Chapters Doctor Derpy; Dinky's Father Revealed
Dinky was determined to find out who her father was. She strode through the crowded streets of Ponyville after her argument with her mom. "What are you thinking?" Pip had said moments before.
"I'm gonna find out who my father is if it's the last thing I do!" Dinky had responded. Back in present times, as Dinky trotted along, Pipsqueak tried to catch up to his yellow eyed friend.
"Dink! Wait up!!!" He finally caught up to her, panting as she stopped and turned around.
"WHAT!" she yelled, than lowered her voice. "Sorry, what do you want Pipsqueak?" He caught his breath than spoke.
"You need to calm down about this. I know you want to find your dad but we need more time to figure this out. It's not like we'll just bump into him. As if on que, a brown stallion with an even browner mane bumped into the twosome. Pip and Dinky fell onto their flanks.
"Very sorry you two" the stallion told the two foals in a British accent.
"Thats fine sur, come on Pip" said Dinky.
"Coming Dinky!" He chased after his friend, leaving the stallion thinking. Dinky!? Thats Dinky! he though, awfully confused.
"Pip?"
"Yeah?"
"I feel like ive seen him before. I dont know where though." Dinky wondered why she was thinking this, for she had never seen him in her life. For what she knew anyway. Suddenly, Derpy came running towards the two, making them topple once more. This time, on top of one another.
"Sorry, kids. I was chasing after a brown stallion wearing a green tie. Have you seen him?" Derpy asked.
Dinky and Pipsqueak didn't need any time to think. "You mean that stallion that ran us over earlier today?" Pip asked. Dinky nodded in agreement. Derpy didn't say anything except plaster a shocked expression on her face and ran off. The twosome shruged it off, got off each other, and started walking away. Dinky was still mad at her mother but she now was more concerned about what she had just seen.
Why was mother asking if we had seen him? Is he somepony important? Hmmmm Dinky thought. She kept trotting until Pipsqueak stopped her in her tracks. She gave him a 'What?' look and he pointed towards a strange monster attacking poor foals. "Oh Dear! Let's help them Pipsqueak! Come on!" Dinky rushed off. Worried, Pip galloped after his yellow mained friend.
"Wait up Dinky!!!!" Pip yelled, stopping to catch his breath. Some times, he didn't know where she got all this energy.
Dinky shot one of the monsters with her magic. "Back off these innocent foals you monsters!" She yelled to them, much to Pip's surprise. "Pick on somepony your own species!!!" she continued. A HUGE blast of magical energy spread from her horn to the entire army of monsters that have arrived. "Do you know what they are Pip?"
Pipsqueak pondered while his friend fought on the front lines. A little lightbulb came on in his tiny little head. "They're a race if pony called a changeling. They are insect ponies that feed on pony love."
"CHANGELING!" Dinky shouted in shock.

F.Y.I. this does take place AFTER Twilight's kingdom so more of that in the next chapter.

"I can't believe THESE are Changelings! They look nothing like them" Dinky grunted as she fought off another. Suddenly, not to her surprise, the Changeling had transformed back to it's regular self. Eep! Dinky thought as one tackled her, pinning her in place.
"Dinky!" Pip growled at the Changeling. "Get your hooves off my best friend you big ugly bug!"
With that statement, Pipsqueak lunged at the Changeling goon, tackling it just as Dinky had done. Then he bucked and kicked the others in the area. Suddenly, a purple alicorn flew down from her tree castle. "Twilight!" Dinky exclaimed, running to her mentor.
"Dinky, what happened?" Twilight asked her faithful student. "Why were there Changelings here!?"
Dinky pawed at the ground with a hoof. "We don't know exactly but..."
"But we stopped them and that's all that matters," Pip cut in, "besides, if you were gone, than who would find who your father was?"
Dinky suddenly put two hooves over Pipsqueak's mouth and laughed nervously. "Well, if you want to know about your family tree, I can help you with it" Twilight told Dinky.
She was about to answer when Changelings attacked again. "Dont these guys EVER GIVE UP!" Dinky yelled as she shot another one. Then a very tall Changeling with a green mane and long horn plopped down on the ground. She realized that the Changeling had a crown on it's head. "NO! Queen Crysallis!"
"Thats right little foals, I am Queen Crysallis! As you can guess, I am Queen of the Changelings!" She boasted, obviously too conceaded to figure out that she was about to be defeated once more. "Aw, Twilight! I didn't know you were a Princess now. Do you have your own castle too?" She joked.
"Yes, and this time, I don't need my brother or sister in law to stop you!" Twilight's rainbow powers kicked in and she instantly kicked Crysallis's flank. "This is the new and improved me, Princess Twilight; Princess of Friendship!"
Crysallis flew off, cursing under her breath as she planned revenge once more, her Changeling goons following closely behind.
"Now, If you want to know about your father, Id be happy to help" Twilight told the young unicorn, who nodded excitedly. Yes!!! I get to finally learn about my father!!! Dinky thought, jumping around like Pinkie Pie around Cheese Sandwich when he came to town. Pipsqueak, however, looked glum. He wanted to help his friend all he could but he couldnt level up to a princess. Sad and defeated, he walked away from the happy unicorn behind him. That is how it would be left for him, them being behind him as he started to leave town. Dinky saw this and told Twilight to wait as she galloped after her friend, wanting more answers that ever.

