Their Beginnings-PrologueView OnlineThe LEGO BricksTheir Beginnings-PrologueOver a thousand years ago, there was Chaos. Chaos reigned throughout the newly formed Equestria. The three races were powerless to stop the one causing it, a being called Discord. Wherever he went, chaos was there. The small town of Seaddle, on the West coast that was long devastated by Discord's visit, three ponies, unaffected by the chaos, walked in. "AhhhhhahhhhAh, ahhhhhhahhhh, AhhhhhahhhhAh, ahhhhhhahhhh." They came in harmonizing. Eyes closed not seeing the effect they had: The chaotic land, with every step they took, turned back to the road it once was. The land began to form again, trees grew back from where they were, before uprooted. The flowers, scary, tangled and wild, became nice and tamed. The builds, floating and upside-down, landed right side up and in their place. And the towns folk, now rude and out of character, became their old selves once again. Before the townsponies could thank the brave ponies that saved them, they had disappeared. All throughout the Equestria, wherever Discord's chaos ruled, they were there, bringing peace and order back. Nopony ever saw them directly, but with them healing many towns, the ponies begin to put the small details together: A pink earth pony with a purple mane tied in pigtails. A light blue pony, possible a pegasus, with a blue and purple mane tied back into a ponytail. And a yellow pony, possible a unicorn, with a big orange puffy mane. What they did not know was that they were in fact all earth ponies. The group was nameless and never seen by anypony, outside of them saving the towns. Discord, feeling the disturbance that chaos was missing in area that that he already visited, went to investigate (as well as have some chaos doing it). Three ponies walked out of a town that they just saved and disappeared into the forest. "Awww, why could we stay there? I really liked it there," complained the yellow pony. "Adagio, you know we can't stay," said the pink pony to the yellow named Adagio. "We agreed that we would help Equestria from this Chaos," said the blue one. "Like what Sonata said, we promised to help Equestria," relied the pink one, "after we found out that our music cancels out this chaos, and get nothing in return." "But do we have to keep going and not stop in a town," Adagio complained again, "my hooves are sore from all this traveling." "But think about the good ponies we are saving,' started the pink one, "they have suffered enough, it is only right if we suffer a little bit; in this case: sore hooves. Besides, we have hundreds of miles and our hooves are just starting to hurt. Isn't that impressive: hundreds of miles we walk. Could you try keep going?" "Ok Aria," sighed Adagio, "Ill try." "So where to next Sonata," asked Aria. Sonata, quite most of this time, had been thinking of that question. "I think we should go this way," pointing in a South East direction, "I thought a saw another town coming down that mountain." The three started off on the direction Sonata pointed. Unbeknownst to them, a dark figure was watching them, and followed. After some time, the three did come across town, but this one was not destroyed by chaos. "Oh looks like this one is not in chaos," said Adagio, "Can we please go in? Please?" "We do need food," replied Sonata, "but lets keep it low keep it low key. We do not want anyone recognizing us." The three, much to Adagio's dismay, they dawned cloaks. They walked through town, with not much notice to them. Many ponies that came through this town wore cloaks for one reason or another. The dark figure still followed, only now walking through the town invisible. The unfortunate ponies that bumped into the unseen object found themselves in random places, such as on roofs, in the pig pen, or in someone's out house. As they three went through their business of getting food, they failed to notice the seen creating behind them: chickens and pigs flying off, plants taking ponies hostages, and ponies turning on each other over things like a pebble. The grunt of a pig flying over head made the group to turn around and see that chaos was happening. Their realized their worst fear was here. He was here. He found them. Trying with everything to maintain composure, they began to sing. AhhhhhahhhhAh, ahhhhhhAhhhh AhhhhhahhhhAh, ahhhhhhAhhhh AhhhhhahhhhAh, ahhhhhhAhhhh AhhhhhahhhhAh, ahhhhhhAhhhh Discord appeared in the middle of the road, opposite of the three ponies. The scene was like a high noon battle. either side preparing for the soon battle. As the girls started, a clear black-and-white line of good and evil/Choas and harmony made itself evident. We heard that you are in trouble We heard you are in disarray We thought of something than this rubble Something that make this go away Why let Discord take the rule When peace and order shine brighter? (Shine brighter) Here is our chance to help you We will not let Chaos take over Peace ‘n order, or Anarchy Why don't we see which is better? We