Chapter One
Princess Celestia rapidly paced in front of the castle doors, awaiting the arrival of a certain group of six friends.
Mumbling and pacing had been all she had done since last night-- how could she be doing anything else? How could she rest with knowledge like this?
It had all started last night when she decided to take a late-night walk through Canterlot.
Hoofsteps echoed throughout the city, soothing Celestia. Late-night walks had always helped her through a stressful event.
She sighed deeply, admiring the beautiful architecture around her. She passed by a fountain, one she had known all her life. In stone it had herself as a filly raising the sun, with Luna watching right beside her. Celestia smiled and sat down next to the fountain, admiring the amazing detail. "They even got my crown's shape correct," she happily mumbled to herself.
Her train of thought was interrupted when she heard a voice scream her name. ". . .Huh?"
She stood up from the ground and located the source of the noise. Celestia was sure that it came from Sealed Scroll, the husband of Lemony Gem.
Can't I ever catch a break? Celestia thought to herself before spreading her wings and taking off to get a better view of the neighborhood.
Once Celestia had spotted the apartment of Mr. and Mrs. Scroll, she maneuvered her body and wings so that she slowly began to descend downward.
Her horn began to glow a golden hue, using magic to forcefully open the locked door.
The source of the noise seemed to come from the bedroom, which from the view from the bottom of the stairs, appeared to be locked.
Celestia lit her horn, preparing to blast a lazer at anypony who might be attacking the stallion. With that, she rushed up the stairs as fast as she could and pushed the door wide open, revealin--
"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?!" Celestia gasped.
Long story short, she wasn't going to be talking to the Scroll family for quite some time.
She had left the house and raced back to her own, and then proceeded to do anything but sleep for the rest of the night.
Once she had risen the sun, she sent a letter to Princess Twilight and her friends to come to Canterlot Castle immediately.
Now she was here, awaiting their arrival.
"What is taking her so long?!" Celestia growled. Luckily, seconds later, the castle door slammed open, revealing six ponies with determined looks on their faces.
"Princess, what's wrong? Did Discord get into Luna's wine cellar again?!" Twilight shouted, out of breath from running.
"Twilight, last night I encountered something terrible..." Celestia began.
"T-terrible?" Fluttershy stuttered, "Like... a monster?"
Celestia raised an eyebrow at Twilight and her friends, "Are any of you aware that ponies often scream my name during acts of sexual intercourse?"
