Introduction

Once upon a time there was a magical world called Equestria. In Equestria there lived many different magical races like zebras, changelings,griffons and of course ponies. Equestria had an long and bloody history filled with hatred. Since the dawn of time different races had waged war with them self but also against each other. Then a time came when the biggest of all the races, the ponies formed empires. Ponies gathered under banners to wage war against each other. The empires where built upon destruction and slavery. Each empire wanted to be the biggest and the strongest. The griffons took after the ponies and made their own empire.

This led to a completely new industry, where giant guns designed to kill thousands where the product. Empires created alliances to ensure their survival against the enemy. Everyone felt threatened by their neighbors and blamed each other for their problems .

A small spark struck in the form of regicide erupted in a monstrous war between the Griffon Kingdom and Crystal Germaneigh. When a young stallion from Serbimane shot the prince of Crystal Germaniegh, the crystal ponies invaded Serbimane and it's neighboring countries. Then the Northcolt Empire of Stalliongrad came to the aid of Serbimane, backed by the griffons that hated the crystal ponies more than anything. Then the unicorns of Trottingham came to the aid of the griffons. Together these nations formed the Talon Powers. The Ottomane Empire formed the Crystal Union together with the crystal ponies. The Pegasi of Cloudsdale where first a part of the Crystal Union but then they betrayed them and joined the Talon Powers. All of Equestria's pony nations choose a side in the war.

At first it looked like Crystal Germaneigh was winning, because of their superior technology. They had Flamethrowers, mighty submarines and gas bombs. They assaulted their enemies with no mercy and ultimately crushed the Northcolt Empire. But then the Lunar Republic joined the Talon Powers. Faced with superior numbers the Crystal Union where forced to surrender. When the Crystal ponies lost many said that the age of war was over, but the victorious Griffons wanted the Crystal ponies to pay extreme amounts of bits as a fine for the destruction caused in their homeland.

As an aftermath of the war the Crystal ponies where humiliated and broke. In Equestria many of the empires crumbled and fell as an new age was dawning. But in the far northeast a new nation rose from the ashes of the Northcolt Empire. Led by an mysterious Alicorn named Celestia they quickly rose to become a superpower. Also Serbimane joined with their neighbors and created the nation of Juggomaneia.

In Crystal Germaneigh depression and crisis ruled. It was in the middle of all this as a young unicorn named Sombra rose to power. He promised the Crystal ponies an brighter future and gave them someone to blame all their misery upon. But Sombra was a madcolt and wanted to rule all of Equestria for himself.

Crystal Germaneigh became the Crystal Empire under Sombras hoof and they where not subtle in their wish of revenge on the griffons. They once again began with the creation of new even worse weapons. Although the mobilization of the Crystal Ponies the other nations of Equestria did not interfere.

When the Crystal Empire invaded Griffon Lands they where such a powerful force that yet again all of Equestria went into the conflict.

If the first war was horrible then this where an abomination. Death camps burning and gassing ponies to death by the millions, magical devices with the ability to destroy whole cities in seconds where deployed. Although Sombra lost the war Equestria would never be the same.

Seeing all destruction and death made ponies realize what was important but was it to late?

One stallion saw the opportunity to fix it all.. He went back into time to stop the war before it even began.

Prologue

Prologue: I just don´t know what went wrong.

Location: Appleloosan Desert, Dr Whooves secret lab.

"Hows the readings Derpy?"

"All normal Dr."

"Great." The brown stallion gave out a long breath and looked over at grey Pegasus. His heart started beating even faster. He loved her by all his hearth. She looked back to him with her crossed eyes and smiled. "You ready?" she asked.

"Yes, let´s do this." He walked over to the platform and stood there. Then he was surrounded by blue light and all went went white for him. A big "schwoosh" sound and then he was gone.

"Schwoosh."

"That was unsettling"he said to himself. He looked over the place he had come to. He saw beautiful gardens in front of a big crystal castle. In the air you heard the singing of birds of all kinds. "Crystal Germaneighs parliament a year before Sombra´s rise to power. Now all i have to do is find Sombra."

A black unicorn with a strange red horn and red eyes came walking towards him. He wore a brown suit. "Mr Sombra?"

"Yes what is it?I don´t have time for this!"The unicorn answered very annoyed.

"Oh i know, i know." The Doctor smiled and walked forward to him and reached out his hoof in an hoofshake. The unicorn returned the shake and immediately he started to turn into little blue pixels. The Doctor felt the same blue light surround him and with a "schwoosh" he was gone as quick as he had come.

"Schwoosh."

"Yay Doctor Whooves." The grey Pegasus met him with the cutest smile and embraced him with a giant hug. He was back in his lab and all looked normal. "We have saved the world."

"I´ts to early to celebrate yet Derpy, first we must look at all the readings and.."

"I did Dr, I did, and all is fine." Although Derpy´s enthusiasm The Doctor felt somehow that something was strangely wrong.

"Turn on the TV Derpy."

"Okay Dr." She picked up the remote and with a "Bzzt" a orange unicorn with a white short mane appeared on the screen.

She spoke in an cold and professional voice. "Today we return to Lunar News Network with breaking news. I'm your host Peach Cream. It seems that Celestia has ignored the pleas of the Crystal Alliance and has moved her Army even closer to their border." On screen appeared thousands of tanks and soldiers marching. You could see the extreme discipline the soldiers had while they where marching. All around them you saw a red flag with a burning sun upon.

The unicorn returned to screen."In an daring move a special Celestian task force moved into the nation of Juggomaneia and together with an Celestian supportive rebel faction they quickly captured the government and took control of the whole nation. The famous electricity inventor Trixie Lulamoon lives in the capital and it´s rumored that she is captured and is to be brought to Celestia herself. To what end is currently unknown. In response to this princess Cadance Leader of the Crystal Alliance called out to the other nations for help. We will now play the speech she held earlier this morning."

An pink Alicorn in a green suit appeared on the screen. Around her stood crystal ponies with green uniforms and a pike on top of their helmets. They held long rifles with bayonets on in their hooves. All around them you could see a green flag with a crystal flower on. Dr Whooves remembered the pink Alicorn from the second great war. She was the leader of the Crystal flowers, the only crystal ponies that stood against Sombra´s slaughter. They all ended in the gas chambers of a death camp.

The Alicorn spoke in a sad and serious voice. "The Crystal Alliance calls out to their friends and allies across Equestria for help in these dark times. A mighty threat against all of us is massing beyond these borders. It breaks my heart to say that it will come to armed conflict and only together, united as one can we stand against the coming darkness. We going to have to act if we want to live in a different world!"

The unicorn reappeared and spoke "In response to Cadance´s speech the Griffon President immediately gave his support and said that all of the Griffon Kingdom supports their crystal friends. Also the Cloudsdale council gave their full support and said that all of their generals will be dispatched to aid the crystal ponies. This surprised many because of the threats made to Cloudsdale the past month. The threats came from organization called the Wonderbolts. Unknown who they really are, but many believes them to be some sort of Celestian supportive Pegasus group from the first war. The response from Princess Luna is still to be announced. When our reporters asked her royal secretary he only said that the crystal ponies will not be alone in their fight. What this really means is a mystery. Will we send our aid or will we leave our fellow ponies hanging?"

"Bzzt"

The screen went dark. So was Dr Whooves mind. What had he done. He had seen and heard the coming doom of Equestria. He wanted to stop a war from ever happening and by doing so he created something even worse. The weapons he had seen where even worse than those that had been used in the war against Sombra. What had happened, the Solar Empire had worked together with the Lunar Republic to save Equestria not wage war against each other.

"What have we done..."

"I just don´t know what went wrong"Derpy replied."

Location: Solar Empire, Helios City,Celestia´s palace.

The guards walked in perfect pace with each other. Walking on the cold marble floor as one. Their faces where as cold and plain as the marble itself. This really amazed Trixie. Such discipline and order was unlike anything she had ever witnessed before. But then again all of Helios City was an unique sight.

She had been here before when she was just a filly but that was before the great war when the city was still called Stalliongrad. Before Celestia. She remembered how this place had looked back then, a whole city made of dirty slums with people living in agony on the muddy streets.

She could see it before her like she was there right now. It was not strange actually with her amazing mind she could remember anything. She did also remember one huge palace in the middle of the city. That used to amuse her one pony in power above all else, living in luxury while others where suffering.

It´s really the same now except that Celestia rules instead of that old emperor. Celestia came to the people when they needed her the most. She and her elite guard, what where they called now.. Oh yes the Wonderbolts. They came in the middle of the war and overthrew the emperor with the aid of the people. They did it in the nick of time to because the crystal army where not far away from the capital. Just a day march away from the capital the crystal army gets orders to turn back, the Northcolt empire was no more and now a New Solar Empire existed in it´s place.

Trixie remembered that this place used to be in one heck of a blizzard, but that changed with Celestia. She melted the giant glaciers north of Helios City and had her Wonderbolts clear the sky. That was something that had changed all of Equestria. What once was a single continent where now separated by seas and lakes.

The other nations where not happy about it, it was after all their lands that got flooded. But Celestia did not care. By melting the ice she had found giant gold and gem mines. She also found a huge source of coal.

That would explain why the Solar Empire could become such a superpower in just a year. The people prospered and even though much had been flooded the other nations could see the good behind Celestia´s plan. Oh how wrong they could have been. Not long after, Celestia started to ignore all the other nations and annex neighboring countries. She had a majority of the citizens of these countries sent into military camps or factories and there they would become the foundations of her grand army. Then all of a sudden everything changed inside the Solar Empire. New laws that made you join the army or navy if you wanted any chance to make a living. All of the cities turned into giant war factories.

Except Helios City. Here all the elites of the military lived in luxury. Houses made of gold and gems reflecting the sunshine and everywhere you saw Celestia´s royal banner: a burning golden sun on a field of red. Where the old emperor´s palace had once been, stood now a castle she thought very much looked like the castle in Canterlot.

Trixie did really know everything about everypony. That made smile. She must look like an idiot smiling while being escorted to whatever fate awaited her. They would probably have her executed for spying on their secret files. It was not as if anypony else really new anything about The Solar Empire. They hid their secrets well, well enough for Luna´s best spies, but not well enough for Trixie. She was really great and powerful. Nopony could hide anything from her.

They walked past the stairs that led down to the lower levels of the castle.

"Huh, are you not taking Trixie to the dungeons?"

No reply. Of course what would she expect. After a whole train ride from Juggomaneia to here they ignored her great and powerful voice, so why would they listen now.

They came in front of two huge doors. They where made of gold decorated with red velvet inlaid with all sorts of gems. The gems formed Celestia under a raising sun. Her horn pointed in an direction as if she was raising the sun herself. Ha if Trixie couldn't raise the sun then why should an Alicorn be able to do it. They already have wings they shouldn't be able to have better magic than her too. She had always hated Alicorns, they always fought they where better than anypony else.

Two other unicorn guards stood by the two giant doors. Their horns glowed and the doors swung open.

"ENTER."The guard next to her said. Upon closer inspection these guards really had grand outfits. A long red coat with golden details. Under it were a black armor that somehow shone with fiery light. On the head was a red cap with a golden sun on. The unicorn´s horn came out in the center of the sun. Celestia was not stupid, all guards where unicorns, nopony handled a gun like a trained unicorn.

She had no desire to invoke anger on the guards so she entered without resistance.

Before her was a throne room, a really big throne room with glass windows on each side. She spotted colored glass on two of the windows. One of them represented Celestia and some Pegasi in front of a burning ruin surrounded by a crowd of cheering ponies, and the other showed Celestia shooting a beam of fire on a giant ice wall.

"Beautiful are they don't you think?"

"Huh?"Trixie saw beside her a very tall white Alicorn with a pink flowing mane, she had a crown and armor made of the shiniest gold inlaid with amethysts. This must be princess Celestia.

"These are the great historical events of the Solar Empire. I plan on every window being colored after i'm done with my plans."

She smiled a very warm smile and somehow when she spoke Trixie felt safe and warm. She did not like it one bit. "And what are your plans?" She asked right after.

"Don't you already know that great and spying Trixie?"

"Hehe i can explain.."

"I don't want your excuses I want YOU!"

O buck. Trixie really had done it this time. Celestia wanted her powerful brain for herself.

"Me?"

"Yes you my child. You look like i was going to eat you. Trust me you got nothing to fear. I am building a new world Trixie and i want you to be a part of it."

"You want Trixie?"

"Yes, for all your boasting you actually have a point. You are great and powerful. Your inventions may only be small and weak but I see great potential in them. With the right resources they can become the most destructive of weapons. Take your trivial Trixie Coil for example. It is only good for transform power but if you would increase the power output and then discharge it...

"It would fry anypony into ash."Trixie had thought of the idea herself but when she told the government back home they just gave her a warning that experiments like that would result in her lab shut down and she loosing her job. But now she had a chance to show everypony her full potential.

"Why would i wanna help somepony who just conquered my homeland and destroyed my government to take over rest of the world?"

"Haha Trixie don't lie to me, i can see in your eyes that you already going to say yes. But i'm very generous to my friends Trixie so if you where to accept i would give you free access to any kind of experiments you would want to perform and you would have unlimited budget. I will also give you the position as one of my closest advisers and generals."

"Generals?"

"Why yes of course you would gain your very own personal army, and when the world is ours you will rule a big part of it. All I ask in return is that you give me the weapons to conquer Equestria and your complete loyalty. I will even trow in a bonus giving you eternal life."

"ETERNAL LIFE!?"

"Yes isn't that what you always wanted, to be remembered forever? I will give you the opportunity to live forever."

"How?"

"It´s simple really all you have to do is a surgery and your dreams will come true."

"Wait! How do I know you wont kill me and steal my brain?"

"Oh Trixie if I wanted you dead you would've died long ago. You really don't have to worry it's a improvement to your little body. You will be the one and only to experience the exopony robot suit 10000. Some parts of your body will be replaced with robotics and then you will get super strength and eternal life.

"Will it effect my magic?"

"Yes but in a completely positive way. So what do you say I give you everything and you become my top researcher and general. All that will be your if you say yes. But if you decline my offer you will die here today, and nopony will ever remember your name."

"Count me in Princess"

"Then i think it´s time you took a visit to our lab."

"Twilight we must go now!"

But BBBFF I can't now i must.."

"You must come with me now!"

"You do not boss over me Mr!"

"No but Luna does. And she gave us direct order to travel to the Crystal Alliance´s capital."

"Why don't she send the army everypony and griffon else does!"

"I don't know why Twily, I really wish i knew but i don't, she just said that we two where the best she had and you know as much as I that Cadance need our help."

"I know but i'm no soldier."

"But you are the smartest unicorn there is and your mind can surely turn the tide of the coming conflict."

"But I don't want to leave my friends, and certainly not without saying goodbye."

"I understand Twily but I also left my friends behind."

"Please BBBFF just give me a day. Then we will travel to the Crystal Alliance together."

"There maybe wont be a Alliance to travel to tomorrow."

"Don't exaggerate BBBFF."

"Twily i know it´s scary but that's the truth. The Solar Empire is just waiting for the right time to strike, then they will take Crystal Germaneigh in one strike."

"Then why are being sent there?"

"Because we can make a difference! The crystal ponies haven't a single general. Not even one. And you know how little they have put into their war budget since the last war. If anything they have disarmed their armies."

"Well it won't make a difference if I arrive tonight or tomorrow and I will work better if I get to say a proper goodbye to my friends. You travel now and then I will travel tomorrow and then we will meet when I arrive. What do you say BBBFF?"

"What if you get assaulted by a Solar ops team? No I don't think it´s a good idea Twily."

"Look i'm no filly I can defend myself if I have to, and maybe I'l take my friends with me!"

"Twily..."

"WHAT! My friends will surely make a difference too."

"Twily if Luna thought so then.."

"MAYBE IL ASK HER! SPIIIKEEE!?"

"We don't have time for this Twily!"

"Yeah what Twilight?"The little purple dragon came running down from the other floor of the library. "I'm just done packing our stuff."

"Take a letter Spike."

"Now?"

"YES NOW!"

"Okay okay."He brought forth a quill and a paper scroll.

"Dear princess Luna"Twilight began. "I believe as your royal student that if i bring along my friends they will also be a great asset to the war, and to be honest I need them with me. Do I have your permission to bring them along? Your faithful student Twilight Sparkle."

