A Dream Come True (Or is it Nightmare?)
PROLOGUE: Bolt Fire and Cloud Comet
Kyle went up to Elizabeth’s house and rang the doorbell.
Mrs. Kurt opened the door. “Hello, Kyle!”
“G’morning, Mrs. Kurt! Can Liza play?” Kyle always went over to Liza’s house on Saturday.
“Ah, yes. She is upstairs, come on in.”
Kyle followed Liza’s mom upstairs and to Liza’s room.
“Hi, Liza!” he called, walking in.
“Bolt Fire!” Liza said, smiling as she looked up from her toys—Liza and Kyle had both like My Little Pony, so they decided to come up with pony names for each other. The had decided on Bolt Fire for Kyle and Cloud Comet for Liza.
“Hey, can I play?” Kyle asked her.
Liza handed Kyle a pair of the ponies she had been playing with. “Sure! You can play with Bowtie and Moon Dancer!”
“Okay,” he agreed. “I heard they were gonna be showing the movie later today, wanna come to my house and watch it?”
Liza eagerly nodded. “Yeah! It’ll be so much fun!”
