A World Without The Sun
The cities shine their lights brightly and the slums burn spitefully.
The world is life lit by desire.
The sun burns no longer,
but the world burns anew.
This world we knew,
this world we loved,
it was fire, then desire, and now its dire.
The cities grow, intense flames, the sky ice, but who to blame?
We call to our god and hope for our savior,
but we walk away, only with failure.
Our world is flame, our hearts the same, as we sing our song, we burn.
Celestial Game
Our sun burns bright, our hearts alight.
This world it glows, kindling flames burn,
and people play their turn. but we will all fall,
because of the firewall. The sun burns bright, our great fight, for the world we love is not but a bite,
of the sun and what it takes. We loath and cry, for we know we will die, for this sun is not our friend, but a fiend ready to strike.
it goes for the kill, oh the screams shrill.
As our world, our glowing world, is ash.
Cards With The Devil
The cards all fold! the drunken statements bold!
We fight in cards! All the people sprawl to see the fight. The devil's smile is crooked as mine is cooked.
The devil snickers and I falter. I know this game has been won. I fought and lost and now I've gone and sold my soul, I worthy price for the spice of this game of card with the devil.
This World We See
The flowers I smell, such a wonderful quell.
then i hear the bell, its time to spell.
for school is this world we see.
the people fold their books bold.
The chatter of inspired words,
as for the bird, it flies free, as we are stuck to squeeze,
out all our thoughts unto paper, for we test for our luck and for our future.
The flowers I smell, such a lovely spell, that this world has put upon me. The bell toils and I know of my plans to foil. The business company truly inspired.
I love this world, this world we see. for it is who I am, and what I see.
World Alight
This world it burns, this world it shines, with the brightness of a a thousand suns. the world alight, the people filled with spite.
Our poor world, is aflame.
We run, we scream, we kick and shout. this world we knew. is just about,
to be like fire, alive and free.
and we will forever grieve.
This place it burns our hearts they die.
The world became black like night, and nothing glowed,
except, for the world alight.
Wintry Snows
The snow was cold and white, people spirits were truly bright.
All the children dreaded the night. for it would end their beautiful snow-ball fight.
people laughed and talked as they walked,
along the wintry snow covered land.
They talked of snow and all alike, they talked of flight, and of recent spite.
The children they played and the parents remained.
Until the wintry snow blew into them fright.
with the moon coming and the people running.
all the parents slowly lacking, in helping children running and laughing.
The snow it came and washed away,
all the carving that were made.
And the children all piled in cars,
the parents drove away, for the fun has passed.
The snow to blame.