The little dragon breathed a little green spark out from his mouth and soon the scroll was gone. A moment later he gave out a loud burp and another scroll appeared.

"Huzzah, Twilight you never stop surprising me. What an splendid idea. Your teacher Luna."The dragon read.

"Yes yes yes yes!"Twilight smiled for the first time since Shining armor came to pick her up.

"Then I guess this is goodbye sis."

"Only for today BBBFF."

"Love you sis."

"Love you to BBBFF."

"Later Spike"

"Later Shining."

With that the white Stallion went out of the front door.

"Does this means that Rarity will come too?"

"Oh Spike of course she will come too. Now all we got to do is find them and see if they are up to the task. It´s no easy thing I'l be asking but together we can accomplish everything!"

"But who will take care of Owlicious, Tank and the rest of all the pets?"

"Hmm that´s a good question spike we must find somepony who will take care of them. I guess that we will find somepony on the way to our friends."

Twilight and Spike walks out of the library and Owlicious flies directly behind them. Walking down the path they see an Pegasus mare sitting on the ground. She has an gray coat and yellow mane. They quickly recognizes Derpy with her crossed eyes. She looks awfully sad. Strange Twilight thinks Derpy always smiles otherwise.

"Whats wrong Derpy?"-

"It´s all my fault."

"What´s your fault?"

"Everything. The war, that he is dead and everything else."

Now Twilight remembered, Derpy´s husband Dr Whooves had committed suicide the last week. Poor Derpy the only pony that loved her was dead. That thought angered Twilight. How can you think that Twilight! She´s a nice pony like everypony else. But still the thought had some truth in it. Most Ponies shunned Derpy for her eyes and her clumsiness.

"And what of Dinky, now she has no father and it´s all because of me."

"Derpy you cant blame his death on yourself, you had nothing to do with it. Think of Dinky she needs you."

"She needs her father and not her worthless mother!"

"Dont say that, you are not worthless."

"But I am, I do nothing right. And now a war is erupting because of it."

"You can't possibly blame the war on yourself! I know it´s scary and i'm afraid to but it´s not your fault. Your child need you and...

"Who who."Owlicious flew over to Derpy and landed in her lap.

"Who who"

Somehow the owl brought a smile to the mare's face. She rose up.

"You are right Twilight, my daughter needs me!"

"Yes and you need her!" Then a thought struck Twilight. "Say Derpy you wouldn't mind pet sitting for me for a while?"

"Huh me?"

"Yes you, you are kind and care for others, you're perfect."

"Okay I guess, I mean yeah gladly. But isn't Fluttershy a better pony to be pet sitting?"

"That's the thing if it isn't too much trouble would you mind pet sitting for at least 4 more? My friends also need somepony to watch their pets."

"Oooh, but I fought you had 5 friends."

"I have but Applejack's family can take care of Winona for her."

"Uh okay".

"So you´re up for it?"

"Sure I think it will sheer both me and Dinky up." Derpy's eyes crossed again.

"Great you´re the best. I'l leave Owlicius here with you and then i'l be back with the others." Twilight gave Derpy a hug.

"Okay."

"Thanks Derpy."

"No Twilight it´s I who should thank you."

Twilight and Spike continues walking towards Sugarcube corner.

"Well that took like forever"Spike said annoyed.

"I know Spike but you saw her she needed our help."

"Yeah and so does all of Equestria."

"You're right, let´s go find the others."

Not long after they run into Pinkie Pie. She jumps down the street cheerily.

"Hi Twilight"Pinkie gave her a big smile.

"Pinkie I need you to get all the others it´s extremely important!"

"Oki doki loki." Immediately the pink mare is gone.

Not long after all of her friends are gathered outside of Sugarcube Corner. Rainbow Dash is flying above them circling around. Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie stands in a circle around her.

"What´s so important that it can´t wait to after my nap?"Rainbow Dash asked impatiently.

"I have gathered you all here today because we must discuss a matter of great importance. As you all now there´s a war coming.."

Fluttershy gave out a subtle wail. Everypony knew how much she feared hated the coming conflict. Rainbow Dash landed beside her and gave her an supportive hug.

"I wouldn't ask this of you unless i thought it really necessary, but sadly it is. I have been summoned to Crystal Germaneigh to help them against the Solar Empire..."

"Say no more we are in, right girls?"Rainbow Dash shouted out.

"YEAH" everypony said.

"You okay Fluttershy? Twilight asked, she had been most worried over how she would react.

"I´m fine Twilight, these ponies will need us. And I cant stand on seeing ponies suffering without doing anything to help them."

"This is going to be awesome!" Rainbow Dash shouted out. Now maybe i'l be able to join the shadowbolts.

"Yeah a fun adventure hihi" Pinkie Pie giggled.

"No it´s not!"Applejack interrupted, "T'is going to be hard and we'll face challenges.From others but also from our inner selves, we will face sides o´ ourselves that we didn't know we had. T'is why we must keep together at all cost´s. Me ma and pa died in the first war and in their last letter they wrote that war never makes a pony strong it only breaks one." The orange mare looked sad.

"I´m with Applejack Rarity fell in, our friendship will be tested in these terrible times but we must keep together at all costs."

"Agreed they all said."

"Girls I need you to bring only the most important stuff and your pets to my house in a hour, okay."

"Okay." Everypony answered.

"Why our pets sugarcube?" Applejack asked.

"Everypony except you at least Applejack."

"But why?"

"We will need somepony to take care of our pets while we are gone and I have found a perfect pet sitter." AJ I guess your family can watch Winona?"

"Sure can do sugarcube."

"Perfect, then we meet at my house in a hour."

"Everypony i want to introduce our newest general Trixie Lulamoon."

The doors to Celestia's private combat headquarters opened and in walked a blue unicorn. But it was no normal unicorn, no all of her body had been replaced with a metal parts. The metal legs where obviously longer than her normal legs and they made the unicorn as tall as Celestia herself. Her metal body was filled with hatches and control panels. The metal body also made her much broader so she had the size of a small bull. Her head was the only place where you could see a trace that she once was a cute unicorn. But not even her head where unchanged because where her right eye used to be was now a giant green robotic eye. Cords went out from the eye into various places on her body. The top of her horn where made of metal as well. In her right ear she had a large metallic part. Her mane was cut short. She spoke to the ponies around her with a loud robotic voice.

"So these are your best generals Celestia? Hardly impressing, somehow i had expected more from Celestia´s elite." Trixie looked over at the ponies in the room with a cocky smile.

"Trixie trust me when i say the are the best. You do trust me don't you?" Celestia gave her warm smile to Trixie

"Of course my princess." Immediately Trixie changed look from cocky to humble.

"Splendid, Trixie i want you to meet my best general and closest adviser Spitfire."

A yellow coated Pegasus mare with a fiery orange mane and a blue uniform with yellow lightning bolts on, walked forward to Trixie. She wore light blue flying goggles. "God day Trixie, me and my Wonderbolts are looking forward to us working together."

"The great and powerful Trixie will see if you are worthy of being her partner."

Behind Spitfire stood 4 other Pegasi with the same uniforms. They exchanged annoyed and angry looks with each other after Trixie´s comment.

"These other Pegasi are the rest of my generals. They are together my own personal aerial attack squad The Wonderbolts. Each one of them have their own task and army. Spitfire here is my grand General in charge of everypony else, she is also in charge of our CLF- Cloudsdale Liberation Front."

"Then we have Fleetfoot the airforce general, she handles all our attack clouds and coordinates our Pegasi attack squads."

"Soon enough the crystal ponies will feel the wrath of the skies brought down upon them."She Grinned. Her coat was cyan with a white mane.

"Fire Streak here is coordinating our tanks and vehicles."

"We'll crush Equestria under our tanks!"He had a grim appearance unlike the other Wonderbolts. His coat was beige and his mane was orange with areas of white.

"And finally we have Surprise our Submarine admiral."

"I got a really nice party planned for rest of Equestria, a party under the sea hihi". She had an unstable look like she was going to explode and giggled constantly. Her coat was white and her yellow mane was like fluffy cotton candy unlike the other Wonderbolts that had the same slicked back manes.

"Trixie I want you to meet your fellow scientist Sunset Shimmer. She is my own student and also the commander over my special weapons manufacturer The Horn of The Sun. They make most of our weapons and are currently working at two top priority weapons. Together if think the two of you can achieve wonders."

A yellow unicorn mare with an mane that was half red and half yellow came forward to meet Trixie. She had an toxic green uniform.

"Enough both of you"Celestia said in a calm warm voice and immediately both of became silent. "And least and probably deadliest we have my own guardian and agent, Boris.

Out of the shadows came a light brown unicorn stallion with a shaved head. His face was full of several scars and he had a brown stubble. He wore a black cote and under it you could see several grenades and also an assault rifle. He wore a black cap on his head. He gave a light nod to Trixie.

"So now when we all now each other lets get down to our plans."Celestia gave a nod to Sunset Shimmer who activated a cyber map of Equestria on the table in the middle of the room. On the map you could see all borders between the nations and also all capitals and big cities. The location of Celestia´s army´s where spread out in different locations. "Spitfire."

The Pegasus started the briefing."As everypony knows our armies are on the borders of Crystal Germaneigh. The original plan was to attack before they knew what hit them but unfortunately they have spies everywhere so they became aware of the location of our armies. Also after Cadance´s little cry for help the other nations are coming to aid them. But what these nations don´t know is that we have terrorists and operatives in every country. As we speak my personal CLF are preparing to take over Cloudsdale. But the Pegasi will never submit as long as their generals and government live. All of the generals in Cloudsdale are going to Crystal Germaneigh later tonight. What they don´t know is that me and the rest of the Wonderbolts will wait in surprise..."

"OOH SURPRISEEE!"Surprise screamed.It will be so fun."

"Shut up Surprise!"Spitfire roared at her fellow wonderbolt. "Now please no more interruptions, After the loss of their generals Cloudsdale will not be able to help the crystal ponies. And even united neither the Crystal Alliance or the Griffon Kingdom have any real strategical minds. They won´t stand a chance and during the assault on the crystal ponies we move in and assassinate the Cloudsdale council. After the loss of both their generals and government the Pegasi of Cloudsdale will join us, I will personally travel to Cloudsdale to oversee the process. We are to expect a large civil war because many will still support the allied nations of Equestria. After Cloudsdale is ours, conquering both the griffons and the crystal ponies will be easy and then only the lunar republic stands in our way for total domination of Equestria. And because of Luna not giving any support they will not be a problem until they stand alone against the burning fire of the sun herself! Also thanks to Sunset Shimmer and Trixie..."

"Why is not the great and powerful Trixie first to be mentioned?"

"Please no more interruptions." Spitfire looked at Trixie with a deadly gaze. "Thanks to Trixie and Sunset Shimmer we now have another agent that can match Boris. Boris will be at our front while Trixie will be deployed by stealth Pegasi together with her new Trixie Corps in the middle of the griffon lands. There will she set up an F.O.B. and await further instructions. But we cant deploy the Trixie Corps until project Trixie is completed. How long will it be until you and your troops are ready?"

"You underestimate the great and powerful Trixie. Project Trixie is already completed." A hatch in her hoof opened and several wires connected to the combat simulator table. A image of a large tower appeared. It was a long metal spire with a metal ball on top. The spire was surrounded with metal rings going from bottom to top. "Watch and be amazed by the great and powerful Trixie Coil." Next to appear was a solar empire soldier. He had an battlesaddle with two mini Trixie Coils on it. Wires where connecting the Coils with an weapon pipe. Watch and be amazed by the great and powerful Trixie Shock Trooper. Next image was a tank with no guns and a glass dome on top of it.

"How is that supposed to kill anypony?"Solar Streak asked annoyed.

"Fool, the great and powerful Trixie Tank shoots with power discharges from it´s dome! And last but biggest I present to you the great and..."

"Yeah we get it all is great and powerful when it´s about Trixie we get it just please get to the point!"

"Soarin if you had kept your mouth shut she would've been by now, Idiot! Please Trixie Continue"Spitfire said.

"And the grand finale is the Trixie Jelly." An giant jellyfish appeared on the screen. Lighting discharged from it´s body frequently.

"Oooh flashy" Surprise grinned.

"Impressive Trixie"Celestia said, the first thing she had said since the briefing started. "And I guess the Trixie weapons are effective against both ponies and vehicles alike?"

"Of course my princess. It melts armor and flesh alike and overloads electronics."

"Excellent Trixie, Excellent all of you. I am so very proud of each and every one of you."

"Just two questions Trixie"Soarin said in a humble voice like he was afraid of Trixie.

"Yes?"

"For the first what does the Trixie weapons do..."

Spitfire facehoofed."Soarin do you even read the mission reports?!"

"Uh no...Should I?"

"Enough my little ponies"Celestia said.

"Wait my second question is a good one."

"Yes"Trixie said annoyed.

"How much of these weapons have you manufactured for our armies?"

"Good question Soarin" Spitfire responded.

"The Trixie Coil is being created in all our Construction Stables to be deployed as our primary defensive structure. The Trixie Shock trooper gun will only be used and available in my own Trixie Corps. As for the Trixie tank they are currently in production state. And the collection of Jellyfishes is in full progress by our navy, as they are needed for the mutation into Trixie Jelly´s.

"Perfect" Celestia said. The work we are doing here will change Equestria. All of us will become the heroes of a new age. We are the dawn of a new era."

"Now Trixie I would be honored if you came with me to my lab, I believe I got some interesting things to show you there." Sunset Shimmer smiled at the giant cyborg.

"Lead the way Shimmer."

After Trixie and Sunset Shimmer left the room Spitfire turned to Celestia. "She could be trouble!"

"Oh Spitfire my loyal general of course she could be trouble. Unless you install an code in her brain making her my little slave. She will always be mine, she might think she is free but in fact she just thinks what i want her to."

Location: Crystal Germaneigh, Gates of the Crystal Capital.

When they had left Ponyville that evening they had started out as six ponies and one dragon. They arrived in Crystal Germaneigh as five ponies and one dragon.

How could they have lost Twilight. It was all Rainbow Dash´s fault and she knew it. If only she had been quicker and.. Arrghh she was worthless and she knew it. It didn't matter how much she bragged it never made any difference. She never did anything right. And now she couldn't even keep her friends safe, the only ponies that really mattered to her. She had failed them and she had failed Equestria. Her friends didn't blame her they never did, but then again they where the best ponies you could find across all of Equestria.

It had all began so well they were traveling the roads of Equestria in a quick pace and the mood was good. Then it became night and the sky became awfully clouded. Altough Rainbow Dash didn't have the weather duty in that region of Equestria she found it strange that the sky was so clouded at the night. Lunar Republic law said that the night must always be clear so the stars and moon can guide us trough our dreams.

When they boarded the train you could hardly see anything outside the wagon. Then the power went out and all became dark as Luna's flank.

She should have known it coming, she should have saved Twilight. They had all agreed on traveling at the night to make it to Crystal Germaneigh as quickly as possible, what where the chances of being attacked by solar ponies on a train in the middle of Equestria. Well the chances where extremely high considering all the Pegasi traitors living in the Equestrian mountains.

But they didn't know none of them. Except Rainbow Dash. She new. Her father had sent her a message the last week warning her to be on her guard while on weather duty because the sky was filled with Pegasi traitors. She should have warned her friends, but no she did not even think twice. She never did, she was stupid if only...

"You okay sugarcube?"Applejack interrupted her thoughts.

"Okay, how can I be okay when one of our friends is captured by Solar Empire ops and.. and..."

"It´s okay sugarcube, she´s not gone we'll find her we got the best spies in all o Equestria."

"It´s not okay, what if they find out who she is or.."

"Rainbow calm down we need our minds clear to save her."

The other´s where waiting at the gate. The gate where huge, made completely out of crystals it had two cannon towers on each side. Out from the towers began a huge wall. It was higher than ten ponies on each others back's and thick enough so there could be several mounted cannons upon it. You could also spot several murder holes in the wall big enough to get a sniper trough. Rarity where in full conversation with one of the guards. By the look's of it she had little success with getting entrance to the city.

"Darling we must enter we are here on government businesses."

