friendship is war

'Okay i'm ready to do this, I can do this, I can do this' Spike thought, being his first day at Fort Canterlot Spike was really nerves and existed to meet his new fire time named 'friendship'. Spike took a few short breathes before he walked into the barracks, when he walked into the barracks every thing seemed normal tell a boot came out of no were and hit him on his head.

"oh, ah sorry about that, oh and hi, my name is Derpy by the way" said a feminine voice coming for above him, when Spike looked up he saw one of his squad members flying over him and doing nothing he could see in particular except failing at putting on her boots.

"Its okay and i'm Spike" Spike said looking around at the rest of his new squad, on one bunk there was a cyan pegasus playing a game of cards with an orange earth pony and by the looks of it the orange earth pony was winning. On anther bunk there is a lavender unicorn, a pink earth pony and a yellow pegasus all talking about something he didn't want to know. and on the final bottom bunk was a unicorn, sowing a scarf, why she did that he didn't care. After looking over the barracks he spotted one bunk that he hopped no one had and walked over to it. When he got over there the lavender one finally noticed Spike's arrival and walked up to him.

"Hi there" said the lavender mare which in response got Spike to jump a couple feet in the air.

Spike waited dor a seconds be for responding "H-Hi"came a voice from Spike which was still a little shakey from the jump scare. Spike turned around to formally great who ever was standing behind him "Hi i'm pvt. Spike, the new squad member" Spike said with a smile

"Well it's nice to meet you Spike i'm Twilight and that's Applejack" twilight said while pointing to the orange mare who only gave a small 'hi' in return, trying not to lose her focuses on the card game. "The pony shes playing cards with is Rainbow Dash or more commonly know as RD. This is Fluttershy" Twilight said as she pointed at the yellow mare who hide behind her hair "this is Pinkie...?" twilight said before Spike was pounced on from behind.

"Hiimpinkiepiewahtsyournameitsnicetomeetyouhaveiseenyoubeforehiimpinkiepie" Pinkie said in her upbeat voice as twilight watched trying to hold back her laughter as her new squad member got barraged with questions from pinkie.

A few minutes later Twilight decided to help rather than just let him struggle under pinkie"Okay Pinkie I think Spike has had enough of your questions for now." twilight said as she tried to help get Spike out from underneath Pinkie

"Okey dokie loky" said Pinkie as she got off spike and back onto the bunk

        "You know, you could have helped me earlier than you did."said Spike mildly pissed off

      "Yeah I know, but that was hilarious" said Twilight still trying to hold back a chuckle

"And Rarity" said Twilight as she pointed at the white unicorn

"oh I simply must get this scarf done" Rarity said in a grunt

"And i'm guessing you met Derpy?" Twilight said

"yep, she seems really nice" Spike said

"Great! I got to get back to talking to the girls so if you need any help just ask any of us, okay?" Twilight said

"Okay" Spike said in a smile "I'll be sure to ask if I need help."

       'Im gonna like it here' Spike thought as he started to get settled in to his new living arrangements.  After geting setteld in Spike finally got to look at the barracks for what it was, nothing to much, just some bunks and a wall of pictures?

      "NOO, I lost to you agen!" Said RD as she was mopping over the card game she lost agen.

     Spike took this opportunity to talk to Applejack and ask about the wall of pictures,  "hey um, Applejack is it?" Spike asked trying to get the orange mares attention.

     "Howdy partner, what do ya' need?" Applejack asked in a kind tone.

    "I was wondering about the wall of pictures over there, what are they for?" Spike asked.

   "Oh, well there all the pictures of our old squad mates." Applejack said in a sad tone

   Spike wasn't picking up on the sad tone and asked anther question "What happend to them?"

   "They got killed." Chimed in Rainbow dash.

   "Oh" spike said in a now saddened tone.

   Untell night fall Spike kept quiet and thought about what he did. 'Why do they keep memory's of the ponys theve lost? And why did I have to ask that question!?' As Spike pondered over the thought, he didn't notice the girls all moveing behind him tell it was to late, and just like that a bucket of ice cold water was pored onto spike. Spike yelp in suprise and much to his dismay everyone else was laughing.

   "C-c-can y-you p-p-please n-not do t-that agen?" Spike asked while his teeth shock and his body shivered

  "I-if you dont mind me asking, why dont you want us to not do it agen?" Twilight asked while holding back a luagh

   "W-well I -in case y-you have forgotten im c-cold  blooded because im a dragon and you got my bed wet!" Spike said while the other broke into an even bigger fit of laughter.

   "Im going to bed you guys have your fun I shall find I way to exact my revenge!" Spike said befor quickly dosing off to dream land
