse any page on this diary because it's too risky. We have to be careful and read from the very first page." "So you plan on reading 900 years of the Doctor's life until you find what you need?" Spike paused. "Won't that take a VERY long time?" "We've got a time machine, Spike. We can take all the time we need. Now, we can start with this entry right here, the very first one written on the book." Twilight starts reading the first page of the diary loud enough for Spike to hear... Gallifrey, A very long time ago... A young grey colt with an hourglass cutie mark is playing around with his friend on a place known as Mount Perdition. The other colt was white with a similar but sightly different hourglass cutie mark. They played around the fields of red grass. The sky was orange and the mountains were snow-capped. This planet is also known as the "Shining World of the Seven Systems" "Keep up, Koschei!" The small foal yelled. The two little colts play for hours around the field as best of friends. They both had a strong bond. They would play and swim on the river as time goes on, they were almost like brothers. That's until the father of the grey colt's friend arrives. "Just a little longer, please, Father?" Koschei pleaded. The father picked up his son and walked away, not even saying a word to the grey colt. The grey colt became upset and went back home. He enters his house and his mother greeted him. "Did you have fun, my son?" His mother asked. "No... He had to go early again... The grey colt sat down on his little chair, "Everything is no fun at all" "Oh, so you want something that isn't boring, Hmmm? the mother sat next to her son, "Let me tell you the story of Grandfather Paradox. Will that make you feel better?" The story went something like this, a time traveller went back in time to his own past and murdered his own grandfather. This caused Grandfather Paradox to be both victim and murderer at the same time, resulting in him only having one arm. This would scare the little grey colt and would now check around the house for any sighting of Grandfather Paradox. The mother knew what his son would become in the future... A few years later... The little grey colt was now a teenage stallion with black mane. He still hangs out with his friend, Koschei, during his years in the academy. The two would have fun almost exactly the same way when they were colts, Koschei would hypnotize others as a practical joke while the grey teenage stallion would free them. Everything was doing fine... Until one visit to a river known as Lethe. The grey teenage stallion would see his friend being bullied. The bully would then try to kill Koschei by drowning him in the river. The grey teenage stallion quickly runs to his rescue. "Stop! Stop it! He didn't do anything!" The grey teenage stallion shouted. The bully ignored the grey teenage stallion, continuing to torture his friend. "I-I'm warning you!" The grey teenage stallion began shaking, picking up a heavy nearby rock. This didn't do any good. The grey teenage stallion then suddenly struck the bully on the head, he continued bashing the bully's skull with the rock as the regeneration sets in, he kept hitting and hitting until the regeneration process stops, killing the bully and saving his friend's life. "I... killed him..." The grey teenage stallion whispered in guilt, looking at the battered skull of the bully's corpse. The two then burnt the body so nopony could find it. Fleeing the scene as fast as they could. These events would change the teenage grey stallion forever. Several years later... The grey teenage stallion is now a grey elderly stallion with white mane. He now has a granddaughter, a mare named Susan. The two are sneaking inside a repair shop... The grey elderly stallion was stubborn, grumpy and very gruff "Keep your voice down, Susan." Whispered the grey elderly stallion. "But what if they see us?" His faithful granddaughter replied. The grey elderly stallion looks around the corner, after that, the two slowly walk down the hallway. The grey elderly stallion always wanted to leave his 'boring' planet and explore the universe. He wanted to see the stars since the start. He hopes that this is his chance to run away... They approach a faulty machine, the doors opening automatically as they approached. "You go first, Susan." The elderly stallion said. The machine was bigger on the inside. The walls was white with strange round things known as 'roundels' cover it, with the control console on the center. "Susan! Get out of there." The elderly stallion commanded. "What's wrong, Grandfather?" Susan asked as she comes out of the machine. "Some strange lady told us not to steal that one." The grey elderly stallion then walks towards the other nearby machine, "Instead, we steal THIS one." Meanwhile, at the Citadel... "Something's wrong...?" "It's the repair shop... What kind of idiot would steal a faulty TARDIS?" Friendship Rainbow Kingdom, 3:40 AM "That was... surreal..." Spike commented. "Okay, the name of the planet was obviously not there... We have to continue reading!" Twilight said. "Can't we just skip through all those stories? We'd probably be dead by the time we finish it!" "Spike, the Doctor goes forward and backwards in time, every page in this book could contain future events. The only way we can be careful is to read it from the first page up to the one where the name of the planet is written, alright?" Twilight said as she continues reading. 