He had light red hair with one black zigzag streak and a luminescent light blue eye. Sitting on the bench was the last thing that he remembered before dozing off and waking up in a bedroom. He rubbed his eyes and finally realized that he was a pony. He then panicked and a dark blue mare and a pearl white stallion ran in. "hoho! Nightshade, your finally awake. I told you let me deal with the huge door. My special dynamite is very powerful, your lucky to wake up so early." Trick said, then reaches out his hoof, but the pony slaps it away. Trick crossed his hooves. "Sheesh! I'm sorry but you were the one who tried to defuse my undefusing dynamite!" Trick said, then took the staff of Starswirl from his hat and teleport a smoothie onto his nightstand. "Here, I made you this." Trick said smiling. "The names Flint. Who's Nightshade?" The pony asked. Trick finally realized that the pony looked nothing like Nightshade and started to wonder what was going on. "Frrriiiiick. Luna, I'll be down in a minute." Trick said, then Luna nods and leaves the room. Trick turned to the pony and got right in his face until they were eye to eye. "Who the buck are you and what did you do with Nightshade?" Trick asked fiercely. "I'm Flint. I'm a brawler. I don't know who Nightshade is." Flint said. Suddenly a flush came from the bathroom and Nightshade walked out. "Oh your awake. Trick, I went on a walk at night and found this pony passed out on the ground." Nightshade said. Trick looked over at Nightshade. "Nightshade! You shouldn't have gone out in your condition! The special dynamite blew up sending you crashing into the wall! Winter diagnosed a concussion for Celestia's sake."Trick said, then sighed and look back to Flint and point my hoof at him. "And don't think I'm done with you!" Trick said, then turned and heads downstairs. "You stay here. We'll talk in a second." Nightshade said and ran out to catch up with Trick. Trick went down stairs and pours a glass of cider. "Trick dear. You must stop your drinking." Luna said, Trick turned to see his lovely wife. "I know Lulu, just, Nightshade went out last night and brought back a complete stranger. You know how much I worry about hurt friends." Trick said, Luna gave him a hug and kiss. "I know hon, but drinking isn't the answer." Luna said, then Trick sighed and pours the cider in the drain. "Your right Lulu. I'll try to stop." Trick said, then turns to see Nightshade in the doorway. "Nightshade! Why aren't you in bed!?" Trick shouted. "I came to talk." Nightshade replied. "Fine, but I'm getting you to bed no matter how much I sound like Winter." Trick said. "He was passed out in the garden. I couldn't leave him there." Nightshade explained. "Whatever, just get back in bed. I don't want to see you hurt." Trick said, he was definitely worried. "Fine, but see that Applejack looks after him, okay?" Nightshade asked. "Got it, so what do you want to talk about?" Trick asked. Nightshade does a facehoof and said, "that was what I wanted to talk about. Luna help me here." "Trick darling, that's what he wanted to talk about." Luna said And Trick blushed out of embarrassment. "Oh... I'm gonna go see if applejack can do. Until then, let Winter talk to Flint, she can always get answers out of anypony." Trick said then walked out the door to sweet apple acres. It was not long after that Flint got a visit from Trick. Winter was also in the room and she walked up to Trick. "What did Applejack say?" Winter asked Trick. "She said it was fine as long as he's ready to work. What did Flint have to say for himself?" Trick Replied. "He said that he is a human last time he checked. He is also called a brawler, whatever that is. I'm worried for him." Winter said, she glanced over to him with sad eyes. "What are you talking about over there?" Flint asked, he had apparently caught Winter's glance. "It's nothing you should be concerned about." Trick replied, then walked over and sat down next to Flint. "So Flint, I hear your a human! I'm afraid to tell you your stuck here for at least 10 moons until the mirror portal opens again." Trick said, then backed up and pulled a smoothie out from his hat. "Here, it's bannana!" Trick said, then skipped out of the room. "I can't tell if he is being rude or nice." Flint said. "It takes a while to understand him. He was being nice." Winter smiled gently and Trick walked back in. "Oh and have fun in Equestria! Would you like me to teach you to walk again?" Trick asked. "That will be nice. Thank you both." Flint said and Winter giggled. Trick grabbed Flint and dragged him into the living room. "Ok Flint, stand up." Trick said, then Flint awkwardly stands up. "Ok now just crawl like a human baby." Trick said, then walked out of the room leaving a dumbfounded Flint standing in the living room. "He is very confusing." Flint said. The next thing that happened was Winter taking Flint to Sweet Apple Acres. Winter then knocked on Applejack' s front door. Trick knew spying was wrong, but he had a suspicious feeling about Flint. Trick used the Staff of Starswirl to watch Flint. "So I just help with chores?" Flint asked. "That's what Trick said. I wonder what's taking Applejack so long." Winter said. sometime earlier Trick went into the bed chamber of Luna Princess of the Night. As he walked in, Luna was already waiting for for him. "What took you so long tricky poo?" Luna said. Trick went over, took off his hat, and walked towards the balcony. "I'm sorry Luna, it's just been stressful this week." Trick said. Luna walked up next to him and put her wings over him. "Hey, try having my life. I'm sure I can handle your crazy adventures." Luna said smiling, Trick just snickered. "Trust me dear, you don't want this crazy brain." Trick said, then looked down at the necklace, the only thing keeping the most evil being in history lock away inside his mind Vault. a bit later, but still earlier Trick went back to Nightshades house. Ever since it got the staff of Starswirl from Daring do, Trick had mastered it's magical abilities and attributes. It's like looking at a earth pony Starswirl! Trick knocked on the door. "Nightshade! I'm back, Luna wanted me to keep an eye on Flint so I guess we can be roomies!" Trick shouted. Nightshade opens the door. "Sure I guess, but Winter sleeps with me. You'll have to use the spare bedroom." Nightshade said. "Ok! I can't wait! I brought everything I need in here.". I point at my hat. "So, did Flint learn to walk yet?" Trick said with a smirk. "Winter took him to Sweet Apple Acres. You they should arrive there...," Nightshade said and Trick vanished, "...any second." Back to date Trick was spying on Flint from the distance. Applejack finally opened up the door. "Hi Applejack, I brought Flint." Winter said. Applejack then shook Flints hooves rapidly up and down "Welcome to Equestria Flint. Ah hope yer stay here is as welcoming as possible. Let me introduce you to the family." Applejack said, then stopped shaking Flints hoof and motioned him to follow her inside. Flint walks it and saw an old green mare, a burly looking red stallion, and a little filly that dashed up to see Flint' s cutie mark. Flint' s cutie mark was a hoof that was on fire, at least that's what he thought it was. "Hiya mister! What's yer cutie mark mean? Are you a fire pony!?" Applebloom said, then started to bounce around Flint asking question faster than he could answer. Then after a few seconds Applejack pulled her away and introduced him to Big Macintosh and Granny Smith. "So Flint, you look strong, follow me I'll teach ya how to applebuck." Applejack said, then walked back outside motioning Flint to follow. Trick was hiding in a tree sipping on a chocolate shake with a super silly straw nearby. "You see, I'm what they call a brawler, but I'd be happy to help with the chores. I wonder if I can still..." Flint said holding his right forehoof up and it burst into flames. The fire seemed to come off the hoof without burning him. "I still can, I totally still can." Flint said cheerfully. Trick did a spit take. He knew this Flint's name was familiar. Trick jumped from tree surprising Flint and Applejack. "Trick! What were you doin in my apple trees!?" Applejack said firmly. "Umm, well I wanted to see if they were comfy as Rainbow dash says they are" Trick replied, he was praying to Luna she would believe it. Applejack sends a questioning stare at Trick. "Okaaaaay." Applejack said, then Trick walked over to Flint. "I knew your name was familiar. I went to your dimension 2 years ago. I even won one of the tournaments, remember me now?". Trick said pulling a black mask from my hat and put it on. "I was... Trickster!" Trick said cheerfully. "No way! You and I always ended up in the finals. You were my best rival and sparing partner. You even helped me perfect Kiohiden. I wondered why you vanished." Flint said. "Yes, but you never wanted me to teach you Adventure-fu." Trick said. Applejack looked at Trick puzzled. "What's adventure-fu?" Applejack then mumbled to herself, "this pony is a nutjob." Trick pulled a black board from his hat. "We'll my dear Applejack, Adventure-fu is where you punch your enemy then roll around them while they're staggering back. For short, you never stay in the same place when you punch. I always won with my good ok staff of starswirl." Trick said, he was waving around the staff and it fires off some fireworks. "You didn't always win against me. I won about half our brawls." Flint said smirking. "Well, I know I completely destroyed that Shao kan guy. Well I'll see you later, can't wait to fight!" Trick said. Flint tried to say no, but Trick was already gone. "Bummer! I always enjoy a good brawl." Flint said bummed out. Trick went back to Nightshade's house where we got ready for bed. "I found out who Flint is, he's from a dimension call brawler. I remember him from my trip there." Trick said, then proceed to tell Nightshade and Winter all about the Brawler dimension. "Let me get this correct... Flint is called a Brawler in a dimension that holds fighting tournaments. There are four brackets, north, south, east, west. He uses a move called kihoda." Nightshade said. "Kiohiden." Winter corrected. "Yeah thanks." Nightshade replied. "And some of those tournaments were won by yours truly." Trick said, then pulled a whole trophy case with fighting trophies. Nightshade and winter are dumb founded on how Trick pulled out the massive case "Then the other half of trophies belong to Flint? How long were you in that dimension?" Nightshade asked surprised. "I have no idea, maybe a year." Trick said, then shoves the case back in the hat and puts the hat on the hat rack. "So I guess we should head that way." Trick said, then pulls pajamas out of his mane and heads for the guest room. "Um... It's time for us to get sleep." Nightshade said. "Okay, but I'm getting the special treatment." Winter said And started to pull Nightshade. "I think that's the last one." Flint said breathless. "Well good! Come along Flint, you got to get up early. Trick told me he's gonna take you on a tour of Ponyville tomorrow so you'll need the rest." Applejack said, then whispered into Flints ears, which was weird since he still wasn't acquainted with his pony form. "Trust me, you'll need the rest if yer gonna spend the day with him." She whispered. "Yeah, I guess that your right. This is a good workout though. I'll need to get used to being a hu...pony." Flint said correcting himself, "bed or couch. I'm fine with either, considering that I don't own a bed of my own where I'm from." "Well then I don't mind sleeping on the couch tonight, yer the guest.". Applejack set up the bed and headed down stairs. Flint had a lot to think about tonight. Author's Note Brawler Terms: Brawler- an individual that developed a unique fighting style and unique abilities to fight in tournaments or other situations. Season one: Episode 2 As Flint open his eyes the next morning, he saw an exited Trick in the corner. He then proceeded to panic because a crazy pony snuck inside the house. "Huh, what going on?" Flint said still half asleep. "Hohoho! We need a head start if were gonna tour Ponyville today!" Trick said, then grabs the staff from his hat and teleports them both to Sugarcube corner. "Where are we?" Flint asked and a pink mare suddenly came out of nowhere and was almost muzzle to muzzle to him. "Can I help you?" Flint asked. "HimynamesispinkiepiebutallmyfriendscallmePinkiewhatsyours!??!" The Pink mare said, then Flint looks over at Trick for answers. "Really, you didn't get any of that? She asked what your name is bra." Trick said. Flint needed to be more pony like and looked at his cutie mark again. Applejack had explained about the cutie mark to Flint so he knew what to say if somepony asked what his talent was. "The name is Flint Hooves. What was your name again?" Flint asked. "MynamesPinkieareyounewintown!? GASP! If your new in town then you must not have any friends here!? Don't worry I'm gonna throw a big party for yooou!!" Pinkie said, then ran off in a pink blur. Flint had no idea what to say. "I thought we could get Pinkie pie early so we wouldn't have to stop in the middle." Trick said, then turned and went inside. "Come along Flint! Muffins on me!" Trick said, then Flint heard a squee as a grey pegusus flew in after Trick. "Pinkie pie? She's high on something." Flint walked in and started introducing himself to the grey pegasus, "hi, the names Flint Hooves. What's yours?" The pegusus turned around. Revealing a cross eyed mare with muffin crumbs around her muzzle. "Hi! My names Derpy. Muffin?" Derpy said, then pulls a muffin out of thin air and hoofs it over to Flint. "Um, how did you... Oh, who am I kidding." Flint said and brushed off the crumbs on her muzzle, "you have crumbs on you." When he brushed off the last of it, Derpy hugged him. "Thanks mister! Well I got to get back to the mail, bye!" Derpy said before flying out the door. Flint looks over at Trick who was snickering the whole time. When they made eye contact Trick mouthed, "Flint and Derpy sitting in a tree, K I S S I N G.". "Your an ass... flank... whatever! I was just being friendly. I'm curious about the eyes though." Flint said. "1: yes I can be if you want to see that side of me, and 2: I have no idea but it makes her so cute." Trick said hoofing a glass of milk over to Flint and the two eat in silence. Afterwards our two ponies walk towards golden oaks library. "A tree? Please tell me that this isn't a bakery." Flint asked. Trick sighed knowing what he was talking about. "Really? That's all you had?" Trick asked, then knocked on the door and a small dragon opened the door.nFlint looked at the Dragon for a moment and then as If Trick was saying roll with it, he smiled. "Yo, what up purple dude?" Flint said. The Dragon then sighed. "Great, another Vinyl. Did you come for Twilight?" The Dragon asked. Trick spoke up first. "Why yes Spike we have! Is she home?" Trick asked. "No she went to Canterlot today but you two are welcome to look around. It's a public library after all." Spike replied. Trick stepped inside and started to skim the adventure section leaving Flint and Spike to awkwardly start a conversation. "Sorry I'm new here, the names Flint Hooves." Flint said with an awkward smile. "Spike, nice ta meet ya." Spike said holding out a claw for Flint to shake. They shook but it felt awkward not having any fingers to do so. "YES, I was wondering when she would write this!" Trick said excitedly. Spike look back at the excited Pony. "What is it?" Spike asked. Trick held up a book, the title said: Daring doo and Trick in... the Staff of Starswirl. "Daring Do? Who's she?" Flint asked and got awkward glances. As well as an unset blue pegasus mare with a rainbow mane that tackled Flint. "Daring doo is the most amazing pony EVER! She's went all across Equestria adventuring through every obstacle! She's unstoppable!" the mare said squealing. Trick then made a loud cough. "I happen to think I'm better! I'm the one who hired her to help me get this!" Trick said, then pulls out the staff and waves it around. Rainbow stare at it with awe, but quickly snaps out of it. "No way! Daring doo can beat you any day!" The mare said. The two are face to face. "Well then let's go see shall we?" Trick asked. Then both ponies rush off. "I think that I just lost my tour guide. Spike, who was that just now?" Flint asked. "That was Rainbow dash. She's just full of hot air." Spike replied. He hands Flint a map and points towards a forest, "This is were they're headed, you better go now if you wanna catch up.". "Thanks, see ya." Flint said and ran. Well, half ran and half something else. He then turned a corner and ran into a pure white unicorn mare with a purple mane. Falling from the impact, Flint noticed he was on top of her and quickly got off. "Sorry about that. Wasn't looking where I was going. The names Flint Hooves." Flint said. "Oh, it's ok darling. I wasn't paying attention since I just saw Rainbow and Trick run past, how Trick can run that fast I have no idea." The unicorn said, then started to pick up her things, "My name is Rarity. I better get going, I have a deadline to make." Rarity starts off again towards her boutique and Flint starts running towards the forest. Flint seemed to have no luck in the forest. He then heard a soft voice and checked it out. He saw a yellow pegasus mare with a pink mane humming something and picking up something. Flint walked up behind her. "Hi, I'm ..." Flint didn't even get three words in, because the mare squealed and hid behind a Bush. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. I was only going to ask for directions." Flint said awkwardly. "umm, hi." The mare said, Flint told her where he was headed. "Daring doos is that way. My names Fluttershy, what's yours." The mare said, she finally came out of the Bush. "Flint Hooves, I'm... um... Well new here." Flint said chuckling and then heard a growl. Wolves of wood came out of the bushes and Fluttershy hide behind Flint. "I have two questions. What are they and are they dangerous?" Flint said in a fierce tone. "Timber wolves and yes!". Fluttershy flew into a tree. Flint wasn't afraid at all, he actually look happy. He raised his hoof and it burst into flame. "Finally! I've been itchin for a good fight." Flint said in a very cheerful tone that surprised Fluttershy. The first Timber wolf pounced at Flint, but it missed when Flint hoofed it in its face. It then shook it off and the other two Timber wolves joined in the assault. Flint' s other three hooves lite on fire. "Now this is what I call fun." Flint said and a gleeful tone. He hit one with a right hook and followed it up by backlegging one into the other. The same one tried pouncing again, but was hit by an uppercut and it fell to pieces. Flint then produced a fire ball in his front hooves. "Kiohiden!" Flint yelled and shot the fireball at a timber wolf. The impact made it go flying a mile and a half away. Flint then glared at the last one. "Your next." Flint said smiling and the timber wolf ran away whimpering, letting Flint laugh at his victory. Fluttershy was in awe by Flints abbilitys. "How did you do that?" Fluttershy asked in awe. "I'm a brawler. Kiohiden it a move called Morning Star for a fighting style called Himoratori. You impressed?" Flint asked happy he got somewhat of a fight. "I'm... I'm a little frightened but impressed as well. Thank you." Fluttershy replied, then hugged him and flew off. Then, with his improved hearing, Flint heard yelling deep inside the forest. Flint rushed with hooves ablaze and came up to were the yelling was at. "What's going on?" Flint yelled in a battle ready tone. Author's Note Brawler terms: Himoratori- a defensive fighting still were one denses ones body structure and is able to take heavy blows Season one: Episode 3 Three ponies surprised by his presence jumped back... Except for one. "Hohoho! It's about time you showed up bud! Now you get to see me take on the so called... Best adventurer." Trick said, Rainbow got in his face. "She is the best!" Rainbow declared. Trick pushes her aside. "If she was the best she would use an adventurers best friend!" Trick said, then pulls a cylinder object out of his hat. Flint began to panic, but the pegusi were already pestering him to put it away. "I don't care who you are Trick. But if this means I get back the staff of Starswirl, then let's do this!" Daring do said, then pulls out a whip at same time Trick pulls out the staff. Trick shoot a few bolt a Daring which she quickly dodges. Daring then takes a chance and charges at Trick. Flint knew that was a bad idea. Trick shoots a bolt a tree limb with precise timing and it fall onto Daring, knocking her out instantly. Rainbow fainted at the sight of her fallen hero. "Ha! Told you!" Trick said boosting. "Okay that was cheap shot. At least play fair." Flint said and Rainbow Dash's ears perked up. "You! You! Eerrgh!" Rainbow said, And stomped on the ground in frustration. Trick look back at Flint. "You go ahead back to sweet apple acres or ponyville. I don't care. I'll catch up with you in a bit" Trick said, then waved his staff and both him and Daring do disappeared. Flint then grabbed Rainbow before she exploded in rage. "Calm down. There is on honor in cheap shots." Flint said not letting go of Rainbow. She kept trying to get free, but Flint was stronger than her and she couldn't free herself. "I don't know what Luna sees in that phsyco, just let me go." Rainbow said angrily. "No, not until your calm." Flint said fiercely. "Fine!" Rainbow said, scowling at Flint be seemed to be calming down. "You don't seem calm yet. Your muscles are tense like you want to hit somebo... somepony." Flint said. Rainbow let out a load sigh and started to relax. "Ok. I'm done. Rainbow is aaaaall gooood." Rainbow said in a pout. Flint lets go of Rainbow Dash. "Sorry, but as a brawler, violent with anger is always trouble. I just don't want any damage from anger." Flint said. Rainbow scratched the back of her head. "Ya, sometimes I can go a little over the edge. It's just, Trick is a phsyco, don't stay around him, no matter what you think of him now." Rainbow said, then flew off. "He was a lot more sane when we brawled." Flint said with a sigh. It was a long day for Flint. It's even longer when Applebloom and two other fillies popped out of nowhere when I entered the market place. Since Applejack stopped her from finding out Flint' s talent, Applebloom was going to take advantage of this moment. "Hiya Flint! We've been looking all over for you." Applebloom said. The Pegasus filly and the unicorn we on the sides of Flint looking at his cutie mark. "Uh, Flint what does yer cutie mark mean?" The unicorn asked. "I'm a brawler. I fight in tournaments. See?" Flint said and lit his hoof on fire. The two fillies that we're bouncing around him ood and awed at the flame. The orange filly with purple hair spoke up. "That. Is. AWSOME!!!!" The pegasus said. "Yeah it is, in its own way." Flint said smiling at the fillies. "Applebloom! Come here ah need yer help somthin!" Applejack called out. Applebloom said good bye to Flint and he was left with two fillies who he didn't know. "Do the two of you have names or do am I going to be left in the blank?" Flint asked. The unicorn spoke first. "My name's sweetie belle! And that's scootaloo. And we're..." The unicorn said. The two fillies inhaled as much air as they could. "THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!!!!!!" The two shouted simultaneously. Flint never flinched at the loud scream. "Well, plus Applebloom." Sweetie Belle said. "Cute name, so what do cutie mark crusaders do exactly?" Flint asked. "We help fillies like us get there cutie marks. Speaking of which, we're gonna go get our skydiving cutie mark! See you later mister Flint." Scootaloo explained. The two fillies ran off before Flint could stop them. Flint turned around to come face to face with himself. He raised his hoof and the second Flint did the same thing. Flints hoof. Caught fire and the second Flints hoof caught fire as we'll except in a green flame. Then the imposter exploded in the green flame. And when it dispersed it revealed an ear to ear grinning Trick. "Hi there!" Trick said smiling. "That's new, when did you learn it? Oh, yeah and what happened to the mare that disappeared with you?" Flint asked. "One, I've had these powers for a while but only my right foreleg can hold a transformation for long and two, she's in bed." Trick said, then holds up his right Right foreleg and the flame covers his whole body. When it goes away Trick is wearing a white tux with a red bow tie. "I can use my foreleg for clothes and stuff. I can only hold a full transformation for an hour. So what do you want to do now? I've got plenty of bits." Trick asked. "I'm up for whatever." Flint said shrugging and said that partially because he still has no idea where he is going. Trick got a big smile when he thought of an idea. "Come come Flint, follow me!" Trick said, then started to walk away with Flint right behind him. When they reached their destination, the store sign said: Vinyl's record shop and club.". "Is this a nightclub?" Flint asked. "It's open all night." Trick said, chilled at his joke as he stepped inside. "Yo! Trick my man! How it hangin!" A unicorn mare said, walking up to Trick as he stepped inside. She had and electric blue mane and tail with a coat as white as Trick's. "I'm just here to finish my song, this is Flint. He's an old friend of mine. I'll be in the back if you need me!" Trick said, then went inside a door leaving two in the shop. "Flint Hooves." Flint said holding out his hoof. The unicorn bumped his hoof. "Vinyl scratch!" Th mare said. Vinyl walked away and put in a record in a giant dj machine and it started to play real loud. "THIS IS JUST MY DISHWASHER!!!!" Vinyl shouted. "Good to know!!!" Flint yelled back. He then noticed a charcoal black mare stopping the dishwashers loud music. "Vinyl, please don't wash the dishes with wubs.". Vinyl took off her glasses. "Oh, But Octavia it's like the best way to wash them." Vinyl said. Right then Trick burs red through the door. "It. Is. Finished!" Trick said, then popped it into the dishwasher and it started to play some intense music. "Nice! That has got to be your song when you do a brawl." Flint said and the two mares were confused. "He's from a different dimension, they hold fighting tournaments, and when I went there everybody had a theme song but me." Trick said explaining. "Ohhhh. That makes sense." Vinyl said and Octavia facehoofed. "And tell me Vinyl, how that makes sense." Octavia said. "Because it came out of Tricks mouth. He's crazier than pinkie so ponies just deal with." Vinyl said shrugging. "Yeah I think that this might be more helpful." Flint said and then lit his hoof on fire. Octavia screamed and ran into one of the doors while Vinyl just stood there. "Whooooaaaa. That's awsome." Vinyl said, Then another Vinyl started to do the same thing. After a few seconds Vinyl 1 looked over at Vinyl 2. "Ah! Clone! Kill it with fire Flint!" Vinyl 1 said, the other Vinyl erupts in flame and is replaced by a laughing Trick. "Oh that never gets old!" Trick said. Flint shakes his head while smiling. Then he walked into the room Octavia ran into. "Yo, you okay?" Flint asked the frightened mare. "How did you do that!" She spit out the pan. "I said how did you do that?". "I well... uh... learned it?" Flint said nervously and Octavia facehoofed. "Whatever, I'm done." Octavia said And goes back into the first room. "Well that was fun but we gotta go!" Trick said, grabbing Flint and they teleport to the Everfree forest, "I've got to stock up on some potions. You can come in you want." "Damn, I didn't catch her name. I'll see her tomorrow I guess." Flint said and noticed that Trick entered a hut. He then followed him in. "Ah, Trick, your here! I'm almost done with your potion so dear." An exotic accent said. Flint saw a Zebra with a robe and big rings on her ears, and she was stirring something inside a big cauldron. "Would you like any help Zecora?" Trick asked. "Trick it's getting dark out. I think that I need to go back at Sweet Apple Acres." Flint said and the Zacora got in his face. "Ahhhhh, Trick has a new friend? Tell me, what is your name?" Zacora asked. "Flint Hooves. I'm... I'm a... Brawler." Flint said nervously. "Ah! Trick has told me about you. Trick said he fought you." Zacora said. "Yes it's true Zecora! Me and him were the best of the best!" Trick said then held up a few bottles. "I'll take some of these." Trick said then paid Zecora and the two split off. As Flint was head toward sweet apple acres he felt somepony was following him. "Who there? Show yourself!" Flint said with four hooves ablaze. "Flint Hooves, we have come to question thee." A booming sound spoke. A hooded pony came out from the shadows. "We have heard from our dear Trick that thou are a Brawler yes? What is a Brawler and are they dangerous to my little ponies?" The hooded pony spoke. "That depends on who I fight. Just who the hell are you?" Flint shouted at the hooded pony. "That's none of your concern for now. I'll be watch you from afar Flint Hooves." The hooded pony spoke, Then the figure disappeared. Flint had closed the curtains to the room he was staying in and started pacing. "Who was that asshole. Next time I see him... I'll...I'll..." Flint was interrupted when Applejack opened the door. "Uh, are you talkin to yerself their sugercube?" Apple jack asked, placing her hoof on his shoulder, "ya need to talk about it?" "I accidentally spooked a mare by doing this." Flint said and lit his hoof on fire. He didn't want to mention the hooded pony. "I planned on finding her and sorting it out." Flint said. "I bet she's fine. You can always apologize and sort it out." She said, then placed her hoof to Flint's chest. "You've got a good heart Flint.". She then walked out of the room. "Yeah, but I still have that demon." Flint said and went to bed. Author's Note Brawler terms: Cheating- Something that brings no honor in a brawl, and can endanger those close to you. Those that use cheap shots are cheating and aren't true brawlers. season one: episode 4 As soon as he woke up the next day, Flint dashes out to find the pony. He finally found her two hours later being harassed by three stallions. The mare was definitely upset at the stallions. Flint dashed by the three stallions grabbing the mare in the process. "Hi, you remember me. You owe me your name and I owe you an explanation, but not at this moment. I think that I just pissed off those stallions." Flint said quickly. "Hey we saw her first." One of the stallions said. He definitely looked like the leader. "Sorry, she didn't look interested. I let you have her if you can get by me." Flint said smirking. The leader swung a left hook, but was blocked and countered by an upper cut. The stallion fell on his back, then stumbled to get up. "Water wake, Two bits, get him." The leader said. The two stallions ran away as soon as Flint lit all four hooves on fire. "I'm not afraid of you." The leader said and charged. Flint made a fire ball in his two front hooves. "Kiohiden!" Flint yelled and shoot the fire ball, hitting the stallion a mile and a half away. "So I owe you that explain, right?" He turned to the mare who watched the whole thing. "One, my name is Octavia." Octavia shook Flint. "And yes you bucking do!" The two of them went to the park so Flint can explain. "The fire comes from a demon sealed within me. That's why I can do... Well this." Flint said and lit his hoof on fire. "Whoa whoa whoa. You have a demon inside of you? Like Trick does?" Octavia asked. Flint didn't know this and knowing Trick, the pony who everypony called phsyco, had a demon didn't