She love the feeling if the air blowing through her mane on days like today. There were no storms planned and everything was going her way today. Rainbow Dash had just bought tickets to the next Wonder Bolts show and it started in only a couple hours. Just thinking about it put a smile on her face as she flapped her wings harder. She looped around and headed back to work to check out for the day. As she flew back over Ponyville once again she scanned the streets below to see if her friends were wandering around just yet. Not seeing the ponies she was looking for, she zoomed up to.work and landed on the clouds outside of her building. "Hey boss, I'm done for the day I just wanted to let you know I was going home." She called out in a bored tone as she walked in. She looked around and saw that all the lights were off and nopony was around. "Hmm, I actually check out for once and nopony is around." she shrugged and walked back out of the building.  "Oh well." She looked at the large clock tower cloud to check the time. The Wonderbolts show didn't start until mid afternoon and it was only ten o'clock. Rainfbow Dash sighed and shook her head. "What should I do 'til then?" she zoomed back into the air and back towards Ponyville. As she drew closer to Ponyville a though came to her and she began to grin. She flapped her wings harder and flew straight up into the sky. The higher she got the faster she flew, chuckling to herself when she was almost to the top of the highest clouds she paused and hovered to look down at the town below. Unable to see anything through the clouds she folded her wings to her back and began to freefall. Rainbow Dash closed her eyes and sighed in relaxation as the wind blew her mane around her face. She stayed like this for a few moments before her eyes snapped open. Rainbow Dash faced the grind and spread her wings in a way that they wouldn't create much drag. she began to flap her wings to force herself to plummet to the ground. Each flap of her wings thrust her faster and faster. The wind around her began to create a vortex and she started to feel the resistance. She flapped her wings harder, her muscles beginning to feel the burn of the strain. jets of air starts spiraling around Rainbow Dash and she pushed herself harder. Ponies in Ponyville saw her flying straight down at them. A few of them had smiles, but on little filly had a huge grin. Scootaloo cried out as loud as she could. "GO RAINBOW DASH!" BOOM. With a thundering bang and a disc of rainbow spreading out, Rainbow Dash straightened out and flew parallel up the ground, only a couple of feet above the tallest building. Rainbow Dash did a barrel roll and landed with a skid, just outside of the library.Home to one of her closest friends. She looked up and watched with pride as the rainbow disc fanned over the town and put into the surrounding around. Ponies for miles would have seed the sonic rainboom. Rainbow Dash jumped up into the air and puffed out her chest proudly as the ponies around her looked to her and started beating their hooves on the ground in applause. She did a back flip and landed smoothly beside a pony with a pure white coat and fabulous purple mane and tail. "Hey Ratity, how's it going?" Rarity looked at her and tossed her mane with care. "Oh just marvelous darling. I just came from my weekly spa appointment with Fluttershy." She looked at Rainbow Dash's scruffy coat and cringed slightly. "You should come with us sometime. You're coat could really use it." "Rarity, you know know I don't do spas." Rainbow Dash scoffed. "Well you should at least give it a try. Anyway, what do you have planned today?" Rarity asked as she looked at her friend. Rainbow Dash glanced at the clock tower across the street before answering. "well in a few more hours I am going to see the Wonder Bolts. I just scored a ticket for a show just outside Canterlot. I'm about to head to the trains right now." "Oh, the Wonder Bolts are performing?" A pink pony asked as she appeared right beside Rarity, as if out of thin air. Rarity jumped and squealed in alarm at the sudden appearance. "Pinkie Pie, you really must stop doing that." "Stop doing what?" Pinkie asked as she bounced next to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash laughed and shakes her head as she hovered just above the ground. "Oh you should have seen your face Rarity. Priceless. But yes Pinkie, they are doing a show. And I am going to the trains now." "And you were going to leave with out telling us good bye?" Pinkie Pie asked in a tone of disapproval. "Well yeah. I was only going to be gone for a couple hours. Besides, I told you three days ago that the show was today." Rainbow Dash shrugged and landed between Rarity and Pinkie Pie. "Well darling, Pinkie Pie is right. You should have at least told us sooner so that we wouldn't have been worried while you were gone." Rarity stated and flipped her mane. "Yeah, what if something had happened to you while you were gone. And you were never able to come back. Then we wouldn't have known what to think." Pinkie said quickly. "Oh come on Pinkie. Nothings going to happen to me." Rainbow Dash said as she chuckled softly and shook her head. "Besides, if something did happen, I'm the fastest, toughest pony in Equestria." At the moment the library door opened and a small purple, baby dragon walked out carrying a bundle of scrolls and quills. Behind him was Twilight Sparkle, who was levitating a book in front of her and reading aloud to herself. Spike stopped walking to close the door, causing Twilight to bump into him. Spike stumbled and dropped all the things he was carrying. "Aww, come on. Twilight, you need to stop reading while walking." Spike grumbled as he began to pick up the scrolls. Having dropped the book when bumping into Spike, Twilight shook her head and picked the book back up with her magic. "Sorry Spike. But you know I've been doing a lot