Pipsqueak's Confession and Family Secrets
Dinky galloped after her friend and as he came closer, she seamed to slow down. She trotted next to his side. "Pip? What's wrong?" Dinky asked politely with a hint of concern. Pipsqueak looked from her to nowhere in particular, than trotted to an empty bench.
"Come sit, Dink. I have to say something" Pip told her, patting his hoof on the empty spot next to him. Accepting his offer, Dinky took his side once more.
"What do you want to say?"
At that moment, Pipsqueak became nervous. He took a deep breath in and then let it out. Then started talking. "You see, I want to help you all I can cause your my friend but compared to Princess Twilight, I cant help one bit. I'm useless now that she is your mentor. I just wish that not only I could help you, but that you could spend more time with me like when we were little." Pipsqueak's expression dimmed.
"Pip...are you jealous of me hanging out with Twilight?!" Dinky looked surprised. "Do...do you like me, Pip?"
Pipsqueak nodded shyly. "I didn't know how to tell you but I guess you've figured out. I just wish I could be there for you more."
A small smile popped onto Dinky's face. She put a hoof on Pipsqueak's back and told him, "but you HAVE been there for me. Just look back to when I was yelling at my mom, as I stomped out, you followed to support me. You also have helped me get this far and got that Changeling off me. In my book, your my hero for keeping me in check" the young filly said, resting her head on Pip's shoulder. Suddenly, Pipsqueak stood up, knocking Dinky's head off his shoulder. "Pip? What's wrong?" she asked once more.
"Look Dink, I dont know how to say this but I dont like you...I...I..." Pipsqueak was cut off by the young filly's lips touching his. She had felt the same way that Pip did obviously. After a few moments, the kiss broke, and they were back in reality.
"You don't have to say anything Pip, I know what you were saying" Dinky practically sang. "Come on! My family tree awaits!" With that, the two then galloped off towards Twilight's Castle, Pipsqueak still happy about the kiss.

"Now," stated Twilight, "Let's find your family scroll." The twosome and the princess looked aimlessly for at least an hour before Pip said.
"I've found it! The Doo family scroll!" Sliding down their ladders, Dinky and Twilight joined the painted colt at a crystal table. "Look at this, ok. So here is Dinky's mom, Ditzy Doo a.k.a. Derpy Hooves, and next to her is...Some stallion named Time Turner." The foals looked at Twilight.
Yeah, I know him. He was here not to long ago looking for...For Derpy!" Twilight realized. "I think I know where he went! Come on you two! Follow me!

7 months had passed and finally to everypony's delight, it was time for the wedding. Pinkie Pie had a fun time decorating the reception while Rarety worked on the actual wedding room. They were to be married in Ponyville at Twilight's castle. Twilight would reside over the ceremony and then the rest of the princesses would join her for the reception. Pipsqueak looked dashing in his ring bearer tux and Dinky looked stunning in her best mare dress. They took their places and the wedding began.
Derpy trotted down the isle in a white long gown with a cutie mark necklace. The gown also had bubbles at the bottom trim. Her vail covered her face until she was up on stage. As soon as she was, the crowd was seated. "Friends," Twilight started, "today we are here to celebrate the joining together of Derpy Hooves and Time Turner. Anypony speak now or forever hold your peace." The room was silent. "Time Turner, do you take the lovely Derpy to be your loftly wedded wife?"
"I do"
"And do you, Derpy Hooves, Take the dashing Time Turner to be you loftly wedded husband?"
"I do"
"Without further ado, I now pronounce you mare and colt!"
The crowd stood up and cheered as they sealed their love with a kiss. Dinky started crying tears of joy and soon after, so did Pip. They all headed out to the streets for the reception. As said earlier, the rest of the princesses came to see the reception and have some fun. At first it was nice and slow but than once again, Pinkie got a hold of the music. Suddenly it was really up beat and everypony was dancing like crazy. Than a mic was thrown at Dinky and like Twilight at her brother's wedding, she started to sing.
After the song, they had cake, muffins, and punch. Then more dancing and fun. "This is soooooooooo fun mom! Thank you for coming back dad!" Dinky exclaimed, hugging her parents.
"No problem. I thought it was time to come back and see my daughter again after 10 years."
With that, the party came to a close.
Author's Note
Well, I think that was my best wedding scene yet! I actually wanted to write the song but couldn't come up with lyrics. Once again, its a pretty small chapter but I feel like my epilogue wouldn't work if I went past the wedding reception.

