tough fear

       dentist ?  NO WAY !

it was a normal day at sweet apple acres : big mac was plowing, ab was at school and applejack had a lunchbreak. for lunch aj had, of course, an apple. when she bit down on the the juicy fruit, she felt an agonyzing pain coming from one of her back molars. ' why in tarnation did that hurt so much ?' aj wondered. she got a little mirror out of her backpack (a gift from rarity) and looked into her mouth. with a loud gasp she let the mirror fall.

applejack had found a cavity on her left back molar and was scared out of her mind. 'oh no oh no why me dear celestia why me ?' applejack yelled in frustratiation, causing her tooth to throb even more. she bit on her hoof , with the good side of her mouth, and started thinking. ' what if ' she thought , 'what if i ran away.' if she where to run away big mac would get suspicions and ( a terryfing thought ) maybe even find out, but she had to risk it.

with big mac in the fields at the southern side she had full freedom, but there was another obstacle named granny smith. granny was nowhere to be seen so applejack ran for freedom, only to run into a cloud a few miles from sweet apple acres. 'what is goin' on with ta clouds' applejack yelled. she suddenly heard a soft moaning coming from the cloud. 'rainbow dash ?' she asked.

a certain cyan pegasus emerched from the cloud. 'oh hey applejack what are you doing here ?' she asked. applejack answered with: 'rainbow, i heard ya'll moaning so spill the beans !' rainbows  eyes dashed back at forth looking for a way out of this. ' ah know ya'll ahr lyin' so just say it will ya ?' applejack asked now becoming nervous herself. 'sight* fine i'll tell you' she hesitated'

ihaveatoothacheandiamscaredofthedentistandpleasedon' rainbow was stopped by an orange hoof silencing her. 'rainbow i know how you feel i'm in the same situation as you are.' applejack said ( always the honest one :p ). 'wait ... what ?!' rainbow yelled. 'hush i'mma tryin' tah get outta here without big mac noticin' i'm gone, so move aside with your cloud.' applejack said sternly. rainbow wiped away the cloud and asked : 'so your afraid of 'it' to ?' rainbow asked. 'well kinda.' applejack said turning a bit red. 'well come with me so you can avoid going 'there'.' rainbow said.

then applejack turned around a saw a tiny yellow filly coming their way. 'rainbow whatever ya'll wanna do do it NOW' applejack nearly screamed. after she had said that she galopped of, rainbow following suit. the two of them arived in town square, but they knew they weren't out of trouble yet. this point was quickly proven as they saw a purple alicorn walking towards them, talking with no other than towns one and online dentist. the two mares stopped infront of applejack and rainbow dash.

'guys, what are you doing here aren't you supposed to  be working ?' twilight asked, cocking her brow. 'we uh we where uh gettin' supplies, yup thats it, gettin' supplies' applejack said, very nervous looking. 'oké, then why is rainbow trembling and cowering like she is fluttershy ?' twilight asked again, knowing applejack was lying. meanwhile colgate ( towns dentist ) was scanning her memory for the dental files of the two ponies in front of her. she couldn't remember them and quickly realised they never had an appointment. she draw the conclusion that they had dentophobia and frowned.

'colgate, are you okay ?' twilight asked. colgate snapped out of her dazed state and noticed that applejack and rainbow dash where gone. 'excuse me, what did you say?' colgate replied. 'are you okay you look a bit pale.' twilight repeated looks of worry written over her face.

'i just noticed something.' colgate said. 'and that something is ?' twilight asked, now curious. 'applejack and rainbow dash have dentophobia.' colgate said. 'are you sure, i mean they are the toughest ponies in ponyville, you don't expect them to be afraid of a silly thing like a dentist.' twilight said looking surprised.

'i'm pretty sure.' colgate replied.