"Yeah likely story"a red crystal mare guard with a tired and annoyed look replied. On her head she had one of the traditional crystal helmets with a pike on the top. Her uniform was green and she had a long rifle over her back. "Why don't you take your lying flank and return to whatever place you came from, oh and take your friends with you!"

"Excuse me Ms! I have been nothing but patient and nice but now I have had enough with your insult's you Ruffian! I am a lady and I will be spoken to as Miss Rarity or Miss have I made myself clear!?"

"Ooh she calls you a ruffian, hahaha these ponies are so entertaining"a younger light green unicorn stallion with a black and green mane replied. It would seem like he was new recruit judging from his unprofessional behavior and for the fact that he wore a soldier's cap instead of a piked helmet.

"Quiet Private Greensprout!" The red mare shouted.

"Yes sir!"

"Miss Rarity i'm sorry but we can't allow you into the city unless you are expected..."

"But we are expected, we were sent by the order of Luna."

"Miss Rarity Luna hasn't sent anypony..."

"Aren't you expecting a Purple unicorn named Twilight Sparkle?"

"How did they now that!"Greensprout said shocked "SPY, SPY!!"

"GREENSPROUT!! Silence! As for you miss I can't confirm who and when we are expecting somepony."

"But Darling we are Twilight's friends we came here together."

"Yeah really then where is Twilight?!"Greensprout said in an accusing voice."You didn't think of that did you HA!"

Rarity looked terrible tired of the younger stallion who where checking out her flank at the same time as he was accusing her. Still she replied in her politest tone. "That´s the thing she got kidnapped by Solar Pegasi some hours ago, while we where on the train. Ask the conductor he can confirm that we got assaulted and that we where six ponies who went on the train.

"`Yeah and while we leave our post you sneak into the city, BUSTED!"

"Greensprout shut your big mouth or i'll make you walk back to Trottingham and back here ten times! Look miss nopony is doubting that you where attacked, but I cant let you in. Sorry."

Look darling we are no spies you have my word as an lady on it, and our friend is in trouble.."

Rainbow Dash flies over to Rarity."You guard's retarded or what? We are here to help you..." the Pegasi angrily yells. She gets interrupted by a loud voice from atop of the wall.

"What's going on down there?"

"Nothing sir only these five ponies and a baby dragon insisting on that they have been sent here by Luna, but don't worry i'm not letting them in."

"FIVE PONIES!? WHERE´S TWILIGHT!!?"Suddenly the grand gates open up and a white unicorn stallion comes out. He wears a dark blue suit with several medals upon."Where is Twilight!?"

Rainbow Dash lands in front of him. "I'ts all my fault sir..."

"It's nopony´s fault sugarcube!" Applejack runs toward to Shining Armor. "We were assaulted by Pegasi traitors n´ they took Twilight, t´was on the train and they cut the power n t'was in the middle o´ night we couldn't see them. "We are so sorry sir."

"Bucking horseshit..."

"We are all so sorry, right girls?"

"We failed Twilight"

"We will find her"

"Those meanie beanie Pegasi won´t get away with this!"

"Sorry..."

"Look i don't blame any of you.. I should never have left her alone." He sighed. "Luckily I made precautions. Spike?"

"Yes Shining?" The little dragon looked completely devastated the loss of his dear friend.

"Did Twilight have her saddlebags on her when they took her?"

"Yes she did, why you asking?"

"Then there is still hope, come with me everypony it´s time for you to meet the other generals.

While walking through the Crystal capital you saw what once where a city filled with beautiful gardens and grand palaces. The gardens where now firing ranges for ponies and the palaces where transformed into great battle bunkers. Everywhere you saw guards patrolling the streets and now and then a auto wagon with a mounted machine gun rolled by them. Ponies had barricaded their homes and not a single civilian where spotted on the street.

"Where is everypony?"Pinkie asked. "I't fells so empty here, so sad. Where are the children, and all the joy?"

"The plan was to originally evacuate all children and old ones out of Crystal Alliance territory and into the Lunar Republic, but our sea transports where attacked by Solar submarines, and if they where to travel by train they would fall victim to Pegasi terrorists. So now most ponies hide in their homes or try to aid us in building our defense. We get more and more recruits every day, but sadly i don´t think it will make such a great difference." Shining Armor gave out a long sigh and continued. "The crystal ponies lost all their best in the last war and they haven't practiced for this either. Ever since the war they have sought towards love and peace. And now they are under the shadow of war again. The griffons have been of extreme help, their knowledge of rocket weaponry have been irreplaceable and thanks to them our ponies our also getting the best of bazooka training. But I wonder if it will be enough."

"But where are the Pegasi, where are the Cloudsdale military?" Rainbow Dash asked worryingly.

"I'l get to that later. But i can say that we wont be getting the support we originally expected."

Rainbow looked like she had been hit in the face. "What, Cloudsdale won't help?"

"Yes they have sent help it´s just not what we expected. Well everypony it looks like we are here." In front of them stood a giant crystal castle, it was high enough to reach the clouds. At the gates stood four guards on watch.

"Welcome back general Armor"one of the guards said. He then opened the castle gates. The interior of the castle was beautiful, the walls where made of crystals in all kinds of colors. On the walls hung banners with the green flag of the Crystal Alliance. On it where a crystallized flower surrounded by smaller flowers.

They all came to two doors and when they entered they found themselves in a small circular room. In the middle of the room was a cyber map of Equestria on a table that showed the positions of the Allied forces and also the border between each country. Behind the table stood a pink Alicorn. She wore a green suit and she had a worried look on her face.

"Girls and Dragon may I introduce to you Princess Mi Amore Cadenza the leader of the Crystal Alliance."

"Please Shiny it's just Cadance. It's a honor too met you all iv'e heard so much about each one of you. But where´s Twilight?"

"She was captured.."Applejack began

"But we shall save her and we shall do so now."Shining Armor interrupted. "I feared that Twilight would be captured from the very beginning so I put a tracker in one of her saddlebags."

"Oh no poor Twilight" Cadance sighed. I think rescuing Twilight shall be our top priority but we must still wait for the other generals."

"Where are they then? The Cloudsdale general was supposed to be here long ago. And were did Blackbeak go?"

"He said that he was going to meet the Cloudsdale general at the gates. You know inform him of the current situation and all."

The doors opened and in came a giant griffin. He was completely black. Both the feathers and the talons and the beak had different shades of black. He wore a dark blue armor and a classical griffin helmet with a small metal plume on the top. "Evening" he said in a stately voice. Behind him came a violet Pegasus stallion with the golden armor of a Cloudsdale general. He had a insecure and worried look. His mane had the same color as Rainbow Dash. He looked over the ponies in the room and his eyes caught sight of the mare with the same mane as himself. His look immediately changed from worried to deadly cold. He walked forwards to Rainbow Dash.

"Dashie what are you doing here!?"

The mare looked like her world were being crushed before her. She then answered in a defiant tone."I was going to ask you the same thing Father! You are no soldier!"

"Huuuuuuuh!!"Pinkie was stunned by the father-daughter reunion.

"And neither are you, Dashie these are serious and dangerous stuff going on."

"Yeah well at least i'm a top speed flyer, you are just a cloud engineer. And i'm a grown up mare you can´t boss over me!"

"I am also the only general Cloudsdale got left!"

"YOU ARE NO GENERAL!!"

Cadance interrupted the discussion. "I think it´s time we tell our recruits what´s going on." Her horn started to glow and a screen appeared above the map. " Early this morning we received this message from Celestia´s agents."

A Pegasus with fiery orange mane that wore a blue uniform with yellow lightning bolts on appeared on the screen and started speaking. "This is grand general Spitfire, Celestia´s first general, captain of the Wonderbolts and leader of the Cloudsdale Liberation Front with a message to all the nations of Allied Equestria. You will all burn under the might of the sun, even together you won't stand a chance against our might. Just look at what happened to the generals of Cloudsdale."The camera turned and now the message showed 4 other Pegasi in the same uniforms. They where standing beside the decapitated bodies of eight other Pegasi. In front of the bodies laid 8 burned horse skulls. "See what happened to your generals? That is only the beginning, for soon enough all of Cloudsdale will feel the burning wrath of the sun. First we take your generals and then your government and soon we will take you... Unless of course you were to change side and join us in our glorious conquest. Celestia is merciful and kind to those who are loyal to her. Join us. Join the CLF. For the glory and honor of our Princess."The message ended with a blue flag with a winged lightning bolt appeared. The bolt was surrounded by flames.

"Now you see Dashie, i'm here because i'm the closest thing to a general they have left. My knowledge of clouds gave me a promotion into the army."

"So Mr Rainbow what exactly have brought with you to aid us?" The griffin asked.

"I've got Cloudsdale´s full battalion of Hurricane Attack clouds our best weaponry."

"And Mr Rainbow how many of these clouds do you have?"

"The battalion exists of fifty clouds divided into companies of five."

"So we got ten groups of clouds with five in each?"

"Yes and there are two specially trained Pegasi manning each cloud. They are our best gunners and fliers alike.

"OMG! I have meet Dash´s father. This calls for a PAARTYY!!"

Everypony and the griffin looked at the pink pony like she was crazy.

"Pinkie this is really a bad time..." Rainbow Dash said extremely annoyed.

"Yes we must stay focused at the task at hand." Cadance started. "The current situation could be much worse. Celestia does neither know or expect that we got aid from Cloudsdale or Luna so at least we got some surprises for them. Our spies report that Celestia´s scientists are working on two superweapons. What these weapons do is currently unknown but we must expect the worst. Reports also says that a new ally to Celestia has developed a completely new line of weapons with devastating effects. Altough it may look dark we have a secret project that is certain to turn the tide of the war. Even if our best scientists are working day and night we need help with the project. We need Twilight."

Shining Armor took over."Twilight Sparkle is the best chance we have for winning this war. She´s a genius and also Princess Luna´s student. With her help i'm certain we will get the upper hand. Sadly she was captured on her way here. Luckily we have the location of the base."

Armor´s horn glowed and on the map a little red dot appeared. The dot was on an big mountain above the clouds. "The dot shows the location of a secret CLF base where Twilight is being held. The base is inside of the cave on the mountainside and it´s heavily guarded. But it have one weakness, power. If somepony where to destroy the power generator feeding the base they would be completely defenseless. The Pegasi don´t know who it is they have captured so it´s important we get her out smooth and quick. If we send a small team they can disable the base easily with no casualties´s.

"Then let´s get Twilight!" Spike said.

"Um exuse me.."

"Um please anypony listen.."

"Please.."

"LISTEN!!".. Um sorry. Everypony turned their heads towards Fluttershy. "I think we have a problem.. um somepony already volunteered."She pointed her hoof towards where Rainbow Dash had been. She was now gone.

"Dashie! Why does she never listen to me she will get herself killed or worse.." You could see how the Pegasus started to panic and he turned to the other to generals. "Blacktalon, Mr Armor sir, we must save Dashie, please you must help her.." The stallion started to sob quietly. Fluttershy flew over to him and hugged him.

"We deploy our team and hopefully they wont be to late. Dismissed everypony."

Shining Armor exited the room and everypony else quickly followed. Except the two Pegasi. Fluttershy turned to her friends. "I'l catch up with you later girls, um if it´s okay." She then continued to hug the sobbing stallion.

"It's okay Mr Rainbow, we'll save her."

"Please Fluttershy just say Blaze."

"Sorry."

"What are Dashie doing she will get herself killed!" he sobbed.

The soft Pegasus got a serious look on her face."Um Blaze i'm sorry to say this but you really shouldn't talk about your daughter in that way, she deserves better than that. I know you are scared, I was also really afraid but then I found the strength in the ponies that I loved."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that I know that you fear of Dash´s health but you can´t treat her like she´s a little filly anymore, she wants to help, we all do. You need to support each other! And you now that she can take care of herself!"

"I know.. It's just that I can't stand losing her, she is all I have left. First I lose her mother and now if she'll get captured or worse because of her recklessness.. I'm just afraid. I don't even get why they made me a bucking general, i'm no soldier i hate war. I make clouds not warcraft.

"I agree on Rainbow just flying away was bad, but I also think she needed it."

"How? Why?"

"She blamed herself for Twilight's abduction and..."

"How can she blame herself?"

"You know she always does, she always have. She would do anything to save her friends. We both know how much we matter to her. And we both know how hard she pushes herself."

"Yes but she should not.."

"Rainbow can take care of herself, better than most ponies. Promise me Blaze that when she comes back you will treat her as your grownup daughter and not a filly!"

Blaze gave out a long and worried sigh. "Your'e right Fluttershy, I just want her to be safe. But she needs her father's support not his whine. And I need her."

"I should join that rescue team, you know better to get used to the war earlier than late. And I owe it to Dashie. You coming?"

"Um I really should check in with my friends you know, um if it´s okay?"

"And here you have one of my personal favorites, the Pyro battle-saddle."Before the two unicorns was a battle saddle with two big tanks upon it. A hose led from the tanks into a gun pipe. "Demonstrate project Pyro". A mannequin with a the uniform of a crystal soldier appeared out from a hatch in the floor. "Fire!"

"Swoosh"

The mannequin erupted in flames instantly and in seconds the only trace was the pike helmet it had worn on its head.

"As you see the Pyro saddle is ineffective against all armor but it melts flesh in seconds and it also have a big mental impact on ponies. It tends to cause panic among the enemy lines."

"Amusing"

"Indeed, I wish we had any live test subjects but they ran out the last week."

"What a shame."

"Couldn't agree more. Anyway the only disadvantage with the Pyro is the highly volatile chemicals in the tanks. If a bullet where to penetrate them it will explode and create big chaos among our own lines. That's why Pyro´s always work together with other infantry and never with other Pyro´s. I they where to stand next to each other when a tank exploded it would cause a catastrophic chain reaction, who now's how big explosion it would create. You know it's so ironic, the crystal ponies invented the first flamer saddle. They defeated the former Northcolt Empire with it. And now we use it to burn them down instead."

"Ironic and pathetic!"

"Yes, and you shall now that most of our weaponry are based on crystal pony weapons from the first war. Our submarines, the chemicals and gasses we use. All of it based on reverse engineered crystal pony weaponry. Once upon a time they where as mighty as we are now, but now they are a pathetic peace loving nation just waiting to be burnt of the map of Equestria."

Trixie turned around and saw a tower of some sorts. On it were four gun pipes similar to the Pyro saddle but much bigger. "What's this?"

"Aah my infamous flame tower. After you introduced your Trixie Coils i bet these will go to the scrapyard. they would be deadly, only if it had fired faster. In almost all of the tests the subjects dodged the fire. Definitely one of my worst creations."

They continues walking down the lab. They then comes to a large tank with two cannons.

"And over here you have the backbone of all our tank divisions, the Heavy Buck tank. It´s pretty expensive but it punches through any Allied armor so it´s definitely worth it. And now we have come to the masterpiece of this tour. My very own design and idea, the Alicorn Heavy Assault tank." Before them was a huge tank with two heavy cannons and mounted missile systems on the sides. "It destroys anything and anypony in it´s way in seconds. The twin cannons fire two heavy blast of armor piercing shells that devastates any structure or vehicle and the twin rocket launchers on each side are packed with the same chemicals as our Pyro resulting in a complete incineration of anypony stupid enough to be in it´s way. The rockets also track moving targets so not even a quick airborne Pegasi can avoid it´s missiles."

"The great and powerful Trixie is impressed by this tour. Trixie have indeed underestimated you Sunset."

"You are too kind Trixie. Now when you know our work I am in need of your assistance, with our two most advanced weapons yet. Follow me."

They continued walking through the facility going past several test chambers and laboratories alike. One of them caught Trixie´s attention. She stopped in front of a huge glass window. Inside it was a lab, where unicorns in same uniforms as Sunset where conducting experiments on ponies laying on surgical tables. The only difference from their uniforms where that these ponies whore gas masks over their faces. On the walls of the lab hung several canisters containing different green fluids.

"What´s going on in there?"

"That is one of our longest and biggest research projects. We are trying to find several ways to create superweapons using toxins and radiation alike. By combining the two murderous elements we have gained the best of results. Sadly we have very big problems to build a weapon of them. The product melts any kind of weapon we have tried it with."

"Cant you just build weapons out of those canisters you keep the fluid in?"

