Some go rogue to support their families, others to support the nation.
A 'hunter' is an outlaw, simply. Hunters stray into off-limits areas and poach beings that by all laws of nature shouldn't exist in the first place. It's deadly, it's illegal, and for two ponies put into power in an attempt to stabilize a country near death, it's absolutely necessary.

I have to say, it's been a blast building this world with these characters, even if it has been almost three years on and off. This is a hard ship, so by throwing the characters into an awful situation, I found a little room to move and I think it served me well.