settle in Flints brain so well. "I didn't know that. Was he born with the demon?" Flint asked. "I don't know, he never talks about it. Says all the memories of his fillyhood are lock away in some kind of crazy made up mind Vault. And that's also the demons name apparently, Vault. He's just some phsyco pony, but Vinyl seems to like him, so I put up with it." Octavia sighed. "I was born with mine. I didn't even know until I was five years old. The demon is apart of me and because of it, I was alone. I had no friends, not until I fought in the tournament." Flint said. "Well, Trick doesn't have that many close friends. He mostly calls his friends, acquaintances. Says the only pony he needs is Luna. The only other thing I can say about Trick is that the demon is held inside by a necklace that Nightshade he'd forcefully put on him. Like I said, he's just not right, he's worse than Pinkie pie. I'll catch you later sometime." Octavia said and smiled at Flint before walking back towards town. "Flint Hooves, I haven't said my name yet. So there you go." Flint said smiling. "See you around, and stay weary of Trick."Octavia said. Flint had gotten warnings about Trick for so long but he wasn't about to accept this. He was going to talk to Nightshade, and if that didn't work, he would try Tricks wife. Flint wanted answers, and he wanted them now. Nightshade was helping Luna with cooking lessons, mainly because Trick didn't have the time to do so. Winter as well helped. Flint knocked on the open door as soon as he arrived at the castle near ponyville. It was a small castle meant to be an ordinary home. Sadly the builders went overboard and made it a castle. It was made so Luna can be close to Winter and Trick can stay with his buddy Nightshade. "We will get it." A lovely voice spoke. The door opened revealing a dark blue alicorn with a starry mane that flowed in non existing wind. "Flint? What art thou doing here?" Luna asked confused. "I came to ask you and Nightshade some questions about Trick. Do you mind?" Flint asked. "Umm, sure we do not mind." Luna said and led Flint into the living room A strong smell of burnt hay bacon filled the air. "What would thou like to know?" Luna asked. Nightshade and Winter ran out of the kitchen. "Oh! Hi Flint." Winter said cheerfully. "Don't go in there. I'm still trying to find out what Luna did wrong." Nightshade said coughing a couple times. "Yes, our cooking skills are not as well as Tricks, but sometimes he seems so distant when he's cooking, and his busy schedule as well. Umm a Flint wanted to know little more about Trick." Luna said smiling. "Really?" Nightshade asked and sat down on the couch. "Yeah and I'm sure that she isn't that bad of a cook." Flint said. "You see the black smoke?" Nightshade asked. "Yeah I can smell burned... food." Flint said. "The hay fries actually didn't turn out that bad. You'd think that it's the cause of it, but that smoke it from burned water. Not steam, but smoke. I didn't even think that is was possible." Nightshade said. "Don't be mean. She'll get the hang of it." Winter said defending her friend. "Yes, we are not that bad." Luna said sighing, "The only cooking we've ever done was with Celestia making cake. But even then it was very hard. So, what about our dear husband would you like to know? And why the interest in such a subject?" "What can you tell me about Vault?" Flint asked and Nightshade almost fell out of his chair. Luna's eyes went wide when Flint asked the question, never again did she want to hear that name. "Why would thou bring up such a vile subject! We never want to here that name again!" Luna shouted in the royal canterlote voice, then teleported out from the room. "What about you Nightshade?" Flint asked. "Sorry, but I'm not going to talk about that either." Nightshade said leaving Winter and Flint alone. "Winter, please tell me?" Flint asked. "Actaully I never met Vault. If you try a different approach, maybe Luna will talk. She is in her room. She goes there when she is upset." Winter said and showed Flint the way. Winter the left Flint at Luna's bedroom door and Flint knocked. Luckily he heard her answer. Flint could tell she was crying. "What does thou want? We aren't going to talk about... Him!" Luna said, unable to stop crying. "Then can I come in and explain?" Flint asked. "... ... sure". Luna opened the door to let Flint inside. Flint walked in and he sat next to her on the bed. "I asked before, because I heard about it from someone and I was told to stay weary of him. I had to ask. I was born with a demon in me." Flint said and lit his hoof on fire. "Yes, Trick told us about that. However you are able to control your abbilitys. Vault is more powerful that nanny pony or any other being in history. And Trick never even told us how Vault got there.". Luna blows her muzzle into a tissue. "We are sorry about how we treated you Flint Hooves, and even though it is such a vile subject to give me. I wish I could tell you more." Luna said and wiped her muzzle. "I didn't always control it though. I'd lose control and hurt somebody." Flint said with a sigh. "Well, Trick says since Vault is inside Tricks mind, all the memories of what Vault has done to ponies are now a Tricks memories as well.". Luna again blew into her tissue. "But Vault is trapped inside of Trick. The only harm Vault can do to Trick is to take over his body. But that'll never happen because the necklace he wears keeps Vault inside even better than Trick could without the necklace, and only Nightshade can take it off. Again, I'm sorry for how We treated thee. We just want the best for Trick.". "Well he's lucky then. I grew up being shunned." flint said chuckling. He knew that his past was no laughing matter, but he wanted to make Trick seem better. "Like she cares about your petty sob story." A males voice said and a black pegasus stallion wanted out of the shadows. He had a black mane and tail with white tips. "Who art thou! How did thee get into thy bedchamber!". "The Names Shadow Fleet. I'm as well a Brawler." The black pegasus said smiling. "Joshua? Damn you! Luna this guy is trouble." Flint said gritting his teeth. "Who ever he is, he is no match for the Princess of the Night!" Luna shot a bolt of lightning but Shadow caught it in his hooves. "Cute and feisty, I like you already." Shadow said and Flint jumped at him bursting his entire body with flames. "Don't you dare touch her!" Flint yelled in an almost demonic voice. Flint pinned Shadow to the wall, but Shadow's smile didn't leave his face. It was off to Flint, but it was obvious that Luna has now seen his Sizmere form. "FLINT! I THOUGHT YOU TOLD ME THAT BRAWLERS MEEN US NO HARM!" The deep voice rang out. Luna was surprised and spoke, "Sister, why do you use the royal Canterlote voice?" Flint shook off the identity of Deep Voice and focused on Joshua. He smirked menacingly, which frightened Luna. "Of Flint, did you actually think that your the only brawler here? There is something else bigger going on, something you can't fathom." Shadow said continuing to smirk menacingly and then he dissolved into the shadows and disappeared. To that, he was gone. Author's Note Yes, finally Joshua is in. Joshua is my favorite character cause throughout the story, he's full of mystery and is perfect for a villain like character. Still he is... Damn I can spoil this character for you! More to come next time in Pony Brawler, more brawlers will appear, so stay tuned. season one: episode 5 "Flint... we don't think... what we are trying to say...," Luna said but Flint left afraid of what she might now think of him, "we don't think you as a monster..." Flint bumped into Trick, knowing new information, he resident to speak. "I saw Joshua, he was in Luna's bedroom but he got away." Flint said calmly. "Well at least I know you protected my wife, I know about other brawlers. We are to meet at Sugercube Corner now." Trick said, he was trying really hard to not freak out as he moved slightly faster to Luna's room. Flint saw Octavia sitting, all bummed out under a tree in the picnic orchard. "Hey way the low look?"Flint asked and Octavia squealed in surprise. She didn't expect to see Flint. "Tell me more!" Octavia asked trying to dodge the question, "what happened when you had Sizmere." Flint sighed and sat down next to her. "Well, at times I had hurt people and not on purpose to. I was shunned my whole life until I became a brawler. That's about it." Flint said, he didn't want to go into to much detail about his past, including that he bursts into flames when he is mad.his angry fuels the flame. "Oh, sorry to hear..." Octavia paused before asking, "if I moved away... would you forget me?" Flint was surprised she'd ask that. When he first met her, he scared her silly. "No, I couldn't forget you..." Flint replied nervously but truthfully. "Good, I'll be in Canterlot for a couple weeks to a month. I have a concert there. Will you wait for me?" Octavia asked nervously. "Sure, you can count on it." Once Flint made it to Sugarcube, he looked and didn't see a brawler he'd recognized. All he saw were four stallions at a table. "Excuse me, I'm trying to find some brawlers." Flint asked then stallions. "You must be Flint Metiores... I mean Flint Hooves." One stallion replied. Leave it to Trick to find brawlers Flint never met. Trick then bounced in the conversation. "Well hi there Flint! Look who I found, FANS AND FRIENDS!" Trick said jumping up and down like Pinkie Pie. "Yeah?" Flint said. "yes yes yes! Come along everyone! We can't fight evil with empty tummies now can we?" Trick said and skips away with three weirded ponies, a one face hoofing one. "He was a lot more sane in my dimension." Flint said and followed Trick. Flint was bummed out, because the first pony he got to know is leaving. Octavia and Luna are close friends too him, well besides the fact that Trick was as well a pony. Flint technically met Trick in his dimension, so Trick is technically his first pony friend. As the ponies ate they talked about strategies and new move they had been working on. But Trick always found some way each strategy could go horribly wrong. "All I'm saying is that if we go in the Back way we would die. They would be expecting that. And if we sneak in the front they would also expect that." Trick said firmly. The four other ponies gave up trying to reason with Trick special talent. "But since I know most about this world. They would not expect an assault from above." Trick said smirking. "Did you forget brawler 101? Expect your enemy to be everywhere." Flint said plopping another hay fry in his mouth. "Yes, indeed. But like Flint said, he will be expecting that too. But this will not be any ordinary air strike. This will be a strike from 5000 feet!" Trick said smirking, The other four ponies mouths dropped. "We're going to need Benny for an air assault like that. It will be very difficult to do this plan without him." Flint said, "on another matter, is Luna doing okay? She saw me burst into flames, because I couldn't keep my anger in check." "You. What?" Trick asked, Flint could tell Trick was holding in anger. "It's. Ok. I'll talk to her later, for now I need to visit Zecora for some clouds in a bottle and cloud walking potions. You find Benny and meet me at Golden oaks library. I'll have Nightshade with us as well." Trick said and pulled out the staff, teleporting to the Everfree. "Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that." Flint said andnwalked out leaving the four confused ponies to themselves. Rarity was going home when two hooves pulled her into the shadows. "Shush for a moment." Rarity heard a stallion said and then three stallions ran up. "Where did she go? Damn I wanted that white flank'" one pony said and then they ran off. The stallion let go of Rarity when he confirmed that the three ponies were gone. "Sorry about that. I couldn't let a mare be raped." The stallion said. "Thank you kind sir! Here let me take you to my boutique, I'll get you out of those... Dirty clothes." Rarity said, grabbing the stallion and pulls him inside the shop. "If you insist." The stallion walked with Rarity to her boutique and walked inside. The first outfit was a Daring doo costume. "No." The second was a Sherlock pones outfit minus the pipe."not your color." Then rarity found a bat pony outfit. "Yes! Perfect, it goes with you coat and... Charming personality." Rarity said, smiling cheerfully at dressing him up. "How about you get me a black jacket and a white shirt. That fits my shadow brawler type." The stallion said. "Ok darling, I'll be back is just a moment." Rarity said, then went upstairs and a little unicorn filly came down. "Hi mister! What's your name!?" She had a big smile on her face that could melt the coldest of hearts. But it could not light up a soul encased in such a dark shadow. "The names Shadow Fleet and I'm a brawler." Shadow said smiling. "Oh my Celestia! Your a brawler too!? That's so cool! What can you do?" The filly start to bounce around shadow. "Show me! show me! show me! show me! show me!" Rarity then yelled at the filly from upstairs. "Sweetie bell, stop pestering our guest!" "Sweetie Bell, huh? You said your a brawler too. Does that mean that you know another brawler?" Shadow asked. "Uh huh! His name is Flint. He's living at Sweet apple acres with the apple family. If you want I can show you!" Sweetie bell shot Shadow a huge smile and sparkling eyes. But again it was not strong enough to lighten up the shadow brawlers heart. "So you know Flint. Did you know his secret?" Shadow asked smiling. "Um, he can light his hooves on fire?" Shadow chuckled at the fillys cliche cuteness. "What's funny mister?". "Where do you think that fire comes from?" Shadow asked. "Magic. Where else could it come from silly billy?" Sweetie asked. "How about a demon?" Shadow asked smiling and leaning in. Sweetie bell took a step back. "A d-d-d-demon?" "Yeah, Sizmere. The demon was sealed away inside Flint before he was born. The demon is apart of him and when he can't keep his anger in check, his entire body burst into flames. His voice also sounds very demonic." Shadow explained. Shadow waited for a reaction out of the scared filly but Sweetie belle was to afraid to talk. After a minute or two she spoke up but was nearly silent. "do you have a demon?". "No, I'm only apart of the darkness. I'm demon free." Shadow said. He was slightly pleased at scaring the filly. Right then Rarity came down from upstairs. "Why sweetie belle, you seem like you've seen a ghosts, is anything wrong." Rarity said. "Noeverything'sfineimgoingoitforawhilebye!" Sweetie said and ran out the door like a small white blur. "Well... That was strange. Um, here are your clothes darling. I used a black diamond on the white shirt to match your coat, do you like it?" Rarity said, Shadow looked at the white shirt and saw the blacked diamond. "Fancy. Thank you." Shadow said smiling. Rarity smiled. "It was nothing darling, and don't even think about paying me. You already did that by saving me from those scoundrels." Rarity said and gave shadow a hug, "Now, I'm sorry to part with you so quickly but I'm a little behind on some dresses for the gala in a few weeks. Good bye now." Rarity raced back upstairs and went into work mode. "The gala? Wait I didn't get your name miss." Shadow said. "Oh I'm sorry darling. Ahem! My name is Rarity, fashionista extrortanair!" Rarity said and She stoke a pose that made Shadow chuckle. "Again I'm sorry to part ways so quickly, I must finish these dresses quickly." Rarity sighed. "My name is Shadow Fleet. I'm want they call a brawler. I can help if you want." Shadow said smiling. "Nononoooo! You've been too kind darling. Do you have a place to stay?" Rarity asked. "No, I just arrived here." Shadow replied. "I have a bed in the studio, your welcome to stay here if you'd like." Rarity said and gave him a hug, "And