"Those canister are magically protected by an anti-rad/toxic field generated by our own power plants, and if you would apply that field on a gun or tank that would require it to have it´s own power plant installed and that is practically impossible.

"Trixie weaponry runs on self sustained power. With the aid of the great and powerful Trixie i'm sure we could build..."

"Yes i'm shure we could but that´s not why you are here, no Celestia got something even better planned for you. Come with me."

"Before we leave the great and powerful Trixie insists on seeing the results of this weapon!"

"Sigh.. Alright" Sunset spoke into a tiny mic coming out of her uniform. "Use Toxic Meltdown upon test subject 5."

"But sir these are our last test subjects!"a unicorn in the lab replied.

"Well the problem isn't really the fluid's effect now is it? It's how we going to turn it into a weapon! Idiot do as I say or i'l use you as our next test subject!.

"Of course sir."The unicorns horn started glowing and he brought forward a syringe filled with the green fluid. He walked forwards to one of the surgical tables and injected the fluid into the pony lying there.

"Prepare for the show of your life!" Sunset said to Trixie Proudly.

The pony on the table started to shake violently and his white coat was transformed into a pale green color. His mane hair started to fall of. He started to cough violently and both blood and pus came out of his nose and mouth. Big yellow boils started to appear all over his body which kept growing until they exploded. Pus spat out from the exploded boils. His skin began to melt from his bones and a moment later only the bones remained in a pile of green slime mixed with pus. Even though the glass window where keeping most of the sound out it was hard to not hear the agony from the poor pony.

"Impressive and it really entertains the great and powerful Trixie."

"Yes but now we really need to get on with our work we're on a tight schedule you know, we only have a week before the invasion starts and Celestia want us to be done by then. If you don´t remember you are being send into the middle of enemy territory."

"The great and powerful Trixie never needs to be reminded of her importance!"

"Great then follow me."

They continued through the facility until they reached a circular door. In the middle of the door was a lock that used a unicorns horn as a key. Beside the door stood two guards on each side. They wore the same royal uniforms as the palace guards but they where in the same toxic green as Sunset's uniform. They also wore gas masks on their faces. They both greeted Sunset.

"Welcome back sir!"

"Well thank you my handsome guards." She walked forward to the keyhole an put her horn into it. The door began to shine and suddenly the door opened and behind it was a huge lab.

In one end of the lab stood a giant black globe supported by three metal poles. Several cords and wires connected the globe with several generators beside it. On the other side of the room stood a giant missile that you could only see the top of. The rest of the missile went down under the floor to the lower levels. A staircase beside the missile went down to those levels. Several chemical laboratory devices and computers where spread throughout the lab

"Trixie welcome to my personal lab. These two are our top priority this week and i expect that we will make Celestia proud by completing them before her deadline." She pointed at the globe and the missile.

"What are they?"

"The orb you see over there is the Iron coat project. It is supposed to harden a specific tank or structure by applying a magical super barrier, making it resistant to all enemy fire for an amount of time. Sadly I've had big problems with applying the effect on big objects. I was hoping you could help me change that." She then pointed at the missile."The giant missile you see over there is what i call Celestia´s Kiss. It´s basically supposed to be a giant bomb, able to destroy whole cities within seconds with the use of chemicals resulting in a giant inferno."

"Let me guess you need the great and powerful Trixie´s help to finish that too? Figured that you needed my genius to complete these weapons. " Trixie gave a cocky smile to Sunset Shimmer.

Sunset Shimmer looked very annoyed over Trixie's boasting."Yes I have had great complications to get the chemicals to cause the proper fire effects that Celestia wishes for. But then again two minds work twice as fast as one so i think you and I will solve it easily."

"Trixie appreciates your faith in her, and trust Trixie when she says she will finish these weapons for you." Trixie looked over at the giant weapons with her green robot eye.

"With me, not for me..." Sunset Shimmer looked like she wanted to burn Trixie alive.

"Trixie must ask, where do you test these weapons?"

"Well the Iron coat i use on any kinds of small metal object and then i try to attack it with a energy blast from my horn. They always resist my spells but the effect cant be applied on bigger objects. Celestia´s kiss I test at our secret testing grounds."

"And where is that?"

"Well I do have several of them but most are located in annexed lands like your own country Juggomaneia."

"This amuses Trixie to see her pathetic homeland covered in flames. But Trixie must ask, do you test them outside?"

"Why yes of course, how would i otherwise see the results of it? I have had whole towns evacuated just to test my weapons. It's the best part of this job, well except when I can melt ponies with a blast of magic from my horn. That is slightly more amusing." Sunset Shimmer smiled a cruel smile.

"And you don´t think the Allies would find out about it? You do know that they have spies everywhere." Trixie looked down on Sunset Shimmer. The height differences between the two unicorns made Sunset look like a little filly next to Trixie's giant robot body.

"Haha oh my no, Me and my men go in and warn the ponies that an enemy attack is imminent. And then after everypony is evacuated we launch our weapon on the town. Afterwards we tell the ponies that it was a new Allied weapon that was launched and voila we got like a hundred new recruits. And you shall know that the allies have their spies in the wrong places. They are really in the wrong places if they want to find anything of importance to report to their leaders. It's so amusing that Celestia allows them to live "

"Brilliant! Fooling ponies to fight for you at the same time as you test your weapons."

"Yes it is, I find it amusing that everypony believes anything you say to them. If I said it was Luna who had brought down the moon upon them they would believe that without even giving it a second thought, ponies put way to much trust in their governments."

"Well ponies are idiots."

"True story, with the exceptions of unicorns such as you and me."

Trixie's metal half of her horn started to glow. But instead of the normal unicorn magic aura, lightning sparks appeared that of the same type as a Trixie Coil. She grabbed one of the several notepads on a table next to the Iron Coat generator. "Now Trixie wants to put her genius to work on these spells of doom!"

Locaition: Equestrian mountains, secret CLF base.

Could this day become any worse? Hardly, first they lose Twilight because of her and then her stupid father appears out of nowhere and tells her to go home. How could he still treat her like a filly, he never understood her. But she had a way to fix everything. She would save Twilight and by doing so she would redeem her mistakes. And her father would see that she was no longer a filly.

Spotting the base was easy. The trees and mountains didn't hid well from spectators above. It was a tiny base actually, only some ponies standing guard around two giant towers. The towers where unlike anything she had seen before. A giant metal pole surrounded with rings and on top of it where a globe of some sorts.

Upon closer inspection of the base she saw that behind the towers was a giant cave. Inside it where several coal power plants, a big command center, barracks and several different munitions. She also saw a big construction stable that currently was working on another of the big towers.

"Hmm, how in Equestria shall i get in there?"

She flew a bit lower, but not low enough to get spotted. All of a sudden one of the big towers started to spark violently.

"That can't be good."

Rainbow immediately flew away but it was too late.

"Bzzzzzzt"

"Aaargh my wing!" The powerful lightning had missed her with an inch but still her wing was badly burned. She started to lose height and crashed violently into a snowdrift under the trees.

"What was that!?" one of the Pegasi at the tower said.

"Probably just a bird, these things are programmed to attack anything who doesn't wear our colors."Another guard replied.

"Hehe right, poor thing probably toasted now. By the way did you see the mare we captured yesterday?"

"The unicorn?"

"No the donkey.. of course I meant the unicorn!"

"What about her?"

"She was a real cutie, do you think the captain will let us have a round at her?"

"No way. We got strict orders to send all our prisoners back to Solar territory. Apparently Celestia or somepony big is in need of prisoners."

"C´mon i wont hurt her, I'l be gentle."

"Ha! You gentle, that would be something new. In all my years as your big brother I have never seen you gently to anything."

The two stallions laughed loudly.

"Well you saw her she have probably don´t even know how to kiss, I'm sure I could show her some stuff."

"You are a freak you know that don´t you?"

"Me? Why I don't have the slightest idea of what you are talking about."

Rainbow Dash awoke by with a terrible ache in her wing. "Auch, stupid wings why do you always fail me when I need you the most. Where did i crash now?" She looks around and finds that she is under the trees next to the cave. "Hmm.. well Dash you have really outdone yourself this time. Now you can't even fly.."

"Don't be such a meanie to yourself Rainbow Dashie."

"AAAAAHH"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH"

"Pinkie what in Equestria are you doing here!?"

"What does it look like silly, i'm helping you."

"Yeah and you will probably blow our cover too with all your screaming..."

"Eeey no fair, you screamed first!"

Rainbow Dash gave out a sigh. "How did you even find me?"

"Well it all began after you snuck out, you did miss some really important info on this base and then i thought if Rainbow don't know what she will be against she might get hurt and if she get hurt the meanie ponies might capture her to and if both you and Twilight where captured who knows what will happen and then i also remembered that you usually run right into action and then i fought that maybe a sneaky plan would be better and then i remembered that i am a super duper sneaky so i could sneak into the base and help you disable the power feeding those big bad sparkie things and..."

"Yeah that's great Pinkie but that does not explain how you found me."

"Easy silly, with my pinkie sense of course."

"I should have guessed..."

"Oooh you wanna play a guessing game? I go first, guess what i'm thinking on!"

"How we are going save Twilight i hope!"

"Ooh your'e good. Your turn."

"Pinkie do you really have a plan or are you just here to be in the way!?"

"I was going to tell you but you only interrupted me."

"Out with it then, every minute we waste here is a minute more that Twilight have to be in there!"

"As i was saying you missed very important info when you flew away. Those two big sparkies are being powered up by the plants inside the cave. But if somepony where to get past them and the Pegasi and then destroy the power plants it would cause the meanie pants to be defenseless. And then we could easily finish them of.

"And how do you suppose that we shall do that without disguises or weapon."

"Oh Dashie you underestimate your old Pinkie" All of a sudden Pinkie brought forward a Solar Empire uniform along with two crystal alliance pistols and a box filled with blocks of some pink dough. On each block there where a little control panel and a timer. Pinkie equipped the armor and helmet on herself. She did now look like a mare in Celestia´s service. Altough the helmet was too big for her it fit perfectly because most of her giant mane went right in under it, and filled out the empty space in the helmet. Pinkie picked up several of the pink blocks and then she put them under her red jacket. She took one of the pistols and put it inside her tail hair. It was consumed by the pink fluffy hair instantly. She handed the other pistol to Rainbow Dash.

"So what´s the plan Pinkie?"

"Well i will go forward to the guards saying i'm the new recruit. Once i get past them i'm gonna make the power go booom booom with these little babies." She showed up one of the pink blocks.

"What are they?"

"Magic dough, a really fun weapon made by the crystal ponies, it looks so tasty but you cant eat it Dash then your stomach goes boom.

"How did you get your hooves on all these weapons?"

"Well i snuck in and borrowed them from the crystal ponies armory when nopony looked. Don´t look so angry Dashie we are after all helping them, why couldn't they borrow us some weapons?"

"Good point. But I don´t like the idea of you stealing!"

"We borrowed it silly." She then continued with her plan. "And after the power is out everypony will be after me so then it will be your job to shoot them in their backs. Once we have cleared the base we move into the big command building and rescue Twilight. Then we erase the rest of the base by shooting the munitions causing a huge colorful baang!!"

"Pinkie your plan is AWESOME, I never thought of you as such a good strategist. You ready?"

"Yes right after i have equipped this mustache.."Pinkie took forward a silly little fake mustache and put it on her face.

"Pinkie seriously?"

"What? It's all about the mustache."

"You are so random.."

"And your such a grumpy pants from time to time.

"No i'm not!"

"Uh yes."

"Uh no!"

They both started laughing, and then Pinkie started to walk towards the base.

"Good luck Pinkie."

"Silly Dashie i don't need luck i got my pinkie sense."

When Pinkie comes out of the forest the giant Trixie Coils recognizes her uniform and they holds their fire. The two Pegasi guards looks surprised to see another soldier.

"Eeey, you're no Pegasi!"

"Halt! Who are you and what are your businesses here!?"

Pinkie walks over towards the two guards and responds in a deep male voice. "Greetings fellow CLF soldiers. My name is Private Pink Mustache and I have been transferred from camp cupcake to here. I've been told to report to the pony in charge." The two Pegasi looks very confused.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, your mustache is black not pink!"

"Seriously, that´s what you find odd? I for one find it strange that he is a earth pony and a member of CLF, I thought we where only Pegasi. And what kind of name is camp cupcake?"

"That must be where all the good chefs are, because the one we got cant cook for donkey shit."

Pinkie continues to explain why she is there. "I am a member of the Ponyville Liberation Front, that's why i'm a earth pony and my commander thought that camp cupcake had too many soldiers so he sent me to aid our Pegasi brothers."

"Ponyville? What kind of place is that? And camp cupcake sounds way suspicious!"

"Ponyville is a town in Lunar Territory, and for the name the PLF names all their camps after different deserts."

"How come we haven't heard of this PLF before?"

"Well that's because we are a top secret organization, reporting directly to Celestia."

"Celestia, you say..."

"C'mon Feathers, he must be telling the truth with the mustache and all."The other guard interrupts.

"You have a pretty damn good point Leathers my brother, somepony with that grand mustache must be telling the truth! Alright private Pink you can enter. But our commander is currently away on a top secret CLF mission so you must wait with reporting to him until he gets back. In the meantime i suggest that you introduce yourself to everypony else."

"Then i'l do so. Later guys."

"Later Pink."

While Pinkie walks she hears one of them whispering to the other. "I still find it amazing that his name is Pink Mustache while the mustache is black." Pinkie giggles over the guards stupidity. While in the cave she sees the power plants. Luckily there are no guards on patrol, it would seem like most of them where on break. The power plants where big structures with two chimneys that led up into the roof of the cavern. She counted to four of them. She opens the door into one of them.

"Hello is anypony there?"

Inside of the factory are two large incinerators and beside each lies a huge pile of coal. Large pipes connected the incinerators with a reactor. The building was empty.

"Perfect, nopony to be seen, then all I have to do is to plant these little babies on each building and then i'l detonate them simultaneously. It will be a big surprise for everypony. The pink mare giggled and walked forward to a box on the wall. Somepony had painted a big lightning bolt upon it and under it stood the word DANGER in big letters. Several wires went out from the box and into the floor.

"This must be the power relay sending sparks into the meanie sparkies. Well Mr power say your last prayer cause aunt Pinkie is here to put an end to you once and for all." She took one of the pink blocks and opened the box and fastened it on the inside.

Four power plants later Pinkie stood behind a large rock a few yards away. She then took out a remote detonator. On it where a antenna that sent the signal to the magic dough's so they detonated. Pinkie pushed the green button on the detonator.

"Booooom!" The four power plants exploded violently and turned into rubble. Pinkie felt a tickle in her hooves, a new form of Pinkie sense which she had never experienced before. She could hear guards violently shouting and she heard hoofsteps coming her way. "Okay Dash now it's up to you!"

That explosion had alerted the whole camp. Dash counted ten Pegasi moving towards Pinkie. She ran towards the cave entrance and took the pistol she got from Pinkie with her mouth and put her tongue on the trigger. "Nopony hurts my friends!" She then fired the whole magazine into the crowd.

"Pang, Pang, Pang!"

Many of the shots hit several guards and when the remaining of them turned to Rainbow Dash Pinkie jumped forwards from behind a giant rock and finished them of.. She held her pistol in her mane instead of her mouth. They made quick work of the Pegasi guards that where caught in their surprise attack.

"Well that was easy enough, C'mon Pinkie let´s go find Twilight!" Dash looks over at the pink mare.

"Rainbow Dash, we killed these ponies in cold blod, they are dead!"

"Bucking Shit, you're right.. I..I never..."

"And I don't even feel a tinnsy tannsy bit different, It scares me Dash. We murdered these ponies and I don't feel sorry for them!"

Dash on the other hoof looked shocked over the bloody scene. "What have we done, think of these ponies what.. what if they had families or maybe.."

"Dash do you remember what Applejack said, that we will face versions of ourselfs that we didn't knew existed?"

"Yeah, what about it?"

"I think I this is exactly what she was talking about, I never could have imagined that I am a psycho, a cold blooded killer..."

"Pinkie you're no psycho you are a..."

"A killer, and we both now it."

"NO! You are a cherish party pony and one of my best friends, and that is something we both now. I don't care if you kill every single solar soldier, you are still the same pony and friend in my eyes."

