Prologue
Coco Pommel had always been a timid, yet hardworking pony. She never had the courage to talk against her mentor Suri Polomare, not even after the way she had been treating her for the past few months.
Well, Suri Polomare is an intimidating pony to start with, but it was the only opportunity she had to begin a living. It was a hard life for poor Coco, but she still had worked her hardest alongside Suri, despite the fact that Coco had been doing most of the dirty work.
But one day, fate had finally struck Coco. The day when she finally told Suri off and quit her miserable life as an intern of an evil tyrant. This was all thanks to the beautiful white fashion designer, Rarity, who would've won the first place trophy on fashion week, which she actually deserved in the first place.
Coco was forced to mimic Rarity's design with the fabric she had generously lent to Suri, but Rarity was deceived. Coco had learned so many things from this mare. Suri had made Rarity desperate for a new fashion line, afterwards she would go far as to make her friends help her overnight, even knowing the risk of not being able to watch Hinny of the Hills. The play they have craved to watch from the second Rarity introduced the tickets.
Coco was very guilty for what she was unable to protest against, she had never wanted to do this to Rarity.
Rarity was very miserable, yes, but after all that happened, and even the way she had talked to her friends in a matter of frustrating desperation, they still ended up as a loving family once again and always will be.
Rarity didn't care about the trophy any longer, all she wanted was her friends, not some fancy gold cup with her name carefully on it.
Coco was incredibly astonished with Rarity and her friends.
Coco could not stand her wicked mentor any longer, she wanted to serve justice a favor. She had confessed on all the lies and tricks Suri had made. Suri was of course, insanely angry at her intern. Coco could care less now, so she had finally yelled the long awaited phrase "I QUIT!" .
Coco then insisted to give the trophy to Rarity in person, just to thank her one last time for turning her life around.
She never regretted her decision. Actually, she seemed happier, but those two words that had changed her life made her question herself, "What should I do now?".
