Rainbow's point of view
Rainbow dash was flying to her house in the clouds. When she got inside her house she got a call from Pinkie Pie. ~on the phone~
"Hey Pinkie what's up?"Rainbow asked.
"I'm having a party tonight do you want to come?"Pinkie asked.
"Heck yeah I want to come to you party!"Rainbow dash said with cheery voice.
"Great! See you there!"Pinkie said as she hung up the the phone. ~off the phone~
This is going is going to be so awesome!Rainbow squealed in her head.
~The following night~ Rainbow dash was trotting over to Sugar Cube Corner as she was walking there she saw lots of lights flashing.~Inside Sugar Cube Corner~ Rainbow dash was in awe at what she saw.Wow Pinkie went all out this timeRainbow dash thought.
"Hey Rainbow dash over here!"a voice yelled. Rainbow dash turned around to see Princess Twilight waving her over. Rainbow dash walked over to her.Why do every time Twilight talks to me I get nervous? I can't- no it is not possible! Rainbow thought.
"Um... Rainbow are you blushing?"Twilight asked.
"N-No! It is just hot in here you know"Rainbow shakily said.
"Alright then, so how you been doing Rainbow?"Twilight asked.
"Well I passed the wonder bolts exam"Rainbow said.
"I'm so happy for you Rainbow!"Twilight squealed.
"Thanks, so how is being royalty going Twilight?"Rainbow asked.
"It is kind of hard being the new princess I have to do a lot of things"Twilight said.
"I think you are great princess just keep working hard as you can"Rainbow dash said.
"Thanks for the support Rainbow"Twilight said.
"Any time Twilight"Rainbow said. Twilight glanced at the clock.
"Oh no! I am going to be late to an important meeting sorry i have to go Rainbow!"Twilight said as she ran out of Sugar Cube Corner.
"Bye Twilight!"Rainbow yelled to her.
Just then a chorus giggling came from behind her she turned around to see her friends smiling.
"I think someone likes Twilight."Rarity said.
"No I do not!"Rainbow denied.
"Ah not be an expert on love,but I saw ya blushing when Twilight called you"Applejack said.
"I-I was caught by surprise".Rainbow shakily said.
"That you like her"Pinkie said.
"For the last time I do not like Twilight!"Rainbow barked.
"Calm down Rainbow."Rarity said.
"Sorry for yelling it is just i never liked someone so much that i can't think"Rainbow said.
"It's okay we will help you tell Twilight."Pinkie said.
"I can do this myself."Rainbow said.
"Are ya sure"?Applejack asked.
"Yes."Rainbow said.
"Let us know what she says."Pinkie said.
"Okay"Rainbow said as she exited sugar cube corner flew back home.
~Next day~
Rainbow dash woke in her cloud bed. She got out of it and looked in the mirror.I guess I could brush it.Rainbow thought. Rainbow put a couple of brushes through her mane.Rainbow flew over to golden oaks library.She knocked on the door.
"Who is it?"Spike asked.
"Rainbow dash"Rainbow said. Spike opened the door.
"So what brings you to the library Dash?"Spike asked.
"Well I am here to see Twilight".Rainbow said.
"Twilight! Rainbow is here to see you!"Spike yelled.
"May I come in?"Rainbow asked.
"Sure you can you are always welcome!"Spike said.
Rainbow walked in sat down on the sofa then Twilight came down the stairs and sat on the sofa with her.
"Oh hello Rainbow so what do you need?"Twilight asked.
"I need to talk to you... alone."Rainbow said.
"Spike go upstairs".Twilight said.
"But why?"Spike asked.
"Rainbow and I would like to talk alone."Twilight said.
"Fine."Spike said as he went upstairs.
"So what do you want to talk about Rainbow?"Twilight asked.
"Um... I need to ask you something."Rainbow said.
"Go ahead dash."Twilight said.
"What would you think if your best friend really liked you...like love.?"Rainbow asked.
"I... would say i love you too Rainbow".Twilight said.
"you knew?"Rainbow asked.
"yes I did I also i liked you a lot."Twilight said.
Rainbow leaned over and gave Twilight a kiss.
"How about I take you on a date?"Rainbow asked.
"I would love to go on a date with you."Twilight said.~outside~ Their friends were looking inside awing.
Rainbow dash was trotting over to Sweet Apple Acres to see her friend Applejack. Applejack was bucking apple trees but stopped when she saw Rainbow dash.
" Hey Rainbow can I help you?" Applejack asked.
"I wanted to talk to you about something." Rainbow dash said.