76 Trotter's Lane, Equestria, 1963 The grey elderly stallion comes out of the machine which has now transformed into a familiar blue box... "Grandfather, where are we?" Susan asked. "I do not know, my dear. But we cannot find out if we do not explore it now, can we?" Chapter 2: Doctor... Who?76 Trotter's Lane, Equestria, 1963 Susan liked this era of Equestria. She made lots of friends and even attented school. She lives inside the blue box alongside her Grandfather. The blue box is parked on I.M. Foalman's junkyard. Susan, just having arrived from school, goes home to the blue box. "There you are, Grandfather." Susan said, seeing her grandfather. The grey elderly stallion lets his granddaughter enter the blue box. As he was about to go inside and follow her, a voice caught his attention. "Excuse me." The grey elderly stallion looks back, seeing a red younger stallion. The stallion wears a suit with a cutie mark of a test tube filled with green liquid, indicating he is a science teacher. The stallion approaches the grey elderly stallion to ask for Susan's whereabouts. "We're looking for a young mare... I saw her enter that strange blue box..." The stallion examines the blue box, he never saw anything like it as no such thing exist in Equestria. ...What is it?" "The chameleon circuit got stuck when we visited Canterlot High. Now, tell me why you are here." The grey elderly stallion demanded. "Canterlot High...?" The stallion wondered, knowing he never heard of it before. He has been on Canterlot but there is no "Canterlot High" "A place in another world where everypony stand on two legs. Now, tell me what you are doing here, you insolent child!" The grey elderly stallion yelled. "We're just looking for one of our pupils. She went here." The stallion answered. "We?" Another stranger arrives, this time, a blue mare, she has a single basic flower as a cutie mark. The grey elderly stallion was familiar with the mare's face as he had already seen her multiple times on the same school where Susan goes to. The grey elderly stallion doesn't like this... "G-Good eve-" The blue mare was able to finish her greeting as the grey elderly stallion rudely interrupted her as he suddenly yelled. "Have you been spying on us!?" The grey elderly stallion asked, clearly angered. "Grandfather! What's going on!" Susan called out from inside the blue box. "Susan!" Cried both the mare and the stallion. They approached the blue box and slowly opens the door. "Don't you go in there, I'm warning you." The elderly stallion said in grimace. However, the pair ignored the grey elderly's warnings, they still entered the mysterious blue box that happens to be in the middle of a junkyard. As they entered, they were speechless of what they saw. It was bigger on the inside. A strange machine was on the center, strange humming noise and very advanced technology. The grey elderly stallion followed them inside as they were speechless and motionless. "Susan, close the doors." The grey elderly stallion demanded his granddaughter. "But... Grandfather!" "NOW!" Susan pushes a button on the control console causing the doors to close behind the stallion and the mare. The red stallion starts banging on the door demanded to be let out while the blue mare starts to get nervous. The stallion then glares at the grey elderly stallion. The grey elderly stallion puts his coat on the chair. "What are you doing?! Explain this right now!" The stallion said as he angrily approaches the grey elderly stallion. "Explain this to you? Hmph! You're the one who went in here the first place. Tell me why must I need to explain this to you?" The grey elderly stallion starts pulling levers and pushing buttons on the control console, everything starts shaking with loud noises as the central column of the control console starts going up and down. "Vwoorp... Vwoorp... Vwoorp..." "Grandfather! What are you doing?" Susan asked as the blue box starts taking off and leaving Trotter's Lane, she tries to stop her grandfather from touching the controls but he just shoved her off. "Let go of me, child!" "It's an illusion... It must be..." The stallion said as he looks at the monitor showing the time vortex. "Where are you taking them, grandfather?! Stop!" Susan cried, desperately trying to stop the grey elderly stallion. The blue box seems to be going faster and faster across the time vortex... The shaking slowly becomes