The Protectors: log one

I plopped down on the couch, and sighed. I looked over to my familiar

"So what do you think?” I asked him.

"About what? “He responded

“You know very well what?"

"I think you could use some energy in your life. “He responded.

"You would."

A knock on the door ended the conversation. I got up and opened the door, and met a mail mare.

"I got a letter for you.”She said as she handed me a letter.

I took the letter and slammed the door in her face. I opened the letter.

It read “Meeting at noon in the master room’s jewelry box.”

. My familiar appeared next to me .He read the Letter

"Interesting, I wonder who it is this time." He questioned.

"Let’s go." I responded as I walked out the door.

We walked for about an hour through tunnels and streets in till we came to an old mine entrance.

"So what are we looking for? “My familiar asked.

"I don't know. Anything usual." I answered.

I made my horn glow and looked at the mine entrance. The entrance had been mined clean. The wall were rough and dry. An insect landed on a rock next to me and made a beeping sound. I looked down at the bug.
"You smart bastards." I mumbled .

The bug glowed slightly blue. It was clearly metal. A robot most likely .I reached down towards it and it jumped onto my hoof .It glowed brighter. It scanned my DNA.

Next it jumped off of my hoof and started slowly flying into the cave. I followed behind it. IT took me through a series of tunnels deep into the mine. It landed on the wall outside the entrance to a large chamber. I walked into the chamber.

"Gix you made it." Greycloack said as he came up and hugged me. His brown covered in dirt .Likely from his day job. Photon turner sat in a corner tinkering with some device. His red coat was grizzled as usual. Likely from negligence.

"It’s a pleasure to see you again master Gix” Said Greycloack familiar, a gold eastern dragon, as he established a link...

“Nice to see you to" I said to Greycloack as he released me. "So what this meeting about?"

“I want to wait until Juste gets here before we start." He answered.

I took a seat on one of rock nearby looked over the data. My familiar entertained himself by annoying Greycloak's with random questions. Thirty minutes later a blat of cold air announced her arrival as she appeared from the darkness. Her dark purple mane was messy as usual.

“Sup bitches, what’s the fucks the problem. “She yelled as she folded her bat wings and entered the room. Black smoke trailed behind her.
My familiar jumped forward Steve,

" Steve it wonderful to see you and . " My familiar said in greeting .

"You know my name old one why do you insist on insulting me?” Steve said In his dark foreboding voice.

"Because I find it Hilarious" My familiar said in his playful voice.

Greycloack walked forward and set a device on the ground.

"Alright let’s begin.” Greycloack said .The device turned on and projected a hologram. The hologram was of a vampire pony. The pony in question had bat wings, a light grey coat, black mane and blue eyes.

Greycloack continued "King Blood heart lord of all vampires. Two days ago the W.N.S.S caught him planning to fight Celestial.
He plans to kill her then take control of the sun. Simulations have Celestial winning only thirty nine percent of the time. That's too low a number for us to simply stand by and do nothing. We need to eliminate this threat. Gix."

I stood up and touched the hologram "This is his castle “The hologram changed to an evil looking castle. " Every day Blood heart stirs up the winds around his castle until night falls. It’s impossible to approach the castle during the day. It be like trying to walk through a hurricane. The assassination will have to happen during the night .The castles imbued with a large amount of dark magic. The castles not likely to simply let us walk through it.”

"So I shadow teleport in and shank the fucker.”She injected.

"Sadly it’s not that simple." I responded “Vampires are naturally a tuned to the dark. The second you get within a mile of the castle they will know, and react."

Juste responded “So what you want to go asshole.”

"Yes to be honest. I have experience with dark magic and can get through, or lead someone else through. "

"Fine then. “She responded.

"I agree you should be there." Greycloack said. "Photon turner will you be coming with us?”

"No, I have some dangerous projects that need attending to. “He responded.
"Alright so it’s me and Greycloack. Entry point we need one. Any ideas? "

"There by the water.” Phrotonturner asked. The hologram zoomed in on the the spot he specified.

"It's a slide of sort’s .Its where they dump the bodies after they suck the blood out. It would serve as a good point of entry. Alright that's a plan. Me and Greycloack will enter through the chute and make our way through to the great hall. "I said

"Meet me at the train station in an hour. Greycloack said as he walked out the door.

“I must be going .Theres science to be done!" Phrotonturner said as he walked towards the exit.

"Wait, Photon." I said.

"Yes."

"I need you to build something."

"What?"
