CH. 1: Dreamscape Highway

I was going 60 miles per hour, on my odyssey with my friend Lighting Point. The AC was busted so we had to rolled up the windows to get some cool air flowing. That’s what I get for not putting the antifreeze in the morning. I mean I did remember to, but I had some “distractions” along the way.
We've still have 2 more days till we reach our destination. Canterlot, Rhode Island is the place that we are going make are place here. It’s a lot more cooler than other places than we ever, gone to. But it’s a lot more better than Peach city I tell you that much.
“TURN LEFT ON THE NEXT HIGHWAY, THEN KEEP GOING FOR 30 MILES”, the GPS said.
So I did and keep on moving. I hooked up my cell phone to the car and play some music to kill time. I played my Random Bliss playlist on shuffle and it started with Daft Punk’s “Touch”. It started with a alien intro, then the real magic begin. Daft Punk was my first taste of music that I ever listen too when I was a kid. Obviously it was on Toonami’s Midnight Run Special. That’s where I remember this group. Random Access Memories was their latest album they released. It captures the days when disco was king in the 70s. It also brings that kind of nostalgia in me, even though I’m only 19.
The sun is reaching touchdown and the moon is punching it’s ticket to make it’s rounds. I head to the nearest rest-stop, so I can wake up Lighting.
“Yo, Yo man wake up”, I said. I shook him some more.
Then he awoke, still drowsy and a bit sore from the trip. He let out a yawn, and stretch his whole body.
“So we’re here already?”, he said with exhaust.
I replied, “No were just at Scottsdale to get ourselves a convertible”. “I’m no stranger to sarcasm, GundamFan”, he said. “I want you to drive the whole night, I’m already spent”, I said.
“What!?”, he reacted; “I just got my license, and I can’t drive in the dark”.
“ First time for everything, I said. also this a Soul. It got high beams that can see everything on the road, you’ll be fine man”.
Lighting sighed, “Sure I’ll drive but first let’s take a leak”.
“Alright then”, I said. We done our business, then drove to the starry nights.
The full moon was wonderful this time of night. The stars were also beautiful as well, twinkling above us.The daytime can be entertaining sometimes, while the clouds form exquisite canvases. The night is more occasional, yet gives something radiant. It gives us shooting stars, constellations which tells us stories, and for return give it light show (from Deadmau5 or Nine Inch Nails mostly). It’s 2:00AM, and I already feel drowsy. I grabbed my Phone and started up Spotify again, and played the same list.
Then as next song start playing, it was Tom Petty with, “Running Down A Dream”. Ironically that’s what I start doing. I was at the restaurant, with a girl right in front of me. I can’t tell but she has pink hair and sea green eyes. Then some a-holes snacthed her away from her. So I chased the beatniks down. Then the restaurant broke down, and turned into a highway road. I grabbed a super long Hi-Definition telescope out of my left coat pocket , and Zoomed in to the beatniks.
I grabbed a capsule out of right coat pocket. I pressed the switch and BOOM! A motorcycle can catch anyone in sight (literally). I storm down the thugs and found their hideout. I came in busting out front door, like any bad-ass in any B-movie action flick. The leader of the goons took the mystery girl and run off. While the other guys stay and charge towards me. I took a cricket bat out my right pocket and smack the first goon with it. I jump over him and did a roundhouse kick on the back of his head. I knocked both them out, and I stormed after the leader.
I made it to the rooftop to meet meet my foe. The girl was tied up by the pole form hands and legs. I grabbed my two revolvers from my pockets. The leader pulled a weapon inside biker jacket. A big chain-gun that has 9 barrels by each circle. I was stumped and ran like chicken, so I can take cover. He quickly fired the chain-gun and was dodging every bullet I can. Sadly I ran to the ledge of the building. The leader grins at my stupidity and fear. So I smiled right back at him and jumped off the edge of the building. He snickered and stared at the damsel. Doing something that is, “not safe for work” if you know what I mean. But I rise up in the sky, with the Dendrobium from Gundam 0083. I launched the missiles at him. This time the leader was running scared, while the missiles chase him downstairs to the bottom floor. I land the Dendrobium and ran to the dream girl. I grab a pocket knife and cut ropes.
Meanwhile the leader is still being chase by missile. He later tripped one of the goons. He got up and looked behind that the missile reached him and the goons. A big explosion happened, so I grabbed the girl and hopped to the Dendrobium. We got out there just when the explosion reach the top. The Dendrobium flew high to the stars. The girl stared at me and blushed, so I smiled at her. She close her eyes, while I close mine. Our faces are coming into contact to each other. Till a sudden shear pain and agony was going on all over my body. I opened up my eyes, then I was suddenly noticed I kissed an airbag.
I looked up at the billboard right in front me and it says: “WELCOME TO EQUESRIA RHODE ISLAND, ENJOY THE SIGHTS!” Well at least we reached our point of destination. Now all I have to do is call triple A to tow us out and also an ambulance.