don't have to be in complete turmoil Oh, why can’t we be in a little harmony? We will bring you all back to normalcy You're not rude and you should know it Yeah, peace will rise above the rest We will bring you back to before Do not let Discord get the best Ah, ahh-ahh Order! An aura of magic surrounded the three ponies as their singing intensified. the aura shot out a a beam of magic, to Discord, only to be stopped by a stream of chaos form the Chaos lord himself. Not anarchy Let's have some order, order in this town Let's have some order, Lets have Harmony Let's have some order, order, order Order in this town As their song came to a close, the intensity of their magic clashing with Discord's created a bright flash, blinding anypony. The girls woke up in a daze and on top of each other. "Did we win?" asked Adagio getting up. When they got up and found their bearings, they saw that time was stopped. Nothing was moving, not the other ponies, or the birds. the only thing that was moving was Discord, No, Two Discords. Each girl had to do a double take to make sure that they were seeing Two Discords. They were playing something using their paws (paddy cake BTW). One of them look over at the ponies and said, "Ah you're up. I was getting Bored playing by myself." He turn to the other Discord and said, "I sorry I have to go. Looks like someponies woke up on the wrong side of the bread." just them a piece of bread appeared under the three ponies. "Same time next week?" he asked to himself. His counterpart simply nodded and disappeared with a puff. Discord turned his attention back to the ponies, or somewhat, "May have that piece of bread, I haven't had breakfast yet." Stunned by the presents of Discord, and by him talking to them, they simply nodded. "Great," he said, teleporting the bread to him. With the lack of the bread that they were standing the three dropped to the ground. "Watch this," he said levitating the bread off to the side. He then plucked the Sun out of the sky, as one were to pluck a falling leaf. The area became dark from the lack of the Sun in the sky, but the Sun was in Discord's paw. the light from the miniature Sun in Discord's paw illuminated the piece bread. Then when he was done, Discord put the sun back. "Tada," he announced showing the piece of bread. Nothing much happened to the bread, the only difference was that it was slightly browner than what it was before. The three ponies stared in confusion. "I call it 'Toast,'"he said. The three ponies still stared in confusion. discord's face went from a big cheesy smile, from showing off his invention, to a frown, "honestly you guys are a bore." He then took the bread and a pair of scissors he poof-ed up, and began to cut the crust. Once done, he took the middle piece and tossed it behind him while eating the crust. There was a small explosion behind him from the middle piece hitting the ground. With a satisfying "Ahhh," he turned his attention back to the three ponies who were still in shock of his presents. "You know," he began, "you three are a real big pain in my ass." He pulls out a plush donkey with three large needles in the donkey's rearend. " Author's Note yeah, never got that far.
To Fall Asleep-Good NightView OnlineThe LEGO BricksTo Fall Asleep-Good NightAuthor's Note This is about Twilight trying to sleep in her new crystal castle, with her crystal chairs, crystal fixtures, and crystal bed. I would have submitted it awhile ago if it had been over 1000 words Then I found out somepony beat me to it (after i wrote this) To Fall Asleep-Good Night After a long days work, a frizzed indigo and pink-striped maned alicorn walked in to her new home. The dark color under her eyes tells that it was not only a long day's work, but a hard and stressful one. As it turns out, the mare had not been sleeping well either. As she made her way though her home, a certain purple and green-scaled baby dragon appeared. Spike the dragon, the mare's Number One assistant was cleaning, and did not notice how tired the mare was. "Welcome home Twilight. Did you have a good day?" Spike turned around, only to be meet with a stare from Twilight, with enough power that could have rivaled the super-charge Lord Tirek's power. Spike gulped, then turned around, averting the stare from the powerful exhausted mare, and went back to cleaning. Twilight, not to go to bed hungry, went to the kitchen. She popped a bag of Colt Scout's Trail's End popcorn into the magicwave (microwave). While that was starting to heat up, she got a banana, cut it up, put it in some yogurt and tossed in some oats. She had just taken a spoonful when the magicwave dinged. With spoon still in mouth, she set the yogurt cup down, pulled out the bag and emptied in into a bowl. Almost on cue, the refrigerator door opened and a tub of grounded Parmesan cheese came out. Setting the tub down, she levitated the spoon back over to the yogurt, took a spoonful, and levitated it back to her. Al the while, she opened the tub and sprinkled the cheese