While Fluttershy is caring for the animals on day, she hears a loud thump outside. The creature she finds is new, but familiar. He called himself a human.

Chapter 1

"Hmm, there's music in the treetops...Hmm...and there's music in the ground...Hmm."
Fluttershy hummed the tune as she worked. She had to feed to animal, clean the animals, clean the house and so much more. It was hard work, but that was okay. It wasn't stressful, it was fun. She loved the animals, she loved caring for them. It was her special tablet after all. She loved getting new animals. She enjoyed learning their langue. Don't tell AppleJack, but Fluttershy actually has a Vampire Fruit Bat somewhere in the house. She knows their langue now. They are friends. Sometimes, they would hang upside down from apple tree behind her house and suck the apples dry. Apparently, Fluttershy still had some vampire bat in her. She, of couse, keepsthis from her friends. That stare was harsh. The poor, poor creatures she used it on.
Anyway, Fluttershy hummed as she worked. It was getting dark and she would have to put the animals to bed soon. Some of them were in hibernation, but there was still a lot of animals. It wasn't hard getting them to bed, they usually listened to her.
"Okay, bed time." she said in that soft voice of hers. Today was a good all the animals went to their beds as soon as she said it. Except for Angel. He stayed in his spot on the couch. He slept in her room with her. He would never let anypony know, but he was afraid of the dark.
"Go on, Angel, I'll be up in a minute. Just keep the light on."
He shook his head.
"Why not."
He looked at the stairs, then looked back at her.
Fluttershy looked at the stair. The lights were off upstairs.
She giggled lightly. "Okay, I'll come with you."
She started to walk towards the stairs. She looked back and Angel was still sitting in his spot, looking at her. His eyes said 'Carry me?'
Fluttershy laughed, "Ok, my little bunny." She walked back over the couch and put Angle on her back and walked up the stairs. She got to her room, Angle had fallen asleep on her back. He was more tired than he let on. She put him in is little bed and pulled the blanket over him. She glanced at him to make sure he was still asleep before turning off the light and laying down in her own bed.

Thump!

What was that?! Fluttershy shot up, wide awake. She turned on the light and got up. Angel stirred slightly and pulled his blanket over his head. She looked out the window, but it was dark outside, so she couldn't see anything.
She took a flashlight from a draw and went downstairs. She looked outside and scanned the area with the flashlight.
"Oh my."
Face down in the snow was the strangest creature she had ever seen. It's back legs were long and skinny. It's front legs were also skinny, but not as long. Attached to the front legs were, what looked like, claws. It was a tan colour. It's mane was dark and short. It didn't seem to have ears, but weird things on the sides of its head.
After she got over her shock of the sight of the creature, she went closer to get a better look and realized it was hurt and unconscious. She gasped and attempted to get the creature up onto her back. But, it was to big and heavy for her to carry.
She knew it was bad to wake the animal during there hibernation, but she needed to help this creature. It was her job to help sick and hurt animals, no matter how strange. She ran over to the bear den and woke him softly.
"Oh, Mr. Bear, sorry for waking you, but I need your help."
Together, her and the bear went back to the creature. It's tan coat was starting to turn blue. Mr. Bear carried it back to the cottage and put it on the sofa. Fluttershy thanked him and he went back to his cave.
She surveyed the creature. It was laying on its back, so she could she its face. It's muzzle was tiny and it had hair above its shut eyes. His lips were blue. Fluttershy touched its front legs and it was freezing. She recoiled at the cold touch and quickly pulled a blanket over the creature and put a hot towel under its hair line to warm it up. Very slowly the blue went away and the creature eyes opened.
Fluttershy sighed in relief, she had thought for a moment that the creature had been dead.
The creature tried to sit up, but Fluttershy gently pushed it back down. "Don't move. I think you might have hypothermia."
"Where am I?" it asked, dazed.
Fluttershy took the towel off its head and went to replace it with a new one. "My home. Don't worry, you're safe here." She was surprised that it spoke equestrian. It was good though, she could help it better, not having to try to figure out was it was saying. "What's your name? Do you have a name?" She put the new towel on the creatures head.
"I have a name. It's Ben."
"Hello, Ben. I'm Fluttershy."
She held up her hoof for a shake. Ben took it in his claw.

Chapter 2

Ben opened his eyes. Everything was blurry. It could make out a yellow and pink blob looking at him. He tried to get up, but the blob pushed him back down.
The touch was gentle and soft.
"Don't move." It said. The voice was famine and soft and gentle, like her touch. "I think you might have hypothermia."
Hypothermia? He was really cold.
"Where am I?" He asked as she took a towel off his forehead.
"My home. Don't worry, you're safe here." She put a new hot towel on his forehead. "What's you name? Do you have a name?"
"I have a name. It's Ben."
"Hello Ben. I'm Fluttershy."
Fluttershy? He heard that name before. His friend, Steven, said it before. More than once, achally. He talked about her all the time. Apparently, she was...best...pony?
His vision cleared and, as it was, he was looking at a pony. A cartoonish looking, pale yellow pony with a light pink mane.
He didn't know what to do, so he took her outstretched hoof in a shake and said, "Hi, Fluttershy."
"Oh." She ran around the corner with a cup in her hoof. What the fuck. How was she carrying that? "Drink this."
She put the cup in his hand and without thinking, he drank it.
Hot chocolate? He drank it all and he felt a rush of heat wash over him.
"Aw" He put the cup down and stuck his tongue out. "I think I burnt my tongue."
Fluttershy giggled. "I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do about that". Ben couldn't help but smile at that.
"Now, you should get your rest. You shouldn't move. So, I'm really sorry, but your going to have to sleep on the couch."
She cringed a little as if she thought he was going to yell at her. He would never yell at her. He may be going crazy, but Fluttershy was too adorable for him to cause any kind of harm to.
"That's okay." He told her.
"..Okay. Goodnight, Ben."
"'Night."
Ben rolled over. 'What the hell did I take last night to cause the crazy dream.' he thought. But he knew this wasn't a dream. In a way, it was too lifelike. I could feel everything. Cold, heat, softness. He could smell to hot chocolate, taste it too. He could never do any of this in dreams. This was real.
He didn't think he would be able to sleep, but eventually he drifting into a deep sleep.