" Well go on ahead." Applejack said.
"I was thinking about... proposing to Twilight." Rainbow dash said. Applejack's dropped to the ground instantly.
"Y-You're going to propose to Twilight?"Applejack asked.
"Yes I think I'm ready to." Rainbow said. Just then a pink flash zipped by them.
"Pinkie pie?"Rainbow dash asked.
"WE NEED TO GO TO GOLDEN OAKS LIBRARY NOW!!!!"Pinkie yelled.
Rainbow dash looked over the horizon to see Golden Oaks Library on fire. Rainbow dash started to fly as fast she could to get to the library as fast as she could, while Pinkie and Applejack galloped. When they got to the library Rainbow dash ran inside the library to look for Twilight. Wood was falling every where.
"Twilight!"Rainbow yelled.
"Rainbow D-dash over here!"Twilight coughed. Rainbow dash saw Twilight with a coughing Spike in her hooves. Rainbow dash grabbed them and pulled them out the house before it came crashing down.
"Are you guys OK?" Applejack asked.
"yeah."Twilight said.
"What happened?"Rainbow dash asked.
"Well I was working on my breath of fire when it got under control Twilight came downstairs to see the library on fire, We could not get out in time."Spike said.
"Good thing Pinkie told us."Rainbow dash said.
"My Pinkie sense told me." Pinkie said.
"Well now i don't have a place to live"Twilight said.
"Can't you stay a the castle?"Pinkie asked.
"I am going to ask Princess Tia if I can"Twilight said.
"Wait."Rainbow said.
"What?" Twilight asked.
"You can stay with me I have five bedrooms there is plenty of room."Rainbow insisted.
" Thank you Rainbow dash." Twilight said.
"It's totally not gong to be awkward that you two are going out and living together."Pinkie said. Rainbow dash was blushing when she said that. " Maybe it is going to be an awkward situation but i am still going to propose to her.Rainbow dash thought.
~Rainbow dash's house~
I can't believe Twilight felt the same way and now this date is going to be perfectRainbow dash looked through her closet and found her favorite necklace. Rainbow put on the necklace and walked out the door.
~Golden Oaks Library~
"What am I going to wear?!...Spike!!"Twilight yelled.
"What?"Spike asked.
"We have an emergency and you are not helping me!!!"Twilight yelled.
"What is the emergency?"Spike asked.
"I don't know what to wear for the date."Twilight said.
"That is it that is why you are freaking out just calm down"Spike said.
"YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN HOW CAN I CALM DOWN WITH MY RELATIONSHIP WITH RAINBOW IS ON THE LINE?!"Twilight yelled.
"Why don't you just wear the necklace that Rainbow bought you for your birthday last year before she told that she liked you."Spike suggested.
"That is a great idea Spike!"Twilight squealed.Twilight put on the necklace and transported out the library.
~Le Romance restaurant~
Rainbow dash walked around looking for Twilight.
"Rainbow dash!"Twilight yelled.
"Hey Twilight ... you wore the necklace?"Rainbow asked.
"Yeah , Spike said that i should wear it."Twilight said.
"You want to go in?"Rainbow dash asked.
"Yeah"Twilight said.
~Inside Le Romance Restaurant~
Twilight and Rainbow were walking into the restaurant and went to their tables. They sat down and waited for the waitress.The waitress came to take their orders.
"Welcome to Le Romance...Princess Twilight Sparkle?!"the waitress gasped.
"Hello"Twilight said.
"We would like two hay salads."Rainbow dash said.
"Okay we will make your order special."the waitress said as she bowed and trotted away.
"Sorry about that."Twilight said.
"What is their to sorry about you are getting special treatment by my standard that is awesome."Rainbow dash said. just then a stallion slips on some water with a cup of water in his hoof and the water spills on Twilight wetting her bangs.
"ouch!"The stallion says as he falls.
"Well that was refreshing"Twilight says with sarcasm.
"I'm so sorry princess I slipped!"the stallion said.
"It wasn't your fault."Twilight said.
"Well at least the food is here."Rainbow said.
They ate and Rainbow dash left a bag of bits on the table.
~outside~
"Well that was wonderful."Twilight said.
"Sorry about the water."Rainbow dash said.
"I needed it"Twilight said.
"Huh?"Rainbow asked.
"I was so worked about the date that forgot to have fun."Twilight said.
"It was fun".Rainbow said. Twilight gave Rainbow a kiss on the cheek and trotted home. Rainbow dash was blushing and smiling behind her.
