My Little Diva
Chapter 1 "What's in that hole?"
Load Full Story"Grayson!" Jane said with a big smile as she opened the door to find him standing there with a bouquet of flowers.
"Jane!" He replied with with a smile just as big as he hugged her, surprising Jane a little. "Oh, these are for you and Stacy." He said as he handed her the flowers and walked into the apartment. "The local florist just had most of her flowers bloom." He explained as he sat down on the couch next to Stacy.
"Awesome..." Jane said with a little less enthusiasm as she placed them in a vase next to the front door.
"Don't you like them?" He asked as he grabbed a wine cup and filled it up.
"Love it... Just that.." She sniffled a little before grabbing a wine cup too and sitting in one of the chairs. "This new body is allergic to pollen." She said with a sigh.
"New body?"
"Nothing!" She stated with wide eyes, luckily, Grayson didn't see those eyes because he was grabbing a cheese curd from the plate.
"Anyways..." Stacy said with growing wide eyes, glaring at Jane. "How's work?" She said as she grabbed a piece of popcorn.
"Great." Jane said awkwardly while grabbing a bowl.
"Awesome, but why do you care?" Grayson asked with a very fake smile.
"Well.. That's good.. And no reason at all..." She replied with the same awkwardness. "Umm.. Oh yes! Jane and I just got brand new chairs for our small little deck!" She said with another glare to Jane, and same wide-eyes as she tried to start up a conversation.
"Really? Where did you get them?" Grayson asked as he grabbed a bowl and filled it with cheese-curds.
"Pier 1. I just love their furniture!" Jane said as she took a sip from her wine.
"Deb did too." He said with a little sadness in his voice.
"I know. She had great taste in furnishings. Especially bedrooms." Stacy said with a grin before getting a glare from Jane to silence the topic.
"Anyways.. Do you want to see them? We can move our little party out there, if you want." Stacy said as she grabbed her food and wine glass.
"Sure." He replied as he did the same.
"Great!" Jane said as she walked out the door with them.
"Nice chairs."
"I know right!?" Stacy said dramatically.
Ok.... This is boring. Jane thought to herself while trying to figure out something for them to do to make it less dull.
"I know!" She said out loud before blushing and sinking into her chair.
"What?" Her bestie replied with a question, obviously hating how boring it was too.
"We can play a board game!"
"A game you play when you're bored!" Stacy laughed happily.
"But, I'm not bored." Grayson said before plopping another cheese curd into his mouth.
"Grayson, why don't you like playing kid games? They are actually really fun." Stacy asked as she checked under the coffee table for monopoly.
"But.. Isn't it even a little boring?"
"Not at all." Jane said as she helped Stacy look in the outdoor bookcase.
"Know what? I guess I could play it... But I have to warn you.." He said before helping them put it on the coffee table. ".. I was kind of the expert of m-"
"Expert of monopoly when you were 12."
"How'd you know? I don't remember tel-"
"Lucky guess." Jane stammered.
"Ha! I got Boardwalk! Beat that!" Grayson said with a smile before grabbing the card and giving his money to Jane, who was the bank.
"Not so fast, I got Parkplace still!" Jane said with a smile bigger than his and wagged her card in the air.
"Well, I got... Ummm.. St. James place!" Stacy said with a smile.
"Umm.. Stacy?"
"Yes, Jane?"
"That's not one of the two highest paid places!" Jane said before giving a high-five to Grayson.
"So, I lose?" Stacy asked with a frown.
"No, you're still in. But not for long!" Grayson said with a smirk.
"Well, I'll see about that!" Stacy said with a re-growing grin.
"Wait.. What's that?" Jane asked as she looked behind her and poked Stacy and Grayson to get there attention.
"It looks like.. a hole?" Grayson went up to the hole with the other 2 behind him.
"Wha... AHH!" They all screamed as they got sucked into the creepy hole.
"Thanks for helpin' me out, sugarcube!" Applejack said happily as she walked down the dirt path with baskets tied to her sides with Twilight.
"No problem, especially if it means I can have one of those juicy apples..." Twilight drooled and licked her lips at the apples.
"Heh, go ahead." AJ chucked as she bounced the baskets and a apple went into the air, and Twilight caught it in her pink aura.
"Nice catch, Twi."
"Thanks." She blushed.
Suddenly, a huge explosion went off a couple miles away, Twilight and AJ blinked and coughed in the dirt dust it made.
"Quick! Go grab the others! I will go get the Elements! Meet over there immediately!" Twilight screamed to Applejack. AJ nodded before running off to go grab the other bearers.
Whatever that explosion was, it can't be good. Twilight thought to herself as she ran towards the library.
