As her hooves thud against the ground with each stride, Derpy had lost all focus on what was happening around her. What the heck is going on? she thought to herself as she scouted the area for a place to hide with her muffins. Derpy could hear this thing getting closer and closer, she could hear a muffled cry from this thing from the distance but she kept up her stride, focusing on the stride of her hooves. Her heart is racing as fast as her hooves, ducking and weaving past tree's, boulders and animals. All she could think about was her delicious muffins of deliciousness in her saddlebag. Derpy looked behind her and started to see the shape of the thing as it got closer, all she could make out was a shorter shape but of a solid material. Objects sticking out of it's body, its material drab and rustic. Hearing it cry out, Derpy could start to make out the sound...
"Ex......"
Something fired at her! Derpy ducked.
"Exterm...."
oh my! Derpy thought to herself. I'm really in some trouble here, I guess I shouldn't have taken these forbidden muffins I found!.
"EXTERMINATE!" she heard the thing cry out.
Derpy was really worried now as the thing started firing lasers at her, she dodged left then right as quickly as she could, dodging the green lasers. As Derpy kept running while she was looking behind, she didn't notice that she was running straight into some strange blue box thing.

"Ello!" greeted Doctor Whooves, grinning from cheek to cheek.
Derpy just stood around dazed, trying to catch her breath, nearly passing out from the tension and surprise of that thing chasing her.

"EXTERMINATE, YOU WILL DIE" cried out the Dalek.

Derpy heard the mechanical sound and leapt behind Doctor Whooves. "What.....what IS that?!"

Doctor Whooves pulled out an odd looking instrument and Derpy watched as he pointed the shiny interesting object at the Dalek, the Doctor pressed a button and with a bzzzzzzz noise, the Dalek was temporarily disabled.

"Why are you here?" Questioned the Doctor to the Dalek.
"I will not answer you" responded the Dalek.
"What are you looking for?" Asked the Doctor
"You are not worthy" replied the Dalek
Doctor Whooves sent the Dalek a high frequency pitch to the Dalek, making it feel very uncomfortable. "I shall ask you again, WHY are you HERE in Canterlot??"
The Dalek was unresponsive.
"What value are of these muffins? Answer me!"
"We will never reveal to the Doctor our plans. We are Daleks, we are superior beings!" replied the Dalek hastily.
The doctor noticed the Dalek's weapon charging, and with one swift hoof kicked up a sheet of steel near-by and blocked the Dalek's incoming laser, reflecting it back to the Dalek, destroying it.

"Well that was unfortunate" Said the Doctor with disappointment. "Though I knew the chances of the Dalek actually telling me anything was slim, it's always worth a try!"

"Uh, what was that and what is that and what was going on???" asked Derpy frantically.

"Well, that robot coming towards you is better known as a Dalek, the device I am holding is my sonic screwdriver and I just saved your life! I'm the doctor by the way, pleased to meet you" Said the doctor hurriedly and started shaking Derpy's hoof wildly in anticipation.

Derpy stared at Doctor Whooves as he shook her hoof frantically and blinked a few times before realising her leg was about to detach itself.
"What on earth is a Dalek and how did it get here? I'm Derpy and its nice to meet you too. Muffin?" Derpy asked excitedly.
Derpy's grin started to slowly fade as she started to realise how small the blue box was when she ran into it mistakenly. She looked around in awe at this giant....thing. She started to look in one corner, her eyes followed this massive dome like shape from one side to the other, covered in beautiful shiny materials, random objects of all brilliant colours of sorts that Derpy had never seen before. Her eyes came to rest on the centrepiece in the middle. A huge tube with beautiful crystals in the centre. Around the bottom of this tube seemed to be some type of control panel.

Doctor whooves noticed Derpy examining the inside of his vessel, he knew what was going to happen next and waited for it with a smug grin on his face...

Derpy slowly backed out the door, and looked at the blue box..thing. She slowly wandered her way around the outside of this box. Once she did a full lap of this box she slowly walked back inside. "How..."

"How does it work you are going to ask?" asked the Doctor, cutting off Derpy before she could finish her sentence. "Who am I? Why am I here?" asked the doctor to Derpy. "WELL" exclaimed the doctor "I'm glad you asked, see I was on my way to planet Yip, when my Tardis, which would stand for time and relative dimension in space, picked up the signal of a Dalek in Equestria. I noticed you fleeing for your life so I strategically planted my Tardis right here for you to run into. My Tardis takes me anywhere in space and time I wish to go. A space ship if it makes it easier to understand"

Derpy blinked a few times. "Is it...safe?"

"You bet it is!" replied the doctor, trotting around the tardis excitedly. "I'll have that muffin now"

Derpy trotted over to Doctor Whooves and handed him one of the forbidden muffins she found.

"A-HA!" exclaimed the Doctor.

"What is it?" asked Derpy

"Well, I can tell you why this Dalek was after you, where did you find this muffin?" the doctor asked while scanning the muffin with his screwdriver.

Derpy eyed off this interesting screwdriver carefully.

"Well, i was trotting through the forest all happy-like after doing my mail deliveries, when i heard Princess Twilight Sparkle talking with Princess Celestia. I know I shouldn't have listened in, but all I heard them say was something about muffins in a cave and that I couldn't find out about it until they knew what was going on. After I heard them say that I was on my way to this cave where I found this treasure of muffins. I know they look odd but all muffins are beautiful to me, I love them all the same. It was while I was down there that I saw that Dalek-thingy and started to run for my life. Then I ran straight into your Tardis, which I'm so glad I did"

The doctor nodded. "WELL" he shouted while stomping his hooves, making Derpy jump a little which made the Doctor grin. "How would you like to come for a journey with me?"

"A journey?" Derpy asked "You mean i'm not in trouble and you aren't going to kill me for taking these spectacular muffins?"

Doctor Whooves laughed. "Kill you? Now thats a new one! A bit dark and gloomy for me though and YES, accompany me on a journey to find out where these muffins came from and why they are so valuable that a Dalek would find its way to Equestria to protect it.That Dalek has come a long way you know! Perhaps we could start with a chat with this Twilight Farkle and Pedestria?"

Derpy laughed. "you mean Twilight Sparkle and Celestia?" replied Derpy still giggling. This Doctor is hilariously charming thought Derpy

"Y-yes... Twilight Sparkle and Celestia.." replied the doctor awkwardly, looking from side-to-side. "Right-o then, shall we?"

"Yeah!" exclaimed Derpy, excited to finally be having her own adventure. Nothing exciting ever happen's to me in Equestria, what luck! Derpy thought with a smile.

"Allons-y!" Cried the Doctor with great enthusiasm.

So derpy and the Doctor wandered across Equestria to find Twilight Sparkle and Celestia. What could possibly happen on their way there in such a peaceful town of Canterlot?