"Thanks Dash. But seriously how are you holding up? You look completely devastated."

"I don't know Pinkie, I feel terrible for what I did but at the same time I feel that they deserved it, I just don't know..."

Pinkie walks over to Rainbow Dash and gives her a long hug.

"What if they had children or..or..."

"It's okay Dash, I think you have a point where you say that they deserved it. These were solar terrorists that attacks civilians and abducts them. Who knows what kind of meanie pants these ponies where."

"You're right, these where monsters that took our friend. C'mon let's get Twilight!"

"Right behind you sister."

Twilight wondered what was going on out there. First she hears a giant explosion and then all of a sudden the warden runs out of the prison and then she hears some gunshots and now all went silent. Was it her brother who had come to save her? Or was it somepony else? She had the perfect opportunity to escape only if she could get this stupid padlock to open, but no of course she would be worthless at picking locks. If only she had read a book about it...

"Slaam" The door to the prison opens and in comes..,

"Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie! What are you doing here!?"

"Saving you silly." Pinkie jumped forwards to the cell where Twilight was. "Oh uh, looks like we need a key to save you. Dash do you got the key?"

"No, but I got something better." The Pegasus bit of one of her feathers from her healthy wing and walked forward to the lock. She put the feather inside of the lock and coaxed with it.

"Click" The lock opened and fell of.

"Where in the wide realm of Equestria did you learn that?" Twilight said accusingly.

"I read it in a book."

"Really, which one?"

"Daring Do and The Griffon's Goblet, page hundred and fifty three, row nine."

"You're kidding right?"

"No, on page hundred and fifty three Daring Do uses one of her wing feathers to open up a padlock. Really Twilight I thought that you knew those books, as a fellow Daring Do fan i'm disappointed."

"How did you two even get here?"

Pinkie took a long breath and began. "It all began when Rainbow Dash..."

"Pinkie maybe it's better that I tell the short version?"

"Aaaw, okay Dash."

"The short version that I flew here and then Pinkie appeared and then she blew up the power plants. After that we defeated the guards and then we came here."

"Wait you killed..."

"Yes Twilight, bang, bang, bang."

"We didn't enjoy it but it had to be done."

"Good."

"What!?"

"Look Rainbow Dash, I wont judge you for what you did. We are on the edge of a war and these where terrorist responsible for several attacks on civilians. They deserved to die!"

"Wow, I never imagined you being so..."

"Cold?, Judging?"

"Yeah, seems like yesterday we were in Ponyville and all this horseshit were worlds away."

"It was silly!"

"We better get out of here girls, thanks again for the rescue." The three mares joined in a group hug. "Love you girls."

"Love you too egghead."

"I love cake. Especially the frosting."

They all burst into laughter at Pinkie's silly comment.

"Where is everypony else? Did Shining Armor really send you alone?"

"Hehe, not really. We could say I volunteered."

"Rainbow Dash! You could have gotten yourself killed!"

"I know okay, now you sound like my dad!"

Outside you could hear the sound of several vehicles coming to a stop.

"This is not good!"

"If only you hadn't wasted time on all those questions we would been out of here long ago!"

"Me? Well Rainbow if only you could have waited for everypony else we wouldn't be trapped here now."

"If I had waited who knows what would have happened, maybe those vehicles are here to transport you into the Solar Empire."

"Ooh girls you are you so silly, those are our friends." Pinkie giggled.

"And how do you know that?"

"Because earlier when the guards where searching for me I felt a fun tickle in my hooves and I don't feel it now. Oh and the ponies out there are also shouting our names."

"Twily!?"

"Dashie!?"

The three ponies runs out only to be met by four auto wagons. In front of them stands several crystal rifleponies and Shining Armor, Rainbow Blaze and the rest of their friends.

"TWILY, You're safe!"

"BBBFF!" The two siblings reunited in a big hug. Right after Spike comes running and joins the hug.

"Twilight, never do that again!"

Then the rest of the friends joins the hug.

"You okay sugarcube?"

"Oh we were so worried!"

"Did those ruffians hurt you darling?"

Twilight smiles at her friends after the emotional reunion. "I'm okay guys, thanks to Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie.

"Heh, it was nothing Twilight, Pinkie did most anyway."

Shining Armor interrupts the friends. "I think it's best if we returned to the Crystal Alliance as quickly as possible. We never know if there are more solar soldiers on their way."

As they walks towards the auto wagons one pony stays behind.

"Dashie, come here!"

Rainbow Dash gets a very annoyed look upon her face as she turn to face her father. Fluttershy lands beside her. "Trust me it'll be okay."

"We'll catch up with you later sir" Blaze says to Shining Armor.

"Okay, just be back for the briefing later." Then the four wagons drives away and only the two Pegasi remains in the base.

"Dashie..."

"Look I already know what you are going to say. That I am way to reckless and that i'm way to young for this and that I must return home. But you know what? It's to late for that because I killed those guards you know, I murdered them and there is nothing you can do about it!"

The Pegasus mare begins to cry. Blaze goes forward to his daughter and embraces her. "I'm proud of you."

"What.."

"I'm so proud of you, what you did where no easy thing but still you pushed trough and saved your friend."

"But shouldn't you call me reckless or..."

"Perhaps running away into enemy territory all alone isn't the best idea, but that doesn't change the fact that you did all you could to save your friend. You're brave Dashie. Brave and strong. And I am so proud of you and I know that your mother would've been as proud."

"But I killed those ponies... I'm a monster."

"No you're not. Those ponies would've done the same or worse to you, and you did it to help your friend. And I'm sure you found no joy in it. You are a true and loyal friend, just as I taught you. And do you know what, just that you are shocked by killing those ponies makes me even more proud. I love you Dashie and nothing can ever change that."

"I love you too. Um dad?"

"Yes Dashie?"

"I would appreciate if this just stayed between the two of us. You know I don't like the idea of my friends finding out that I've been crying. I have a image to keep and all that."

"Of course Dashie, you can trust me with anything."

"Maybe it's time for us to catch up with the others?"

"Yes just one more thing, I've been thinking about this much and now i'm certain that this is a good idea. I have come to the decision that you will be the captain leading our attack clouds and Pegasi, if you're game of course."

"OMIGOSH, OMIGOSH, OMIGOSH, OMIGOSH!!!" DAD YOU ARE AWESOME."

"Hehe, I didn't though't that you would be so thrilled about it."

"This means the world to me dad, this shows that you trust me and believes in me."

"I have always believed in you Dashie. Just a reminder, if you accept this then I expect you to follow my orders and never do this again. Understood?"

"Yes dad, um I meant sir."

Chapter 7: Solar Empire 4: The Cloudsdale Liberation Front

Location: Sky above Equestria, CLF headquarters.

The sky. So big. Infinite it went on forever and ever, up and up into the blue. It held infinite opportunities as well. At least that was what Spitfire thought. She said that if Celestia controlled the sky she would soon control all of Equestria. All that stood in their way where those in Cloudsdale stupid enough to resist the might of the CLF.

Soon all of the clouds would belong to Celestia. It was inevitable, they gained more and more supporters each day and after the loss of their beloved generals most Pegasi lost fate in their government. And that was where Spitfire came in, gave them their hope back, promising them a safe place in the new world. Pegasi came from all corners of Equestria to join on the winning side. Of course many still resisted, even after all the threats and promises made, but a large enough part of the population where on the CLF's side. A civil war was coming and from the ashes of it a new Cloudsdale will rise. A Cloudsdale under Celestia's banner. Led by Spitfire they would bring honor to the Pegasus race again.

After her last trip to Cloudsdale even Lightning Dust was surprised to see how many supporters they had. Over half of the Cloudsdale citizens supported Celestia and over seventy five percent of those Pegasi has joined the CLF. She had really done a good job back in Cloudsdale, organizing everything. Spitfire would be proud over her. She never disappointed her mentor, she couldn't, not after she gained the honor of personally organizing the CLF inside of Cloudsdale. One wrong action or order and then the Cloudsdale council would find out all about their operation and then all would have been for nothing. It was a sensitive and demanding task that only the best of ponies could handle. Then again she was one of the best.

Walking towards Spitfire's office Lightning Dust spotted so many familiar sights. Pegasi training their attack patterns, technicians making weekly maintenance on the attack clouds and of course the newbies getting their flanks busted by the drill sergeant. But today everything seemed different. Everypony looked way busier than usual. Then again the invasion was less than a week away. Only a week and then she would stand next to her idol and mentor as they together changed the world. She hadn't felt this excited since she first met Spitfire years ago. She was just a filly back then, oh what she had grown during the years. The admiration she had felt for Spitfire her hole life began as a silly fillyhood idol, but now it was so much more. Admiration had turned into deeper feelings. Feelings that Spitfire would only respond on if she made her proud.

There it was, the CLF command stable. It was a grand building similar to the Cloudsdale council temple. It was completely made out of clouds, like any Pegasus building. At the stairs on each side stood a giant cloud statue of Celestia. The clouds had always been beautiful in their own way thought Lightning Dust. No need for any gold or gems.

Inside the command stable was a huge lobby with staircases leading up to the next floor. Banners hung on the wall representing the Wonderbolts insignia surrounded by flames. That was the CLF symbol. Only by looking at the banners Lightning Dust felt her hearth beating faster and she could burst with pride. Looking on the banner she saw the future of Equestria. A future she was a part of. This was her goal in life, to stand side by side with Spitfire as they formed a new era for the Pegasus race.

She walked up for the middle staircase and then she went into a long corridor. At the end was a door. At each side of the door stood a guard in the CLF uniform, very similar to the Wonderbolts uniform expect that it didn't cover the hind legs or the head. On their head they whore blue military caps. They had a sub machine gun on each side of their flanks attached to a belt.

"I am expected by general Spitfire."

The guards opened the door. Inside was a small office with a desk and some posters and maps on the walls. Behind the desk sat a yellow coated Pegasus mare with a fiery orange mane. She wore a blue suit and had a pair of shades. She looked up at her visitor. "What a pleasant surprise, my best flier Lighting Dust. Please enter."

"How was your last trip to Helios City Spitfire? Sir!"

"Well besides from that Celestia has found the most annoying pony ever as her newest pet and ally, and also that my Wonderbolts becomes more ignorant and worthless with each passing day it was a nice and rewarding trip. I'm lucky to have you, otherwise iv'e been completely surrounded by worthless imbeciles!"

Lightning Dust blushed by the compliment. "Thank you Spitfire, Sir! You are too kind."

"Oh but i'm not, I only rewards those worthy of it and you know you are my best. So how was your own trip? How is it going in Cloudsdale? Does the plan go along as planned?"

"Spitfire, Sir! I got the best of news. Over half of the Cloudsdale citizens supports Celestia and the Council are losing more power each day. More and more are demonstrating for Celestia and our CLF network have expanded throughout the whole city. Over seventy five percent of all Celestia supporters have joinined the CLF. The only problem is that the council have begun arresting many of our supporters and the rest of the city have declared their hatred towards Celestia. Also Cloudsdale military have increased by twenty five percent. But these minor things wont be any trouble when we choose to strike."

"Wait did you say that seventy five percent of our supporters have joined our forces?"

"Yes Spitfire, Sir!"

"That's a god damn record! I knew I could trust on you making the best results. You have made both me and Celestia proud. Now I know she will approve of your promotion."

"Promotion? Spitfire, Sir!"

"Well yes of course, I wont be able to stay in Cloudsdale, i'll be needed in the war and we need somepony to be in command in my absence. I want that somepony to be you!"

"Me? I'm honored Spitfire, Sir!"

"So do you accept?"

"Sir yes sir!"

"Please Lightning Dust to you it's just Spitfire." She gave the turquoise mare in front of her a warm smile. "You have deserved it."

Lightning Dust's hearth started to beat faster and her cheeks got a bright red color. "Thanks Spitfire."

"In less than a week the invasion will start. As Celestia's army attacks the Crystal Alliance's border we will strike at Cloudsdale. I will meet you here and then we move our army to attack Cloudsdale. As we do so our operatives inside the city will launch their attack as well. When the Cloudsdale army finds themselves between two enemies they will be an easy prey. While our army takes the city, the two of us moves in to assassinate the Cloudsdale council."

"What about the other Wonderbolts? And what if the griffons comes to aid them, then we will be caught between two enemies instead."

"My fellow Wonderbolts won't be making it sadly, they are all needed in the first assault. Soarin will lead our platoons of infantry, Fire Streak will lead our tanks and Fleetfoot will lead our attack clouds. As for Surprise she will lead our submarine fleet into the Crystal bay. So that only leaves the two of us to liberate Cloudsdale. As for the griffons they will have their own problems to deal with."

This must be the best news Lightning Dust have received ever. First she gets the role as acting commander of Cloudsdale and then she get's to be all alone with Spitfire during the assault. Her life couldn't be better right now.

"Knock, knock"

"Yes what is it?"

"Spitfire, Sir! Two of our soldiers are here claiming that they are the only survivors of an assault on camp Hollow Spire"

"What! Send them in!"

In comes two young Pegasi stallions. One of them has a dark brown coat and a white mane while the other one has a white coat and a dark brown mane.

"Private Leathers reporting." The dark brown stallion says.

"Private Feathers reporting, Sir!" The white stallion says.

"You two fools will greet general Spitfire with proper respect. You will say Spitfire, Sir! Otherwise we'll..."

"It's okay Lightning Dust, these two aren't used to meeting the chain of command. So you say that camp Snow Spire has been attacked? By what?"

"By two mares Spitfire, Sir!" Feathers answered.

"Wait wasn't the pink one a stallion. With the mustache and all?"Leathers looked very confused.

Spitfire removed her shades. "Wait, you say that our camp got assaulted and destroyed by two mares? We had over ten soldiers there. And those new Trixie Coils. How is that possible!?" Spitfire gave the two stallions a deadly gaze.

"Well they where really smart, one of them sneaked past our defenses and..."

"You can't sneak past a Trixie Coil, you idiot! The only way to get past them is to wear our uniforms. And that means the mare infiltrated the base! So please tell me the truth of what happened!"

"Well you see..., sir that the pink mare had a solar soldier uniform and..."

"You let somepony with a solar uniform into the base!? You idiots, the solar army aren't even supposed to know where our bases are located!"

"But she claimed she was a part of the PLF and that she had been transferred to us from camp Cupcake." Leathers whined.

"Camp Cupcake seriously? And what in the hay is the PLF!?"

"The Ponyville Liberation Front, Sir!" Feathers replied.

"The buck is that, look you two..."

"Eey Feathers private Pink Mustache told the truth after all, not even general Spatfire knows about the PLF."

"GENERAL SPITFIRE YOU IDIOT!" Lightning Dust roared in the face of Leathers.

"Whoa no need to be rude baby." Feathers defended his Twin.

"Asking of permission to punch Private Feathers in the face Spitfire?"

"Permission granted."

"Bang" Lightning Dust showed of her physical strength and sent Feathers to the ground.

"Ouch, that was mean."

"Never call me baby you pathetic fool! Now listen carefully to Spitfire or worse things will happen to you two fools!"

"Thanks Lightning Dust. I'm so lucky to have you around me. And as for you two you'll..."

"Wait Spitfire, Sir. We got more to report."

"Yes after private Pink Mustache got past us all of the power plants blew up."

"And then this rainbow maned Pegasus mare flies past us as quick as the light. Then everypony starts shooting and suddenly we are the only guards left."

"Wait did the rainbow haired mare have a sky blue coat. And how comes you survived!?"

"Well we kinda hid... And yes, yes she had a coat as blue as the sky."

"Bucking hay shit! Spitfire that mare was Rainbow Dash!"

"And who is this Rainbow Dash?" Spitfire raised her eyebrow.

"She's an old adversary. We competed in the best young fliers competition. She cheated over me and won. She is also able to create a sonic rainboom."

"A SONIC RAINBOOM!"

"Yes and now she's fighting for the allies. This is not good Spitfire, she's one of the best fliers around."

"Yes she can be a problem...But what I wonder right now is why Cadance would send one of the best fliers in Equestria to assault one of our smallest camps."

"She was probably there to save the unicorn mare we captured earlier. Sir!"

"You had a prisoner in the base?"