of research lately. And I think I might have found what I'm looking for." Twilight looked around, just noticing th small crowd outside of her home. "Oh, hello girls. I wasn't expecting to see you all here today." She picked up the quills with her magic and placed them on top of the scrolls in the baby dragons hands. "Well Rainbow Dash was going to leave for Canterlot without telling us." Pinkie said with a pout. "Pinkie. it's not a big deal. Nothing is going to happen." Rainbow Dash cut in before Twilight could say something. "Well it is to me." Pinkie whined. "Wait, what are you going to Canterlot for Rainbow Dash?" Twilight asked. Spike set the supplies down on the ground and sat beside them as he listened. "The Wonder Bolts are doing a show today and I just got a ticket." "Oh well that's kind of disappointing. I was really hoping to be able to surprise you with this. but now it seems we have one extra. The other three ponies looked at Twilight in confusion. "How is that disappointing? Me going to see my idols." Rainbow asked with a slightly hurt tone. "And what do you mean extra?" Rarity asked as she tilted her head just slightly. "Well girls, I had hoped we could all go to see the show together. I was going to return my book to its owner then come get you all. I had Princess  Celestia reserve us each a ticket." Twilight stated as she used her magic to open her saddlebags and pull out six blue tickets with lightening bolts on them. Rainbow Dash's eyes went wide as she saw the tickets. She shook her head in disbelief and sighed. "So what are you going to do with the extra ticket" "Hmmmm well, I don't know. We could bring one of our other friends." "but who would we choo...." Rarity was cut off by a loud pop and a sudden down pour of apple sauce. "I couldn't help but overhear that you had an extra ticket for the Wonder Bolts." An overgrown bird stated with a grin. A sudden flash revealed the familiar form Discord. "Ahhh my coat. I just got it cleaned at the spa." Rarity whined as the apple sauce covered her precious white coat. "What are you doing here Discord?" Rainbow Dash demands with a glare. "Like I said, I heard you had an extra ticket to see the Wonderbolts today. I thought I would tag along " he chuckles as he snaps his fingers, a red beach chair appears beside him and he takes a seat while floating in the air. "I see no problem with it." Pinkie Pie says with a smile as she bounces around the floating Discord. "As long as he makes chocolate rain again." Rarity nudges the three other ponies a little ways away from Discord; who had conjured a book and was reading. "I for one do not think it is a good idea to let him come." She whispered to the group. "What's the harm in letting him come?" Rainbow Dash spoke up. "Oh come on Twi, he never appears without a reason. He's up to something I tell ya." "Well let's at least go ahead and get the other two. I'm sure they would at least want to come." Twilight offered with a smile. "Alright, lets do that then decide." Rarity added in agreement. Twilight nodded and turned from the group. "Discord,we are going to go get the rest of our friends and we will meet you at Sugar Cube Corner." "Oh very well. I will just have to stir up a little chaos while I wait." And with that he snapped his fingers and disappeared before the ponies could say anything. Rainbow Dash snorted in frustration as Discord vanished. "He is up to something. I just know it." "I agree with Rainbow, we shouldn't trust him." Rarity sighed and turned to the others. "Well let's go get Fluttershy and Apple Jack." The four ponies turned together to hear to Fluttershys hut. After a few minutes the group of four ponies arrived at a small hut surrounded by small animals scurrying around and birds flying peacefully. Twilight walked up to the door and knocked. There was a couple of bumps as if somepony running into things. Finally the door opened and Fluttershy peaked her head out. "Oh, hello girls." She said quietly and stoped out of the hut, closing the door behind her with her tail. "What's going on Fluttershy? Is something wrong?" Rainbow Dash asked as she looks from the yellow pony to the home. "Poor little Angel is sick" Fluttershy responded with a small sigh. "Awww, will he be okay?" Twilight asked in concern. "He'll be fine. He just needs rest for now." Fluttershy smiled slightly. "So what brings you girls here today?" "Well I'm glad to hear he'll be fine. And we have tickets to the Wonder Bolts show in a few hours." Twilight used her magic to bring them out of her saddlebags. "We were wondering if you would come with us." Fluttershy shook her head politely. "Oh, I'm sorry girls but I can't go today. I have to stay here with Angel to make sure he gets better soon." "Aww come on 'Shy. You have to come. If you don't then we'll have two extra tickets." Rainbow Dash pleaded with a slight pout. "I'm sorry Rainbow, but I can't." Fluttershy layed her ears back apologetically. "That's quite alright dear. I'm sure we can fine somepony else to come with us." Rarity said with a smile. "Thank you." Fluttershy smiled at Rarity. "Think nothing of it darling. We all want Angel to get better. Isn't that right girls" The others nodded in agreement. "Well we had better get doing dear. We don't want to take up any more of your time." "Thank you for understanding." Fluttershy smile at the group and headed back to the door. "I hope you girls have fun." "We hope Angel gets better soon." the for ponies said in unison as they turned and trotted away. "So that leaves two extra tickets. Now what do we do?" Rainbow Dash asked in annoyance. "Well we have to ask Applejack first then we will go from there." Rarity replied as they trotted down the familiar path to the Apple family home. After a few minutes the orchard came into view as they discussed what to do with the tickets. "I say we give Discord a chance." Twilight stared as they walked up the stairs.