Fluttershy opened her eyes. Blinded by the bright sunlight, she rolled over onto her other side.
"Good morning, darling."
Sitting a chair was the lord of chaos himself.
"Discord!" She leapt into his arms and pulled him into a hug. "What are you doing here? I thought you were on a secret mission from the princess."
"Well, yes, but I have a few minutes to kill while 'Tia works out the new plans." He chuckled, remembering Celestia spilling her cake all over the plans. Her face! Priceless!
Fluttershy hopped off Discord. "Wonderful! Your just the thing I need right now."
Discords eyes lit up. "Really?"
Fluttershy giggled quietly. She and Discord were just friends, but she had a slight suspicion that he wanted to be more. She was also pretty sure he had a thing with Princess Celestia. Discord was confusing.
"Yes, follow me." She said walking out of the room.
Discord followed her into the living room where Ben was fast asleep.
"I-is that a human?" Discord asked, he seemed scared, which was very strsnge. Ben was nice.
"Oh, is that was he is?" Fluttershy said. "His name is Ben. When he wakes up, I'll need you to turn him into a pony. I don't think other ponies would react to him well as a human."
"You're right to think that." Discord mumbled.
"Oh and when you turn him into a pony, can you make it so he can change back at will, please?"
"Yes, of course. Anything for you, my dear.

When Ben woke you, Fluttershy had finished her morning chores and her and Discord were eating some chocolate milk filled cotton candy.
Ben caught sight of the Draconaquues and screamed and fell off the couch.
"Calm down." Discord said, using magic to pop Ben back on the couch. "Just remember, they're more scared of you then you them. Now hold still."

Chapter 3

As a bright light engulfed Ben, he felt his arms and legs grow shorter, his fingers and toes disappear, his ears move and his nose stretching. He felt something on his butt and something on his forhead and then the bright light died down.
"What the hell just happened."
"Your welcome, by the way, I got rid of your hypothermia too." Discord said before something flashed on his wrist. "Aw, I gotta go. Equestria needs me! See ya, Fluttershy." Then he popped out of the room.
"Okay, who was that? And what did he do to me?" Ben asked Fluttershy.
"That was Discord, he's a friend of mine. He turned you into a pony, so you can go outside. I didn't think other would react to you well as a human. Don't worry, you can turn back whenever you want. But, I'd say, you're pretty handsome stallion." Fluttershy blushed brightly at what she had just said. Where in Equestia did that come from? It was true, though, he was a nice-looking pony. He had a beige coat and a short black mane, not as short as Big Macintosh's, his cutie mark was a clapperboard and a black megaphone. Directing, maybe? And those eyes, those beautiful brown eyes...
"Um, thanks. Can stop staring at me."
"Oh, um, yes, of course, sorry..." She didn't realize she was staring. "Um, have some cotton candy...then...i'll, um show you around PonyVille. I-if that's okay."

Rarity and Twilight were almost at Fluttershy's when she had stepped outside with a stallion with her. They stopped, so did Fluttershy and the stallion. Rarity was smiling. She looked at the stallion, then at Fluttershy.
"Care to tell us your, dare I say, handsome friends name, Fluttershy?" She said, still smiling.
"This is Ben. I-I was just going to show him around PonyVille."
"I see. Come on, Twilight, I guess the meeting without Fluttershy. Let's just tell the other girls that Fluttershy is busy with her new friend." Rarity loved teaseing Fluttershy, but just to a small extent. She just teased her enough to make her blush, that is all.
"No. Rarity, you know we can do that. Queen Faust is expecting us all today. It's too late to cancel! The future of Equestia depends on this meeting."
"O-oh, the meeting? W-was that today?"
"Yes. And if we don't leave now, we're going to be tar-. Late. We're going to be late to the meeting!"
"Sorry, darling, you know Twilights been on edge ever since the castle came."
"Y-yes, I know. Um, let's go then. The castle is on the other side of PonyVille. I-I can show Ben around of the way. I-if that's okay..."

"-and this is Twilight's Castle." Fluttershy said, waving her hoof at the new castle in PonyVille.
"Wait. Let me get this straight. You and your friends opened a box, making you guys pretty much invincible. Then you all sent an gaint evil Centaur to Hell, then the box floated to the ground and then this castle rose up from the ground?" Ben asked as they entered the castle.
"Yes, that sound pretty accurate." Rarity said.
"It's Top Secret." Twilight snapped. "Let's just say she's very powerful and is coming from really far away for this meeting."
"Ok."
They stopped at a door, where a small dragon was waiting. Fluttershy whispered "See you later." to Ben before entering the room with Rarity. Twilight bent down and told something to the dragon, who saluted before Twilight entered the room herself.
The dragon walked over to Ben. "I'm Spike the Dragon, assistant to Princess Twilight. I have orders to watch you and keep you away from this room."
Ben attempted to hide his laughter. This guy was to adorable to take seriously.