"Yes a purple unicorn. We captured her on one of our train raids. I think her friends called her Twilight or something."

"What! You had Twilight Sparkle, Luna's own student and then let her slip!" Spitfire gave the two stallions a even deadlier gaze.

"All i know about her is that her flank was hot..."

"Shut up fool!" Spitfire interrupted Leathers. "This is bad news... Looks like Luna sent some help after all. And with that mare Rainbow Dash on the allies side, it looks like the allies have gained a huge asset to their army. Lightning Dust looks like I have to cut my visit here short. I'ts essential that Celestia receives these news right away."

"Okay Spitfire, but what shall we do with these two idiots?" Lightning Dust pointed her hoof over at the two stallions.

"Well they did desert their fellow soldiers by hiding, but by doing so they gave us valuable Intel. They may be stupid but that doesn't mean they don't still have any value. They'll stay here." Spitfire turned to face the two stallions. You two fools are to stay with my friend over here. You will do everything she tells you to and you will serve her as she was Celestia herself. Understood!?"

"Sir yes Sir!"

"Yes Spatfire."

"Good." Spitfire turned to Lightning Dust. "Use these two in whatever way you wish they are now yours to command. I'l be back in a week and then we will begin the assault. Until then you will be in charge of everything."

"Thank you Spitfire. I'm honored."

"I'l see you in a week then." Spitfire opened the door and walked out of the room. She quickly spoke to her guards and then she went down the hallway. The two stallions kept staring at her flank as she walked down the corridor.

"She's hot."

"I bet she can do some tricks with you in bed."

Lightning Dust's thoughts became black at the stallions comments. Nopony would come in the way of her and Spitfire. "Look you pathetic virgins! If i ever catch you staring at her again i'l poke your eyeballs out understood!? And don't even dare to think those words again or i'l rip your tongues out with my bare hoofs!"

"Okay, okay Sir."

"Right Sir."

"Now let's go we have a army to organize."

"Sunshine sunshine, ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves and do a little shake." The two mares joined in laughter and a big hug.

"Is this really what we're supposed to do right now? I thought we had a war to prepare for!"

"Relax Blackbeak, that's how they greet each other. Trust me they've been doing it since i was a young colt." Shining armor replied with a smile.

"Relax, we need to do all but relax! There's a army on our borders and you tell me to relax!"

"Yes I do. Because it's things like these we fight for. Love and friendship. Things Celestia don't understand or cares for. Without it then what's left to fight for? This is what makes us different from them. They are driven by hatred and hunger for power. We must unite as friends to even have a chance of winning this war."

"I kinda agree with Shining. We gain strength from those we love." Rainbow Blaze added.

"Yes we'll see what friendship does when the Solar Empire burns our homes."

Twilight walked forward to the griffon. "Mr Blackbeak I once thought like you. I thought I was stronger alone, but I've never been so wrong in my entire life. Friendship is Magic. With friendship we can achieve anything."

"Well how about you use your magic and win this war for us?"

"Twilight is the smartest and most powerful unicorn there is. If somepony can make a difference it's her." Shining Armor gave her sister a hug.

"Mr Armor and Mr Rainbow I must ask where where you during the first war?"

"I was a colt in magic kindergarden in Canterlot."

"And I had just begun the flight school back in Cloudsdale. Why are you asking?"

"I was in the first war." Blackbeak walked over to a window and stared out. "I still remember the horror like it was yesterday. Every single one of my friends died beside me. One by one. Stuck in the muddy trenches under constant fire. I was one of the first they sent to the front. And I was there during four years. Death and disease became a part of my normal day. They said it was a miracle I survived. It was a wonder that I didn't went insane. For it they made me general. They called me a hero. That war broke all of Equestria. And now it returns in the form of an old ally. The Northcolt Empire fought with us as allies against the Crystal ponies. And now i'm standing here in the country i once swore to my generals to destroy, facing my old allies... It's strange really how things can change so quickly."

"And what's your point with all this?" Rainbow Blaze asked.

"My point is that both you and Shining Armor are inexperienced strategists and new to war. You where not even a military less than a week ago Mr Rainbow. And now we face the biggest treat ever known to us. How are we supposed to win this." With a sigh the griffin continued. "I can't help to wonder what would have happened if the Northcolt Empire never would have fallen in the first place. What if all this could have been avoided. Somehow, someway. "

Cadence walks over to the griffon. I'ts best to not think of what could have been and stay focused on the coming times. We may have been enemies once but now we are allies and friends. And we are in this together. And we both know that the last war was a horrible disaster between our peoples that shall never, ever be repeated. But we must remember that most where forced into the slaughter by the ones in charge. Remember Hearth's Warming Eve the first year of the war. When we ignored our commanders and joined together in love and laughter in the middle of the war. We may look different but on the inside we are all the same." Cadance held her hoof on the griffins chest over his hearth.

"You are right princess. It's just that I have seen the Intel our spies brought us. It scares my feathers of me. Just compare theirs weapons to ours. You crystal ponies haven't constructed a single rifle since the last war. We griffons haven't made much weapons either. Our armies consists of twenty year old weaponry and rusted armor and what are we facing. We are facing the fires of Tartarus itself."

"We are not alone. You don't know these ponies but trust me I do. Shining Armor is Luna's best general and Twilight is the smartest unicorn in all of Equestria. As for her friends you have already seen that they are a huge asset. They are a very special and talented group of ponies."

Twilight joined the conversation. "And remember Mr Blackbeak we have friendship. The most powerful of all magics. Nothing, not even Celestia's fires can destroy it."

The door of the room opens and in comes five mares and a dragon. Rainbow Dash has a bandage around her wings. Twilight joins them in a great group hug. After the hug the six mares turns to face the other generals. They are all standing around a cyber map of Equestria. At the walls of the room are several computers running different programs.

"How's the wing Dashie?" Rainbow Blaze walks towards his daughter.

"It's okay I guess, the medic says i will fly in a week again. I can't believe I crashed in the middle of our race. Stupid wings always fails me when I needs them the most."

"Well then maybe you shouldn't fly when half o' your wing is burnt of sugarcube. Applejack answered with a smile.

"I agree with Applejack, darling you could have been badly hurt." Rarity looks at her Pegasus friend with worried eyes.

"Pfft, then maybe dad shouldn't challenge me on a raze when my wings are burnt. You probably knew I was going to crash in advance so that's why you challenged me!"

"Ms Rainbow, this is hardly the time for you to make jokes. What you did was unacceptable, you could have compromised the whole mission. And as for you Ms Pie!.." The black griffin and his beak where up in Pinkies face.

"I love Pie, you got any?" The pink mare only smiled back at the griffin.

"Stealing from our military supplies. If you two where under my command I would have had you both court martialed and absolutely not promoted!"

"You doubting my judgment as a general Mr Blackbeak?" Rainbow Blaze walks towards the griffin and stares into his big eyes.

"No I don't, but I suspect that your personal feelings where involved in the matter."

"I made her my captain because she is the best flier we have and also the only Pegasi in all of Equestria that can perform a sonic rainboom! I think that alone is a good enough reason."

"Still you choose a captain that acts on her own, and defies orders."

Rainbow Dash flies up in the face of the big griffin. "You got a grudge against me or my dad!? Huh? If so maybe we should..."

"Everyone calm down." Cadance walks between Rainbow Dash and Blackbeak. "There is no point in petty fights. We are all in this together."

"He insulted my dad! Nopony or griffin..."

"It's okay Dashie, I can understand his doubt. Rainbow Blaze turns to face Blackbeak. "But trust me my griffin friend, when I say that Dashie is perfect for the job I mean it."

Shining Armor give his two subordinates a serious look."Is everyone done with arguing so we can get on with the briefing? Good." Shining Armor activated the map with a glow from his horn. "As we all know time is of the essence so i'll get to the point." He turns towards Twilight and her friends. "Cadance and I have been discussing and we have concluded that each one of you have something you can do to aid us. Rainbow Dash you already got your assignment from Mr Rainbow and therefore you'll be taking your orders from him."

"I wont let anypony down."

"As for you other five I have very important tasks for you as well. Pinkie Pie, you have already proven yourself as a excellent infiltrator, and how silly as it may sound your pinkie sense is an invaluable asset in those situations. That's why you will be one of our top spies. It will be your job to gather Intel on the enemy and sabotage enemy bases. You will join our spy team."

"Ooh, I have a spy outfit on me." The pink mare takes out a black jumpsuit and a pair of night vision goggles of her tail hair. She equips them in a second. "This will be fun so fun."

"Twily, you and Rarity will use your knowledge and magic in our labs and help our scientists develop new weapons to help us win this war. You will also be the one personally in charge over all our scientists and research projects."

"Wait a moment now Darling. I know nothing about science or weapons. Are you sure that I will be of any use down in the labs?"

"You maybe don't know anything about science Rarity, but you are one hell of a fashionista. And that will be extremely useful for the designs of new armors and weapons. Don't worry, together with Twilight I know you'll make a perfect team." Shining armor turns to Fluttershy. "We are currently in great need of medics. We all know how much you care about the well being of others, also you are an expert on the healing of woodland animals. Therefore I would ask of you to use that knowledge and help those ponies who get hurt in the war. We won't send you to the front unless you don't want to."

"I'm honored that you would want my help, and I will do all i can to save those who need it wherever they may be. I must be brave."

"As for you Applejack, I want you to be a part of our commando task force. Your job will be to cripple the Solar Empire through small operations and clever tactics. You and Pinkie Pie will work together as much as possible under my own command. Rainbow Dash and her attack clouds will cover you with air support whenever they are able to."

"Um, excuse me Shining Armor but I would love if I was to help ponies together with my friends. So can I be a part of that team. Um if it's okay?"

"Yes, of course Fluttershy. You will keep the task force patched up and make sure everypony get's through the missions. None of you need to do this but you shall know that both Cadance and I are so proud of you. Your service towards the allied nations of Equestria shall not be forgotten."

"Wait, Shining Armor what's my job? I mean everypony got a task except me..." Spike looks up to the stallion disappointed. Twilight walks over to him.

"Who do you think will be my personal assistant?"

"Really?"

"Of course, who else." Twilight hugs the dragon.

Shining Armor looks happily at his sister."As we all have our tasks now it's time to go through the current situation. Mr Rainbow what's the report on Cloudsdale? Are there any more Pegasi coming to aid us?"

"Sadly more and more are beginning to support Celestia. Ponies are afraid of her, and the CLF uses that fear to gain supporters and execute operations in the shadows. Our reports shows that more than half of Cloudsdale supports the CLF. How many of those ponies that actually are a part of the organisation is currently unknown but we fear that the number is very high. Also the streets of Cloudsdale are beginning to become a battleground of themselves. Many anti Celestian splinter groups have started to assault innocent civilians because they suspected them of being CLF operatives. The only good news I have is that many Pegasi have joined the Cloudsdale army."

"Does this mean that we are getting more Pegasi to help us?" Both Shining Armor and Cadance looked hopeful for once. Blackbeak still had the same cold look.

"I'm sorry but no. The council sends their greatest apologies and says that all other Cloudsdale military except the Hurricane Attack Clouds must remain in Cloudsdale because of the threats made by the CLF and also because of the great chances that a civil war will erupt."

All hope went out of Shining Armors eyes. "Okay, I see. Well send them our thanks and sympathy anyways."

"I will sir. I'm sorry Shining Armor. I wish they had sent more but the situation in Cloudsdale is looking very bad..."

"It's okay Blaze. You did all you could have done." Shining Armor turns to face the black griffin. "How is the situation in the Griffon Kingdom Blackbeak?"

"Better than rest of Equestria. The president tells me that all of our available Talon Medium tanks will soon be transferred to my command here in Crystal Germaneigh. Also we are gaining more recruits at our military camps each day."

"Will you send any fliers to aid us?"

"Although we griffons can soar the skies as our Pegasi friends are there very few who can do this with skill. We may have wings but we are not in the same league as a skilled Pegasi. Once upon time we griffons where the champions of the sky but that where long ago, in the age of lost harmony. My government chose to invest in rockets and heavy armor instead of training assault fliers. I doubt that it was a good idea, but that's how our army is today and now there is not much we can do about it."

"I guess we'll have to be satisfied with those fifty clouds then. Luckily we got a sonic rainboom on our hooves then."

Cadance stands next to Shining Armor. " Earlier this morning I got a message from princess Luna's secretary. It was short, all it told us where that we should tune in on LNN this afternoon." Cadance walks towards a large TV screen on the wall. With a spark from her horn the screen starts. A orange unicorn with a short white mane appears. Everyone else in the room turned to look at the TV.

"Welcome back to Lunar News Network. I am your host Peach Cream and today I got three very interesting guests with me in the studio. Everypony please welcome Princess Luna's very own agents, The Shadowbolts!" In comes three Pegasi. But they where no normal Pegasi. Instead of feather wings they had bat wings made of leather. They whore purple uniforms that covered their whole bodies except for the ears and the mouth. The head and hoofs of the uniforms where black. Yellow lightning bolts separated the black and purple. On their eyes they had yellow goggles.

"OMIGOSH, OMIGOSH, OMIGOSH. That is so awesome, The Shadowbolts. On TV! That's Shadowdust their captain. Her mane looks like the night itself." Rainbow Dash pointed at a black mare with a mane that looked like flowing purple shadows. "Oh, oh and that's Moonshine. He's the only pony that can fly better when he is drunk than sober." Now she pointed at a stallion with a light blue coat. His mane was grey with purple streaks. "And over there is Starfall. When she flies it looks like she is a falling star." Now she pointed at a light grey mare with a half white and half black mane.

The unicorn on the TV continued. "Welcome Shadowbolts. It's such an honor to have you here today. As great it is to have such grand guests in the studio today I must ask of you what many of our viewers are right now asking themselves, why are you here? Aren't you busy on government duties? Especially with the coming war and all that."

"Well it was Luna who ordered us to make this appearance in the first place. But we do understand if ponies got a lot of questions to ask us, that is in fact the reason we are here tonight."

"To answer the viewers questions?"

"Well yes, sort of. As everypony knows it has been worried in rest of Equestria the past months. We all understand the fear ponies feel against the Solar Empire. We are here tonight by the order of her royal majesty Luna to put some of your fears to rest."

"So you mean that we got nothing to fear, when armies are marching towards our neighbors and friends?"

"No, there is a war coming. Of that there is no doubt. But what most ponies don't know is what we are facing. Many believe that we are facing a giant nation of monsters. That is not the truth, many solar ponies are normal ponies like you and me.Sadly there are also many who believes Celestia to be some sort goddess and they would gladly sacrifice them self's in her name. Celestia rules her country through fear and violence and lies. Her laws makes you join the army or you'll not be able to make a living. That's how her forces can be so many in numbers.

" Sort of, she and her closest generals rules the country with an iron hoof. Also a big part of Celestia's army are war prisoners she has taken from annexed countries. So remember this everypony, not all of the solar ponies are monsters."

"But what about the situation in Cloudsdale? There ponies are gathering under Celestia's banner. Does these ponies also believes Celestia to be some sort of goddess?"

"There is a very unstable situation up in the clouds that is unfolding very quickly, and we are aware of this. But what you see here is the same thing, fear. The CLF scares the Pegasi of Cloudsdale and they uses this fear to create a civil war. Ponies that are afraid are easier to control. A scared pony is easier to fool."

"Many of our viewers have expressed their opinions about Luna's choice to not aid the Crystal Ponies and I must say that even I was very surprised by this decision. Do you have any reason for not helping our friends?"

"I can't comment on that. But what I can say, is that ponies got nothing to fear. Luna got everything under control. That was all."

The three bat ponies exits the studio as quick as they came. The unicorn in the studio looks very confused. "Well everypony..."

"Bzzzt" Cadance turns of the TV again.

"And that was useful to us how? We already knew that about Celestia's army." Rainbow Blaze looks at the black screen with doubt.

"At least Luna is confident in her own victory, but I agree with you Mr Rainbow this was just a waste of our time and..."

"It was a message." Cadance interrupts the griffin. "Luna ensures us that she is ready for the Solar Empire."

"Then why doesn't she send any soldiers!?" Blackbeak looks very annoyed.

"I have no idea. But I trust her and I hope that it is a part of her plans to stop Celestia."

