Sunny Side Up

~Golden Oaks Library~

A battle of wills was being played. Each waiting for the other to make the first move. The air was tense. Not even the fly that had been taking a dump in Twilights coffee moved.  All those present breathing small shallow breaths. Well... Almost everypony except one, that is. She was curled up in a quivering ball behind a beautiful alabaster unicorn. Who was not happy at all. Her friend was in trouble. She needed help. And of course, this unicorn was more than willing to help her friend.

"Rnnnnnggg! what are we waiting for!? Lets take this creep out!"  Rainbowdash yelled in frustration.

Creep?  Im not a creep...  Celestia thought as one of her eyebrows raised. Shoving that thought away Celestia focused on saving this situation.

"Please... I mean you no harm. Twilight simply passed out when she discovered what Discord had done to me. I'm really Ce-" Celestia was cut off by a blur of Rainbow colors hitting him in his side.  The cyan pony made a loud thump as she hit the stallion with all her weight and ricocheted off, hitting the book case on the other side of the room. This caused all the books to fall into the floor.

"Ow ow ow ow... What are you made of? Bricks!?" Dash said as she held her head in her hooves cringing on the wooden floor.

Pinkie snickered. "Ponies aren't made of bricks silly!"  After giggling a few more times, she wiped the smile of her face with her hoof and put back on her serious face.  Spike and Applejack had been quiet this whole time.  Spike could swear that the alicorn stallion looked familiar somehow. If only he could place his claw on it. And the funny thing was that Applejack was also thinking the same thing. Her gut was telling her that he could be trusted. She could always tell when somepony was dishonest.  'Might as well see if hes tellin' the truth.' A.J thought.   Stomping the ground hard with her right hoof, Applejack got everyones attention.

"We're all grown ponies here." The orange earth pony started before being interrupted by a moan coming from the pitiable pile of pony who was curled up on the floor.

"Well uuhhh... I reckon most of us are anyways..." She added with a sheepish smile. This was also followed by a few more giggles by the pink mare behind A.J

"I think i got an idea on how we can solve this here mudpit were stuck in.  I'm gonna give you a chance to explain yourself.  You better not lie though cause i can tell when ponies are lyin'  Ya hear? "  Celestia nodded and let out a sigh of relief.  Finally, It seemed that things were getting back under control again.

"Good.   Now uuhhhh... can you set Twilight down please?"   Celestia nodded again as he grabbed the cushions nearby in the library with his magic. Everyone watched as he gently lowered the purple alicorn onto one cushion and then sat on the other. he then floated the remaining cushions over to the other ponies.

"Thank you. I see you have some decent manners."  Rarity commented as she accepted the cushion and gingerly sat down.  As soon as she sat down though, a loud flatulent sound echoed throughout the library.  "Oopsie daisy." Pinkie giggled again as she took the now unloaded woopie cushion out from under Rarity.

"Sorry Rarity. That was supposed to be my cushion."   The alabaster unicorn glared at the pink earth pony who only gave an innocent smile back.

"Okay now lets get down to business" The farm mare said as she pointed a hoof at Celestia.

"Indeed. I will answer any questions to the best of my abilities." He replied honestly.  Now the ball was in his court so to speak. Diplomacy and negotiations were something that he could do in his sleep.

"Alright sugarcube. If you really are Celestia then please tell us why in the name of Celestia you..." The earth pony paused for a second. "Dagnabbit that didn't come out right" This time instead of giggles Pinkie busted out in a fit of laughter.  All eyes turned to the pink pony as she rolled across the floor. AppleJack was about to ask what was so funny but Rarity beat her to it.

"Pinkie!  Control yourself darling. This is not the time for anything silly." She huffed.  Sometimes her friends, especially Pinkie, could be very immature.

"Sorry Rarity but all of you are being so silly that I cant help but laugh! I mean its totally obvious that that is Celestia turned into a stallion from some kind of plant wich Discord made to impress her cause he secretly likes her but he also knew it would have side effects if touched so he tried to warn her but she didnt listen so now shes on the run from the guard and came to Twilight for help and also that explosion earlier was meant to distract the guard and get back at discord cause she thought he-"

The massive run on sentence coming from the pink menace of doom was cut off as a cyan pony got up from the floor and inserted her hoof into the earth ponys mouth.

"Make it stop..." The pegasus moaned.   The pink one was not helping the current headache she had from hitting the brick wall / stallion. It also didn't help that Pinkie decided to lick the hoof which was currently jammed in her mouth.  This caused RainbowDash to Yelp and jump back in surprise.

"So is what pinkie said true?" Spike decided to speak up.

"I do believe that sums up pretty much everything." Celestia replied. It was at that time that laughter could be heard off in the distance. and it could only come from one thing.

"Discord." A.J said with venom "This has his name written all over it."  The others in the room nodded and then a look of horror settled across one of their faces.

RainbowDash had attacked Celestia. She even called her... him a creep of all things. But before the bowing and flurry of apologies started a shout came from outside down the street.