worse every minute... "Taking us? Taking us where!? Susan, what are you talking about, exactly?" The stallion was just even more confused. "The TARDIS can go anywhere in time and space. It can go to any point in time of any planet's existence." Susan explained that the blue box was actually a Gallifreyan spaceship. "I'm not understanding you, Susan." The mare asked. "I made up the name TARDIS from the initials! Time and Relative Dimensions in Space!" Susan then puts her attention towards her grandfather. "Just please bring them back home, grandfather! They didn't do anything offensive." "Listen, my dear child. If I let them go, they'll report us to their so-called "Princess" and then we'll gain attention and become public spectacles, a subject for news and idle gossip! They are bound to make share of their experiences and cause it to spread all throughout this land! I cannot let that happen, Susan. If I've to let them go, then we must go back to Gallifrey." The grey elderly stallion argued. "You got that, my dear?" "Grandfather! They're nice gentlecolts! Can't you trust them?" "I'm not sure I could trust that face..." The grey elderly stallion glared at the red stallion. "Fine, I'll let them go... But we'll never be returning ever AGAIN. Got that, Susan?" "I won't leave this place, grandfather. I won't leave Equestria. I'd rather leave the TARDIS and you." "P-Please... Please, Dr. Foalman. Let us go and we will not tell anypony about this!" The blue mare said, clearly scared and wanting to get out so badly. "Doctor who? What is she talking about?" The grey elderly stallion was confused. Both the mare and the stallion started calling the old pony 'The Doctor' for not knowing his true name. "Just open the doors! This old trick doesn't scare me!" The stallion commanded, he is clearly starting to lose his temper. "No." The Doctor answered. "Listen, I've seen magic even better than this! I've seen Princess Celestia raise the sun!" "Wrong, child. Your 'Princess' is not raising the sun. She is simply moving your planet's gravitational orbit as well as its rotation. She's just giving the illusion of moving the sun. I bet you haven't seen ponies go through other dimensions." The Doctor was annoyed by the red stallion, he dislikes every bit of him. "They are coming with us, either if they like it or not!" Something suddenly hits the TARDIS, causing it to bounce all over the time vortex. It spun around violently as it starts to crash. Inside, the lights were going on and off as electricity were exploding all over the control console while a bell-like ring is heard. The Doctor holds onto the control console... "Grandfather, what's happening!?" Susan panicked. "We've probably crashed onto something, hold on, Susan!" "I've had enough of this! Open the doors now, for Celestia's sake!" The stallion makes his way towards the control console and starts pushing random buttons. "STOP, YOU IMBECILE!" The Doctor yelled. The stallion pushes a certain button, the doors starts opening slowly, revealing the time vortex. The TARDIS spins around uncontrollably and then suddenly goes onto a horizontal position as it flies through the time vortex, the doors were unfortunately at the bottom. The ponies quickly hold onto something. The stallion was only holding onto the Doctor's coat that was tangled onto the chair. "H-Help me!" The stallion cried. "Just hold on, my boy! I'll close doors!" The Doctor said. One of the roundels on the wall that was just right next to the stallion's head blew up, the accident causes the stallion to lose his grip and fall out of the door and into the time vortex. "No!" The mare screamed, tears running down her eyes and sobbing. "Dear me... I am deeply sorry... The Doctor quietly said... "G-Grandfather! I-I'm slipping!" Susan screamed, her hooves slowly losing grips from one of the control console's handles. "Just hold on, Susan! Hold on!" The Doctor tried to reach the button on the control console to close the doors, sweat was running down his neck. His old physical body gave him difficulty, he could've done this easier if he was younger. Susan loses grip and fell. Everything slowed down for the Doctor's perspective as he sees her dear granddaughter fall down towards the open doors and into the depths of the time vortex... Chapter 3: Commander Hurricane"G-Grandfather! The blue mare reaches her hoof forward for Susan to grab. Susan barely caught the blue mare's hoof and the force dislocated the blue mare's shoulder. The blue mare morbidly screamed as her hoof is just hanging around like a rope. The Doctor slowly grabbed onto another lever, pulling his body closer to the button. He was able to reach it and closed the doors. "Get ready for emergency landing!" The Doctor said. The "Vwoorping" noise goes faster and faster as they go near to a random location in time. More electricty blows up inside the interior. The Doctor was able to put the TARDIS back to its upward