Deep Storm has been elected to be a new Wonder bolt in 2 weeks and he must make it to Canterlot before they elect a new wonder bolt.
Spitfire messaged him saying if he was late she would find him to see if he DID want to be a wonder bolt.
As Deep Storm starts his journey to get to Canterlot early, he meets Rainbow dash and her friends. Rainbow dash insists that he stays for a week and then heads off. Deep Storm agrees and stays with Rainbow dash in her home.
But after a few days, Rainbow dash has feelings for Deep Storm. At the end… Deep Storm will have to answer the hardest question of his life.

Deep Storm

Prologue:

The rain poured down onto Deep storm's hood. He trampled pass the grass and weeds. He was heading to Canterlot and had almost run out of food.

I need to keep going or else I won't make it... He thought weakly.

Suddenly he heard a twig snap. Growls and glowing eyes lit the forest. He panicked and started to run. He looked behind him and saw glowing eyes chasing after him. He flew up and landed onto a branch. Then he felt something furry run pass his hooves. He quickly jumped down and began running for his life. The road started to get bumpy and the rain poured down harder. Suddenly he tripped and landed splat on his face. Then as the sun started to rise, a squirrel was snooping in his saddle and ran off with some nuts.

"Hey! Those are my nuts! Come back here!" he demanded and he got up and flew after it.

Meanwhile, Rainbow dash was flying by when she notice him flying towards a long branch.

"Hey you! Watch out for that--" CRASHH! Too late. He had already smacked into the branch and was out cold.

Rainbow dash flew down and picked up his saddle and lifted him up onto her back.

Deep storm woke up and rubbed his head.

"Owww...! W-Where am I?" he asked as he saw himself in a soft bed. Then a figure came into the room.

"Your in my room." the figure replied.

Deep storm watched as the figure came into the light. The mare had a blue colored body and it had a rainbow mane.

"I'm Rainbow dash, but you can call me RD." Rainbow dash greeted as she flapped out her wings.

Deep storm flew out of the bed. "My name's Deep storm and I'm gonna be a wonder bolt!" he greeted back remarkably.

"REALLY?! Wow! How'd you do it? Can you teach me? Oh PLEASE!" she pleaded loudly.

Suddenly a loud grumble came from Deep storm's stomach.

"Not to be rude but... Can we please go get some grub? I haven't eaten in days. Considering a squirrel took my last morsel." he asked hungrily.

Rainbow dash gave out a chuckle. "Of course we can! Did I mention that I love food?" she replied as she galloped next to her bed.

Deep storm paused for a minute as Rainbow dash fixed her bed.

Huh. She sure sounds like me when it's lunchtime. She's pretty darn cute too if you ask me. He thought as he quickly flew out the door with her.

Later...

"That was delicious!" Deep storm commented as he rubbed his stomach.

"You tell me! I eat here all the time!" she agreed.

"My friends tell me they'll be waiting for me to become a wonder bolt ever since I was little." he told her.

"Speaking of friends... wanna come meet mines?" she asked him cheerfully.

"Um... sure!" he replied politely.

"I knew you'd say that! That's why I told my friends to meet me in one place." she said as she grabbed his hoof and flew to Twilight's Library.

"Here we are!" she announced to him quietly.

"A... LIBRARY?" he quietly asked her.

Suddenly 5 figures came out from the shadows. There were 5 mares. One had a purple body, one with white, one with pink, one with yellow, and one with an light tan.

"Hey guys!" Rainbow dash greeted.

"Howdy Rainbow!" Applejack greeted back.

"Deep storm, I'd like you to meet Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Flutter shy, and Rarity."

"Well hello!" he greeted.

"Really? Your going to be a wonder bolt? That's Rainbow dash's dream!" commented Twilight as she began to measure his wings.

"It takes lots of practice though." Deep storm reminded.

Rarity gave him a cute wink and glanced at his wings.

"My, my! You don't happen to work out don't you?" she asked as she motioned towards him.

"Well I... um...uh... just practice a lot at home." he replied nervously.

"Maybe you could show me some pointers..?" she asked as she leaned in closer.

"Uh..."

Rainbow dash dashed quickly passed Rarity.

"Stop what your doing Rarity! Stop trying to butter him up! Besides... your not even a Pegasus." she reminded Rarity before she got any closer to Deep storm.

Rarity turned her head and gave out a hmp!.

"It's getting dark. You too should get some sleep." Flutter shy said as she pointed her hoof out to the window.

"Hey Deep storm, I know you have to get going now, but could you stay for only a week in ponyville?" Rainbow dash asked.

"Sure thing Rainbow. Canterlot is only a one week walk so 1 week will let me recover for the next week." replied Deep Storm.

Rainbow dash gave a happy grin and the 2 flew back to her house. Rainbow dash poured 2 glasses of warm milk and they gave a toast to being friends.

"Wow. I have never been so happy to go to bed!" remarked Deep storm happily.

"Now I don't want to make your visit awkward so I'll sleep on the couch while you sleep in my room." she said as she placed the cup in the sink.

"No. I'll sleep on the couch, you sleep in your own room." he insisted. And that's how it was.

"Hey Deep storm... Can I ask you something?"

"Sure. What is it?" he asked her.

"Um... Never mind... I forgot." she said and then she walked back into her room.