"I for one think this was a terrible waste of our time! General Armor, what's our..."

Blackbeak get's interrupted by a soldier entering the room. "General Armor! Our spies just received these pictures!" The crystal soldier shows up several pictures of a solar military base up in the mountains.

"Buck! Don't tell me that's the hidden pass between Crystal Alliance and the Griffon Empire!"

"It is."

"That is the only path between our lands that has remained undamaged by the last war. And it's also where our reinforcements will be arriving in a day from the griffons. Dammit! Blackbeak we must warn them. If they get caught in the pass...."

"There is no time! We must clear the pass before the convoy arrives! Mr Rainbow what do we have in that area to work with?"

"Not much, and time is against us. But we could fly in an Mobile Construction Stable and a small team with one of my transport clouds."

"It looks like you just got your first mission. Shining Armor turns to Applejack and Fluttershy. I need you two to accompany the MCS together with a small team and make sure that we clear out the pass. Set up a small base and wipe out the enemy base. Applejack I will give you orders directly from here, but it will be up to you to clear the pass. Fluttershy you must make sure that our casualties stays at a minimum. You think you can handle it?"

"Yee-ha partner, wad'ya waiting for."

"Yes I will help anypony who might get hurt. Just don't let them shoot at me, um if it's okay?"

"Don't worry sugarcube i'l keep ya safe."

"Heey, what about me and Pinkie Pie. We can also help!" Rainbow Dash flies up to Shining Armor.

"I would love to have you there as well but you are needed back here. Blaze needs your help with the planning of our Attack Clouds and as for you Pinkie, It's time for you to meet up with our other spies." He turns to Applejack. "Meet me back here in an hour. You should go down to the armory and get some weapons and armor. Trust me you'll need it." He then turns to Fluttershy. "You should go down to the hospital. Make sure you get enough supplies for the whole mission. Tell them i sent you. Go past the armory as well. You'll need a helmet."

"Oh my goodness."

"You all got your orders. Dismissed."

When the other leaves the room two unicorns and a dragon remains with the generals. Cadance activates one of the computers. Shining armor gives a nod to both Rainbow Blaze and Blackbeak. They leaves the room as well.

"Twilight, what you are about to see is our greatest invention yet." On the computer screen appears some sort of machine. It looks like a box with an opening in the middle. A large cord goes from the opening into the side of the box. "Cadance?"

"This is the Cronosphere spell generator. It's supposed to be an mass-teleportation device able to teleport our vehicles across giant distances in seconds. The original plan was to Crono-shift a small team into Helios City and capture Celestia in her own palace. Sadly we've had great complications with the function and the effects of the spell. Especially when it comes to the shifting of larger materials. Also it has some unpleasant side effects..."

"A mass teleporter!" Twilight shone with enthusiasm. "Brilliant Cadance, how did you get the idea of this, and how where you able to convert a simple teleportation spell into mass teleportation across giant distances?"

"Well that's the strangest thing of them all, we got the blueprints in a letter from somepony unknown. At first I thought it was Luna who had sent it but I found a note together with the blueprints."

"A note? Did it reveal anything about the sender or the machine itself?"

"No all it said was that we must use the machine that have doomed Equestria to save it. It was signed by somepony named the Dr. Didn't reveal much, but we followed the instructions and constructed the Cronosphere mark one. The function of the machine itself is highly unstable. I believe that the Dr's original design had another purpose than teleportation but that's just a wild guess. Your number one priority will be to improve and complete the works of the Cronosphere."

Twilight clapped her hooves in delight. "When can I get started? Do I get my own lab..."

"Calm down Twily."Shining armor laid his hoof over Twilight's neck. "There will be plenty of time for you to get to know your own personal lab in the basement of the Crystal Palace. As the head scientist in charge you'll need the best lab we have. And of course all of the other scientists will be under your command."

"All of the others... Shiny we have only one scientist down in the labs. One. And he is probably the most unpleasant pony I've ever met." Cadance turned to Twilight. "He will most likely complain on everything about you if you are lucky that is. I can fire him if you find him too rude or annoying. That goes for all three of you, if he hinders your work in any way just tell me and i'll have him transferred or fired." Cadance smiled at the two unicorns and the dragon.

"Really, who is this pleasant pony then?" Twilight asked.

"Dr Josef Mengelmare, a extremely rude but brilliant Scientist. He's got the idea that I have betrayed our country and made us the griffons pets. He hates everything, especially griffons and of course me. The only thing stronger than his hatred for me is his love for Crystal Germaneigh. He will probably ask for your permission to develop bio-weapons or something even worse after he's done insulting you. Whatever you do don't allow it. I will not allow our soldiers to use such horrible weapons. I have fought for years of the disarmament of such weapons and he seeks to restore Crystal Germaneigh to it's so called former glory.

"Of course Cadance, you can count on us. We will do all we can to create um, ethical but effective weapons."'

"You have my word as an lady that we will do our best."

"Yea, we'll build giant weapons that will burn the solar ponies back to Tartarus. Hehe, the irony they call themselves solar ponies and then we burn them hahaha." Everypony gave Spike a serious gaze.

"SPIKE!! What in the hay didn't you understand with ethical?"

"What? There is nothing wrong with fire. I breathe fire for ponies sake!"

"Spikey Wikey, we can't burn our enemies that's no way for a gentlecolt or a lady to behave. Also it's dangerous for those soldiers using it, they can be caught in it as well." Rarity gave the young dragon her warmest smile.

"I think it's best we keep Spike and Mengelmare apart from each other. He would probably get the idea of mutating you into a giant monster or something." Cadance walked towards the doors of the room. "Now let's go to the labs my little ponies."

She stood in front of a giant aquarium filled with several jellyfishes of different kinds. They swam around in peace ignoring the pony's face pressed on the aquarium's glass. "Bluuaaah." She now did a grimace against them and licked on the glass with her tongue. "Mmm, taste like cake. What was that! YOU DON'T THINK I'M FUNNY! I'LL MAKE YOU LAUGH!" She grabbed a big machine gun that stood against the wall and aimed it towards the aquarium. "You know who never laughed at my jokes? Huh, huh? My parents. You know what I did to them, I bucking cut them up like somepony's birthday cake. Oh boy that was the best bucking meal I've ever tasted. Num num, mom and dad never figured that you would taste so sweet."

The doors behind her opens and in comes a sea blue crystal pony stallion. On his shaved head he wears a red captains hat with a golden sun upon. He wears a red shirt and a black belt. "No, baby what in Celestia's burning horn are you doing!"

"These moon licking jellyfishes are mocking me! They should know better than to not laugh at my jokes!" The white Pegasus eyelids where twitching violently.

"Baby, they are jellyfishes. Stupid, slimy and pathetic jellyfishes. They can't laugh, and they can't understand your wonderful jokes. I wouldn't have you wasting your beautiful breath on such pathetic lifeforms, when there is a whole crew of ponies waiting to hear your best jokes. Now put the machine gun away." The crystal pony smiled warm at the Pegasus and he then walked forward to her and embraced her. "I love you baby."

"I love you to, First mate. Hiihihihi i'm married to my first mate. That calls for a paaarteeeee!"

"Maybe the party should wait until we are done with our mission baby?"

"We are done aren't we, I mean we've gathered like over hundreds of those silly jellyfishes. Have I ever told you how much I love jellyfishes, just look at them. They look like jelly you know the tasty one you have for dessert. I would've eaten them all if not that giant robot Trixie wanted to turn them into giant lamps. Hihihihi so silly, to attack ponies with a giant lamp made of jelly."

"Hehe, yes that is silly indeed. And thanks to you Trixie can mutate them. You are really the best captain a submarine could ask for." He then kissed the Pegasus on the cheek. "But our mission is not complete, Celestia gave us new orders to assault the Crystal ponies old submarine fleet in dry dock at their base in Hayburg. The idiots haven't even deployed a single sub. It will be an easy prey."

"Oooh, what an awesome surprise. I LOVE SURPRISES! That's my name. Hihhihi. Surprise, Admiral of the Solar submarine fleet, Wonderbolt and happy wife."

"And the best of them all on those things. Trust me I know." He then gave his wife a kiss on the mouth.

"Uh oh wings getting stiff back here. Hihihihi." The Pegasus white wings where stretched out wide and thick. She looked at her husband with hungry eyes.

"I just got the naughtiest idea. Hehe."

"Perhaps." He then brought them both down on the cold metal floor and then he sat on top of his wife.

"What if somepony sees us hihihi."

"That would be a shame to that pony. I would need to pierce his eyeballs with my harpoon so he can't hear us." The crystal pony then removed his wife's blue uniform.

"I almost hope that somepony sees us, it would be so fun to see you pierce their snooping eyeballs. Aaah I can see it in front of me, all the blood. So beautiful." The Pegasus removed the red shirt from her husband and his black belt. The mare looked on his cutie mark, a green sawfish with a big smile on it's face. Behind it was a bloody harpoon. "I love your cutie mark, it smiles hihihihi. Oh and keep your hat on. It turns me on."

"Yeah I know it's always been special to me. I mean how many ponies gets the same animal on their cutie mark as their country's naval symbol. It was a sign that i was destined to become the greatest and most skilled admiral in the history of Crystal Germaneigh. Oh, Surprise my love sometimes I really miss those days. Nothing beats the feeling inside of an old Crystal sub."

"But your grand admiral hat? You can't go to the men without it."

"To bad cause I left it on the command bridge. Hihihi." Surprise flies to the metal door that opens with a squeak.

"We should really oil that door, it sounds..."

"Super fun I know hihihihi. No I think it should remain that way. When I come to think of it I want every single door in this sub to sound like that. Hihiihihihi."

"Whatever you say baby." Then he took on his clothes again and followed his wife. While walking in the lower levels of the Bloody Cake you spotted the machinery of the giant engine that kept the propellers on the sub's stern running. Pipes where running in all directions. Several mechanics where working on the engines and looked over all the instruments and panels on the walls of the giant sub. In a corner behind a large pipeline a sat a sleeping earth pony mare. Her coat was black and her mane was shaved of. A yellow helmet laid over her face and next to her laid a wrench. Surprise flew past her but the crystal stallion stopped before her.

The stallion cleared his throat loudly.

"Aw bucking donkey crap, I'm so sorry first mate Deep Streams. I didn't mean to fall asleep. It was an accident I swear on Celestia's name." The black mare jumped up scared.

The stallion smiled back at mare who looked like he was pointing a gun in her face. "Calm down now sailor. I won't hurt you, I know you don't I? You are Oily Cogs aren't you?"

"Um yes sir."

"You are a talented mechanic, I remember hiring you myself. You are doing a fine job, probably working day and night. Am I right?"

"Um well yes sir, we've had some problem with the second engine and I couldn't bring myself to sleep until it was fixed."

"And thus you fell asleep while on duty after the engine was fixed?"

"Yes sir, but i'm so so sorry sir. It will never happen again..."

"I don't want your excuses, because you should not be giving them."

"Huh?"

"You did a perfect job sailor, sacrificing your own spare time to fix the engine, while everypony else where sleeping. That's the kind of ponies i want on my crew. I completely understand that you fell asleep on duty, but I won't allow it to happen again. Are we clear?"

"Yes sir. And thanks sir." The black mare looked extremely relieved.

"You're a good mare, just remember this if you ever fall asleep again make bucking sure that Admiral Surprise won't catch you doing it. She will probably flay your hide of if she sees you."

"Yes sir." The mare looked worried again.

Suddenly Surprise appears between the two talking ponies. She is flying upside down. "SURPRISEE! What are you two talking about? Hihihi."

"I was just done with congratulating Ms Cogs here on a job well done."

"Well, shouldn't you thank him? It's pretty rude to not say thanks when somepony is nice to you. It's like if I would give you a present, and then you don't thank me. That would make me very sad and i'm sure that Streams here would be very sad as well if you didn't thank him. And if my sweet Deepy is sad then i'll be sad and trust me, you won't like me sad." Surprise's eyelids where twitching violently again.

"Thank you first mate Deep Streams. I'm honored sir." The black mare looked like she was on the edge of a breakdown.

"That was soooo much better, hihihihihi. Doesn't everything become sooo much nicer and happier when you are polite? Huh, huh?" Once again Surprise's eyelids where twitching.

"Yes captain admiral."

"Hihihihihi, oh you are funny. I mean how many mares have a shaved mane, like you must be the first. HIhihihihi you look awfully silly. And ugly. Buuuut I still like you. You're promoted."

"Um thanks captain admiral." Now the mare looked confused.

"Ooo you are now promoted to my own personal..."

"How about she becomes our new chief mechanic? Since you had the last one thrown into the sea." Deep Streams interrupted his wife.

"Well the last one was a worthless idiot." Surprise flew up into the face of Oily Cogs still flying upside down. Can you believe it, I told the best joke EVER and he didn't even smile. The nerves. So I had him thrown into the deep daaark ocean. And now he's partying with the fishes. Hihihihihi. You get it, he's partying with the fishes."

"Hehe. Brilliant captain admiral." The black mare gave her captain a very forced smile.

"That's a good chief mechanic. Hihihi. Deepy baby, can you show her to the chief mechanic's quarters and then meet me on the command bridge?"

"Of course my love."

"Great." Then the Pegasus flew away still flying upside down.

"Follow me Ms Cogs. You are a good sailor and a even better mechanic and I would hate to lose you because of our beloved captain having a bad day. Therefore I have some rules that will ensure your survival."

The black mare looked terrified. "Survival?"

"Don't worry miss Cogs follow my rules and do your job and nothing bad will happen to you. First rule, always smile. It doesn't need to be a big smile but I have noticed that those ponies smiling on duty have a longer lifespan around Surprise. Second rule, always laugh at her jokes. If she tells you something that isn't a order then laugh. Better safe than sorry. Third rule, never imitate or trash talk the admiral. Fourth rule, never mention anything about parents of any kind. Sixth rule, never talk to, or about me and never look at me unless you have something important to say."

"Why shall I avoid you sir, if I may ask?"

"Well we wouldn't want Surprise believing that you had feelings for me now would we? She can be a bit paranoid. That will not end well trust me. One navigator we had tried to kiss me once and Surprise chopped of her lips and then threw her to the piranhas. Oh she's so beautiful when she get's her anger attacks."

"Piranhas? Gulp."

"Yes, they are really a fascinating species. We have a tank of them in our private quarters. Did you know that a shoal of piranhas can eat an giant squid in less than ten seconds? Thus making it the deadliest animal in all of the Equestrian depths. Well at least of those known to ponykind. What if you would turn the piranhas into a weapon and then send them against our enemies? With such a small and destructive weapon we would gain dominance over the seas in days."

"That's really brilliant Streams, um I meant sir. Why don't you tell Celestia about it? I mean with admiral Surprise's high position in the military, surely they would listen to you?"

"Although my wife is admiral doesn't it mean that the other generals listen to her. They believe her to be an idiot and a tool they can use in whatever way they wishes. She may be a psychopathic maniac but that doesn't mean she is stupid. One day the other Wonderbolts will learn that the hard way. Like her parents did."

"But won't they listen to sir? You are after all an old veteran from the first war."

"Sadly Ms Cogs they sees me as an pathetic traitor, and many of them still believes me to be loyal to Crystal Germaneigh. And that ugly whore Sunset Shimmer does listen to nopony but herself. She is a pathetic idiot really, I've seen so many of her creations that the old crystal pony scientists could have done better. "

"I thought we where going to eradicate Crystal Germaneigh from the map of Equestria, not create a new future for them."

"Well I convinced my beautiful wife of asking Celestia to be in command of Crystal Germaneigh after the war, and luckily Celestia loved the idea of Surprise in charge over a country. She probably thinks that Surprise will kill of all the population when they don't laugh at her jokes. But in fact I will be the pony in charge and I will restore the crystal ponies to honor."

"Isn't this treason sir?"

"How can it be treason? No I will open the eyes of the crystal ponies and lead them towards the path of glory."

"It still sounds to me like you wan't to stab Celestia in the back."

"That would be something that would doom all of Crystal Germaneigh. No Celestia is far too powerful to defeat. What I want is to restore the old times. The old nation I loved. And that is something I will do. When Celestia has broken them down, burnt their homes and crushed their spirits I will come to their salvation. I will build a new Germaneigh from the ashes. A Germaneigh loyal to Celestia, but still the same nation I once loved."