position. The Doctor leans on the control console, coughing while grasping his aching chest. "Grandfather!" Susan shouted as she trotted towards her grandfather and hugs him tight. "Oh, Susan... Oh, my dear child..." The Doctor said in relief, hugging his granddaughter back. The blue mare was on the corner, sobbing in both pain and sadness. The Doctor approaches her and examines her shoulder, it was badly dislocated. "Take a deep breath. This shall only hurt for a moment." The Doctor snaps her shoulder back to place with a simple pull, making a loud snap. The blue mare screams in agony. "Susan, get the first aid kit." "Okay, grandfather..." Susan said as she walks off to get the first aid kit. "You know, I never did catch your name." The Doctor said. "Berry Blossom..." The blue mare answered. "Nice to meet you, Berry. I assume you knew the red stallion as well?" "His name was Fire Heart... He used to be a royal guard, but he resigned and became a school principal instead so he can be with me." Cherry answered again. "Fire Heart, hmmm? Well, I am deeply sorry for your loss." The Doctor commented. Equestria, A very long time ago, 12:00 am At an empty spot in the midnight sky, the TARDIS materialises slowly. The Doctor looks at the TARDIS monitor. They have landed on somewhere (or somewhen) on Equestria's past. unicorns, Earth Ponies and Pegasi doesn't seem to get along. The Doctor and his companions open the doors of the TARDIS and sets hoof outside. The ponies are staring them while some are slightly afraid. "Grandfather, I think we landed thousands of years into Equestria's past! Susan said. Suddenly, a ringing sound is heard inside the TARDIS' doors. It's behind the white panel with writings on it. The Doctor opens it, revealing a telephone. He has a confused look on his face, knowing that it wasn't supposed to be a real phone. He grabs the phone and answers it. "Hello? Who is this?" The Doctor asked. "Hello? Can you hear me? Is this the Doctor?" The voice on the phone said, he seems to be in a hurry. "Yes? What is it? What do you want?" "Remember the thing that hit your TARDIS in the time vortex? That was a Creevix. It went back in time, and started altering history. You see, I am telephoning you from the future. If I remember correctly, you have been sent back in time to Equestria's past. Well, there's trouble that only you can fix. Remember the tale of the three ponies that defeated the Windigos? That event should lead the tribes to get along and form Equestria. But the Creevix altered that event and you need to fix it VERY VERY quickly! If you fail, time will be controlled by the Creevix and then they would devour the entire universe. How? I don't remember. Make sure you write all these down on your diary as it would help a future friend ALOT. It's timey wimey stuff. Anyway, Good luck!" "Who are you? WHERE and WHEN are you?" The Doctor asked in an annoyed tone. "Spoilers." The caller hangs up... "Who was it...?" "I do not know, Susan." "Halt!" A royal guard yelled. The royal guard approaches the Doctor and his companions. The royal guard is a pegasus and is wearing a black helmet. "This is a property of the Pegasi. Earth Ponies have no rights to be here. You must present yourselves to Commander Hurricane." The royal guard said. "And why would that be so important, hmmm? We're just time travellers from the future." The Doctor said, moving closer to the royal guard. The royal guard then suddenly points his spear on the Doctor's face. "You WILL come with us and face the Commander. We don't tolerate disobedient ponies who aren't part of our tribe." The royal guard threatens the Doctor by moving the tip of his spear closer to his face. The Doctor doesn't seem to be reacting that much and stayed perfectly calm as if nothing happened. "Yes, Yes... Whatever you say. Now get that thing off my face and get this over with." The Doctor said as he slowly moves the royal guard's spear using his cane. "There's a good fellow." "Careful, grandfather..." Susan whispered, slowly hiding behind the Doctor's back. "Who do you think I am, child? Do you think me so old and addled that I can't handle a single spear wielding fool?" "I didn't mean him... I meant THEM!" Susan pointed at the approaching royal guards. There were 5 of them. The Doctor knew he couldn't take that much so he instead surrendered. The royal guards surrounds them, all of them pointing their spears at the time travellers. Blue Berry and Susan are clearly very nervous. The Doctor, however, was annoyed. "Oh, very well then. Take us to your leader if you really must. Must say, I might want some word with him." The Doctor sighs. "Him? Wasn't Commander Hurricane a mare?" Blue Berry asked, being a history teacher. "Your ridiculous book contains so many history inaccuracies. Especially that pathetic play. Augh, that cyan pegasus portrayed Commander Hurricane all wrong." "Play? There's never been any play about Equestria's