"THERE HE IS!!! CALL THE OTHERS!!!"

"oh dear..." And just like that Celestia Teleported off in a shower of crimson sparks leaving all those inside looking at the spot where the white alicorn used to be.

"I swear its like this town is cursed or somthin' " A.J mumbled.

"See you girls later! Iv got a 'Congratulations your a sexy stallion now' Party to setup." And with that Pinkie disappeared into one of the potted plants in the corner.

"Rarity, Stay with Fluttershy and Twilight. Me an Dash are gonna go make sure Celestia doesn't kill Discord without us." The earth pony said to her friend.

"You can count on me darling." Rarity replied with a nod who then turned to spike.

"Spike can you send a letter to Luna about the situation?" The alabaster unicorn asked.

"Uhhh... I can try." He replied.

"C'mon Dash! Lets go say hi to Discord." The orange earth pony shouted with a smile as she walked towards the open door. Once outside, multiple guards could be seen heading straight for their location.

"Im with ya one hundred and twenty percent! Lets go show the real creep why he doesn't mess with the princess." Her cyan friend replied.

Unfortunately. Discord was about to learn that very lesson. Things were about to get really interesting.

---------~Ground Zero~--------

After the thick clouds of dust and ash settled, a figure crawled out of the substantially sized crater.  He was chuckling as he dusted himself off. After doing so, he brought his lion paw up to his head and extinguished the small fire that was on his noggin. He was impressed at how much power was infused into that little fireball. It also gave him a sense of satisfaction knowing that he had pissed off Dear Celestia that much. If only he could have seen her face when the solar diarch had discovered what truly had happened.  Its always in that moment of realization that all those lovely chaotic emotions surface.  As if on cue, Celestia appeared in a bright flash of crimson right in front of discord. It was all he could do to keep from laughing hysterically at the mare turned stallion. After gaining his composure he decided to break the ice.

"Hello Sirlestia -hrk- Fine day were -hhnk- having no?"   what little control discord had failed as he fell to the ground in tears, laughing uncontrollably.

Celestia was NOT amused.

"Discord! Enough of this foolishness! This is your doing and I demand that you fix this at once."

Discord snapped his claws and appeared beside Celestia leaning on the stallion.

"Okay Princess.  Heres the deal.   I tell you how to fix this little issue and we go on our merry little way like nothing happened. ok?"

Celestia growled at the draconicus.   "No promises"

"Awww dont be like that Celly. What happened to all that 'Lets be friends' mumbo jumbo that your always preaching about?"   Discord had conjured a small paper heart with 'Celestia + Discord' and had taped it to the alicorns muzzle.   However, its existence did not last very long as it was incinerated in a mass of blood red flame.  Discord made a pout face as he watched his beautiful paper art burn in otherworldly flames of hatred and malice.

"I will give you to the count of three before I lose my patience." Celestia said as if she were speaking to a disobedient foal.

"Ooooh! An Ultimatum!  How exciting!  And what, pray tell, do you plan to do if I say no?"  Discord was now floating in the air filing his talons again. They always seemed to grow in weird shapes if he did not file them.  Even though he was a mix of different races and the immortal god of chaos, he was no barbarian. He had to make sure he looked his best at all times.

During this time. The never shutting up white devil started to count.

Celestia froze as he saw that the draconicus had gone to sleep.  Combined with all the stress from this morning, not to mention the new raw magical chaos running through the solar diarchs system, he snapped.

This however, Discord did not expect.  Even during his rule that was ages ago. He had never seen Celestia lose her temper.  She always held a calm and peaceful demeanor.

Celestia let out a primal roar.  The stallions eyes turned into a solid crimson with a purple haze drifting from the corners. His coat then took on a bright orange color as his mane burst into flames.  The heat he was giving off was so intense that it melted and burned away the ground around his hooves. After coming to his senses he glared at discord yelling in the loudest royal canterlot voice that nearly flattened the god of chaos to the ground.

"You WILL obey thy command. Lest I make an example of you here and now of the Consequences of thy actions you foul abomination!!"

Discord had tried to teleport away as the clinically insane alicorn all but dragged the draconicus closer with his telekinesis. He struggled until Celestia Brought him mere inches from his muzzle. The blazing alicorn of crimson fire started to choke the being of chaos into submission, a manic grin spreading over his face.

Something was wrong. This wasn't Celestia. She was kind and had such a substantial amount of patience. Not to mention the power the alicorn was putting off was almost as much as the Elements Of Harmony.   Even at his prime discord would have no hope of even coming close to defeat how powerful Celestia was at the moment. This concerned him greatly. Perhaps it wasn't such a good idea to prank Celestia after all. Unfortunately it was too late now. black started to creep on the edge of his vision as he was slowly being suffocated by the pressure on his neck.

It was then, right before he lost consciousness that a familiar voice yelled.

"Stop it! Stop it right now! Your killing him!"     Discords world went quiet as he was dropped to the ground. All of his senses fading as the bliss of unconsciousness took its hold on him.