again, thank you from saving me from those ruffians." Then there was a knock at the door. "Let me get that." Rarity opened the door to a grinning Trick. Shadow vanished into a shaded spot so Trick won't see him, luckily Trick didn't notice him. "Hello my dear! How has your day been going?" Trick asked. "Hello Trick." Rarity said, she didn't look happy to see Trick. Usually nopony was happy to see Trick. "My day was going very well unti-" Rarity said, Trick walk past Rarity inside to boutique, "Come on in then!" "Thank you." Trick said smiling, Rarity then scowled at Trick. "This pony is a nutjob!" Rarity said under her breathe. "I need some sky blue fabric and pearl white fabric as well." Trick said. Shadow watch the two as he was entirely invisible in the shade. Rarity then sold the fabric to Trick. "Thank you my dear! You are saving Equestria!" Rarity said unamused, "And tell me how selling you fabric, that your probably going to rip or tear, going to save Equestria?" Trick just smiled. "Exactly!" Trick said and blasted out the door before Rarity could question further. "Well he's an interesting fellow." Shadow said walking out of the shade, becoming visible once more. Shadow didn't want to mention that he knew who Trick was. "Yes, interesting, that's what he is." Rarity said, she didn't want to be rude in front of shadow and say bad things about ponies. "So Shadow, I need to finish these dresses. I'll be down in a while, until then... " Rarity hoofs him a list and bits, "Can you be a dear and go get these for me?" "Sure, I'd love to help." Shadow said and walked out. Author's Note Brawler facts #1: there are multiple times of brawlers, 99percent of them had come from a bad past. 75percent has demons inside or on them, 20percent has a spirit of some kind in or on them, and the remaining five percent is human. Brawler database: a Shadow brawler can use the darkness as a weapon or a shield. It's one of the most trickiest to control without a demon or spirit of some kind. They can also travel through the dark gate by entering a shady or dark area and appear in another shady or dark area anywhere in the world. Though doing that is actually extremely dangerous. season one: episode 6 Flint had gotten rumor of a pony in canterlot, but Pinkie's balloon he rides was being used by Trick. Which meant that he had a take the train, but didn't know where to go. He then saw Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and Scootaloo coming out from Sugarcube Corner. He then decided to ask if they knew where the train was. "Hey, girls. I have a question to ask you." Flint said smiling friendly at them. "AHHHHHHHH!!!!! DEMON PONY!!!!!!" They all shouted in unison, then ran away in a yellow, orange, and white blur. "That was weird. I suppose that it might be some kind of weird game." Flint said and then saw Vinyl. "Sup Vinyl, can I ask you a question?" Flint asked. "Sure bra!" Vinyl said, then whispered in his ear, "But you didn't hear it from me." Vinyl then spoke in a regular tone, "So whatcha wanna know?" "Um... I was only going to ask where the train is." Flint said raising a eye brow. "Oh! Never mind what I said. Go to town square, find Sugarcube corner, then stand in front and look to the left. You should see it, if you don't... If you don't then you need glasses bra." Vinyl replied. "Thanks, Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and, Scootaloo were acting weird. Do you know anything about that?" Flint asked. "I have no idea, they were whispering and gasping the whole time. So I heard from Trick that some bad dude is in town. If there is, I think he'll give in to Trick. Ficken pony's insane when he's fighting, especially if he uses that staff of his." Vinyl replied. "A bad pony, huh? Might be Joshua. Keep me posted, okay?" Flint asked. "Ok see ya later bra." Vinyl said. Flint headed for the train station. But when he got there he remembered something... He had no money. Flint then went to Sweet Apple Acres and saw Applebloom panicking in front of Applejack. "Applebloom are you okay? Your starting to make me worry about you." Flint said. He originally wanted to ask for money for the train ride, but Applebloom looked like she saw a ghost. Applebloom turned around and her eyes went wide. "D-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d..." Applebloom stuttered in fright. "well? Spit it out sis." Applejack said firmly. "DEMONPONY!!!!!!" Applebloom shouted and She ran off in a dusty blur kicking up dirt everywhere. "Uh, Flint, mind explainin why ma sis called ya a demonpony?" Applejack asked confused. "I'm starting to think that she found out about my past." Flint said and sighed. "Ah'd like to know yer past, and don't lie. I'm the element of Honesty, ah know a lie when ah see one." Applebloom said firmly, Flint sat down with his back to a tree. He figured he had to tell them sooner or later, he hoped that it would be later. "Before I was born, a demon was sealed inside me. The demon was apart of me and I was shunned. I lost all my friends and was called demonboy. When I became a brawler, I met Benny. He was the first to except me even if I'm part demon. I was alone before I met him." Flint said and Applejack realized that he was telling the truth. Applejack hugged Flint afterwards. "I'm sorry Flint. It must of been hard on you." Applejack said, After a few minutes she released the embrace, "Now what was the other thing you came for?" "I heard Benny might be in canterlot, so I was going to ask for money for the train." Flint replied. "Oh! Is that all?" Apple jack asked and handed him a bag of bits, "Half of that should get you to Canterlot, and there's some extra if somthin catches your eye." Applejack winks and goes back to bucking apple trees while Flint head for the station. Before he left, he looked back to say one more thing. "Can you explain to Applebloom about my past?" Flint asked. "Yes, Ah need to set that filly straight. She and her friends take things too seriously an jump to conclusions." Applejack said and bucked a tree, all the apples fell into the buckets below, "Now you'd best be goin, you don't want to miss that train of yers." Flint made it to the train and then to Canterlot. He then looked for Octavia. He had planned on staying at her place, mainly because he didn't want to see Luna after she saw him burst into flames. He walked up to a mare. "Excuse me miss, I'm looking for Octavia. Do you know where she lives?" Flint asked. The mare scoffed at Flint. "Tourists." The mare said and walked away with her nosed in the air. "Flint? Is that you?" Flint turned and saw Octavia, "Never talk to anypony in Canterlot. There all snobs. I'm a teensy bit snobbish sometimes but these ponies are 24/7 snobs." "Hey, I was going to ask if I can stay at your place. I'm looking for someone here, but I don't have a place to stay." Flint said smiling cheerfully, he was happy to see Octavia again. "Uhh sure, follow me." Octavia said, she let him to her house and the two stepped inside, "So, who else were your looking for?" "One pony at this moment. He is a brawler like me and my first friend." Flint said. "Oh! Well at the orchestra I heard some snobs talking about a crazy pegusus in the gardens. Tomorrow we should investigate. But for now we should get some sleep." Octavia said yawning. "Thanks for letting me us your spare bedroom." Flint said and Octavia looked at Flint awkwardly. "You don't have a spare bedroom, do you?" Flint asked, blushing awkwardly. "Yes, I do... Unless yoooooou..." Octavia said hiding her blush. "No, I'll stick with the spare bedroom." Flint said still blushing. Octavia let of a sigh of relief. "Phe- I mean goodnight." Octavia said. Flint said goodnight and almost instantly fell asleep. He started to dream, the dream was when Flint first met Trick. When Flint woke up he was on the floor. How he got there, he had no idea. It was still night out and Octavia brushed in the room with a worried face. Apparently she heard Flint fall out of bed. "Flint are you ok?" Octavia's mane was in a serious bed head. "Fine, but you kinda look cute with a bedhead." Flint said staring. "After sleeping at Vinyl house a couple of times you learn to fortify your side of the bed. So were you have a nightmare?" Octavia said leaning in. "Don't remember. Sorry for worrying you." Flint said and Octavia hugged him. "It's fine, just don't fall again.". Flint went back to bed and started to dream. He was in the crowd of one of the tournaments back in his dimension. Unfortunately he was a pony in a human crowd. Down on the floor was the human version of him. The announcer blared his mic. "Ladies and gentlemen!!!! In the ring we have... FLINT METIOLES!!!!" The crowd roared as Flint threw his hands in the air and his battle music played. "and his challenger. A newcomer in the Brawler tourneys, a man shrouded in mystery, he wouldn't tell us anything about him and the Government ain't got shit on him. He's... THE TRICKSTER!!!!" A cloud of smoke exploded from the other side of the ring. Flint shot a minor morning star at the smoke. It went in but came strait out hit in floor in front of him. A voice spoke through the smoke. "You have potential in that attack. But you are to rash and rely too much on brute force." The smoke dispersed. In front of Flint was a man with a white tux and a red bow tie, he also had a white top hat and a staff. "Now, prepare yourself for battle!" Flint watched Trick and his human self fight. He saw Trick counter and block all the moves he threw at Trick. "Like I said... you aren't thinking about what I'll do... your only thinking about your next attack. Not any of mine." Trick said. Flints whole body bursts into flames and jumps at Trick. Trick frowns and steps out of the way. After Flint regains his balance he jumps again. This time Trick telports on top of Flint and hits him with the staff. "And you think you can outwit an Expert strategist? Ha! I may be new but I know how to fight!" Trick said. A human jumped in the ring and tackles Flint. It was Benny, Flint was dreaming of his past. "Flint get a hold of yourself." Benny said and a burst of flames burnt him, "damn it." Benny punched Flint in the face and the flames despersed, knocking out Flint. A bright light woke up Flint and he confirmed that he was still a pony. He then looked to the side and saw Octavia. "Come on wake up Flint. There's somepony here to see you"Octavia said. She didn't look happy at all, so it was easy to guess who it was. "It's Trick, isn't it?" Flint asked. Octavia nods and they both walk into the living room. "Ah! Hello Flint, I hope I wasn't late." Trick said smiling and pulled a carrot out of his hat, he then started to eat. "Actaully your early. I haven't started to look yet." Flint replied. Trick snickered and pointed at Octavia. "Yes I noticed." Trick said smirking. Octavia and Flint both blush. "S-s-shut up Trick!" Octavia said hiding her blush. "Octavia and I are just friends. I asked if I could use her spare bedroom." Flint said. "Teeheehee! Oh I know!" Trick said and literally hops off the couch, "Now, the royal guards just arrested a crazy Pegasus flying into Celestia's bed chamber." He opens the door and Flint heard him yell outside. "Come along Flint! ADVENTURE!!!!" Trick shouted. "Sorry Octavia. I didn't plan on Trick showing up." Flint said sighing. "It's ok. You find your friend, it sounds like he's in trouble. " Octavia said smiling, yet bummed to see Flint go. "I got that, but the pony can be different. I only came because of the rumor. There is no positive that it is Benny, only a maybe." Flint said hoping that it was in fact Benny and not some opponent that they had to fight. "I assure you it is indeed our friend Benny. Not even a phsyco Pegasus would fly into castle bedchamber." Trick said, turning around and looked Flint in the eyes, "And trust me, you don't want Celestia to get mad at you. She's worse than me or you." Trick turned and continued to walk. "You'll have to go without me. The rumor you heard is different than mine. Plus I'm the last person, er, pony that Celestia wants to see. Don't ask." Flint said. "I don't have too." Trick smirks at his latest mental smoke bomb. Trick head for the castle and advises Flint to watch out for anymore Brawlers. When Trick came to the castle doors the guards immediately blocked his way. "Now now! Is that a way to treat a famous adventurer?" Trick asked and batted his eyes, but The guards never said a word, "Ugh! Do I have to do this every time I go through the front. I new I should've went at the back entrance. those guards know Equestrian.". Trick pulled a plush moon out from his hat and the Guards let him through. When he came to the under ground dungeon he found the Pegasus writing an escape plan. He was completely unaware of Tricks presence. "Whatcha writing there pal!?" Trick asked smirking. "The names Tana and I'm not telling you. I'm busy you asshole." The pony shot out. Trick realized that she wasn't Benny, but was still one of the Brawlers that they needed to find. "Well I can already tell your not from this dimension." Trick said and Tana was about to ask when trick spoke first, "The term is Flankhole. And yes I have had that said to me before." Trick shrugged and started to laugh. "Who are you?" Tana asked fiercely. Trick answered her in a deep bat pony voice, "I'm somepony, you should be afraid of. I may not look like much." Trick points at his whole body. He wasn't skinny, fat, or muscular, he was a mix of all three. "But I can traumatize you faster than you can say help." Trick said smirking. "Fuck me, Trickster? Is that you?" Tana said surprised. Trick flashed green and was wearing the white tux and white he always fought in. He did a slight bow with his hat, "The one and only deary!" "I didn't think that I'll ever say this, but I'm so glad to see you." Tana said smiling. Trick snickered, he always adored that ponies didn't like to see him. He was always a... Tricky bastard. "Yes, I know, I'm a handsome stallion. I see your in quite a pickle there." Trick said and tapped the cell bars, "I'm guess you were trying to fly with your newly a acquired wings hmm?" "Yeah, but I'm no Pegasus." Tana said and stepped more into the light revealing a horn on her head. Tana was an alicorn and that surprised Trick. "Plus don't flatter yourself, you not that handsome and you still not my type." Tana said chuckling. "Pssh! Of course I am! But unfortunately for you, I'm married to the most beautiful princess in the land." Trick put his hat to his chest like some romantic stallion and looked of into the distance like some day dreamer, and just as quick as he had done this he snapped back into the conversation. "So! I suppose you also can't use. Your magic yet... Hence you trying to write that escape plan with your hooves..." Trick said smirking again. "Magic? I'm a brawler, I don't believe in magic. It's only cheap illusions. I'm still trying to find a way to use my Stardust again." Tana said pouting. Trick started to laugh at an uncomfterbly loud tone. "Always with the jokes Tana. Of course magic is real! Why look here!" Trick said, then he reached inside his hat and pulled out his staff, "Remember this? You don't remember the fireballs or eletictric strikes. Do you no remember me teleporting? How else could I be everywhere! How else could you be an alicorn!? Explain that with science!". "I'm still trying to figure it out. Plus, you being married to a princess? I got to see this." Tana said. Author's Note I know that this story has more dislikes then likes, but frankly, I don't care. It's fun writing this. Season one: Episode 1A young man was sitting on a bench relaxing. He had light red hair with one black zigzag streak and a luminescent light blue eye. Sitting on the bench was the last thing that he remembered before dozing off and waking up in a bedroom. He rubbed his eyes and finally realized that he was a pony. He