The Mane 6 visit Canterlot in high hopes of getting a well-earned break from the adrenaline of fighting for their country. Their vacation is abruptly interrupted and the Mane 6 and Princess Luna are thrown into an alternate version of Equestria, split into three nations, Unia, Pegas, and Earthe. The world, filled with hate and malice, makes them all realize how precious their friendship is and how proud they should be of it.
What is stranger still is the way the world works. Clouds move to their own accord, the seasons change on their own, and the two greatest celestial bodies move on their own.
A great threat is looming back in the normal Equestria, which only Celestia can fight now her dear sister is gone. And she fears more to face him than to face her own sister.
Life is not easy under the iron rule of Queen Faust and the Mane 6 meet their equals in desperate hope to change this wretched universe, full of war and misleading morals, and destructive new technology. Luna must try negotiating with the mighty Queen Faust and change her ways, or will it turn into violence? Will peace and happiness prevail?