founding..." Blue Berry scratched her mane. "Enough talk." One of the royal guards pushes the Doctor and their companions, forcing them to follow. They started walking, seeing all the miserable lives the ponies are living at the time. The earth ponies grow all the food, and in payment for providing weather, the Pegasi demanded some of the food. The Unicorns also demanded payment for magically raising the sun and moon. None of the tribes cared what happened to each other. According to the Doctor, the real Commander Hurricane was a stallion and was very strict. He doesn't allow earth ponies on his land, merely seeing them as source for food in exchange for weather manipulation. "Hurry up!" The royal guard yelled at the Doctor for his slow movement. He grabs him by the shoulder and forces him up. "Get your filthy hooves off me, you impetuous fool! The Doctor slaps the royal guard's hoof off him. The Doctor and his companions go to Commander Hurricane's fortress. It was guarded by almost countless of identical royal guards Inside, they walk down a very long hallway towards Commander Hurricane's office. The royal guard knocks on Hurricane's door. The door opens, revealing his office. It had many statues and a collection of spears and helmets. "Take him in. Leave the others behind." Commander Hurricane said, walking towards the Doctor. "I only need this old stallion..." "What for, hmmm? Do you need some of my assistance?" The Doctor formally asked. "Grandfather! He might kill you!" Susan tried to trot towards her grandfather, but the royal guards restricts her. "Worry not, Susan. You know I can take care of myself. This will be over before you know it." The Doctor said as he enters the Commander's office. As the Commander follows the Doctor inside, Susan saw the Commander reach for his knife as the door closes... Present Time, 4:50 am Twilight wrote down notes about what the voice on the telephone said. She knows it could be the Tenth Doctor, the Doctor she knew and travelled with. She looks behind her to see Spike sleeping. She began flicking the pages of the book and sighs... "Ugh, thousands of pages more and still going..." Twilight yawns and heads towards her bed. "I guess taking a rest won't hurt..." Twilight gets ontop of her bed and hovers her blanket over her body using her magic. She closes her eyes, tired from all the reading. Outside, something entered the TARDIS and quietly close its doors... Doctor-lite 1: Saving a friendPresent Time, 12:50 pm Twilight Sparkle wakes up from her sleep from reading and taking notes from the Doctor's diary. She slowly crawls out of her bed and looks at the time. "I'm late!" Twilight gasps, she quickly grabs the diary trots out of the door. She was late for her meeting with Princess Celestia, Luna and Cadance. Something to do with the alternate world she visited last year. "Twilight!" Spike shouted, running for his friend. "Why are you in a rush?" "I'm late for the meeting, Spike! I should've been there an hour ago! I overslept!" Spike stops running as he notices strange noise inside the TARDIS, he stares at it out of curiousity and looks back at Twilight, she had already vanished. "Uhhh... Twilight?" Hoofprints that leads into the TARDIS are found as well. Since Twilight had already left, Spike instead decids to take a look what's making noise inside the TARDIS himself. The baby dragon reaches for one of the handle of the door, making a clicking sound as he opens it. Inside is empty, the noise Spike heard had ceased. Spike scans his eyes around the console room before shrugging and leaving the TARDIS. As he turns around from the TARDIS, the noise came back, it sounds like somepony is murmuring and giggling. Spike decides to put his ears againts the doors to listen. The murmurs were gibberish. Spike opens the doors once again. "Hello...?" Spike said nervously as he slowly enters, the doors slowly closing behind him. He walks around the control room looking around the huge interior. The console room was different from what he saw just a second ago. Everything was all dusty, pieces of levers and buttons were scattered all over the floor, the time column is shattered and all the lights were turned off. Even the humming sound wasn't heard. Spike pauses as soon as he heard hoofsteps, coming and closer and closer to him... Spike turns around to see a mare, covered in the shadows. "Wh-Who's there!?" "Hello, Spike. It's been a LONG TIME!" The mare said in a menacing and disturbing manner, the mare walks forward out of the shadows to reveal herself to be a future version of Twilight Sparkle who's body build is now similar to Princess Celestia's. She had a messy mane and a long insane grin on her face. Twilight slowly walks towards Spike. "T-Twilight? U-Uhhh... You sure changed alot!" Spike said with a nervous grin. "Oh, Spike. You seem to have not changed for thousands of years!" Twilight's horn starts to glow, picking up one of the