Getting Situated
This was a normal day at the TARDIS, a strange new world has been discovered, a new acquaintance made, and a strange enemy defeated. "Yep! Just another day at the office!" said a jubilant, light-brown earth pony stallion with a brown mane, who branded an hourglass cutie mark, as he pointed towards an awkwardly placed set of cubicles deep within the TARDIS. This pony is known as "The Doctor". Nopony knows exactly where The Doctor came from, only that he lives in a seemingly small "blue box", which he calls "the TARDIS" short for "Time And Relative Dimension In Space", a time-machine, if you will, that every pony who has been inside had said was "Bigger on the inside, than it is on the out". The stallion was speaking to a grey-coated, blond-maned Pegasus mare, who branded a cutie mark of bubbles, also with beautiful, amber colored eyes that faced opposite directions of each-other, this one is "Ditzy Doo" otherwise known as "Derpy Hooves" because of her adorable, yet clumsy nature.
"Why do you have cubicles in here? It's not like you have anything to do in them, right?" asked the Pegasus with a humorous tone.
"Nah! It's just for aesthetics. Looks funny though, dun'nit?" "ANNYWAY! Let Us Continue, Shall We?" he exclaimed as he leaped across the hall, leading her to the next room.
"This Is The main Kitchen!" the Doctor said "I lit'rally do have everything in here" he stated almost under his breath, as him and Derpy looked upon a vast room with all the usual appliances for a factory, or maybe, industrial-sized kitchen, let alone a normal home-sized one. The pair was walking down another corridor as the Doctor lead the way to another room which yielded a queen-sized bed, the usual assortment of dressers and drawers, as well as an immensely large walk-in closet that might actually fit a whole other TARDIS, and then some. "this is our guest room, usually the room my companions would choose to live in when they travel around with me" "Only heavens knows why" he spoke under his breath again. Derpy, on the other hoof, was mesmerized by the immensity of the rooms she went into, the Doctor's words either going straight over her head or into one ear and out the other, her mouth gaping wide open as she felt the bedspread.
"It's so soft, I can't even feel it" she thought out loud, she quickly put her hoof over her mouth as she had just realized it, her cheeks beginning to flush a deep reddish tint.