then panicked and a dark blue mare and a pearl white stallion ran in. "hoho! Nightshade, your finally awake. I told you let me deal with the huge door. My special dynamite is very powerful, your lucky to wake up so early." Trick said, then reaches out his hoof, but the pony slaps it away. Trick crossed his hooves. "Sheesh! I'm sorry but you were the one who tried to defuse my undefusing dynamite!" Trick said, then took the staff of Starswirl from his hat and teleport a smoothie onto his nightstand. "Here, I made you this." Trick said smiling. "The names Flint. Who's Nightshade?" The pony asked. Trick finally realized that the pony looked nothing like Nightshade and started to wonder what was going on. "Frrriiiiick. Luna, I'll be down in a minute." Trick said, then Luna nods and leaves the room. Trick turned to the pony and got right in his face until they were eye to eye. "Who the buck are you and what did you do with Nightshade?" Trick asked fiercely. "I'm Flint. I'm a brawler. I don't know who Nightshade is." Flint said. Suddenly a flush came from the bathroom and Nightshade walked out. "Oh your awake. Trick, I went on a walk at night and found this pony passed out on the ground." Nightshade said. Trick looked over at Nightshade. "Nightshade! You shouldn't have gone out in your condition! The special dynamite blew up sending you crashing into the wall! Winter diagnosed a concussion for Celestia's sake."Trick said, then sighed and look back to Flint and point my hoof at him. "And don't think I'm done with you!" Trick said, then turned and heads downstairs. "You stay here. We'll talk in a second." Nightshade said and ran out to catch up with Trick. Trick went down stairs and pours a glass of cider. "Trick dear. You must stop your drinking." Luna said, Trick turned to see his lovely wife. "I know Lulu, just, Nightshade went out last night and brought back a complete stranger. You know how much I worry about hurt friends." Trick said, Luna gave him a hug and kiss. "I know hon, but drinking isn't the answer." Luna said, then Trick sighed and pours the cider in the drain. "Your right Lulu. I'll try to stop." Trick said, then turns to see Nightshade in the doorway. "Nightshade! Why aren't you in bed!?" Trick shouted. "I came to talk." Nightshade replied. "Fine, but I'm getting you to bed no matter how much I sound like Winter." Trick said. "He was passed out in the garden. I couldn't leave him there." Nightshade explained. "Whatever, just get back in bed. I don't want to see you hurt." Trick said, he was definitely worried. "Fine, but see that Applejack looks after him, okay?" Nightshade asked. "Got it, so what do you want to talk about?" Trick asked. Nightshade does a facehoof and said, "that was what I wanted to talk about. Luna help me here." "Trick darling, that's what he wanted to talk about." Luna said And Trick blushed out of embarrassment. "Oh... I'm gonna go see if applejack can do. Until then, let Winter talk to Flint, she can always get answers out of anypony." Trick said then walked out the door to sweet apple acres. It was not long after that Flint got a visit from Trick. Winter was also in the room and she walked up to Trick. "What did Applejack say?" Winter asked Trick. "She said it was fine as long as he's ready to work. What did Flint have to say for himself?" Trick Replied. "He said that he is a human last time he checked. He is also called a brawler, whatever that is. I'm worried for him." Winter said, she glanced over to him with sad eyes. "What are you talking about over there?" Flint asked, he had apparently caught Winter's glance. "It's nothing you should be concerned about." Trick replied, then walked over and sat down next to Flint. "So Flint, I hear your a human! I'm afraid to tell you your stuck here for at least 10 moons until the mirror portal opens again." Trick said, then backed up and pulled a smoothie out from his hat. "Here, it's bannana!" Trick said, then skipped out of the room. "I can't tell if he is being rude or nice." Flint said. "It takes a while to understand him. He was being nice." Winter smiled gently and Trick walked back in. "Oh and have fun in Equestria! Would you like me to teach you to walk again?" Trick asked. "That will be nice. Thank you both." Flint said and Winter giggled. Trick grabbed Flint and dragged him into the living room. "Ok Flint, stand up." Trick said, then Flint awkwardly stands up. "Ok now just crawl like a human baby." Trick said, then walked out of the room leaving a dumbfounded Flint standing in the living room. "He is very confusing." Flint said. The next thing that happened was Winter taking Flint to Sweet Apple Acres. Winter then knocked on Applejack' s front door. Trick knew spying was wrong, but he had a suspicious feeling about Flint. Trick used the Staff of Starswirl to watch Flint. "So I just help with chores?" Flint asked. "That's what Trick said. I wonder what's taking Applejack so long." Winter said. sometime earlier Trick went into the bed chamber of Luna Princess of the Night. As he walked in, Luna was already waiting for for him. "What took you so long tricky poo?" Luna said. Trick went over, took off his hat, and walked towards the balcony. "I'm sorry Luna, it's just been stressful this week." Trick said. Luna walked up next to him and put her wings over him. "Hey, try having my life. I'm sure I can handle your crazy adventures." Luna said smiling, Trick just snickered. "Trust me dear, you don't want this crazy brain." Trick said, then looked down at the necklace, the only thing keeping the most evil being in history lock away inside his mind Vault. a bit later, but still earlier Trick went back to Nightshades house. Ever since it got the staff of Starswirl from Daring do, Trick had mastered it's magical abilities and attributes. It's like looking at a earth pony Starswirl! Trick knocked on the door. "Nightshade! I'm back, Luna wanted me to keep an eye on Flint so I guess we can be roomies!" Trick shouted. Nightshade opens the door. "Sure I guess, but Winter sleeps with me. You'll have to use the spare bedroom." Nightshade said. "Ok! I can't wait! I brought everything I need in here.". I point at my hat. "So, did Flint learn to walk yet?" Trick said with a smirk. "Winter took him to Sweet Apple Acres. You they should arrive there...," Nightshade said and Trick vanished, "...any second." Back to date Trick was spying on Flint from the distance. Applejack finally opened up the door. "Hi Applejack, I brought Flint." Winter said. Applejack then shook Flints hooves rapidly up and down "Welcome to Equestria Flint. Ah hope yer stay here is as welcoming as possible. Let me introduce you to the family." Applejack said, then stopped shaking Flints hoof and motioned him to follow her inside. Flint walks it and saw an old green mare, a burly looking red stallion, and a little filly that dashed up to see Flint' s cutie mark. Flint' s cutie mark was a hoof that was on fire, at least that's what he thought it was. "Hiya mister! What's yer cutie mark mean? Are you a fire pony!?" Applebloom said, then started to bounce around Flint asking question faster than he could answer. Then after a few seconds Applejack pulled her away and introduced him to Big Macintosh and Granny Smith. "So Flint, you look strong, follow me I'll teach ya how to applebuck." Applejack said, then walked back outside motioning Flint to follow. Trick was hiding in a tree sipping on a chocolate shake with a super silly straw nearby. "You see, I'm what they call a brawler, but I'd be happy to help with the chores. I wonder if I can still..." Flint said holding his right forehoof up and it burst into flames. The fire seemed to come off the hoof without burning him. "I still can, I totally still can." Flint said cheerfully. Trick did a spit take. He knew this Flint's name was familiar. Trick jumped from tree surprising Flint and Applejack. "Trick! What were you doin in my apple trees!?" Applejack said firmly. "Umm, well I wanted to see if they were comfy as Rainbow dash says they are" Trick replied, he was praying to Luna she would believe it. Applejack sends a questioning stare at Trick. "Okaaaaay." Applejack said, then Trick walked over to Flint. "I knew your name was familiar. I went to your dimension 2 years ago. I even won one of the tournaments, remember me now?". Trick said pulling a black mask from my hat and put it on. "I was... Trickster!" Trick said cheerfully. "No way! You and I always ended up in the finals. You were my best rival and sparing partner. You even helped me perfect Kiohiden. I wondered why you vanished." Flint said. "Yes, but you never wanted me to teach you Adventure-fu." Trick said. Applejack looked at Trick puzzled. "What's adventure-fu?" Applejack then mumbled to herself, "this pony is a nutjob." Trick pulled a black board from his hat. "We'll my dear Applejack, Adventure-fu is where you punch your enemy then roll around them while they're staggering back. For short, you never stay in the same place when you punch. I always won with my good ok staff of starswirl." Trick said, he was waving around the staff and it fires off some fireworks. "You didn't always win against me. I won about half our brawls." Flint said smirking. "Well, I know I completely destroyed that Shao kan guy. Well I'll see you later, can't wait to fight!" Trick said. Flint tried to say no, but Trick was already gone. "Bummer! I always enjoy a good brawl." Flint said bummed out. Trick went back to Nightshade's house where we got ready for bed. "I found out who Flint is, he's from a dimension call brawler. I remember him from my trip there." Trick said, then proceed to tell Nightshade and Winter all about the Brawler dimension. "Let me get this correct... Flint is called a Brawler in a dimension that holds fighting tournaments. There are four brackets, north, south, east, west. He uses a move called kihoda." Nightshade said. "Kiohiden." Winter corrected. "Yeah thanks." Nightshade replied. "And some of those tournaments were won by yours truly." Trick said, then pulled a whole trophy case with fighting trophies. Nightshade and winter are dumb founded on how Trick pulled out the massive case "Then the other half of trophies belong to Flint? How long were you in that dimension?" Nightshade asked surprised. "I have no idea, maybe a year." Trick said, then shoves the case back in the hat and puts the hat on the hat rack. "So I guess we should head that way." Trick said, then pulls pajamas out of his mane and heads for the guest room. "Um... It's time for us to get sleep." Nightshade said. "Okay, but I'm getting the special treatment." Winter said And started to pull Nightshade. "I think that's the last one." Flint said breathless. "Well good! Come along Flint, you got to get up early. Trick told me he's gonna take you on a tour of Ponyville tomorrow so you'll need the rest." Applejack said, then whispered into Flints ears, which was weird since he still wasn't acquainted with his pony form. "Trust me, you'll need the rest if yer gonna spend the day with him." She whispered. "Yeah, I guess that your right. This is a good workout though. I'll need to get used to being a hu...pony." Flint said correcting himself, "bed or couch. I'm fine with either, considering that I don't own a bed of my own where I'm from." "Well then I don't mind sleeping on the couch tonight, yer the guest.". Applejack set up the bed and headed down stairs. Flint had a lot to think about tonight. Season one: Episode 2 As Flint open his eyes the next morning, he saw an exited Trick in the corner. He then proceeded to panic because a crazy pony snuck inside the house. "Huh, what going on?" Flint said still half asleep. "Hohoho! We need a head start if were gonna tour Ponyville today!" Trick said, then grabs the staff from his hat and teleports them both to Sugarcube corner. "Where are we?" Flint asked and a pink mare suddenly came out of nowhere and was almost muzzle to muzzle to him. "Can I help you?" Flint asked. "HimynamesispinkiepiebutallmyfriendscallmePinkiewhatsyours!??!" The Pink mare said, then Flint looks over at Trick for answers. "Really, you didn't get any of that? She asked what your name is bra." Trick said. Flint needed to be more pony like and looked at his cutie mark again. Applejack had explained about the cutie mark to Flint so he knew what to say if somepony asked what his talent was. "The name is Flint Hooves. What was your name again?" Flint asked. "MynamesPinkieareyounewintown!? GASP! If your new in town then you must not have any friends here!? Don't worry I'm gonna throw a big party for yooou!!" Pinkie said, then ran off in a pink blur. Flint had no idea what to say. "I thought we could get Pinkie pie early so we wouldn't have to stop in the middle." Trick said, then turned and went inside. "Come along Flint! Muffins on me!" Trick said, then Flint heard a squee as a grey pegusus flew in after Trick. "Pinkie pie? She's high on something." Flint walked in and started introducing himself to the grey pegasus, "hi, the names Flint Hooves. What's yours?" The pegusus turned around. Revealing a cross eyed mare with muffin crumbs around her muzzle. "Hi! My names Derpy. Muffin?" Derpy said, then pulls a muffin out of thin air and hoofs it over to Flint. "Um, how did you... Oh, who am I kidding." Flint said and brushed off the crumbs on her muzzle, "you have crumbs on you." When he brushed off the last of it, Derpy hugged him. "Thanks mister! Well I got to get back to the mail, bye!" Derpy said before flying out the door. Flint looks over at Trick who was snickering the whole time. When they made eye contact Trick mouthed, "Flint and Derpy sitting in a tree, K I S S I N G.". "Your an ass... flank... whatever! I was just being friendly. I'm curious about the eyes though." Flint said. "1: yes I can be if you want to see that side of me, and 2: I have no idea but it makes her so cute." Trick said hoofing a glass of milk over to Flint and the two eat in silence. Afterwards our two ponies walk towards golden oaks library. "A tree? Please tell me that this isn't a bakery." Flint asked. Trick sighed knowing what he was talking about. "Really? That's all you had?" Trick asked, then knocked on the door and a small dragon opened the door.nFlint looked at the Dragon for a moment and then as If Trick was saying roll with it, he smiled. "Yo, what up purple dude?" Flint said. The Dragon then sighed. "Great, another Vinyl. Did you come for Twilight?" The Dragon asked. Trick spoke up first. "Why yes Spike we have! Is she home?" Trick asked. "No she went to Canterlot today but you two are welcome to look around. It's a public library after all." Spike replied. Trick stepped inside and started to skim the adventure section leaving Flint and Spike to awkwardly start a conversation. "Sorry I'm new here, the names Flint Hooves." Flint said with an awkward smile. "Spike, nice ta meet ya." Spike said holding out a claw for Flint to shake. They shook but it felt awkward not having any fingers to do so. "YES, I was wondering when she would write this!" Trick said excitedly. Spike look back at the excited Pony. "What is it?" Spike asked. Trick held up a book, the title said: Daring doo and Trick in... the Staff of Starswirl. "Daring Do? Who's she?" Flint asked and got awkward glances. As well as an unset blue pegasus mare with a rainbow mane that tackled Flint. "Daring doo is the most amazing pony EVER! She's went all across Equestria adventuring through every obstacle! She's unstoppable!" the mare said squealing. Trick then made a loud cough. "I happen to think I'm better! I'm the one who hired her to help me get this!" Trick said, then pulls out the staff and waves it around. Rainbow stare at it with awe, but quickly snaps out of it. "No way! Daring doo can beat you any day!" The mare said. The two are face to face. "Well then let's go see shall we?" Trick asked. Then both ponies rush off. "I think that I just lost my tour guide. Spike, who was that just now?" Flint asked. "That was Rainbow dash. She's just full of hot air." Spike replied. He hands Flint a map and points towards a forest, "This is were they're headed, you better go now if you wanna catch up.". "Thanks, see ya." Flint said and ran. Well, half ran and half something else. He then turned a corner and ran into a pure white unicorn mare with a purple mane. Falling from the impact, Flint noticed he was on top of her and quickly got off. "Sorry about that. Wasn't looking where I was going. The names Flint Hooves." Flint said. "Oh, it's ok darling. I wasn't paying attention since I just saw Rainbow and Trick run past, how Trick can run that fast I have no idea." The unicorn said, then started to pick up her things, "My name is Rarity. I better get going, I have a deadline to make." Rarity starts off again towards her boutique and Flint starts running towards the forest. Flint seemed to have no luck in the forest. He then heard a soft voice and checked it out. He saw a yellow pegasus mare with a pink mane humming something and picking up something. Flint walked up behind her. "Hi, I'm ..." Flint didn't even get three words in, because the mare squealed and hid behind a Bush. