"Hey egghead," the voice startled the purple alicorn mare, "Dash! Don't scare me like that!" the mare replied. Giggling, Rainbow Dash waved her hoof and trotted out to the balcony.  Sighing,  Twilight got up and followed.

"Pretty cool place you have here."

"Its nice and all, but I miss my old library"

"But this place is like built to honor your awesomeness! How could you not love it?"

"Oh come on Dash, you know I dont care about that."

"I know," defeated, the cyan mare sighed.

Twilight shifted her gaze up to the night sky.  It was the perfect summer night, the air was warm, the moon was full, the stars were bright, and a cool breeze was flowing through the air. Noticing this, Twilight couldn't help but sigh.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

"What? Oh. It just feels like summer never lasts long enough."

"Yeah well... You know what? Let's race."

"Dasshhiiee you know I don't fly very fast!"

"I'll go easy on you."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"Alright, fine. Where to?"

"Sweet Apple Acres."

"Why there?"

"The clubhouse."

"What?"

"You know, the CMCs hangout?"

"I know that, but what about it?"

"You'll see."

With that the two mares lifted their wings and acsended into the night sky. True to her word, Rainbow Dash slowed her pace down so that Twilight could keep up. They soared under the moonlight laughing and giggling like foals until they reached the destination. Twilight landed on the ground before her partner, but before she could look the cyan blue mare tackled her and pinned her down.

"Gotcha!"

"Hey!"

"You make this too easy, you know?"

"Dashie. Get off!"

Rainbow Dash complied, trying to contain her laughter. Twilight was doing her best to remain serious, but a grin crept across her face. "I love you," she said after a moment, to which Rainbow Dash replied, "I know," sending both of then into laughter.

Suddenly, Twilight got serious.

"What was it you wanted to show me?"

"Oh yeah. That."

Rainbow Dash trotted inside the clubhouse with Twilight right behind her. "Look," she said, indicating a pile of crumpled papers. Figuring she should read the papers, Twilight used her magic to uncrumple them. Most of the papers were what she expected, failed plans to get their marks, but one cought her attention. It was a quick, scribbled note that read, "What's up with the two of you? Y'all seem like you're hidin' something and ah don't like it." Twilight guessed this was from Applebloom,  who had the odd tendancy to translate her accent onto paper.

Rainbow Dash spoke first; "So what do you think?"

"Well, it's certainly odd..."

"Yea. What do we do?"

Twilight levetated the letter. "Well, for starters we should keep this. Maybe we should meet with Applejack and Rarity tommorow and see if they know anything."

Rainbow Dash thought this over, "Okay, but when?"

"Tommorow."

"Okay."

"At noon, my place."

"Got it."

"You let Applejack know, I'll tell Rarity."

"Okay."

Glancing up at the sky, Twilght noted it was close to dawn. Yawning, she decided it was time to go sleep.

"See you tommorow, I gotta go."

"Alright egghead."

With that each mare left to go to their homes and get a few hours of sleep before the next day began.

At 8 o'clock in the morning Twilight woke up. As usual, Spike was still asleep. Twilight shook him gently.

"Huh. Wha-" the dragon shouted as he was awoken.

"We have guests coming over at noon."

"Guests? Who exactlty?"

"AJ and Rarity."

"Raritys coming over?"

"Yes. I need you to prepare snacks."

"Alright, alright I will."

Twilight just shook her head at her assistants grumpy attitude and set off for Carusel Boutique. Upon arrival, she found Rarity reading Fancy Foals Magezine.

"Slow day?" Twilight asked.

Looking up, Rarity answered, "I'm afraid so. What can I do for you this fine day?"

"I'd appreciate it if you meet me at my libra-err, palace at noon today."

"Sure, but may I ask wh-"

"I'll explain later. I have to go." She rushed out the door twords Sweet Apple Acres. "Well that was odd," Rarity thought to herself before going back to reading Fancy Foals.

Rainbow Dash swooped down to the farm. It was earlier than she liked to get up, but she had to find Applejack. after dashing around the acres for a bit, she found who she was looking for.

"Hey AJ!"

"Hello Rainbow Dash. Ah wasn't expecting you here today."

"I know. I came to ask you to meet us later at-"

"Look, ah would love to hang out today, but the farm is busy."

"I know that AJ, but this isn't hanging out."

"Is Eqestria in danger?"

"No, but-"

"Then ah'm busy."

"Just hear me out."

"What the buck is so important it can't wait 5 minuits!?!"

"Its about Applebloom and-"

Before she could finish her sentence she got tackled by a purple blur that shouted, "APPLEJACK, MY PLACE, NOON. DASH, COME WITH ME NOW." Rainbow Dash shot a look at AJ before flying off with Twilight. The farm really was busy preparing for the Apple Family Reunion, but hearing Appleblooms name in this made her curious, so Applejack decided she would go.

Flying though the air, the two eventualy settled on a cloud. Finally, Rainbow Dash spoke up.

"What was that about?"

Twilight looked embassed, "Sorry, its stupid anyway."

"Its okay, you can tell me."

"Well its just-I I kind of was wondering if... do you want to, maybe move in with me?"

"Twilight yes. I do, but we need an excuse."

"Say Derpy dropped a piano through your house."

"That wouldn't be fair to her."

"Well umm..."

"Don't tell me that actually happened."

"Yea..."

Rainbow Dash did a facehoof. "Alright then."

Twilight smiled.