Epilogue: Family Time Matters
Two years after the wedding, Dinky was spending more and more time with Twilight and her studies of magic. She had practically no time for her family, friends, or stallionfriend Pipsqueak. One day, Pip came to talk to her about it.
Pipsqueak knocked on her bedroom door. "Dinky? Are you in there?" Dinky grunted and opened her door.
"Yes." She looked glum.
"What's the mater?" Pip took her hoof in his, concern flashing in his eyes.
Dinky looked down at their hooves. "I cant get a single spell right. Im gonna fail and I'll never become a princess." Hoof to forehead, Pip sighed.
He just gave a faint laugh. "Being a Princess shouldnt be your only priority. Princess Twilight has proven that. You should hang out with your friends and family. It will make your magic stronger. And it's also nice to do." Dinky then hugged him, silently thanking him for his support. Then Doctor Whooves came up the stares.
"Oh hello Pipsqueak. Dinky...he has a point. We are here for you and you can take some time off from your magic and princess training." the Doctor said, looking his daughter.
"Fine, but shut up with the sappy talk!!!" Suddenly a big burst of magic burst through Dinky's horn, spreading plants and good smells around her house. "HUH!?"
"I was baking muffins when a blast of energy put flowers everywhere, even in my mane" said Derpy, joining the rest.
"Ohmygosh! That was the spell I was trying to perfect. Yay!!!" She jumped around her family and stallionfriend happily and full of glee. "Now lets go play some games and spend some time together 'cause family time matters!!!"

A Time Turning Mystery Solved!
Twilight, Dinky, and Pipsqueak galloped to Ponyville Park and found a brown stallion wearing a green tie sitting on a bench, looking like he was waiting for somepony. "Oh Mr. Time Turner? Sorry to interrupt, but I was wondering...are you by chance meeting somepony here?" asked Dinky shyly. She didn't know what to expect if this was her real father.
"Why yes, my little filly friend, I am waiting for an old college of mine, Derpy Hooves is her name" He said. Dinky's eyes widened.
"Derpy Hooves is my mom!" said Dinky excitedly. She had never been so happy to hear her mom's name in her entire life! "Ummm...do you by chance have a daughter named Dinky Doo?"
It was his turn for his eyes to widen. He shook his head in shock like he was trying to get water out of his ears. "I did have a daughter but I left her and her mom because I would cause too much pain for them...too much trouble and I could not stand to see them get hurt."
"I'm surprised you even came back, Doctor" said a voice in the distance. Everypony spun around to Derpy with a bunch of muffins in a bag standing a mere 5 feet away. "Yes, Dinky, Time Turner is you dad but when he left, he told me to get any memory of him erased out of your mind. Sit down and we'll tell the story."
Half and hour later, Dinky looked up at her parents. She was shocked that she was just abandoned in an allyway in Canterlot and that that same day they were attacked by Changelings. This story was just too bazaar. "Well," said Time Turner, "I am proud to say that I am not going away for a long time. I can stay with my family." He hugged Derpy and Dinky. "The only thing now is to become an actual family." The Doctor stood up in front of Derpy and pulled out a ring box. "Derpy, will you marry me?"
"Of course Doctor!!! YES!!!" Derpy jumped up and tackled the Doctor in a huge hug.
"We're going to be a family!!!! Yay!!!" Dinky jumped up and down and hugged Pipsqueak so hard that he could barely breath. He acknowledged this and she let go.
"Dinky?"
"Hm?"
"How would you like to be our best mare?"

Sorry these chapters are so short. I would write more but the thing is, once I am past a certain point, I cant tell anymore or it will ruin the next chapter. That's why I usually leave chapters off with questions or really weird scenes. Anyhoof, enjoy the next chapter!