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. I was only going to ask for directions." Flint said awkwardly. "umm, hi." The mare said, Flint told her where he was headed. "Daring doos is that way. My names Fluttershy, what's yours." The mare said, she finally came out of the Bush. "Flint Hooves, I'm... um... Well new here." Flint said chuckling and then heard a growl. Wolves of wood came out of the bushes and Fluttershy hide behind Flint. "I have two questions. What are they and are they dangerous?" Flint said in a fierce tone. "Timber wolves and yes!". Fluttershy flew into a tree. Flint wasn't afraid at all, he actually look happy. He raised his hoof and it burst into flame. "Finally! I've been itchin for a good fight." Flint said in a very cheerful tone that surprised Fluttershy. The first Timber wolf pounced at Flint, but it missed when Flint hoofed it in its face. It then shook it off and the other two Timber wolves joined in the assault. Flint' s other three hooves lite on fire. "Now this is what I call fun." Flint said and a gleeful tone. He hit one with a right hook and followed it up by backlegging one into the other. The same one tried pouncing again, but was hit by an uppercut and it fell to pieces. Flint then produced a fire ball in his front hooves. "Kiohiden!" Flint yelled and shot the fireball at a timber wolf. The impact made it go flying a mile and a half away. Flint then glared at the last one. "Your next." Flint said smiling and the timber wolf ran away whimpering, letting Flint laugh at his victory. Fluttershy was in awe by Flints abbilitys. "How did you do that?" Fluttershy asked in awe. "I'm a brawler. Kiohiden it a move called Morning Star for a fighting style called Himoratori. You impressed?" Flint asked happy he got somewhat of a fight. "I'm... I'm a little frightened but impressed as well. Thank you." Fluttershy replied, then hugged him and flew off. Then, with his improved hearing, Flint heard yelling deep inside the forest. Flint rushed with hooves ablaze and came up to were the yelling was at. "What's going on?" Flint yelled in a battle ready tone. Author's Note Brawler terms: Himoratori- a defensive fighting still were one denses ones body structure and is able to take heavy blows
Season one: Episode 3 Three ponies surprised by his presence jumped back... Except for one. "Hohoho! It's about time you showed up bud! Now you get to see me take on the so called... Best adventurer." Trick said, Rainbow got in his face. "She is the best!" Rainbow declared. Trick pushes her aside. "If she was the best she would use an adventurers best friend!" Trick said, then pulls a cylinder object out of his hat. Flint began to panic, but the pegusi were already pestering him to put it away. "I don't care who you are Trick. But if this means I get back the staff of Starswirl, then let's do this!" Daring do said, then pulls out a whip at same time Trick pulls out the staff. Trick shoot a few bolt a Daring which she quickly dodges. Daring then takes a chance and charges at Trick. Flint knew that was a bad idea. Trick shoots a bolt a tree limb with precise timing and it fall onto Daring, knocking her out instantly. Rainbow fainted at the sight of her fallen hero. "Ha! Told you!" Trick said boosting. "Okay that was cheap shot. At least play fair." Flint said and Rainbow Dash's ears perked up. "You! You! Eerrgh!" Rainbow said, And stomped on the ground in frustration. Trick look back at Flint. "You go ahead back to sweet apple acres or ponyville. I don't care. I'll catch up with you in a bit" Trick said, then waved his staff and both him and Daring do disappeared. Flint then grabbed Rainbow before she exploded in rage. "Calm down. There is on honor in cheap shots." Flint said not letting go of Rainbow. She kept trying to get free, but Flint was stronger than her and she couldn't free herself. "I don't know what Luna sees in that phsyco, just let me go." Rainbow said angrily. "No, not until your calm." Flint said fiercely. "Fine!" Rainbow said, scowling at Flint be seemed to be calming down. "You don't seem calm yet. Your muscles are tense like you want to hit somebo... somepony." Flint said. Rainbow let out a load sigh and started to relax. "Ok. I'm done. Rainbow is aaaaall gooood." Rainbow said in a pout. Flint lets go of Rainbow Dash. "Sorry, but as a brawler, violent with anger is always trouble. I just don't want any damage from anger." Flint said. Rainbow scratched the back of her head. "Ya, sometimes I can go a little over the edge. It's just, Trick is a phsyco, don't stay around him, no matter what you think of him now." Rainbow said, then flew off. "He was a lot more sane when we brawled." Flint said with a sigh. It was a long day for Flint. It's even longer when Applebloom and two other fillies popped out of nowhere when I entered the market place. Since Applejack stopped her from finding out Flint' s talent, Applebloom was going to take advantage of this moment. "Hiya Flint! We've been looking all over for you." Applebloom said. The Pegasus filly and the unicorn we on the sides of Flint looking at his cutie mark. "Uh, Flint what does yer cutie mark mean?" The unicorn asked. "I'm a brawler. I fight in tournaments. See?" Flint said and lit his hoof on fire. The two fillies that we're bouncing around him ood and awed at the flame. The orange filly with purple hair spoke up. "That. Is. AWSOME!!!!" The pegasus said. "Yeah it is, in its own way." Flint said smiling at the fillies. "Applebloom! Come here ah need yer help somthin!" Applejack called out. Applebloom said good bye to Flint and he was left with two fillies who he didn't know. "Do the two of you have names or do am I going to be left in the blank?" Flint asked. The unicorn spoke first. "My name's sweetie belle! And that's scootaloo. And we're..." The unicorn said. The two fillies inhaled as much air as they could. "THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!!!!!!" The two shouted simultaneously. Flint never flinched at the loud scream. "Well, plus Applebloom." Sweetie Belle said. "Cute name, so what do cutie mark crusaders do exactly?" Flint asked. "We help fillies like us get there cutie marks. Speaking of which, we're gonna go get our skydiving cutie mark! See you later mister Flint." Scootaloo explained. The two fillies ran off before Flint could stop them. Flint turned around to come face to face with himself. He raised his hoof and the second Flint did the same thing. Flints hoof. Caught fire and the second Flints hoof caught fire as we'll except in a green flame. Then the imposter exploded in the green flame. And when it dispersed it revealed an ear to ear grinning Trick. "Hi there!" Trick said smiling. "That's new, when did you learn it? Oh, yeah and what happened to the mare that disappeared with you?" Flint asked. "One, I've had these powers for a while but only my right foreleg can hold a transformation for long and two, she's in bed." Trick said, then holds up his right Right foreleg and the flame covers his whole body. When it goes away Trick is wearing a white tux with a red bow tie. "I can use my foreleg for clothes and stuff. I can only hold a full transformation for an hour. So what do you want to do now? I've got plenty of bits." Trick asked. "I'm up for whatever." Flint said shrugging and said that partially because he still has no idea where he is going. Trick got a big smile when he thought of an idea. "Come come Flint, follow me!" Trick said, then started to walk away with Flint right behind him. When they reached their destination, the store sign said: Vinyl's record shop and club.". "Is this a nightclub?" Flint asked. "It's open all night." Trick said, chilled at his joke as he stepped inside. "Yo! Trick my man! How it hangin!" A unicorn mare said, walking up to Trick as he stepped inside. She had and electric blue mane and tail with a coat as white as Trick's. "I'm just here to finish my song, this is Flint. He's an old friend of mine. I'll be in the back if you need me!" Trick said, then went inside a door leaving two in the shop. "Flint Hooves." Flint said holding out his hoof. The unicorn bumped his hoof. "Vinyl scratch!" Th mare said. Vinyl walked away and put in a record in a giant dj machine and it started to play real loud. "THIS IS JUST MY DISHWASHER!!!!" Vinyl shouted. "Good to know!!!" Flint yelled back. He then noticed a charcoal black mare stopping the dishwashers loud music. "Vinyl, please don't wash the dishes with wubs.". Vinyl took off her glasses. "Oh, But Octavia it's like the best way to wash them." Vinyl said. Right then Trick burs red through the door. "It. Is. Finished!" Trick said, then popped it into the dishwasher and it started to play some intense music. "Nice! That has got to be your song when you do a brawl." Flint said and the two mares were confused. "He's from a different dimension, they hold fighting tournaments, and when I went there everybody had a theme song but me." Trick said explaining. "Ohhhh. That makes sense." Vinyl said and Octavia facehoofed. "And tell me Vinyl, how that makes sense." Octavia said. "Because it came out of Tricks mouth. He's crazier than pinkie so ponies just deal with." Vinyl said shrugging. "Yeah I think that this might be more helpful." Flint said and then lit his hoof on fire. Octavia screamed and ran into one of the doors while Vinyl just stood there. "Whooooaaaa. That's awsome." Vinyl said, Then another Vinyl started to do the same thing. After a few seconds Vinyl 1 looked over at Vinyl 2. "Ah! Clone! Kill it with fire Flint!" Vinyl 1 said, the other Vinyl erupts in flame and is replaced by a laughing Trick. "Oh that never gets old!" Trick said. Flint shakes his head while smiling. Then he walked into the room Octavia ran into. "Yo, you okay?" Flint asked the frightened mare. "How did you do that!" Octavia said, but was holding a pan in her mouth so they just heard "mrph meph erpherm merph." "I'm sorry, I'm not quite sure what you are saying. I didn't mean to frighten you honest." Flint said. She spit out the pan. "I said how did you do that?". "I well... uh... learned it?" Flint said nervously and Octavia facehoofed. "Whatever, I'm done." Octavia said And goes back into the first room. "Well that was fun but we gotta go!" Trick said, grabbing Flint and they teleport to the Everfree forest, "I've got to stock up on some potions. You can come in you want." "Damn, I didn't catch her name. I'll see her tomorrow I guess." Flint said and noticed that Trick entered a hut. He then followed him in. "Ah, Trick, your here! I'm almost done with your potion so dear." An exotic accent said. Flint saw a Zebra with a robe and big rings on her ears, and she was stirring something inside a big cauldron. "Would you like any help Zecora?" Trick asked. "Trick it's getting dark out. I think that I need to go back at Sweet Apple Acres." Flint said and the Zacora got in his face. "Ahhhhh, Trick has a new friend? Tell me, what is your name?" Zacora asked. "Flint Hooves. I'm... I'm a... Brawler." Flint said nervously. "Ah! Trick has told me about you. Trick said he fought you." Zacora said. "Yes it's true Zecora! Me and him were the best of the best!" Trick said then held up a few bottles. "I'll take some of these." Trick said then paid Zecora and the two split off. As Flint was head toward sweet apple acres he felt somepony was following him. "Who there? Show yourself!" Flint said with four hooves ablaze. "Flint Hooves, we have come to question thee." A booming sound spoke. A hooded pony came out from the shadows. "We have heard from our dear Trick that thou are a Brawler yes? What is a Brawler and are they dangerous to my little ponies?" The hooded pony spoke. "That depends on who I fight. Just who the hell are you?" Flint shouted at the hooded pony. "That's none of your concern for now. I'll be watch you from afar Flint Hooves." The hooded pony spoke, Then the figure disappeared. Flint had closed the curtains to the room he was staying in and started pacing. "Who was that asshole. Next time I see him... I'll...I'll..." Flint was interrupted when Applejack opened the door. "Uh, are you talkin to yerself their sugercube?" Apple jack asked, placing her hoof on his shoulder, "ya need to talk about it?" "I accidentally spooked a mare by doing this." Flint said and lit his hoof on fire. He didn't want to mention the hooded pony. "I planned on finding her and sorting it out." Flint said. "I bet she's fine. You can always apologize and sort it out." She said, then placed her hoof to Flint's chest. "You've got a good heart Flint.". She then walked out of the room. "Yeah, but I still have that demon." Flint said and went to bed. Author's Note Brawler terms: Cheating- Something that brings no honor in a brawl, and can endanger those close to you. Those that use cheap shots are cheating and aren't true brawlers.
