In a distant land, Princess Exuvia, younger sibling of Queen Chrysalis, has caught word of her sister's defeat. To make matters worse, the beloved Queen is nowhere to be found, leaving Princess Exuvia in charge of their subjects despite her age.

Heartbroken and furious, the young princess struggles to mend her grieving wounds, while also going to great lengths to repay the ponies for their actions. Leaving alone to try to locate her sister's whereabouts in Equestria, Princess Exuvia also strikes back with confidence, and despite the odds being stacked against her, she knows with all her heart, she wouldn't have it any other way. But against such an enemy, perhaps it does not matter.
