"Now for our final trick," drums sounded in the background, " We will throw variety of fruits into the air and then Linda will snatch them all before they will fall into the ground." Immediately ten different kinds of fruits were throw high up in the air; then, a shadow figure rush to each of the objects with amazing speed grading all the fruits before they fall. Then with grace, flew up to the setting sun. that's when you could see the details of the creature's body; it had long pink mane and tail, which were a bit messy; the coat was a dark shaded, buttery color; it's eyes were red; and it's cutie mark had three pink bats; and the wings where those of a bat. All of the ponies stared astonish by the speed of Linda , the new animal of Thornhoof Zoo found in a nearby farm. After a moment of silence, a large number of applause was heard throughout the zoo. Later, ponies of all ages where finally going home with popcorn and cotton candy on their mouths. Linda was taken back to her cage that had a massive apple tree and a little cave with a small lake. Iron bars covered all the sides and a massive plastic rock roof was on top with lights that turn on if it gets too dark inside so that the visitors can see her. It was a beautiful scenery but there was very few space to run or fly around, and even if it was, Linda did not wanted to be here at all.
The bat pony sighed wishing she could be free from the zoo, but of course she had an electric collar that activated once out of zoo perimeters or by a press of a button. The first time she tried to escape, the electricity made her unconscious which made she fell into the sea ponies' tank. Luckily, they helped her out of the water before she drowned, but was later punished for her attempt to escape. Since she didn’t have a home like the one she has now with plenty of apples for her to feed on, they almost starved her to death. Linda shivered at the thought of Mister Star, the meanest pony she had ever meet. Even though he owns the zoo, he cares nothing for the animals living here. He always punishes them for even the slightest things, like if you move the tiniest bit when he's taking so many photos for the newspaper which always states that Thornhoof Zoo is the most successful zoo in the world, he'll starve you, or take away something precise to you since almost everypony here once had a life of their own and has something to remand them of it. The bat pony is indeed one of those creatures and haves a valuable item, that is hidden in her cave by leaves.
Every night she gets it and remembers her cheerful past. That one item that always bring back precise memories is a photo frame with two pictures; one with all her animal friends outside her cottage with her and her dear friend Discord; and the other one with all of her best of friends, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and herself when she wasn't a vampire fruit bat pony. She finally put the picture frame down and lay down in the hard stone of the cave. She began to remember how in Equestria did she ended up in this horrible place, then realized that two months have passed since the vampire fruit bat infestation in Sweet Apple Acres, which was when the nightmare began with a single spell that was going to help stop the vampire fruit bats from eating all of the apples.