season one: episode 4 As soon as he woke up the next day, Flint dashes out to find the pony. He finally found her two hours later being harassed by three stallions. The mare was definitely upset at the stallions. Flint dashed by the three stallions grabbing the mare in the process. "Hi, you remember me. You owe me your name and I owe you an explanation, but not at this moment. I think that I just pissed off those stallions." Flint said quickly. "Hey we saw her first." One of the stallions said. He definitely looked like the leader. "Sorry, she didn't look interested. I let you have her if you can get by me." Flint said smirking. The leader swung a left hook, but was blocked and countered by an upper cut. The stallion fell on his back, then stumbled to get up. "Water wake, Two bits, get him." The leader said. The two stallions ran away as soon as Flint lit all four hooves on fire. "I'm not afraid of you." The leader said and charged. Flint made a fire ball in his two front hooves. "Kiohiden!" Flint yelled and shoot the fire ball, hitting the stallion a mile and a half away. "So I owe you that explain, right?" He turned to the mare who watched the whole thing. "One, my name is Octavia." Octavia shook Flint. "And yes you bucking do!" The two of them went to the park so Flint can explain. "The fire comes from a demon sealed within me. That's why I can do... Well this." Flint said and lit his hoof on fire. "Whoa whoa whoa. You have a demon inside of you? Like Trick does?" Octavia asked. Flint didn't know this and knowing Trick, the pony who everypony called phsyco, had a demon didn't settle in Flints brain so well. "I didn't know that. Was he born with the demon?" Flint asked. "I don't know, he never talks about it. Says all the memories of his fillyhood are lock away in some kind of crazy made up mind Vault. And that's also the demons name apparently, Vault. He's just some phsyco pony, but Vinyl seems to like him, so I put up with it." Octavia sighed. "I was born with mine. I didn't even know until I was five years old. The demon is apart of me and because of it, I was alone. I had no friends, not until I fought in the tournament." Flint said. "Well, Trick doesn't have that many close friends. He mostly calls his friends, acquaintances. Says the only pony he needs is Luna. The only other thing I can say about Trick is that the demon is held inside by a necklace that Nightshade he'd forcefully put on him. Like I said, he's just not right, he's worse than Pinkie pie. I'll catch you later sometime." Octavia said and smiled at Flint before walking back towards town. "Flint Hooves, I haven't said my name yet. So there you go." Flint said smiling. "See you around, and stay weary of Trick."Octavia said. Flint had gotten warnings about Trick for so long but he wasn't about to accept this. He was going to talk to Nightshade, and if that didn't work, he would try Tricks wife. Flint wanted answers, and he wanted them now. Nightshade was helping Luna with cooking lessons, mainly because Trick didn't have the time to do so. Winter as well helped. Flint knocked on the open door as soon as he arrived at the castle near ponyville. It was a small castle meant to be an ordinary home. Sadly the builders went overboard and made it a castle. It was made so Luna can be close to Winter and Trick can stay with his buddy Nightshade. "We will get it." A lovely voice spoke. The door opened revealing a dark blue alicorn with a starry mane that flowed in non existing wind. "Flint? What art thou doing here?" Luna asked confused. "I came to ask you and Nightshade some questions about Trick. Do you mind?" Flint asked. "Umm, sure we do not mind." Luna said and led Flint into the living room A strong smell of burnt hay bacon filled the air. "What would thou like to know?" Luna asked. Nightshade and Winter ran out of the kitchen. "Oh! Hi Flint." Winter said cheerfully. "Don't go in there. I'm still trying to find out what Luna did wrong." Nightshade said coughing a couple times. "Yes, our cooking skills are not as well as Tricks, but sometimes he seems so distant when he's cooking, and his busy schedule as well. Umm a Flint wanted to know little more about Trick." Luna said smiling. "Really?" Nightshade asked and sat down on the couch. "Yeah and I'm sure that she isn't that bad of a cook." Flint said. "You see the black smoke?" Nightshade asked. "Yeah I can smell burned... food." Flint said. "The hay fries actually didn't turn out that bad. You'd think that it's the cause of it, but that smoke it from burned water. Not steam, but smoke. I didn't even think that is was possible." Nightshade said. "Don't be mean. She'll get the hang of it." Winter said defending her friend. "Yes, we are not that bad." Luna said sighing, "The only cooking we've ever done was with Celestia making cake. But even then it was very hard. So, what about our dear husband would you like to know? And why the interest in such a subject?" "What can you tell me about Vault?" Flint asked and Nightshade almost fell out of his chair. Luna's eyes went wide when Flint asked the question, never again did she want to hear that name. "Why would thou bring up such a vile subject! We never want to here that name again!" Luna shouted in the royal canterlote voice, then teleported out from the room. "What about you Nightshade?" Flint asked. "Sorry, but I'm not going to talk about that either." Nightshade said leaving Winter and Flint alone. "Winter, please tell me?" Flint asked. "Actaully I never met Vault. If you try a different approach, maybe Luna will talk. She is in her room. She goes there when she is upset." Winter said and showed Flint the way. Winter the left Flint at Luna's bedroom door and Flint knocked. Luckily he heard her answer. Flint could tell she was crying. "What does thou want? We aren't going to talk about... Him!" Luna said, unable to stop crying. "Then can I come in and explain?" Flint asked. "... ... sure". Luna opened the door to let Flint inside. Flint walked in and he sat next to her on the bed. "I asked before, because I heard about it from someone and I was told to stay weary of him. I had to ask. I was born with a demon in me." Flint said and lit his hoof on fire. "Yes, Trick told us about that. However you are able to control your abbilitys. Vault is more powerful that nanny pony or any other being in history. And Trick never even told us how Vault got there.". Luna blows her muzzle into a tissue. "We are sorry about how we treated you Flint Hooves, and even though it is such a vile subject to give me. I wish I could tell you more." Luna said and wiped her muzzle. "I didn't always control it though. I'd lose control and hurt somebody." Flint said with a sigh. "Well, Trick says since Vault is inside Tricks mind, all the memories of what Vault has done to ponies are now a Tricks memories as well.". Luna again blew into her tissue. "But Vault is trapped inside of Trick. The only harm Vault can do to Trick is to take over his body. But that'll never happen because the necklace he wears keeps Vault inside even better than Trick could without the necklace, and only Nightshade can take it off. Again, I'm sorry for how We treated thee. We just want the best for Trick.". "Well he's lucky then. I grew up being shunned." flint said chuckling. He knew that his past was no laughing matter, but he wanted to make Trick seem better. "Like she cares about your petty sob story." A males voice said and a black pegasus stallion wanted out of the shadows. He had a black mane and tail with white tips. "Who art thou! How did thee get into thy bedchamber!". "The Names Shadow Fleet. I'm as well a Brawler." The black pegasus said smiling. "Joshua? Damn you! Luna this guy is trouble." Flint said gritting his teeth. "Who ever he is, he is no match for the Princess of the Night!" Luna shot a bolt of lightning but Shadow caught it in his hooves. "Cute and feisty, I like you already." Shadow said and Flint jumped at him bursting his entire body with flames. "Don't you dare touch her!" Flint yelled in an almost demonic voice. Flint pinned Shadow to the wall, but Shadow's smile didn't leave his face. It was off to Flint, but it was obvious that Luna has now seen his Sizmere form. "FLINT! I THOUGHT YOU TOLD ME THAT BRAWLERS MEEN US NO HARM!" The deep voice rang out. Luna was surprised and spoke, "Sister, why do you use the royal Canterlote voice?" Flint shook off the identity of Deep Voice and focused on Joshua. He smirked menacingly, which frightened Luna. "Of Flint, did you actually think that your the only brawler here? There is something else bigger going on, something you can't fathom." Shadow said continuing to smirk menacingly and then he dissolved into the shadows and disappeared. To that, he was gone. Author's Note Yes, finally Joshua is in. Joshua is my favorite character cause throughout the story, he's full of mystery and is perfect for a villain like character. Still he is... Damn I can spoil this character for you! More to come next time in Pony Brawler, more brawlers will appear, so stay tuned.
season one: episode 5 "Flint... we don't think... what we are trying to say...," Luna said but Flint left afraid of what she might now think of him, "we don't think you as a monster..." Flint bumped into Trick, knowing new information, he resident to speak. "I saw Joshua, he was in Luna's bedroom but he got away." Flint said calmly. "Well at least I know you protected my wife, I know about other brawlers. We are to meet at Sugercube Corner now." Trick said, he was trying really hard to not freak out as he moved slightly faster to Luna's room. Flint saw Octavia sitting, all bummed out under a tree in the picnic orchard. "Hey way the low look?"Flint asked and Octavia squealed in surprise. She didn't expect to see Flint. "Tell me more!" Octavia asked trying to dodge the question, "what happened when you had Sizmere." Flint sighed and sat down next to her. "Well, at times I had hurt people and not on purpose to. I was shunned my whole life until I became a brawler. That's about it." Flint said, he didn't want to go into to much detail about his past, including that he bursts into flames when he is mad.his angry fuels the flame. "Oh, sorry to hear..." Octavia paused before asking, "if I moved away... would you forget me?" Flint was surprised she'd ask that. When he first met her, he scared her silly. "No, I couldn't forget you..." Flint replied nervously but truthfully. "Good, I'll be in Canterlot for a couple weeks to a month. I have a concert there. Will you wait for me?" Octavia asked nervously. "Sure, you can count on it." Once Flint made it to Sugarcube, he looked and didn't see a brawler he'd recognized. All he saw were four stallions at a table. "Excuse me, I'm trying to find some brawlers." Flint asked then stallions. "You must be Flint Metiores... I mean Flint Hooves." One stallion replied. Leave it to Trick to find brawlers Flint never met. Trick then bounced in the conversation. "Well hi there Flint! Look who I found, FANS AND FRIENDS!" Trick said jumping up and down like Pinkie Pie. "Yeah?" Flint said. "yes yes yes! Come along everyone! We can't fight evil with empty tummies now can we?" Trick said and skips away with three weirded ponies, a one face hoofing one. "He was a lot more sane in my dimension." Flint said and followed Trick. Flint was bummed out, because the first pony he got to know is leaving. Octavia and Luna are close friends too him, well besides the fact that Trick was as well a pony. Flint technically met Trick in his dimension, so Trick is technically his first pony friend. As the ponies ate they talked about strategies and new move they had been working on. But Trick always found some way each strategy could go horribly wrong. "All I'm saying is that if we go in the Back way we would die. They would be expecting that. And if we sneak in the front they would also expect that." Trick said firmly. The four other ponies gave up trying to reason with Trick special talent. "But since I know most about this world. They would not expect an assault from above." Trick said smirking. "Did you forget brawler 101? Expect your enemy to be everywhere." Flint said plopping another hay fry in his mouth. "Yes, indeed. But like Flint said, he will be expecting that too. But this will not be any ordinary air strike. This will be a strike from 5000 feet!" Trick said smirking, The other four ponies mouths dropped. "We're going to need Benny for an air assault like that. It will be very difficult to do this plan without him." Flint said, "on another matter, is Luna doing okay? She saw me burst into flames, because I couldn't keep my anger in check." "You. What?" Trick asked, Flint could tell Trick was holding in anger. "It's. Ok. I'll talk to her later, for now I need to visit Zecora for some clouds in a bottle and cloud walking potions. You find Benny and meet me at Golden oaks library. I'll have Nightshade with us as well." Trick said and pulled out the staff, teleporting to the Everfree. "Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that." Flint said andnwalked out leaving the four confused ponies to themselves. Rarity was going home when two hooves pulled her into the shadows. "Shush for a moment." Rarity heard a stallion said and then three stallions ran up. "Where did she go? Damn I wanted that white flank'" one pony said and then they ran off. The stallion let go of Rarity when he confirmed that the three ponies were gone. "Sorry about that. I couldn't let a mare be raped." The stallion said. "Thank you kind sir! Here let me take you to my boutique, I'll get you out of those... Dirty clothes." Rarity said, grabbing the stallion and pulls him inside the shop. "If you insist." The stallion walked with Rarity to her boutique and walked inside. The first outfit was a Daring doo costume. "No." The second was a Sherlock pones outfit minus the pipe."not your color." Then rarity found a bat pony outfit. "Yes! Perfect, it goes with you coat and... Charming personality." Rarity said, smiling cheerfully at dressing him up. "How about you get me a black jacket and a white shirt. That fits my shadow brawler type." The stallion said. "Ok darling, I'll be back is just a moment." Rarity said, then went upstairs and a little unicorn filly came down. "Hi mister! What's your name!?" She had a big smile on her face that could melt the coldest of hearts. But it could not light up a soul encased in such a dark shadow. "The names Shadow Fleet and I'm a brawler." Shadow said smiling. "Oh my Celestia! Your a brawler too!? That's so cool! What can you do?" The filly start to bounce around shadow. "Show me! show me! show me! show me! show me!" Rarity then yelled at the filly from upstairs. "Sweetie bell, stop pestering our guest!" "Sweetie Bell, huh? You said your a brawler too. Does that mean that you know another brawler?" Shadow asked. "Uh huh! His name is Flint. He's living at Sweet apple acres with the apple family. If you want I can show you!" Sweetie bell shot Shadow a huge smile and sparkling eyes. But again it was not strong enough to lighten up the shadow brawlers heart. "So you know Flint. Did you know his secret?" Shadow asked smiling. "Um, he can light his hooves on fire?" Shadow chuckled at the fillys cliche cuteness. "What's funny mister?". "Where do you think that fire comes from?" Shadow asked. "Magic. Where else could it come from silly billy?" Sweetie asked. "How about a demon?" Shadow asked smiling and leaning in. Sweetie bell took a step back. "A d-d-d-demon?" "Yeah, Sizmere. The demon was sealed away inside Flint before he was born. The demon is apart of him and when he can't keep his anger in check, his entire body burst into flames. His voice also sounds very demonic." Shadow explained. Shadow waited for a reaction out of the scared filly but Sweetie belle was to afraid to talk. After a minute or two she spoke up but was nearly silent. "do you have a demon?". "No, I'm only apart of the darkness. I'm demon free." Shadow said. He was slightly pleased at scaring the filly. Right then Rarity came down from upstairs. "Why sweetie belle, you seem like you've seen a ghosts, is anything wrong." Rarity said. "Noeverything'sfineimgoingoitforawhilebye!" Sweetie said and ran out the door like a small white blur. "Well... That was strange. Um, here are your clothes darling. I used a black diamond on the white shirt to match your coat, do you like it?" Rarity said, Shadow looked at the white shirt and saw the blacked diamond. "Fancy. Thank you." Shadow said smiling. Rarity smiled. "It was nothing darling, and don't even think about paying me. You already did that by saving me from those scoundrels." Rarity said and gave shadow a hug, "Now, I'm sorry to part with you so quickly but I'm a little behind on some dresses for the gala in a few weeks. Good bye now." Rarity raced back upstairs and went into work mode. "The gala? Wait I didn't get your name miss." Shadow said. "Oh I'm sorry darling. Ahem! My name is Rarity, fashionista extrortanair!" Rarity said and She stoke a pose that made Shadow chuckle. "Again I'm sorry to part ways so quickly, I must finish these dresses quickly." Rarity sighed. "My name is Shadow Fleet. I'm want they call a brawler. I can help if you want." Shadow said smiling. "Nononoooo! You've been too kind darling. Do you have a place to stay?" Rarity asked. "No, I just arrived here." Shadow replied. "I have a bed in the studio, your welcome to stay here if you'd like." Rarity said and gave him a hug, "And again, thank you from saving me from those ruffians." Then there was a knock at the door. "Let me get that." Rarity opened the door to a grinning Trick. Shadow vanished into a shaded spot so Trick won't see him, luckily Trick didn't notice him. "Hello my dear! How has your day been going?" Trick asked. "Hello Trick." Rarity said, she didn't look happy to see Trick. Usually nopony was happy to see Trick. "My day was going very well unti-" Rarity said, Trick walk past Rarity inside to boutique, "Come on in then!" "Thank you." Trick said smiling, Rarity then scowled at Trick. "This pony is a nutjob!" Rarity said under her breathe. "I need some sky blue fabric and pearl white fabric as well." Trick said. Shadow watch the two as he was entirely invisible in the shade. Rarity then sold the fabric to Trick. "Thank you my dear! You are saving Equestria!" Rarity said unamused, "And tell me how selling you fabric, that your probably going to rip or tear, going to save Equestria?" Trick just smiled. "Exactly!" Trick said and blasted out the door before Rarity could question further. "Well he's an interesting fellow." Shadow said walking out of the shade, becoming visible once more. Shadow didn't want to mention that he knew who Trick was. "Yes, interesting, that's what he is." Rarity said, she didn't want to be rude in front of shadow and say bad things about ponies. "So Shadow, I need to finish these dresses. I'll be down in a while, until then... " Rarity hoofs him a list and bits, "Can you be a dear and go get these for me?" "Sure, I'd love to help." Shadow said and walked out. Author's Note Brawler facts #1: there are multiple times of brawlers, 99percent of them had come from a bad past. 75percent has demons inside or on them, 20percent has a spirit of some kind in or on them, and the remaining five percent is human. Brawler database: a Shadow brawler can use the darkness as a weapon or a shield. It's one of the most trickiest to control without a demon or spirit of some kind. They can also travel through the dark gate by entering a shady or dark area and appear in another shady or dark area anywhere in the world. Though doing that is actually extremely dangerous.