sharp metal pieces on the ground. "You never told me I could do this to you again!" "T-Twilight! Wh-What are you doing!?" Spike is terrified, tears running down from his eyes. "...Saving you!" Spike quickly ran from Twilight, entering the nearby door and went deeper into the TARDIS. He found himself in the corridors, there were barely any lights and he could have a very hard time to know where he is going. Spike ran to his left, on the left, the path was straight. He kept running, hearing Twilight's giggling following him. "Come on, Spike! This won't hurt! We don't want that happening to you, now do we?" Twilight yelled. Spike looks behind him, he could see the glow of Twilight's horn, but it was a distance away. He took a right turn and presses his back againts the wall, hyperventilating. Spike took a peek to see if Twilight is still on his tail, he sees the glowing horn turn right. He wipes the sweat from his forehead. The door behind him opens, he walks backwards towards the door. 'Splash!' Spike falls into the swimming pool. The loud splash echoes through the silent hallway, Twilight stopped on her tracks as soon as she heard the water. "I hear you, Spike! Looks like you needed refreshment!" Twilight ran to the opposite direction, turns left and sees the light that came from the swimming pool room. "Alright, bathtime's over Spike." Twilight dips her head underwater, looking around the depths. It was difficult since the swimming pool was deep and huge. Spike holds his breath as long as he could underwater, hiding behind a metal box that has conveniently fell into the water. "So you wanna play underwater Spike? Alright! Let's play! Twilight enters the pool herself and Spike took this to his advantage. Spike quickly emerges from the pool and climb out of it, coughing. He ran towards the exit. Twilight couldn't hear Spike's wet footsteps. Spike wanted to get out of the TARDIS by remembering the path he took while running through the corridors. Unfortunately, the corridors seems to have changed its pattern. Spike took a leap of faith and went straight, leaving a wet trail on the floor. He sees a door similar to the one the came in from the control room on his way. The door opens automatically as Spike approaches and enters it, however, instead of finding the control room, he found what appears to be a room filled with prison cells. Spike wants to get out, but the door didn't open. He had no choice but to move forward since Twilight could enter the room without warning. The cells were empty, each only contained chains and a single ruined bed. Spike kept moving forward until something caught his attention. Something morbid. He found all 5 of Twilight's friends who are dead, each in one cell. They all seemed to have died a very long time ago, since all of them are already reduced into skeletons. Spike couldn't even move anymore, he suddenly heard something move on one of the cells on the front. Spike slowly approaches that cell, crying silently. He sees what seems to be a damaged silver cyborg that is missing certain limbs and is in the same height as he is. It slowly turns around to face Spike. "You are compatible. You will be upgraded." Electricity starts bursting out of the silver cyborg's body, falling down onto the ground. "You will be- You will- You will be upgra-" Spike had a look of extreme horror on his face, just staring on the cyborg as it repeats its sentences over and over again due to damage. "You see, Spike? You know I couldn't let you become one of those Cyberponies. Same thing for my friends of course! I'm pretty sure they'd rather DIE instead of having their emotions taken away from them!" Twilight grins as she points the sharp metal on Spike's neck. "If I kill you now, it would cause a paradox and you would never become a Cyberdragon!" The Cyberdragon's chest suddenly bursts open, damaging the emotional inhibitor device. Giving the future Spike his emotions back... Atleast for just a little while... "Twilight... I... I can't feel my body..." The Cyberdragon whispered. "S-Spike!?" Twilight drops the metal down to the ground, trotting towards the cell. "Spike... I'm sorry... I'm very very sorry..." Spike quickly ran away, leaving Twilight inside the prison room. The corridors had changed again, but he was able to find his way back to the control room this time. The control room was back to its former glory. The humming sound was back and the levers and buttons are now intact. Spike came out of the TARDIS and fell to his knees, sobbing.
Prologue: An unexpected visitFriendship Rainbow Kingdom, 9:00 PM Princess Twilight Sparkle is having a peaceful night on her new Friendship Rainbow Kingdom, having defeated Tirek just hours ago. I hope..."
Chapter 1: Running AwayFriendship Rainbow Kingdom, 3:20 AM Princess Twilight went back to her bedroom, putting the diary on her desk. But we cannot find out if we do not explore it now, can we?"
Chapter 2: Doctor...
