Fallout: A Mailwoman, and a Vault Dweler
Chapter 1: Two Wasters and Some Ponies
Sitting inside an old rundown apartment room were two people. One was a woman with chocolate brown skin, and pitch black long hair that was tucked inside her NCR beret. Her outfit consisted of a brown leather duster, black boots, and a pair of white cotton pants along side her sunglasses. On the bed beside her was a man with somewhat tan skin. He was wearing a set of Reily's Rangers combat armor, and a pair of eye glasses. His hair was brown, and styled to be blast back, on his face he sported a beard. They were just enjoying each other's company when a large yellowish hand punched through the door interrupting their cuddle.
"Well our rest is up." announced the woman grabbing a fancy looking rifle with several tubes sticking out if it, and three glowing barrels. The man sighed, and grabbed a boxy scoped rifle with a very long barrel that was leaning against the bed.
"I was very much enjoying our little cuddle session." he stated firing a .308 round into the door causing the being to scream in pain, and a second shot ended it's life. "I guess it can wait until were out of the city though." At the moment these two where hunkered down in an abandoned apartment complex in the middle of the Capital Wasteland on obviously the worst honeymoon ever in the history of honeymoons,
The woman was named Rebecca, but was known by the rest of the world as The Courier. The man was named Henry, but he went by The Lone Wanderer. They had married roughly four years ago, but due to the world they live in being so deadly their honeymoon was set back a bit. They were currently on their way to Oasis a land covered in grass, trees, and peace instead of the rest of the worlds dirt, ruins, and anarchy. "Well shall we make a move on?" asked Rebecca putting her Multi-plas rifle on her back, and strapping her plasma pistol to her hip.
Henry nodded, slinging his rifle onto his back, and putting his unique .44 revolver BlackHawk onto his right hip, and his laser pistol on his left. He then grabbed his drum fed combat shotgun, and left it in his hands. "I suppose we shall." he answered kicking down the remainder of the slightly rotted (and hole filled) door ready to face down the mutants while his wife cleaned herself up.
Meanwhile in Equestria
"Sister are you sure it is wise to be testing this after your late night wine sister?" asked a dark blue alicorn who's mane looked to be made of the night sky itself besides a small strand of it which was a light blueish color to a larger white alicorn with a flowing mane that looked somewhat like a rainbow in a way. The larger one was obviously intoxicated having drank several bottles of wine just minutes ago, and her horn was aglow with a yellow light.
"I'm *hic* fine Luna...just a weeeeee bit tipsy..." claimed the white alicorn as she wobbled a bit horn still glowing. The other alicorn presumably named Luna approached her sister. A look of worry on her face.
"Tia please. You know how alcohol affects your magic. You have no idea what it will do!" pleaded Luna. Her sister didn't listen, and charged a spell. It was a basic teleportation spell, but instead of sending her someplace it was meant to teleport something to her. Before Luna could say anything the drunk alicorn fired off her spell...nothing happened.
"That *hic* was a real *hic* bust..." muttered the taller alicorn before losing her footing, and falling to the floor out cold.
Meanwhile in The Capital Wasteland
Henry had his combat shotgun pressed against the last of the super mutants skulls "Any last words?" he asked putting pressure on the trigger, but not pulling it. "I could let you live, but you'd have to swear not to terrorize the people of the wastes any longer. I already killed your friends so don't try anything" he said looking around to the many bullet filled corpses of the super mutants. The were large, hulking humanoids with yellowish green skin, and exposed teeth.
Apparently this brute had some brains, and nodded "Good! Now head to the History Museum, and look for a super mutant named Fawkes he'll help you." he holstered his shotgun on his back next to his sniper, and marched back to the apartment. "Honey I delt with the big uglies! You got everything?"
"I do belive I did." answered Rebecca as she walked out of the bathroom a large backpack resting on her back. "Now can we finally head out? I'm getting tired of super mutants." she walked up and planted a kiss on his cheek "So how high is the kill count now?"
Henry counted in his head for a moment then spoke "Eight hundred sixty seven." Now he kissed her cheek "And I think I'll take you up on the offer of getting the fuck outa dodge." She smiled, and took his hand as they waltzed out the door...then dissapeared in a flash of golden light.
In The Everfree Forest
There was a flash of golden light in the middle of the forest startling the local wildlife. Where the flash occurred stood two very confused wastelanders. Rebecca spoke first "Fuck...hey looks like we made it!" she grinned ear to ear "So Henry know were a place to stay is?"
"Nope cause this is most definitely not Oasis..." answered her husband as he drew his laser pistol "There are creatures stalking around the foliage. Ready your Multi-plas rifle." and she did just that flicking a switch on the side making the three barrels glow with plasmic energy. Henry flipped on his laser pistol as well. The boxy hand held device hummed with energy.
The first timber wolf jumped out of the brush startling the duo "What the fuck..." Rebecca shouted right before firing her rifle at the wolf. The three balls of super heated plasma melting it into a puddle of goo "Is that?" she finished panting as she ejected the cartridge from her rifle, and inserted a fresh one.
"They appear to be wolves made of wood. My guess is that we are either not on Earth any more, or we are tripping on Jet..., and considering we don't carry that shit with us I'd say it's safe to assume the first..." answered Henry as another one of them attacked. He spun around, and fired several beams of crimson death at the wolf reducing it to ash. "Honestly it's not a surprise after the Mothership Zeta shenanigans."
Rebecca lifted her left arm, and glanced at the small boxy object on her forearm. It was her Pip-boy 3000 wrist mounted super computer. On the screen was a map with the words 'Equestria' printed on the top center. "I have no clue how my map is working, but I'm glad it does." she tapped the screen "It says the place where in is called the Everfree forest. There is a settlement nearby called...Ponyville?" she tried to stifle a laugh "Oh god that name..." she burst out laughing holding her gut as her laughing fit continued.
In The Air Above the Everfree
Luna hovered above the scene having followed her sisters magical trail, and seeing the duo the one who was obviously a female was busting out laughing at something she couldn't hear. "What could she possibly be funny enough that being dragged across dimensions doesn't faze her?" she was utterly confused. If she was in their shoes she'd probably be freaking out. "Perhaps I should introduce myself, and apologize for my sisters mistake...sounds like a plan." she spoke to herself.
Just as she was about to fly down, and talk to them there was an explosion several miles behind her large enough for her to see "What the buck..." As she turned around to look at the explosion the two wasters took off through the forest towards it. God knows the ponies there need all the help they can get...