season one: episode 6 Flint had gotten rumor of a pony in canterlot, but Pinkie's balloon he rides was being used by Trick. Which meant that he had a take the train, but didn't know where to go. He then saw Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and Scootaloo coming out from Sugarcube Corner. He then decided to ask if they knew where the train was. "Hey, girls. I have a question to ask you." Flint said smiling friendly at them. "AHHHHHHHH!!!!! DEMON PONY!!!!!!" They all shouted in unison, then ran away in a yellow, orange, and white blur. "That was weird. I suppose that it might be some kind of weird game." Flint said and then saw Vinyl. "Sup Vinyl, can I ask you a question?" Flint asked. "Sure bra!" Vinyl said, then whispered in his ear, "But you didn't hear it from me." Vinyl then spoke in a regular tone, "So whatcha wanna know?" "Um... I was only going to ask where the train is." Flint said raising a eye brow. "Oh! Never mind what I said. Go to town square, find Sugarcube corner, then stand in front and look to the left. You should see it, if you don't... If you don't then you need glasses bra." Vinyl replied. "Thanks, Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and, Scootaloo were acting weird. Do you know anything about that?" Flint asked. "I have no idea, they were whispering and gasping the whole time. So I heard from Trick that some bad dude is in town. If there is, I think he'll give in to Trick. Ficken pony's insane when he's fighting, especially if he uses that staff of his." Vinyl replied. "A bad pony, huh? Might be Joshua. Keep me posted, okay?" Flint asked. "Ok see ya later bra." Vinyl said. Flint headed for the train station. But when he got there he remembered something... He had no money. Flint then went to Sweet Apple Acres and saw Applebloom panicking in front of Applejack. "Applebloom are you okay? Your starting to make me worry about you." Flint said. He originally wanted to ask for money for the train ride, but Applebloom looked like she saw a ghost. Applebloom turned around and her eyes went wide. "D-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d..." Applebloom stuttered in fright. "well? Spit it out sis." Applejack said firmly. "DEMONPONY!!!!!!" Applebloom shouted and She ran off in a dusty blur kicking up dirt everywhere. "Uh, Flint, mind explainin why ma sis called ya a demonpony?" Applejack asked confused. "I'm starting to think that she found out about my past." Flint said and sighed. "Ah'd like to know yer past, and don't lie. I'm the element of Honesty, ah know a lie when ah see one." Applebloom said firmly, Flint sat down with his back to a tree. He figured he had to tell them sooner or later, he hoped that it would be later. "Before I was born, a demon was sealed inside me. The demon was apart of me and I was shunned. I lost all my friends and was called demonboy. When I became a brawler, I met Benny. He was the first to except me even if I'm part demon. I was alone before I met him." Flint said and Applejack realized that he was telling the truth. Applejack hugged Flint afterwards. "I'm sorry Flint. It must of been hard on you." Applejack said, After a few minutes she released the embrace, "Now what was the other thing you came for?" "I heard Benny might be in canterlot, so I was going to ask for money for the train." Flint replied. "Oh! Is that all?" Apple jack asked and handed him a bag of bits, "Half of that should get you to Canterlot, and there's some extra if somthin catches your eye." Applejack winks and goes back to bucking apple trees while Flint head for the station. Before he left, he looked back to say one more thing. "Can you explain to Applebloom about my past?" Flint asked. "Yes, Ah need to set that filly straight. She and her friends take things too seriously an jump to conclusions." Applejack said and bucked a tree, all the apples fell into the buckets below, "Now you'd best be goin, you don't want to miss that train of yers." Flint made it to the train and then to Canterlot. He then looked for Octavia. He had planned on staying at her place, mainly because he didn't want to see Luna after she saw him burst into flames. He walked up to a mare. "Excuse me miss, I'm looking for Octavia. Do you know where she lives?" Flint asked. The mare scoffed at Flint. "Tourists." The mare said and walked away with her nosed in the air. "Flint? Is that you?" Flint turned and saw Octavia, "Never talk to anypony in Canterlot. There all snobs. I'm a teensy bit snobbish sometimes but these ponies are 24/7 snobs." "Hey, I was going to ask if I can stay at your place. I'm looking for someone here, but I don't have a place to stay." Flint said smiling cheerfully, he was happy to see Octavia again. "Uhh sure, follow me." Octavia said, she let him to her house and the two stepped inside, "So, who else were your looking for?" "One pony at this moment. He is a brawler like me and my first friend." Flint said. "Oh! Well at the orchestra I heard some snobs talking about a crazy pegusus in the gardens. Tomorrow we should investigate. But for now we should get some sleep." Octavia said yawning. "Thanks for letting me us your spare bedroom." Flint said and Octavia looked at Flint awkwardly. "You don't have a spare bedroom, do you?" Flint asked, blushing awkwardly. "Yes, I do... Unless yoooooou..." Octavia said hiding her blush. "No, I'll stick with the spare bedroom." Flint said still blushing. Octavia let of a sigh of relief. "Phe- I mean goodnight." Octavia said. Flint said goodnight and almost instantly fell asleep. He started to dream, the dream was when Flint first met Trick. When Flint woke up he was on the floor. How he got there, he had no idea. It was still night out and Octavia brushed in the room with a worried face. Apparently she heard Flint fall out of bed. "Flint are you ok?" Octavia's mane was in a serious bed head. "Fine, but you kinda look cute with a bedhead." Flint said staring. "After sleeping at Vinyl house a couple of times you learn to fortify your side of the bed. So were you have a nightmare?" Octavia said leaning in. "Don't remember. Sorry for worrying you." Flint said and Octavia hugged him. "It's fine, just don't fall again.". Flint went back to bed and started to dream. He was in the crowd of one of the tournaments back in his dimension. Unfortunately he was a pony in a human crowd. Down on the floor was the human version of him. The announcer blared his mic. "Ladies and gentlemen!!!! In the ring we have... FLINT METIOLES!!!!" The crowd roared as Flint threw his hands in the air and his battle music played. "and his challenger. A newcomer in the Brawler tourneys, a man shrouded in mystery, he wouldn't tell us anything about him and the Government ain't got shit on him. He's... THE TRICKSTER!!!!" A cloud of smoke exploded from the other side of the ring. Flint shot a minor morning star at the smoke. It went in but came strait out hit in floor in front of him. A voice spoke through the smoke. "You have potential in that attack. But you are to rash and rely too much on brute force." The smoke dispersed. In front of Flint was a man with a white tux and a red bow tie, he also had a white top hat and a staff. "Now, prepare yourself for battle!" Flint watched Trick and his human self fight. He saw Trick counter and block all the moves he threw at Trick. "Like I said... you aren't thinking about what I'll do... your only thinking about your next attack. Not any of mine." Trick said. Flints whole body bursts into flames and jumps at Trick. Trick frowns and steps out of the way. After Flint regains his balance he jumps again. This time Trick telports on top of Flint and hits him with the staff. "And you think you can outwit an Expert strategist? Ha! I may be new but I know how to fight!" Trick said. A human jumped in the ring and tackles Flint. It was Benny, Flint was dreaming of his past. "Flint get a hold of yourself." Benny said and a burst of flames burnt him, "damn it." Benny punched Flint in the face and the flames despersed, knocking out Flint. A bright light woke up Flint and he confirmed that he was still a pony. He then looked to the side and saw Octavia. "Come on wake up Flint. There's somepony here to see you"Octavia said. She didn't look happy at all, so it was easy to guess who it was. "It's Trick, isn't it?" Flint asked. Octavia nods and they both walk into the living room. "Ah! Hello Flint, I hope I wasn't late." Trick said smiling and pulled a carrot out of his hat, he then started to eat. "Actaully your early. I haven't started to look yet." Flint replied. Trick snickered and pointed at Octavia. "Yes I noticed." Trick said smirking. Octavia and Flint both blush. "S-s-shut up Trick!" Octavia said hiding her blush. "Octavia and I are just friends. I asked if I could use her spare bedroom." Flint said. "Teeheehee! Oh I know!" Trick said and literally hops off the couch, "Now, the royal guards just arrested a crazy Pegasus flying into Celestia's bed chamber." He opens the door and Flint heard him yell outside. "Come along Flint! ADVENTURE!!!!" Trick shouted. "Sorry Octavia. I didn't plan on Trick showing up." Flint said sighing. "It's ok. You find your friend, it sounds like he's in trouble. " Octavia said smiling, yet bummed to see Flint go. "I got that, but the pony can be different. I only came because of the rumor. There is no positive that it is Benny, only a maybe." Flint said hoping that it was in fact Benny and not some opponent that they had to fight. "I assure you it is indeed our friend Benny. Not even a phsyco Pegasus would fly into castle bedchamber." Trick said, turning around and looked Flint in the eyes, "And trust me, you don't want Celestia to get mad at you. She's worse than me or you." Trick turned and continued to walk. "You'll have to go without me. The rumor you heard is different than mine. Plus I'm the last person, er, pony that Celestia wants to see. Don't ask." Flint said. "I don't have too." Trick smirks at his latest mental smoke bomb. Trick head for the castle and advises Flint to watch out for anymore Brawlers. When Trick came to the castle doors the guards immediately blocked his way. "Now now! Is that a way to treat a famous adventurer?" Trick asked and batted his eyes, but The guards never said a word, "Ugh! Do I have to do this every time I go through the front. I new I should've went at the back entrance. those guards know Equestrian.". Trick pulled a plush moon out from his hat and the Guards let him through. When he came to the under ground dungeon he found the Pegasus writing an escape plan. He was completely unaware of Tricks presence. "Whatcha writing there pal!?" Trick asked smirking. "The names Tana and I'm not telling you. I'm busy you asshole." The pony shot out. Trick realized that she wasn't Benny, but was still one of the Brawlers that they needed to find. "Well I can already tell your not from this dimension." Trick said and Tana was about to ask when trick spoke first, "The term is Flankhole. And yes I have had that said to me before." Trick shrugged and started to laugh. "Who are you?" Tana asked fiercely. Trick answered her in a deep bat pony voice, "I'm somepony, you should be afraid of. I may not look like much." Trick points at his whole body. He wasn't skinny, fat, or muscular, he was a mix of all three. "But I can traumatize you faster than you can say help." Trick said smirking. "Fuck me, Trickster? Is that you?" Tana said surprised. Trick flashed green and was wearing the white tux and white he always fought in. He did a slight bow with his hat, "The one and only deary!" "I didn't think that I'll ever say this, but I'm so glad to see you." Tana said smiling. Trick snickered, he always adored that ponies didn't like to see him. He was always a... Tricky bastard. "Yes, I know, I'm a handsome stallion. I see your in quite a pickle there." Trick said and tapped the cell bars, "I'm guess you were trying to fly with your newly a acquired wings hmm?" "Yeah, but I'm no Pegasus." Tana said and stepped more into the light revealing a horn on her head. Tana was an alicorn and that surprised Trick. "Plus don't flatter yourself, you not that handsome and you still not my type." Tana said chuckling. "Pssh! Of course I am! But unfortunately for you, I'm married to the most beautiful princess in the land." Trick put his hat to his chest like some romantic stallion and looked of into the distance like some day dreamer, and just as quick as he had done this he snapped back into the conversation. "So! I suppose you also can't use. Your magic yet... Hence you trying to write that escape plan with your hooves..." Trick said smirking again. "Magic? I'm a brawler, I don't believe in magic. It's only cheap illusions. I'm still trying to find a way to use my Stardust again." Tana said pouting. Trick started to laugh at an uncomfterbly loud tone. "Always with the jokes Tana. Of course magic is real! Why look here!" Trick said, then he reached inside his hat and pulled out his staff, "Remember this? You don't remember the fireballs or eletictric strikes. Do you no remember me teleporting? How else could I be everywhere! How else could you be an alicorn!? Explain that with science!". "I'm still trying to figure it out. Plus, you being married to a princess? I got to see this." Tana said. Author's Note I know that this story has more dislikes then likes, but frankly, I don't care. It's fun writing this. Sizmere is known to burn anything that gets in his way. He alone wanted to have weaker beings bow to him. When his demonic rival fought with him, the would went into a period of darkness and flames. After five and a half months, the fight eased up. The two demons rested and since the people didn't want the demons to lash out at each other again, they sealed them into a living, breathing child. Two in fact, and the sealing process had lasted many years, and now Flint has Sizmere inside him, and the rivals host is yet unknown.
