This is actually a merging of two poems that I wrote years ago dedicated to Applejack, and the Apple family too I suppose. Each of the poems combined don't make the 1,000 word limit so I had to add extra verses. There is a clear narrative element contained within the poem, featuring characters from MLP:FiM, so I thought i'd try uploading it here. I don't get much feedback for my art, and doubly so for my writings, so I wanted to get my poetry out there

Applejack is a very important character to me, and it seems as though her virtues are easily glossed over. I felt that I had to play my part to show the fandom how wonderful she really is. She's a friend, a sister, a granddaughter, a carer, a cook, a farmer, a sales pony, and a beautiful, honest soul. Applejack is the loyalest of friends, and the most dependable of ponies.

So today I decided to make a fimfiction account and post this new and improved composite poem as my first story.