onto the popcorn. After she finished her yogurt, she went over to the popcorn and started on that. Taking a few hooffuls, she went over to the frig, and took out the milk. She poured the milk into a cup and set the cup into the magicwave, making sure the time she set did not cook the milk. Returning to her popcorn, she took hooffuls, trying to make sure she didnt get any husks in her teeth. She finished the popcorn and drank the warm milk. Feeling more 'dead' than before. Eyes, half-lided, she made her way over to the stairs, and climbed them. She shuffled her hoofs over to her room, made her way over to her bed, and laid down. Then her eyes popped open wide. Twilight laid in her bed, trying to fall a sleep. She tossed and turned, using every position to get comfortable, but to no avail. It did not help either that her nice soft bed in her treehouse/library was incinerated, and that she was now lying on a crystal 'mattress' in her new home. Oohhh, why did my home have to be blown up. All those books, and my stuff, Twilight thought. Her home, or in fact castle, was an eyesore. The crystalline, tree-like castle towered over the home-y, natural built homes of Ponyville. Many townsponies, though happy to be freed, hated the new building. There were even a few cases of ponies becoming blinded by the reflections and being injured. But there was nothing that could be done about it. And why does the 'bed' have to be so hard, as she rolled over once more. This castle came out of the mystery box after defeating the tyrant Tirek. It was where her and her friends were supposed to, do whatever that solved friendship problems. But right now, it was causing Twilight sleeping problems. Why did this have to be my home? Why did Tirek destroy my old one. During the fight with Tirek, she had teleported home to get away from him. But he found her and sent a giant blast to her. She barely had enough time to teleport, grab Owlicious, and teleport out before it blew up. She tossed and turn, and tossed some more. She pondered how she could get to sleep while on this, hard, unforgiving rock: Tea: I really don't like tea, especially not what happened in Princess Celestia's chambers many years ago. She shuttered at the memory. How does Cadance sleep on these things? Ok, Magic: I bet there is a spell fall sleep. I'll check the librar...the thought trailed off as she remembered that her library was gone. I bet Luna would know. But staying asleep was the key, and sustaining that kind of spell though the night would make her more exhausted in the morning. Ok then, let me see if I can count ewes: one, two three... As she counted up ewes, time felt like it began to so. Seconds turned to minutes, minutes turned to hours, and hours felt like an eternity. eighteen thousand three hundred sixty seven... The alarm clock rings. "Good morning Twilight," a perky Spike said, poking his head into the room, "How did you sleep? I slept like a rock." Twilight, more tired than three all-nights with no sleep whatsoever, threw a pillow at the door. Spike ducking back behind the door as the flying projectile hit. "Ok then, I'll be out there if you need me," he said leaving faster than a Sonic Rainboom. Now an extremely tired Twilight turn back, fell back onto her bed, and closed her eyes.

It has been an hour since Princess Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship, went to bed. For an hour, she has been tossing and turn trying to get comfortable. The firmness of her bed has made it difficult the past week to get to sleep. A week ago she, along with her friend, had saved Equestria again by defeating Tirek, a power-hungry, revenge seeking, magic draining tyrant. A week ago, their friend, Discord, betrayed them. A week ago that tyrant destroyed her home and the town's library, the Golden Oaks Library. A week ago her friends discovered a new power to defend Equestria with. A week ago, the magic box that gave them the new power, give Twilight a castle and a new home. But that was a week ago. It was a hard week for her since defeating Tirek. There was first the Thank You celebration, the House Warming celebration, numerous and long meetings with the Princesses and the council, and dealing with the lose of all of her personal possessions. All of that, and getting very little sleep. The first night in her new castle, she fell asleep easily after being worn out, but when she woke up, she was as stiff as the rock* she slept on. The next night she used a sleeping spell, but had the same problem as the night before. she tried sleeping on a cloud, but found it too cold and wet for her; sleeping in the castle and her parents house, only to be woken up by 'emergencies' and fancolts respectively. She has tried asking her friends and the Princesses what they do to go to sleep (Pinkie's sleeping plan was counterproductive: eating lots of sugar). She even asked Cadence, her sister-in-law and former foal-sitter, how she sleeps, to which they were interrupted by a yellow pegasus of Cadance's guard (**).
