When everybody's favorite equine DJ Vinyl Scratch is enraged by how some action-fantasy TV series kills off all of the most attractive male leads, she decides to fix it up by writing a fanfic about it; and adds miniguns, robots and super-suits, just because. Turns out, though, that fanfic writing isn't the easiest thing she's tried her hoof at.

It's a good thing, then, that her roommate and close friend Octavia is around to give her a pointer or two. Who knows, she might even end up finishing the thing.