The two ponies arrive at a metal door. A sign above the door shows a wrench and and two gears.

"Here we are, the chief mechanics quarters. It's not much but you have your personal bed and a toilet. That's more than most ponies have on this ship."

"Thanks sir. But I must ask sir, why are you so open to me? I mean those things you told me sounded kinda personal."

"Well you could say that i'm an open book ready to be read. And I love talking about my old home, I could stand here telling you stories of my old crew all day but I must sadly go to the bridge and see my wife. We got a very important mission ahead of us. You can take the rest of the day of. Then report to the command bridge for your new orders tomorrow." Deep Streams walks away leaving the black mare at the doors.

"Thanks sir. For everything. Hehe, never imagined that I would be promoted when you woke me up."

"That you can thank the admiral for that. I she hadn't killed her crew all the time the chief mechanics post wouldn't be open for you to take."

"Still thanks sir, you probably saved my life."

"Just make sure you stay alive long enough to be a benefit to this sub, okay?"

"Of course sir."

Deep Streams walks away from the door and towards a staircase that leads both up and down. He walks up for two floors and then he arrives at the command bridge. A giant glass window makes you see out into the dark waters that are lit up by two giant headlights, one on each side of the sub. Banners with Celestia's sun upon are hanging at the walls. A large steering wheel made of gold is located in the middle of the room on top of a platform. At the platform are several levers too. In front of it are several computers and radars in an arch. Several ponies sits in front of the computer screens. Behind the steering wheel is a large periscope and a microphone attached to he floor with a metal tube. Surprise is currently using the periscope.

"We need somepony to clean the periscope lens, I can't see for shit."

The ponies at the screens looks back at their captain. One of them dears to speak. "Um sir that's because we are to deep down under the water to use it."

"Why are we not at periscope depth? Huh, I thought it was obvious that if Surprise is using the periscope then the sub shall be on bucking periscope depth!" IDIOTS, I should feed you all to my piranhas." Her eyelids where twitching once again.

"Then it's best we go to periscope depth directly then right sailors?" Streams goes forwards to the steering wheel.

"Yes sir." They all nod their heads and exchanges worried looks. Streams then pulls one of the levers beside him. The water outside goes from a dark blue to a more greener brighter color. The headlights turns of as you now can see through the waters without their light.

"Oooh, that is so much better, thanks baby. Surprise flies away from the periscope and kisses Streams on the cheeks. "Lucky me who got you on my crew." She then flies to one of the ponies at the computers. In front of her lies a large map of Equestria with several markings at the seas on the map. On the map lies several navigation instruments.

"How far away is Hayburg navigator?"

"We are soon within torpedo firing range of their submarine dock sir. Five minutes at most sir."

"Excellent." Surprise turned and smiled a psychotic smile towards her husband. "The time has come Deep Streams my love, to send the crystal fleet to the bottom of the ocean. Aren't you totally psyched I mean this will be sooooo fun. Hihihihi."

The crystal pony looked sad and troubled. "Surprise my love I must ask of you an favor."

"Anything for you my love. Hihihihihi, is it to fire the torpedoes hihihi. Because if it is then you have my blessing to do so."

"Do I have your permission to speak with the commander in charge? Because..."

"Sir that is treason. He speaks of selling our position to the crystal ponies. That's treachery against Celes...." The mare at one of the computers was instantly silenced by the blade through her throat. Blood splashed all around her hitting ponies in the faces as the kitchen knife that Surprise had thrown pierced her flesh and veins. Surprise gazed at her husband with eyes filled with panic as well as hatred. Everypony else sat still as if they where petrified. Except Deep Streams that looked as chill as the sea itself.

"W.. wh.. what.. are you talking.. about.. baby.. we.. we've b..been over this a.. an.. and we.. we..." The Pegasus held several more sharp kitchen knifes with her wings. She pointed them towards her husband as her whole body was shaking violently and tears where forming in her eyes. "Y..yo..you said t..that I..I meant more t.. than those BUCKING CRYSTAL PONIES!!!" Now tears fell like from a waterfall.

Streams walked forward to his wife still as calm and kissed her. He then embraced her with the most gentle hug. "Oh my wonderful wife you mistake my intentions. I only sought to strengthen our numbers by turning their commander over to our side. I was after all their captain and admiral once, as you are mine now. I know these ponies, and I believe that if I only show them the truth they will once again see the sun's light. As you once showed me."

The Pegasus stopped crying and started to laugh instead."Hihihihihihi oh I am so silly. Of course you shall get the chance to speak to them. Make me proud and give me a bigger fleet. GO TO SURFACE DEPTH!"

The giant sub rises once again and the waters gain a even brighter color. Deep Streams walk towards the door. Surprise follows him thus leaving the bloody ponies alone on the command bridge. On his way out Streams grabs a long metal harpoon strapped on a leather belt. The two ponies walks down a hallway until they reaches a metal ladder built into the wall of the sub. Streams climbs up for the ladder until he reaches a hatch and opens it. Beyond it is another hatch which he opens as well. Now he climbed up out of the hatch and onto the tower.

The crystal pony smiled at the sight that met him. A large city at the Coastline with many big old crystal houses and a high wall that went along the coastline. The wall went out into the sea and a sea gate guarded the bay that went into the city. On the wall where several cannon towers and bunkers. Ponies had gathered on top of the wall to see the giant tower that had appeared not far away from the city in the middle of the ocean.

"Hayburg, my beloved home. Surprise love do you have the flag with you?"

"Sure do hihihihi." Surprise brought forward a white flag with Celestia's golden sun upon. This was the flag representing negotiation. She raised it on the flagpole on the tower. Not long after the sea gate opened and a small motor boat came driving towards the sub's tower. It was a small boat colored in the green of the Crystal Alliance. One pony was driving it alone. He was a cyan crystal stallion with a short dark green mane. He also had a beard in the same green. On his head he wore a black pike helmet. At the front of the helmet was a saw fish surrounded by waves. The saw fish and the pike was made of gold. He smoked on a pipe.

The boat stopped in front of the tower. The pony looked sadly at the white flag and then he spoke in a serious tone. "What do you solar ponies want now? This is waters of the Crystal Alliance and you are trespassing. I warn you to leave right now. Fail to comply and we will take action."

"Hihihihi look at him he thinks he can hurt us in his small boat hihihihi." Surprise flew over to the pony in the boat. " I am grand admiral Surprise of the Solar submarine fleet, Wonderbolt as well and..."

"I don't give a buck who you are, you will leave these waters now!"

"Fine I don't really care, but I bet he does." Surprise pointed at Deep streams that now had walked forward to the edge of the tower.

"Hi brother." Deep Streams smiled at his brother.

The pony in the boat dropped his pipe as he stared shocked at his brother. B.. brother, you're alive?"

"Well do I look dead to you?"

"For all these years.. where have you been, I thought.. they told me your sub sank. At the siege of Trottingham.. What happened?"

"That part is true, my sub sunk at the hand of a Lunar destroyer. They caught us in the rear. My whole crew sank to the bottom of the sea. A gunboat found me at some floating debris, the only thing that kept me from drowning. They recognized who I was and brought me back to their commanders. They sent me to the a Northcolt prison camp in Siberimare where I would spend the rest of my days as an laborer to the Northcolt Empire to pay for my so called war crimes. When Celestia destroyed the prison camp..."

"No... NO, NO! Stop I know what you going to say just stop." A tear fell from his eye.

"Naaw, your brother seems sad, shall i cheer him up?"

"No love, he just don't understand what i'm talking about."

"Really, It seems bucking clear to me. You appear on board a solar submarine in a solar uniform after almost twenty years and you are speaking of Celestia." The tears turned into anger. You are a solar marine now aren't you?"

"You don't understand brother after Celestia freed me I tried to return home. But the road from Siberimare to Crystal Germaniegh is long and dangerous for the pony without bits. I did all I could but no matter what I couldn't get past the border. So I settled down, did what I could to survive and lived on the hope that one day I would return home to my beloved Germaneigh, to my beloved brother. And one day I got in contact with a fellow crystal mare. She told me of everything that had happened, how we lost the war, how the griffons humiliated and stole everything from us but she also told me of Sombra."

"Sombra...." Streams brother looked confused and worried.

"She told me all about this unicorn, how he was going to rebuild our nation and take revenge on everypony that ever dared to defy us. I told her who I once was and thanks to her I got in contact with Sombra himself. He made me his spy in the Solar Empire. For years I served him honorably until one day everything went silent. I couldn't get in contact with anypony back home, the whole network that I had built over the years went down over a single night. I had failed my home once again. I began to fade away, slowly until nothing of me remained. I was a empty shade of a once great pony. That was when I met Surprise. She showed me that there was more to my life than being a soldier. She showed me love. Thanks to her I got in contact with the outer world. I heard what had happened to our once great nation, how we had fallen into the dirt to kiss the griffons claws. I heard how that whore Cadance destroyed my home, piece by piece. I knew that I needed to do something, to stop her! Once again Surprise helped me out. She told me about Celestia's plans and thanks to her I got a chance to speak with the Alicorn myself. I told her of my plans and she made me the second in command of her fleet in exchange for my loyalty and the schematics of our submarines which I knew as good as my own pocket."

"YOU GAVE CELESTIA OUR SUBMARINE SCHEMATICS. YOU BUCKING SWINE!!" Now pure hatred burned in his eyes. "YOU BUCKING TRAITOR. HOW COULD YOU!! You where my brother..."

"All I ever done was in the name of Crystal Germaneigh. Don't you see brother? There is no way to defeat Celestia, the only way to ever save Crystal Germaneigh is to join her. I am saving the crystal ponies. If it wasn't for me, Celestia would eradicate every single crystal pony. But I convinced her of our use, that we could be allies only if that Cadance is out of the way. Together we will restore honor to this broken nation! Join me with your fleet, give Hayburg our beloved hometown to the Solar Empire and send our submarines to destroy the griffons. Together we will lead the crystal ponies as Sombra once did!"

"Sombra... Sombra was a psycho, a monster that only wished to see everypony but himself suffer. Cadance is the best thing that has ever happened to this nation. She did the impossible, turned old foes into friends and showed us what truly are important. And you would see it all burn... I can't let you do this brother. Leave now brother and return to kiss Celestia's hoofs. Leave before the love I once held for you is all gone. If you ever loved Hayburg or Germaniegh leave."

"Hihihihhihihihihihihi, oh love do you hear him. He threatens us. Us! Hihihihi. Maybe you should show him what a true crystal pony does to those who threatens them." The Pegasus flew up to her husband again.

"I was a fool to believe you was untainted by Cadance's love plague. As I was a fool to believe Hayburg any different than rest of the crystal ponies. You are not my brother, you are a shade of what once was the proudest captain. And I would rather see you dead than seeing you like this. The same goes for Hayburg. I would rather see it burn than being a pathetic slave to the griffons." Deep Streams walks towards the hatch of the sub.

"Pang!"

The shot misses Streams and hits Surprise in the right hind hoof instead. Blood and pieces of bone bursts out from the hoof covering the tower deck in blood. Surprise screams out in pain and crashes on the deck. More blood is pumped out on the deck from the hoof that got completely pierced by the bullet. Streams runs over to his wife and grabs her. "Surprise, baby lie still now. Don't worry love it's just a hoof you'll be fine as long as the medic... WHERE'S THE BUCKING MEDIC, TELL HIM TO COME UP HERE OR I'LL RAPE HIS ASS WITH MY HARPOON!!" Streams roars down the hatch. You could hear ponies moving down there and not long after comes a dirty unicorn stallion up and two guards. The unicorn wear a white cap and a white apron with a red cross upon. He also has a first aid kit with him. The two guards starts to fire their guns at the boat.

"STOP!! He's mine." Stream grabs his harpoon and walks to the edge of the tower. He stares at his brother who sits in cover behind the controls of the boat. He has a pistol in his mouth.

"The Maus Crystal 96 pistol... Those where always your favorite choice of weapon. A bad weapon on the seas." Streams grabs the harpoon on his back and points it towards the boat.

"Better than a harpoon, at least. You got only one throw and then your weapon is forfeit."

"Who says i'm going to throw it?" Streams jumps down to the boat and points the harpoon towards his brothers back. Streams lands safely on the boat while his harpoon breaks his brothers back. The sharp harpoon goes through his whole body with ease and sticks the deck. Blood sprays in all directions and the pony is starting to cough blood. He lies with his broken back in a growing pile of his own blood.

"Streams turns and walks over to his dying brother. He spit him in the face. "You are a disgrace to that helmet, Kelp."

"Kelp just coughed up more blood as he tried to speak. "Don't.. call me by my name y.. you FREAK!" He then spat all the blood he could in his brother's face.

"Admiral Smoky Kelp. Admiral of a soon to be destroyed fleet. Such a shame brother if only you would've listen all of this could have been avoided, but now you and all of Hayburg will be destroyed. It pains me to see my old home and family to have fallen this low." He than grabs his harpoon and pulls it out Kelp's body causing the wound to explode in even more blood. The poor pony wails in pain. Streams then thrusts the harpoon through the deck. Water fills the boat as it begins to sink. Before he leaves his brother to die he grabs his pipe that laid on the floor of the boat. Streams jumps back to the submarine with the help of his harpoon. On the deck lies Surprise and the medic sits next to her. Her hoof is now bandaged.

"Oh hi baby. Did you kill that stupid brother of yours? Hihihihi." She looks tired but otherwise fine.

"Yes I did. How's the hoof? He takes seat beside her and kisses her on the cheek.

"It will be fine I mean what use do I got for my hind hooves anyway? I'm a Pegasus hihihihihi."

"Will she ever be able to walk again? Answer honest medic!" Streams looked scared.

"For the moment no. But when we get back to Helios City so can she get a prosthetic that will work as her normal hoof. The dirty medic replied.

"Oooh hihihihi, I will get a metal hoof just like Trixie hihihi. That will be so fun maybe i'll sound like her when i walk as well hihihi."

"I'll make sure that you'll sound just like that if it's what you want."

"Sorry to interrupt sir but it looks like the crystal ponies have noticed that their commander won't come back. The soldier pointed at the walls of Hayburg. Ponies where running on top of the wall and manning the guns and bunkers.

"Then we'll better take care of them. Medic take admiral Surprise down to the infirmary."

"Yes sir. You two help me carry her..."

"Silly medic I can fly down by myself. Duuu. Baby you are acting admiral in my presence okay?"

"Yes of course my love. Be careful." He then gave her a long kiss.

"Make me proud and burn Hayburg to ashes hihihihi." She then flew down the hatch. Everypony followed down. The guards and the medic follows Surprise down the lower levels to the infirmary. Streams returns to the command bridge where the ponies still sit with bloody faces. The dead pony is there as well.

"Make me a favor and clean this mess up will you?" Streams looked annoyed at one of the bloody ponies.

"Yes of course sir." The stallion runs away to get some cleaning gear.

"How long until we are withing firing range?"

"30 meters sir." The navigator responds.

Streams pulls one of the levers that shows at which speed the sub drives. He pulls it to minimum speed. Slowly the submarine starts to move forwards until he pulls it to stop again. The submarine stops. "Go to missile depth!" He pulls another lever and the submarine starts to rise. The window is still under water but the top sub is above the surface. "Bring up a map of Hayburg on one of the screens!"

"Already have one sir." One one of the screens appeared a map of Hayburg.

"How many missiles do we have?"

"Full stock sir!"

"Excellent, launch missiles here, here and here." He pointed at several different locations of the map, including the gates of the city, the sea gate, the submarine docks and at multiple locations inside of the city.

"Preparing to launch missiles 1,2,3 and 4. Launching in 3..2..1..Missiles are away. Reloading missiles."

"Excellent everypony. If you need me i'll be up at the tower bridge. Streams returned up to the tower. The sight that met him this time was rather different. The whole city of Hayburg was on fire. 4 more missiles flew over his head as they where launched into vital points of the city. They exploded in a fiery inferno destroying everything at the impact zone. At the crater fires a large fire began and they spread quickly throughout the city. Missiles had already destroyed all of the exits from the city blocking them with fire. Soon all that would remain from the attack was the ashes of the burned city. A tear fell from Streams eye. "If only you would've listen brother..."
